CK One Red Edition for Her

I love this! I'm constantly in search of fresh, clean scents suitable for work and this does the trick. Sadly I've never found one of these that lasted very well on the skin, and as a result I my 50ml bottle is running out very quickly, though I think I will repurchase. This perfume is barely noticeable after a couple of hours. I notice a lot of people have complained about the 'unisex' vibe of CK One Red but I personally like those kinds of scents on me. I prefer this version to the original due to the dark, spicy notes in it. Typically I layer this over the strong fruity scent of my body cream to give it more of a crisp 'edge' but I also love it on its own. It's a pity more people don't feel that way but I agree that it's not a 'wow!' scent; it's quite subtle.

This is a ́cool ́ fragrance. And by ́cool ́ I mean, that I feel pretty cool. I don ́t know, it just gives me this cool vibe...sexy as well. Then Dubai popped into my head. Its mysterious how certain scents make you think of cities or countries, even the ones you haven ́t visited yet. I felt like a cool,rich local chick from Dubai. Cuz I cant think of any other place to wear this frag unless its a very hot place. Ozonic,fresh,no watermelon for some strange reason since this big watery fruit is USUALLY dominant once part of a pyramid. 100% unisex!

Watermelon and violets - in this scent a match made in heaven. Light, fresh, clean and mouthwatering. I love this and I bought a backup bottle at once. Perfect for hot summerdays and light dresses. I ususally dont love CK flankers...but this is a BIG time favorite. I layer this with inception from Zarko and get pretty close to the long gone and misses New West for her. Longevity and silage are average on me.

One of my favorites and has more of a unisex vibe than strictly a female one. I think it lasts for a decent amount of time but it does fade away quite quickly after a while so it needs some reapplication every 2-3 hours I would say, especially when moving around and about.

It's funny how much opinions differ. I really dislike watermelon in scents, but I love this one so much. Luckily this note is not strong, I would describe it as floral with green notes and woody musk. Lovely, fresh and very feminine, I don't find it masculinous.

I actually love this scent. Not a strong, loud scent. It starts out with a hint of watermelon and it ends with a dreamy light amber and musk scent. On me, it last at least 6 hours. Glad I purchased it.

Just got a sample of this today. It is a very Unisex if not an outright masculine scent. It is something you imagine a very sporty sort of girl wearing after a shower in the gym in the summer!! It really does smell very very fresh! Like you just bathed! But in a good way! It isn't citrusy, just fresh. I do smell the watermelons faintly. I really like it, but I doubt I'd buy it since I already have so many better ones. But I would get it as a gift for someone younger who was still in high school or college [even males!]! Overall a very generic everyday scent. No clue about silage or longevity since mine was a stick-on sample. Update- The perfume is still emanating strongly from the sample after 7 hrs but now it has turned sweet and very watermelon-y! Still, quite a decent perfume.

this isn't a bad fragrance but my main issues are the staying power (none) and the fact that I do smell CK One Summer (pick a year because after a while they all smell the same to me) hiding in here. The opening is a sweeter mix of red berries that come across as candy sweet but die down after a wash of green/aquatic notes take over for literally maybe 10 minutes on my skin and am left with the absolute faintest smell left behind of a generic aquatic scent. Not awful or unpleasant but disappointing because I do like what this but the last power is non-existent.

There's always new CK One to try every year, some might have a little bit different characteristic, this one is fresh but feminine, which I like. The longevity is poor, which is bad for me and I have to re-spray after an hour or two. I didn't want to purchase it at first but can't help myself to get a bottle and now I'm using it almost everyday. Not bad for emergency fragrance for a night out with friends after work...

If you like strong perfumes, this is it. although it doesn't last that long. say about 3 hours (but closer to the skin) definitely need a re application! I keep it in my bag for a spritz now and then during the day. Its a fresh smell, gives you a clean feeling, slightly manly, but not bad. I got this as a gift from my boyfriend, I'm glad i didn't buy it!

It definitely isn't a hit at the first sniff. But I found myself smelling it again after a while and liked it. I think this can go for both male and female. It's fresh and fruity but not very different and lacks dimension. It's light and good for summer but I don't think I will add this to my collection. At least not right now, maybe some other time :)

Alors je l'ai testé hier et bon c'est vrai que ce n'est pas originale comme odeur mais c'est tout à fait ce que j'aime,c'est à dire une senteur fraîche,pas entêtante,et qui sent le propre bref tout ce que j'aime dans les parfums et donc il me le faut :)

First I think it`s too light. Just watermelon and that`s it. But scent surprised me! It comes very masculine on the skin, when you wait little while. It`s very different than CK Ones usually and I like it a lot!

