Eternity Aromatic Essence for Men

I'm a bit flabbergasted with this one, honestly. I went in store to get something and the lady there (whom I'm now on second-person basis with) told me they got the new Eternity in and I'm not a big CK fan so I was a little indifferent and she said "it's a better version of JPG's Le Beau!" and as a big JPG fan I obviously dismissed that statement... until I got a sniff. This is stellar! It does open with Le Beau EDT's coconut note but without the pineapple from the EDP this is much less sweet, much creamier while the juniper brings freshness and lightness as opposed to Le Beau's much sweeter, heavier DNA. I don't smell pepper here to be honest. The drydown is where things are very different to my nose. Whereas Le Beau is very linear and stays very sweet, Aromatic Essence dries down woodier, drier and smooths out, taking it closer into fougere territory with gourmandish inclines from the creamy coconut. I honestly have a hard time believing what I'm smelling here. CK often don't disclose their perfumers but this was obviously done by a very skilled perfumer. Perhaps Frank Voelkl who did the Parfum not long ago? Let me make this clear: this doesn't reinvent the wheel. It's a familiar DNA but refined and more mature. Even though I'm not the type that's after compliments, this obviously will be a compliment monster. It's got good longevity on me (a good 6-7 hours, probably more in the heat) and thanks to that woodier drydown it probably won't be as crazy sweet and overpowering with warmer weather. This is perfect for spring, probably will be for summer as well (although not on stupid hot humid days) and is very office safe if sprayed sparingly. After the disappointing Reflections which left me completely cold, Aromatic Essence is very surprising outing from CK and will be getting a lot of use in the coming weeks.

Didn't know this one existed, just saw it pop up on Jomashop while browsing fragrances and the notes sounded promising, so I bought the 200ml bottle for like $50 I think? I have the regular Eternity EDT, but this one doesn't really have a single similarity to it. I would definitely call this flanker unisex, and in high heat or if you've been sweating, it almost crosses over into feminine leaning territory, so probably not a gym scent for some people. There's a spiciness in here that could probably hold up in winter with a few extra sprays, but on the surface, this is a spring and summer daytime scent with a vague tropical vibe, think less beach and more high end hotel near the beach. Despite being a Parfum Intense, it only has EDP performance, but my bottle is new and the batch code confirms that, so now that I've introduced oxygen to the bottle, it'll start maturing and will probably get better. Now on to the reason I bought it immediately after discovering it. I had recently picked up the new Valentino Uomo Born In Roma Purple Melancholia and really enjoyed it. Just about every note that's in the new Purple Melancholia is in this one and the scent checks out. It's like a brighter Purple Melancholia and layers extremely well with it. If the rumors of Valentino discontinuing Purple Melancholia end up being true, this fragrance is a great, affordable alternative. Overall, this is a solid 9.5/10 for me. It's got everything I'm currently into for a fragrance, but lacking the longevity I was hoping for.

Dammn, I'm so in love with this fragrance. Yes, it's not revolutionary but it's sure unique in its own way. A fan of coconuty fragrances and this here is top-notch, one of the best if not the best coconuty fragrance in my collection. I actually prefer this to my Le Beau le parfum, which is on the edge of too sweet & juvenile for me (though not a deal breaker). This is just a sweet, creamy, more mature coconuty concoction in a bottle. The performance on my skin is great (10-12 hrs). The projection is loud for like 2-4 hrs, 6ft-10ft, definite room filler (choked a colleague out who was seated in an opposite room, doors open with 5 sprays). It still does projects even after 8 hrs because I've recieved comments from 2 different colleagues, on 2 different days, both said they could smell me walking down the stairs from the 1st floor while they were on the ground floor (at the end of an 8 hr shift), that's insane. Could still smell this on my wrist even after 20hrs. All in all, really happy that I was able to get a 3.4 oz/100 ml tester bottle for $43 & at that price, it's a steal. It punches way above what you'd expect from am eternity flanker. Smell - 8/10 (not unique but smells awesome) Longevity - 8.5/10 (for a CK 10/10) Projection - 8.5/10 Sillage - 8.5/10 Versatility - Spring, Summer, Autumn 8/10 Ps. This is for my skin, these results may vary for everyone else. Finally, wear what you like, when you like, how you like. Happy spraying!

