Mon Amour

It's a beautiful scent and suprisingly sooo long lasting. I have designer perfumes that i cant smell after an hour but this one, I keep getting random sniffs of the jasmine throughout the day. It's comforting during colder months, not sure about summer, but it seems pretty universal. The drydown is a musky, slight powdery sweet white floral, very pretty, and not old lady smell at all xD

As a goth, I adore this. It smells just like an orthodox church. I've stumbled upon it and it's just what I've been looking for. I don't agree with many of the notes, though. I definitely smell some frankincense, musk, powdery and maybe a few floral notes. It lasts so much and thankfully I don't have to sell a kidney to smell like frankincense after all!

This is a wonderful dupe for Alien; in fact, I prefer this to the original, because it's more powdery and more to my liking. The anise note is everything, you feel it from the 1st spray and settles quiet nicely on the skin. Lasts all day on skin, on clothes lasts for days. Such a gorgeous fragrance.

It's a Mugler Alien clone, yet somehow I found that this is more 'dry', the drydown is more powdery, there's probably more aniseed in this one. Alien on me is sweeter, however the lasting power of this one is almost as good! 4-5 hours solid anyway. For the price it's going it's an absolute steal, Alien fans could totally take a chance on this one.

Very similar to Mugler Alien EDP. Maybe a bit more powdery and bit sweeter. A cosy/cheap everyday scent if you don't want to pay for a Mugler. It's just OK... But right after dry-down it becomes a soft skinscent with a hint of a play-dohish vibe, longevity is 3 hours max.

My friend, who usually wears alien decided to try this dupe. She liked it very much at first but she got tired of it so she gave it to me (we like to exchange or give to eachother perfumes or scents we got really tired of). I wouldn't say it's an exact dupe of Alien, it's more powdery, sweeter, cosier and less bold for sure. This is like the office, watered down version of Alien. You can get this for 6.90 (I think) in germany, I live right next to germany. I wouldn't recommend this scent to anyone though, the projection is almost non-existent and the longetivity is also not great, I would say this lasts about two hours on my skin? I've only wore this once and my nose is clogged so I will update for the actual longetivity but yeah. It does smell charming but due to it's fairly cheap price it doesn't last long or project much, too bad.

Ok so, update on the longetivity, it probably lasts longer than two hours, I just easily get noseblind with this fragrance. My dad who was in the car with me could smell it so much that it was nauseating to him 3 hours after I had sprayed it on.

Cold spring morning.. mmm this smells so good the weather brought out this perfume today

I was really close to blind buying this, but decided to hold off the purchase until I got the chance to smell it. Thank god I did! Smells like play-doh until a good hour has passed since you sprayed it. Which is a pity, because once the play-doh smell has worn off, it’s actually a very pretty fragrance, very classic white flower accord (I don’t get any black currant or apple or tonka but oh well), but the initial smell is just so off-putting and for some reason long lasting, it’s just not worth to buy it IMHO. I thought the other reviews were exaggerating but trust me, they are NOT.

I got this perfume as I am interested what Alien kind of smells like. I have to agree it does smell a bit like play-doh a few minutes after spraying it, and it somehow reminds me of potpourri. Strongest notes I smell from this is black currant and jasmine, and after a few hours vanilla on the skin. I think it’s a cozy, warm scent but definitely not for me as i’m more into cool fresh scents, Stays on the skin the entire day.

Disclaimer: I do not know how the original Alien by Mugler smells like. To me, this is mainly a spicy pepper with something fruity and powdery? I am surprised reading the notes because stuff like amber or vanilla I dont smell, this rly is like an interesting pepper to me with something fruity in the back, as to repeat myself. I at first didn‘t like it but I appreciate the artistry behind this smell. It is interesting but also feminine, without being overrly sweet or fruity. This pushes the envelope of whats feminine for me and does deserve the name “Alien“ if the original smells like this, its known yet new? The purple colour is fitting for this truly. This inspires me to look further into the original, since I do enjoy Muglers fashion and artistry.