Quite musky, I would say. Youthful, little teasing, playful, interesting fragrance. I agree it has something masculine deep inside. Also, sporty, definitely summery.

Smell fresh and clean. I use it on the sunny day and the day that I want people to think about me as an active sweet girl. love it! and good price

I just got this and it smells exactly like Bvlgari Black! I was expecting it to be more aquatic/fresh. Can't believe it !

Not a fan anymore. Purchased this and the men's counterpart with my boyfriend a couple of years ago. He has long finished his bottle while i'm struggling to get even a quarter through mine. The reality of impulse buying, I'm afraid! The watermelon note is what would have drawn me to this scent to begin with. I was very big on fruity, melon-y notes at the time. It's amazing how much tastes change because now that very watermelon note, mixed with the flowers and musk that make this sickly sweet combination to my nose, all the while having a somewhat masculine vibe to it - but not overly so. I'd consider this a unisex frag more than anything, because it could go either way. Unfortunately that's not really my thing, I prefer ultra-feminine scents. It's not horrible, I could still wear it for the sake of using it up, it's just that there are so many other perfumes I'd rather wear than this one. Update 2022: Gave it away as I still had maybe half of the 50ml bottle left and just never ever wanted to wear it.

I got this for Valentine's Day. I picked it out. My sweetheart bought it for me. I wore it briefly (not long enough!), then decided it was a go. How wrong I was. The beautiful opening of watermelon, violet and freshness, turned into sour fruit...lingering around my head, and a smell I hate. Like an older mens fragrance from the 60's in the drydown. Kinda hot and stifling. I could only smell a little of that opening delightfulness covered by the old man smell. Luckily I was at home and I could rush to scrub it off because it became very annoying and was beginning to give me a headache. Sorry Calvin Klein; Luv U, but not a hit...not a keeper...I am selling this stuff back to someone who appreciates it on EBay. Thanks anyway.

Fresh fruity, floral and musky. I love the watermelon note in this, it smells like what watermelon flavoured candy tastes like. I just got this today, and I have to agree that it has a bit of a masculine vibe to it, but more than anything, it's unisex, favoured towards feminine. So I'm not too put off wearing it. Overall it's a nice sweet, sporty, summery fragrance.

I tried it and I know now why it's so cheap. This promised new kind of freshness seems so slushy to me. After some time it turns into masculine scent. Or an old-lady scent, I can't tell. Not a great compositon. NOt long-lasting either. I don't know who would wear it.

Apparently watermelon and my personal chemistry are not friends, in the bottle it smells great, fresh and sporty- this turns nauseatingly sweet very quickly on my skin and the patchouli dirties it up in a way that isn't pleasant to my nose.

At the beginning of 2014, the Calvin Klein brand has announced a new duo of limited editions for Ck One line. In CK One Red Edition for Her, we will find a fruity fragrance, with some green and floral nuances. In the composition were inserted notes of watermelon and violets, in the output; Floral accord, in the heart; Musk, white amber and patchouli, in the base. The result is simple and, incidentally, very pleasurable. This is basically a daytime scent with great acceptance in days of spring and summer. The note of watermelon comes in front, but is not overwhelming. It's like dropping the watermelon juice on a fresh flower bouquet over a clean and almost soapy musk. At the same time, a green nuance accompanies the development of the fragrance, which I identify as the note of violets. Regarding the longevity, some say that none of the CK fragrances lasts on the skin. I think this is a very strong and widespread statement. Actually, there are those that last just a bit, but also those that can surprise. Unfortunately, when it comes to Ck One line, there are just few versions that have really good durability. But the projection of this version was very good in all tests that I performed. And the best part is that it’s perfectly shareable, in my opinion. So, the guys who like to venture into the field of women's fragrances, must include this one in their lists of trials. And that’s made me even more curious to try the male version. The bottle is still the same but, I don't know why, the letter C was cut both in the box and in the bottle. I couldn't find anything about this subject, so I can't say that all new fragrances will come like this from now on.

I purchased both CK One Red for Her & Him. I prefer the Her. CK One Red for Her opens with a sweet Runts candy accord and nondescript, mostly white florals. I don't detect any particular fruit/watermelon accord - just the scent of Runts candy when you open the bag. There is also a bitter green nuance that swirls about the florals Eventually, the Runts candy accord is almost neutralized along with the florals and a VERY SOUR musk comes out. This sour musk does recall "old man cologne" that several other reviews point out. The sour musk is almost a turn off for me, but thankfully the fragrance is extremely poor when it comes to longevity. CK One Red for Her is very masculine even with its candy and floral accords. I like it, but I wish the sour musk was tamed a bit as it gets rather cloying. Totally worth the $15 as a body spray for men/or a woman who doesn't mind smelling masculine.