Edit: I don't know why, but suddenly occured to me to try this on one arm and bad boy cobalt elixir on the other... Cobalt elixir is smoother and less sweet in the opening, which I prefer. That said, they are very similar and if you have one, you don't need the other. If you have none, this is a great summer evening fragrance, but I definitely prefer cobalt elixir. It's smoother, less rough in the opening (less intense/sweet coconut), and in a side by side comparison, it seems of much higher quality. That said, this is a cheaper, nearly as good alternative to the same DNA and well worth it. I've had this for a while and like others, the first few times I wore it, a saccharin sweet, almost sickly base was hard to grit through. A few months later and it's summer and oh man... The overly sweet facets have mellowed and there's more woods and lavender in the opening and dry down. This is now a killer summer fragrance. I don't know if my nose changed or this thing actually macerated, but if you felt like this had potential if not for the headache inducing sweetness, give it a few weeks or a couple of months and try again. Maybe it's just me, but the last few times I wore this, I was completely taken back by how good it is and how little it resembles what I remember it originally smelling like. Don't give up on it too soon!

This stuff has no right being this good. Surely not, it's an Eternity flanker, right? Holy moly, this was a full-bottle immediately. Destroys my Le Beau frags (too sweet), makes Boss bottled Pacific whimper with fear (too weak). Zanzibar is running for the hills (too...something), as well as any other 'coconutty' or tropical fragrance I have in my collection. Why? They have managed to somehow wrap those aforementioned things into this fragrance, whilst adding an aromatic/green/herbal nuance to it in the drydown that is awesome. I don't care what the name on the bottle is, this stuff is getting a lot of wear this spring and summer. A lot. This, for me, personally, is one of the best releases I've smelled this year. So far, on my skin, both longevity and sillage/projection are moderate to strong. Paradise garden is good, but it didn't 'wow' me like this one has. Just my opinion, YMMV

This is honestly a really solid cheapie. I usually overlook Calvin Klein fragrances, but a friend put me onto this one and I’m glad I gave it a shot. It comes across green, aromatic, and slightly sweet fresh. The main notes I pick up are juniper berries, Sichuan pepper, coconut, and lavender, which gives it a nice balance between fresh and smooth with a bit of character. Performance is decent for an Eternity release. I get about 5 to 6 hours of longevity with moderate projection for the first couple of hours. It’s not beast mode, but it does enough to get noticed. I picked up a 200 ml for around $30, which makes this an easy grab and go fragrance. The first few times I wore it I got compliments, so it definitely punches above its price. Overall, it’s a great value and absolutely worth checking out if you want something fresh, clean, and easy to wear.

I honestly can't believe how good this is for the price. This fragrance is slept on by everyone. It has a beautiful creamy coconut note that's not overpowering and never comes off as being synthetic. Its exceptionally well blended with all the notes working in harmony together and the dry down is wonderful. It puts my boss pacific in the shade. I blind bought a 200ml bottle for 80 bucks and have zero regrets. In fact I might just by another while it's on sale as I live in the tropics and this may just be my new signature given no one knows about it. Longevity is perhaps 6 hours,but with a 200ml bottle, just reapply as you please. A solid 8/10 for the fragrance and surely a 10 for value. Possibly the best fragrance CK has ever made.

Love this. Bought because I really like the opening and mid of JPG Paradise Garden but can't stand the cloying drydown. The opening on this is not as speactacular as Paradise Garden, but very nice, fresh and bright, the mid is very similar to JPG PG and the dry down , for me, is way better , as I dislike the drydown in Paradise when all the best notes have disappeared. CK Eternity for Men Aromatic Essence is a great summer fragrance, but I expect I'll wear it any season. It's fairly linear, but a great fresh, yet warm, sexy, smell. It's the only CK I own as I don't like the smell of CK 1 , Eternity etc . This one is something special if you like coconut and green vibes.

I should start by saying I’m a huge fan of coconut-forward scents. On MY SKIN, this feels like a mix of Yacht Club and Purple Melancholia, just with a much heavier dose of coconut. I’ve been hunting for something like this ever since I picked up VRPM. To MY NOSE, it isn't nearly as sweet as Le Beau Le Parfum or as sweet as some other reviewers have suggested. FOR ME It hits a perfect balance that feels right for a gentleman over 30 (I’m 65 myself). After letting my 100ml bottle mature for three months, I gave it a full week’s wear and immediately went out and bought a 200ml backup. It’s honestly that good.

