Deep Euphoria

Not a review, simply a statement about reviews in general. People are missing the whole point of flankers...or I am. Not certain which, but here’s what I’m thinking. The original comes out. People try it out, and if they like it, they buy it. Some may try it out, but either it doesn’t mesh well with their chemistry, or they just don’t like the smell due to personal preferences. Enter the flanker. For those whose chemistry didn’t work with the original or didn’t care for it too much, there’s a modified version. This is to broaden the customer base so others can have their Euphoria. Keep in mind for those whose chemistry did work with the original, it’s not going to be like the original on your skin, so your skin chemistry may not work with the flanker. That’s because it was formulated for someone else’s skin chemistry for them to enjoy. So, to bash a flanker because you can’t wear BOTH the original and the flanker is unfair to others who love the flanker because it works for them when the original does not. It gets discontinued and those people lose their Euphoria and don’t have one perfume they can wear because some people want to be selfish and complain that they can’t have TWO. Seriously?! Then there’s the complaint, “capitalizing on the success of the original.” It’s a company after all that needs to make a profit in order to stay in business and keep people employed. That’s why they’re broadening their customer base by creating a flanker. It’s to draw other people in on the reputation of the original to try the flanker In hopes they will like and wear that one if not the original. So, if you can wear and love the original but not the flanker? Let it be and be glad when others who can’t wear the original now have something they can enjoy too. Really, it’s not taking anything away from you.

I'm surprised to say I love this stuff. The opening seemed very fresh, aquatic and office-serious, almost masculine. So at first sniff, I thought it wasn't a match. But then Deep Euphoria developed on my skin in a way it didn't on the paper (where it remained aquatic and sort of aloof). Deep, peppery, a bit sweet, woody tones, beautiful warm florals, bit of fuzz. I like how nothing is shouting, instead enveloping. This scent is balanced and still rich. I have to admit the drydown is not as impressive as the heart, but still. Drydown is daytime/office appropriate, but only after 2 hours or so, the heart is more evening. Yes, it is a little safe and a crowd pleaser and there's a familiarity to it because there are many scents like it. But I feel that it has just that bit of an edge to keep it from being generic. That might be annoying or comforting to you, depending on who you are and what you're looking for. Whatever the case: try before you buy, it seems to perform wildly differently on different people. In the reviews, it's as if people aren't taking about the same scent. I tried the original Euphoria EDP a long time ago and remember not liking it at all. Looking at the notes, I can see why. The combination of amber, vanilla and powdery sweetness tends to make me gag or at the very least give me a headache. But those original notes are all stripped from this version, fortunately for me. Probably another reason these reviews are all over the place though. 'Deep' doesn't seem very similar to the original Euphoria.

Deep Euphoria was one of the first perfumes that I fell absolutely in love with. It felt like I'd found my dream perfume. The Black Rose is the most gorgeous rose scent I've ever had the pleasure to smell, and the black pepper note adds the perfect edge to the fragrance, making this scent quite a unique Chypre. Unfortunately, it does not last long at all on me - only an hour or less on my skin. To fix that problem, I layer it with Coco Mad (which contrary to many people's opinion, they smell very similar to me with the dominant rose-patchouli notes in both). The patchouli in Coco M is very strong on me, and I find that the aquatic notes in Deep Euphoria really help to tone it down. The two perfumes balance each other really well on my skin, and together they create a dream scent that lasts a good 4 hours or so before I feel the need to freshen up with a couple more sprays of Deep Euphoria. I'm much more drawn to Deep Euphoria than I am to Coco Mademoiselle. I mostly use Coco M to help with longevity (I spray it once or twice, and then put a few sprays of Deep Euphoria overtop). That Black Rose/Pepper combo with the fresh aquatic notes is so special and addicting . . . TRUE LOVE!!

This fragrance has been reviewed many times, so I'm just going to say what most don't. What makes this fragrance, for me, is the Geranium note. Geranium can come off a bit strong and heady to some, but to my nose I've always found it a very alluring sexually exciting scent. Geranium shimmers to me and smells like a good dream. I know that's a very abstract way to describe it, but it's the note that sets this apart from the rest of the CK Euphoria scents. That and there's no vanilla in it. I love this fragrance. And yes, like others have said, of COURSE it's discontinued since I love it. But oh well, I'm now off to find a big bottle before this turns into a $500.00 perfume. --> If anyone knows how to refill roller balls with perfume or turn a perfume into a roller ball (because it has to be complicated, right? It can't be just simply pouring it into an empty roller ball), could someone PM me and let me know? I have this EDP in a 10mL roller ball right now and that seems the best way for me to apply EDP and I don't want to get an EDT and be disappointed by the silage. <--