I love the refreshing feeling that comes with this scent. It makes humid, hot days so much more bearable. It's a great summer fragrance, light, a true ozonic-aquatic combo. Not the most original of all, but if you don't have anything similar in your wardrobe, it's a nice addition. Would consider it a unisex and sporty scent rather than something sexy/hot and very female (like the promotional photos suggest). Sillage is alright on me, but as the longevity is poor, it doesn't really add to the quality. For the price however, I'm not one to complain. I'm going to enjoy CK One Red as long as it lasts, but will look for something else when if I finish the bottle.

I got a sample of this just today to see how it smells, and I quite like the initial "hit" of the scent. It's like the dark side to ck one original. Where the original is citrus and zesty, this is musty and fruity. However, I keep going back to see if I still like it and am starting to feel icky. Over infliction of this to the olfactory system isn't a good thing. I couldn't imagine wearing this for hours and not feeling sick at the end of the day/night. Personally I think CK could do a lot better, so I'll be sticking to the original for now.

I love this fragrance. It’s light, fresh and energetic. Totally unisex. The watermelon is done so well, it doesn’t smell like a watermelon jolly rancher it smells like cold ripe sweet watermelon, then some salt sprinkled on top. It’s sweet, salty, Ozonic with a touch of florals and woody base. It has this cool youthful vibe about it. is refreshing. It’s hip. It’s cool. It’s summer in a bottle. This is basically a Marc Jacobs Daisy x Acqua Di Gio love child. I’ll be repurchasing when I finish my bottle.

I was as surprised by the perfume itself as i was surprised to receive it as a gift. It was so far removed from the perfumes i wore and yet i fell head over heels with it. Intense watermelon on me, and lasting for hours upon hours. So urban, so carefree, so.... So 2004. Optimistic, happy, fresh, juicy. I thought it reminded me of the Escadas that we would try on every week as we hopped down the street in denim mini skirts and canvas sandals, but now i wonder if it wasn't Dalimix it reminded me of....

This is a great fragrance! Loads of violet and patchouli which are my favorites! I don't find it to be masculine at all! It is fizzy and bubbly and very long lasting! I personally love violets And if you are a violet fan you would enjoy this! The amber works beautiful here and it is one of the notes that stick on you till the end! This fragrance lasts over 10 hours on me!

Disappointment. This just smells like your average run of the mill drug store men's fragrance. There's nothing special or noteworthy, and its performance is poor. 20 min after applying, its gone. And yes, I said men's fragrance. This is very masculine smelling. Save your money. Buy the original CK One, it's much more interesting.

I tried it yesterday, and ok, it is fresh, fruity, light, really would be nice in warm weather, but it has been done soo many times, so many CK just like it!? so I wouldnt buy it, it is nice, but not very different..the base is supposed to be warmer, it never got there, on me it stays light, and summery.

IMHO, this CK One Red Edition Women is exactly the same juice with CK One Summer 2006 Edition. My ex-boyfriend gave me those CK One Summer 2006 Edition once and I finished it long long way back there. And the first sniff of this CK One Red Edition.. Walk down the memory lane! Welcome, memories!

lovely watermelon scent, could work well on a guy, beautiful creation, but ZERO LONGEVITY and ZERO PROJECTION! CALVIN KLEIN WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU!!! All the "Coty" products have zero longevity, seems like CK has lost grip over the manufacturing process, and I used to be a fan :-(

Eventhough I realllyyy love the smell of this perfume it doesnt last at all! People barely notice the smell. Even when I spray it and just a couple minutes pass the scent just vanishes. But I really love the smell it smells like a watermelon'lemon fruit salad.

It's fresh smelling, as expected based on its predecessors. Watermelon notes totally wins this. BUT didn't stay long neither on skin nor clothing. I purposely sprayed on a lot, still, the smell barely noticeable after a few hours. CK One still the best.

I tried it and didnt like it that much. It was more masculine than feminine. I could only smell watermelon, musk and maybe a bit of amber. It reminds me a little bit of a fragrance for men called Freedom by Tommy Hillfiger.

I like this scent. It has good longevity. The watermelon comes through over a fairly strong musk background which gives it an earthiness. It is a good twin of Red Male which is far less musky and far more fresh.

The watermelon doesn't sit well with me. I smelled like a plastic bag that had had fruit in it from a few days ago. In general I like the CK perfumes, but this one's a miss.

This is a big No! not femenin at all in fact it smells like old mens cologne. Calvin Klein can do better!