This is marketed as a summer fragrance, but it's honestly a better cold weather scent. It is as, others said, like candy, but since I love a super sweet winter fragrance, this is amazing. Coconut stands out in the winter and it keeps the scent's aromatic character to be unique from a standard winter gourmand. In warmer weather I noticed the creamy coconut and its sweetness got lost and it felt more peppery and fresh than I like. My first bottle was a smaller one from a sample set and my full size version I bought to replace it can't come close to the sweet coconut heaven of the little one.

After reading some of the reviews here I had high hopes on a blind buy ahead of a tropical island getaway. At first I was a little disappointed but on the dry down it really comes alive. This is my first fragrance with a coconut note and I genuinely love it. Not too sweet and doesn't smell synthetic or like BO in my opinion. The juniper berries definitely stand out after the first couple of hours but the coconut also lingers. Received two compliments my first day/night wearing it, with one of the waitresses now wanting to buy it for her partner.

As someone who loves coconut fragrances I love this, The scent is wonderful and works well on my skin. The coconut really shines a couple hours after spraying where its just a really creamy coconut. The sillage is very good and the longevity is between 5-6 hours overall good performance. Only issue is the price definitely a little expensive but I got the 100ml 40% of so at that price its definitely good value. Mostly a spring scent but could very easily use in summer.

Person below is crazy: This smells nothing like Santal 33, not even in the same fragrance category and it definitely does not smell like pickle. Luckily, most people don't have that person's "senses". This is a nice aromatic coconut, lavender, and cardamom fragrance. Very reminiscent of JPG Le Beau. Long lasting and decent price for what you get. 👌🏻 good for casual wear in the summer. I get complimented every time I wear this.

What a gorgeous all year long fragrance. It's creamy enough to be worn in winter and fresh from junipers to be the ultimate summer banger. Much better than JPG Le Beau, holds eternal on skin, not strong projector but you get whiffs for a whole day. You can get a 200ml bottle for $60 which is insane deal. The rating is a joke. This is 9/10 easily and probably the best CK ever put out

Ridiculously downplayed here and at Parfumo, because it outperforms the competition. Only 226 votes? No, that's bs. Just tested it, absolutely gorgeous, and clearly the best with coconut. 3.91 is a joke, this is a 4.91. Not even extremely expensive perfumes with coconut come near this one. Perfume prices are such bs. But you can buy a 200 ml bottle of this for less than 100 dollars.

I'm sure 90% of the negative reviews have never tried this frag. This stuff is a banger summer time scent. The coconut is perfect. I got a sample of it from CK. I immediately bought a 200ml bottle just after testing it for a couple days. I spray myself down every time before going to my community pool. The hottie lifeguards approve - can't argue with that lol

I like this a lot. Great summer fragrance for multiple occasions. Last and projected well for me. Not to sweet like Lebeau Not bad for a CK fragrance. Performance is pretty good too. I also like this in the spring as well as the summer to fall transition. 5/5 and a top 10 for me. May be a limited run so try and sample then get a full bottle if you like it.

Acaba de comprar el perfume ck aromatic es sencillo, y me ha sorprendido muchísimo. Lo compre a ciegas por que tenia coco y cardamomo, que son mis ingredientes favoritos. Se parece mucho a Le Beau, tiene ese aroma parecido. Lo recomiendo para las personas que les gusta el aroma a coco en los perfumes.

It’s very similar to Le Beau edt but a bit darker and not as fresh, the coconut is very prominent definitely blind but worthy if you like Le Beau. Im also picking up a phantom perfum smell on the dry down even my wife thought I was wearing it. Overall a great fragrance for $79 aud

Someone included this in my package when I bought some more Burberry Hero Parfum, and I can see why, this smells like it belongs as a flanker in the Hero lineup more than Eternity. Either way it’s great coconut and cedar always smells good together like peanut butter and jelly

This one project like a monster on my skin. I found it very close to CK DEFY PARFUM (very good too). They share similar vibe but CK DEFY PARFUM is more of a winter version ... Longevity is very good too. On skin 10+ hours, on clothes - DAYS! :) Very good CK one.

As of this moment, one the best smelling fragrances of all time for me and I've smelled a few over the years. Similar to Le Beau Le Parfum and Paradise Garden, but different. The scent of this juice is utterly intoxicating. Love it!

This is sexual! A 50ml blind buy as I love coconut... I wish I'd bought the 100ml! I have both JPG LeBeau's and if coconut is your jam, 'Eternity Aromatic Essence' eclipses them both. A creamy, spicy, coconut, aromatic scent.