I tend to receive a lot of positive comments from men when I wear this scent. My boyfriend actually loves it, it reminds him of our first couple of months dating. I initially found a 1 ounce bottle of this for 70% off at ULTA. It was a blind buy, but I figured I'd just get it and see how it went. I'm so glad I did. For me, this blends beautifully with my chemistry. It's rich yet clean, sensual and seductive, with a bit of a dark mystery all wrapped in one. It projects very nicely, and has stellar lasting power. It also layers well with other things. I will either use it on its own or mix it with White Musk Oil from the Body Shop, and some Patchouli Oil. That seems to add a really unique boost to this creating a heavier, and even more alluring aura around me. I've never actually smelled the original, but have always been curious since this one compliments me so nicely. I almost forgot, it also works really well with the single sandalwood/Javanol note of Molecule 04.👌 Either way, layered or on it's own, it's a win for me.💘

I’m really loving how juicy and powdery she smells. Reminded of a scent from narciso Rodriguez rouge edt. It’s a far lighter version of the powerhouse coco mademoiselle. I’m really loving it. I get the patchouli n It’s not overpowering. Juicy in the opening. Cozy and comforting in the dry down. Very happy I decided to finally wear her. I have so many fragrances and am finally spending time with each one to find out what works and doesn’t. This one is definitely staying in my collection. I purchased more than a year ago and never fully wore it to get a full impression. I have an actual appreciation for this and it’s well past the initial dopamine rush of having a new fragrance. I first fell in love with the youthful original euphoria many years ago and this is like euphorias grown up sister. She’s unapologetic and doesn’t care what others think. She doesn’t care if you don’t approve of her. She’s here and you notice her. She’s not looking to be a people pleaser. She’s sexy and she knows it.

Wore this today while out shopping. Went into a restaurant around 3:30 for a late lunch. When we were seated, our wait person came by to clean our table a bit better and take our drink order. While wiping the table, he leaned in over the table and then exclaimed, “you smell FANTASTIC!!” I get that reaction from friends and strangers all the time and it makes my day. This scent works BEAUTIFULLY with my skin chemistry that it’s like a second skin and I can wear this all year round. It’s never too heavy or too light. It’s just right. Everyone has their preferences and particulars for what works for them and this one checks all the boxes for me. Calvin Klein execs, if you’re reading this, please don’t ever discontinue this scent. This is a winner. Ignore the haters here because this gets good reviews on other sites. Just because it doesn’t smell exactly like the original is kind of the point. If they all smelled the same, you may as well just have the original and leave it at that.

I don ́t know what happening nowadays with people!! When a perfume it ́s not overly sweet and sugary than it ́s bad ???And when it ́s sweet than it ́s worse,or what? When Gucci by Gucci has a masculine vibe this why not?What ́s wrong with that? I think people don ́t know what they want,they just want to comment everything. This is a lovely creation from Calvin Klein,not sweet...Thanks God!Finally something dark,something with pepper,patchouli,rose.Something unique,sexy,deep,dark,gothic. I think this will be perfect as a Halloween party scent. It ́s absolutely amazing!Very heavy on rose-patchouli combo but there is something smoky and woody in it.The pepper it ́s perfect in this composition.Not the typical sugary sweet girly fragrance but mature,sophisticated,more feminine than the other ́s.Why not? I think that this fragrance just great!The deep dark purple bottle perfectly match with the juicy inside. Sultry,alluring,sexy,demonic,spicy,heavy!Thats it.Nothing more,nothing less.

Rose lovers may like this. Others who don’t like full on rose scents may like this too because it doesn’t smack you in the face with a bunch of screaming roses. It’s an earthy rose scent with mandarin orange and a tiny bit of white pepper that dries down to a deep rose scent with woody patchouli and musk. It does become rather musky after a while on me. I love musk scents but muskiness is not for everyone or their cup of tea. Not an overpowering scent at all and I think you can wear this any time of day in any season. Very versatile (at least on my skin). I love this!! I’ve come to fall in love with this scent and find myself craving it. It’s deep, earthy from the patchouli, rosy, only slightly sweet from the mandarin leaf tempered down by the pepper. It’ has contradictions and several facets. It’s sensual, it’s happy, it’s deep and moody, it’s playful and sexy, it’s sweet and delectable, it’s spicy and exotic. For whatever mood you’re in and most definitely “euphoric”!

I’ve reviewed this before but since I worn it today, July 15, I wanted to let people know that when I said you can where this anytime, that it’s true. There is a freshness to this that comes out during summer months with lighter application, while there is also a sweeter side to this that comes out during the winter with a heavier application. Same can be said of wearing it during the day with light application and in the evening with a heavier application. Adjust the dosage for whatever occasion. For me, this is one that Calvin Klein did right! Edit: wore this again today spraying veeerrry lightly and I definitely got what others did. It was smelling like Coco Mademoiselle or really more closely to it, Coco Noir. Not overpowering but not one to be standing outside for very long when it’s 100° F. Very nice and got several compliments.