A great update on the original Eternity, fresh and sweet. Does not smell like Le Beau or LB Paradise Garden to me, those are more complex, this is simpler yet no less elegant. Great for spring or summer day or evening wear.

Highly underrated. Imagine if the notes and the vibrancy from Fusion d'Issey extreme had a lovechild with le beau's smoothness. Well executed, the bulk of the performance tapers off after 5-6 hours.

Very nice, aromatic, smooth, coconut, and creamy. Shares a similar DNA to JPG Le Beau. I prefer this over Le Beau. It is a bit sweet but not overly sweet or cloying. Overall I give this an 8/10.

Wild Berry Skittles with a hint of lightly toasted coconut. Quite strong and long lasting, lingering sweetness. Not sure this is a summer fragrance.

A more mature Le Beau thats not sickly sweet. Opening is slightly synthetic but nevertheless great value.

It actually develops to more of a leather type scent. Perfect combo for me. Get 200 ml.

I've had this a couple of months now and I'm a fan. I'm wearing it this evening and have stumbled upon the realisation this is like a lighter, fresher, summer flanker of PDM Layton. And I'm glad to see I spotted at least one other comparison in the reviews. Obvious comparisons to the Le Beau line but I'm not so sure now. Of course the coconut is there with a good bit of sweetness but this has a cleaner, more easy going profile and is much less synthetic. There are crossovers with Invictus Victory Elixir but thankfully CK doesn't dry down with the same playdough vibes. I owned both Le Beau Le Parfum and IVE and went on to sell them because of the aspects I didn't like or tired of quickly. I felt that CK gave me the best parts of both, removed the negatives, and added its own thing. Now I've got to know this one better and picked out the Layton-esque vibes, I'll be wearing this one a lot more. It performs pretty well on me too and I'm more than happy to overspray it without risking overdoing it due to the nature of the scent. This hasn't been hyped other than being called a hidden gem, so I'd really recommend trying it out.

I love coconut scents for some reason. Coconut soap , shampoo or candles,I like all of that. Especially coconut mixed with some vanilla and or some tropical fruits. People online call this perfume a hidden gem so I blind bought this on a sale. I like it . Cant really compare it to anything else but this scent has just enough coconut scent not to be annoying or misstanken for sunlotion. Its very " airy" and fresh and it also smells very tropical. Its a perfect scent on hot summer days at the beach or for vacation. It kind of reminds me of a blue shower gel mixed with some coconut. Its nice and I like it. I just got it so I'll be back with an update later if anything changes. Update 2026 June: I had this for a while and it has changed. Unfortunately I never reach for it. I did try to give it a chance a couple of times but always backed down for some reason. Perhaps I prefer sweeter coconut scents like hawas tropical and Le Beau type of scents. Im still not sure what I think of it. Maybe it will grow on me.

Updating my review. I have used this a good 10+ times by now. So this is a dark green velvet creamy coconut fragrance. But in a not so thick way. It is definitely a coconut forward fragrance and surprisingly keeps that note throughout. To me it's light pine , coconut husk, coconut oil , slight creamy. I don't really get the pepper or much lemon. Slight lavender. It leans more aromatic than sweet which I do like . It's not a youthful fragrance in my opinion. It's more for a 30+ man . I liked it more and more . But I can totally see why some people wouldn't like it. Performance is great. I was able to smell it on me for about 4 hours. So I was probably projecting for a good 5 or 6. It was on the skin for a good 8. I was able to smell it on my clothes the next morning. If you want coconut but not too sweet I suggest giving this a try

It smells nice, let me start with that. As an aquatic scent lover, I tended to avoid sweet perfumes, so Eternity brings something new to my collection. That coconut is just insanely strong, and not in a bad way. However, this was the first perfume out of maybe 100 that I tested, that made me suffocate and really irritated my respiratory tract, especially when being sprayed on the chest-neck area. Therefore I cannot call this an easy perfume to wear. I'd rather just smell it on someone else and let them deal with the breathing part. I am however still considering it. Later edit: bought it. Even later edit: Pro tip: don't spray it on your chest or the front of the neck, unless you want to suffocate. Also I walked in a shop wearing this, got dates with both sales ladies.

Does not smell like Le labo which is leather and sandalwood and some green papyrus.... the notes are not even similar at all. This is definitely overload of coconut, lavender, juniper and cardamom.... I simply don't see how anyone thinks this smells like santal 33, the only note they have in common is cardamom. And I can tell you that they smell completely different not even similar at all, santal 33 doesn't even have any sweetness in it where as this is very very sweet in all the ways I personally enjoy but may be too sweet for some people. Luckily because this is so sweet the aromatics actually gave it a good balance and the lavender helps cut through that sweetness. This is a great fragrance, beast mode performance, huge compliment getter, smells great!