I think this is my fave Euphoria flanker so far! I think the name "Deep Euphoria" and the dark purple bottle suit it completely. I also think it's very unisex, IMO. At first spray, it's fresh and I can smell the peony, but it doesn't last long at all. Then the heavier notes take over. To me, it's a patch bomb and yes, it's masculine. If you don't like either of those qualities, then you may not like this new release. As it settles, I get a musky rose combo, but the patchouli is still dominating. I do get slight nuances of the original in the dry down. You can tell it's a Euphoria flanker, but much more woodsy and deeper. The dark purple bottle is gorgeous too! This is going to be a new fall/winter fave of mine for sure. I'll have to edit at a later time for sillage and longevity, but it seems to be pretty strong.

I love the original Euphoria and couldn't wait to try this! Sounds beautiful and gothic. Plus the ad campaign with Margot Robbie is just gorgeous. Although I'm yet to get through my entire 100ml bottle of Euphoria; I'm glad this one comes in a rollerball. Edit: omg this is a "black magic rose" scented Heaven in a bottle! Spritzed some on at the pharmacy today and had to run away before I spent the $100 (overpriced) on that gorgeous dark red gothic looking bottle! I had no idea what notes I was smelling but the whole thing was just divine. I need this in my life. Upon smelling the paper strip I also spritzed with this and put in my wallet, I found this to be a heavy patch and rose fragrance. 2 notes that I love especially together. A touch masculine which is fine by my tastes. "Deep" Euphoria indeed.

I cannot explain how much I love this fragrance. The freshness, the creaminess, the cascalone, the MUSK. omg the musk. I honestly don't detect patchouli but I know it's in the background. This wavers between salty-creamy-musk-rose and barbershop aftershave masculine cloud. It reminds me of the after-effect of a hug from a beautifully groomed, gorgeous smelling man. I would love to smell this on a man's neck. I wish the longevity and overall strength were better, I want an intense version of this fragrance. It does last well on clothes though, and is beautiful layered with a spritz of Body Shop Black Musk.

I adore this fragrance!! I love the euphoria line, but of it’s flankers, this just may be my favorite followed by the intense! It does remind me of something but I haven’t got my hands on YSL’s Elle yet. This is incredibly sexy, mature, femme fatale, yet not too in your face. It definitely can go from the workplace to date night. The patchouli is so good in this, but it’s pretty prominent, so you have to enjoy that note. It fades on my skin somewhat quickly, as if it becomes a part of me, but somehow, radiates into the air! Love 💕! It’s a bit tough to find, so a little pricey, but worth every penny!

Deep Euphoria is a lovely everyday perfume . I get rose patchouli and strawberry but apparently there isn't any. And yes it does remind me of Coco Mademoiselle but more of Miss Dior Cherie. Loving this perfume, lasts all day. Doesn't smell anything like Euphoria which is good . I love Euphoria but its more night time going out perfume it is so strong. Will be buying another bottle. Good value for a Miss Dior Cherie copy So many compliments whilst wearing this perfume from both men and women

Surprise surprise! It's very similar to the discontinued YSL Elle, only lighter. Just wait until the top notes fade (which, I agree, smell kind of mademoiselle-ish/so elixir-ish and what not). Unlike other reviewers, I find it pretty deep. It's sweet fruity but not girly sweet, very woody and heavy on patchouli! Woohoo! A good alternative to YSL Elle. I would buy it right away if I hadn't stocked up on Elle. P.S. It has nothing to do with the original Euphoria.

Deep Euphoria is patchouli-pepper-rose-musk-woods, Great bottle -- love the deep, rich, rosy red-violet color. I got samples, then a full bottle. I actually find this scent quite wearable with casual clothing all year around. Patch fragrances tend to do well on me. The musk-patchouli-pepper reminds me a lot of Chanel Chance edt, but I find the Deep Euphoria more wearable.

A spicy rose that lasts forever on me, might be the hot weather. Found it years ago at a bargain price as the lid was missing (tester bottle). Not sure if it's discontinued now. I have the original Euphoria but that one is a lot of woody and masculine on me. This is a spicy, dark rose 🌹 I crave and love it from time to time.

Original Euphoria + Alien = Deep Euphoria. I like it. It's a grower. I bought it today and think the more I wear it the more I'll fall for it. It has an airy quality. It reminds me of a holiday I had in Turkey years ago. Warm and breezy, spicy and airy. I can see this being a "must have" for Autumn.

I got this for half price at ulta. I liked original euphoria, but found it a bit overwhelming. This is a very floral/ spicy scent with a creamy rosy dry down. It’s beautiful! So glad I bought it! I love patchouli and I can smell that as well. One of my new favorites.