As I've written somewhere else, I find these three new releases to be cousins, CK Eternity Aromatic Essence, JPG Le Beau Paradise Garden, and CH Bad Boy Cobalt Elixir. They scratch a similar itch. Compared side by side, CK is the least sweet of the three, especially in the drydown where the other two sweeten up, but, though I usually gravitate towards sweeter scents, this one appeals to me the most. It's a blast of coconut in the opening that's more satisfying than the one in JPG, little less aquatic than that one, too. It's still slightly sweetened coconut water, but it's a bit thicker compared to JPG. Gradually, it turns into a pleasant, mainly aromatic scent, with a bit of sharp woods. Overall, a success.

After a few months of owning and wearing this perfume, I have to say, my opinion has gone down. Don't get me wrong, this perfume is very good, but considering the pricing, maybe you would be better off going with one of the JPG Le Beau fragrances if you are looking for this type of scent. The opening is very juniper heavy, makes me sneeze every time, and after comes a very sweet coconut. Although it smells nice, I didn't see myself reaching for this on hotter summer days as it very much does get cloying and doesn't even last that long in the heat for me.

This is what the women's fragrance should have been like. It's warm, tropical and delicious with a toasted coconut/lactonic note that is mouth-watering. The women's one is a damp squib in comparison! It does remind us of JPG Le Male, and after a while my husband finds that a bit too much for him. While it is still masculine-leaning, it might find it's way into my fragrance collection in the future... Just sayin'.

Creamy coconut with a bit of backbone from the juniper berries, pepper and cardamom. A perfect mix of sweet and fresh. If this was in the JPG Le Beau line folks would be purring about this one but in al honesty it's even better than them because it never once comes across as synthetic. 9/10 if you like creamy sweet fragrances this is a no-brainer and performance is great as well.

Well, I blind bought this fragrance since I like coconut notes and there were good reviews about it. I have JPG Le Beau Paradise Garden, Xerjoff Shunkoin and Creed Virgin Island Water. I can’t say I don’t like it but it is overly candy-like sweet and it makes it smell cheap. I expected stronger juniper, lavender and cedar notes to make it smell like more a freshie than a candy.

I bought this for my husband and it`s really delicious. Very potent, creamy but masculine without the typical pinching notes in perfumes for males. The coconut is also well done, it`s definitely present but it blends perfectly with the other notes into a creamy and sweet fragrance. Sillage is also very good, when he walsk around traces are noticeable in the whole house.

The smell is very synthetic, but somewhat pleasant i’m the dry down. If coconut could slap you across the face then this would be the fragrance to allow it to do so. I will say, i think this fragrance could be versatile and an all year round scent. (don’t come after me). the scent is very strong at first but it gives off a fresh, clean coconut-black peppery scent.

Just got this in the mail for a decent price and was thinking I missed my main window for wearing it (summer), but I actually think this smells more like a cool-weather-scent for me. It's super sweet like candy with a vague coconut tint. Fits into the realm of something like Boss the Scent Magnetic for me as that one smells like candy too. Performs well.

This fragrance actually surprised me: I'd go so far as to say this might be the best Calvin Klein fragrance. Aromatic, fresh, and sweet. Everyone keeps on comparing this to JPG Le Beau and while I get that, I think it's a bit closer to Le Male. I do agree that this is better than Le Beau, though. Definitely check it out!

I like it. Very aromatic scent for sure. Masculine in a modern way. Main notes are coconut and lavender, but other notes are well blended and there are not single note that is significantly stronger than the other. Nice for warmer weather. Great for office or casual.

Smells very unique, and yet familiar. Better than the OG EDT. About a tie with the EDP; however, the EDP is more versatile, while this flanker is more pronounced. Try before you buy. It might be too distinctive in a sense and you may get tired of it.

Very nice summer fragrance. Man oh man is that coconut note prominent. When I first smelled it I knew immediately what it reminds me of ALMOST 1:1. Azzaro chrome pure. Redundant to own this when you can pick that up for $35

Very green with some lavender & citrus in it. Surprised there isn't any herbs listed like rosemary or basil This is not a tropical/coconut fragrance...this is a "green/aromatic" fragrance with coconut in it
