Eternity for Men Intense

I love this fragrance, i remember when i went to chemist warehouse and asked if i could smell it. For some reason i got the dirtiest look from the worker and they said i quote "Are you serious, do you actually want to smell this shit." I said yes ofc i do! I remember the worker pinching his nose, while he sprayed it onto the test strip. As soon as i smelt it i snatched it out of his hand and sprayed all over me. "I LOVE THIS" i screamed and ran to counter with the biggest smile on my face and payed for it. I am still yet to smell a better fragrance at 75 years old, this fragrance is gonna get buried with me and poured all over my coffin. I also named my dog Eternity after this amazing scent 10/10 would highly recommend.

This is really bad. I wanted to like this, but it is so cheap and does not last long at all. No one is exaggerating here by saying it does not last longer than half an hour. I can't imagine anyone wanting this. There are way better options that this scent is trying to rip off, like Dior Homme Eau For Men.

A typical new release hate, without trying it out, like always, what a lovely portion of community... I am not a lover of CK, but this one is really good, the dry-down is really pleasant. Performance was unexpected, thought it is was an EDP, seemed very oily, lasted all day.

Smells fantastic..I feel Calvin Klein is probably one of the most underrated fragrance brands there is..

I normally wouldn’t take the time to review a flanker from Calvin Klein, however, I see users have dumped on this fragrance heavily and I wanted to point out some reasons not to. Let’s get the name, “Intense”, out of the way first. Is it? Definitely not, however, it’s really not as bad a performer for me. Still, it’s not outstanding, so that hurts my rating of this fragrance. Just spray your clothes for better performance. I get a lot of iris and geranium, some pepper, rhubarb, and the freshness of the citruses up top. I definitely think the comparisons between this and Dior Homme or Dior Homme Eau are valid. The iris is the main note and smells similar. I don’t get much longevity from newer batches of Dior Homme or Homme Eau, either. This is heavily discounted online, so pick it up on the cheap. Do not pay retail prices for anything from Calvin Klein, or Coty, or any other fragrance for goodness sake! This is why I think it’s not so bad. Overall, it’s a pleasant smelling fragrance that works well in any season, day or night, any occasion. Performance is honestly average, with decent projection for the first 90 minutes. Reapply with this one once it fades, it’s not going to break the bank if you purchased it from a discounter. Really, it’s similar to the two Dior fragrances and the performance is the same for me, so all things considered it’s good. Definitely try before you buy. Coty produces the most samples than any other fragrance company I’ve seen, so ask your SA before you pull the trigger.

Putting excessive amounts of Iso-E Super in a fragrance is a lottery - some people perceive it normally, while others are completely anosmic to it. I only came to understand this after buying DH 2020, which is also based on generous amounts of the molecule. Actually, these two share quite a few notes - bergamot and pepper in the top, vetiver and cashmere note in the base, and, of course the cedar note courtesy of the aforementioned Iso-E. Contrary to what most reviewers say about the performance, this can last a good 10 hours on my skin, but analogous to DH 2020, it does not project crazily and seemingly disappears only to reappear later on, which is the distinctive feature of this elusive woody molecule contained therein. Sadly, that might be the reason this was ditched not long after its launch, despite being (in my humble opinion) the one Eternity flanker with the most natural ingredients. Nobody was able to tolerate this elusive performance in 2016 and still many are not able to tolerate it in the era of the new DH 2020 - even more now maybe, in the era obsessed with loud beastmode fragrances. If you are still able to find it for a decent price, give it a go, spray further away from your nose, don't sniff your arms every 2 minutes and you might appreciate the subtle elegance this offers.

Simple pleasant fragrance that actually resemble chanel Bleu and Dior sauvage it ain't bad just nothing new or creative it's a likeable pleasant fragrance that will not offend anyone nice office or work fragrance but sometimes and for some people simple is a good thing I have a lot of the top designer fragrances by chanel, Dior, Gucci, Burberry, Versace,etc that actually doesn't nearly get complimented as much as I'll say my azzaro Chrome's,cool water, nautica's,CK one,curve, issey miyake etc. I'd say check it out spray it on the back of your hand let it settle in and see if it works for you and I used to wear the original eternity and it got me plenty of compliments as a kid in HS I no longer wear that one but I do own the aqua and I think summer 2014 or 15 version only thing about those versions is they don't last long but they smell good.

For me I get the Rhubarb and the Iris quite a bit. These are the two notes I notice the most in the beginning and it's pretty good so far. This definitely has a Dior Homme similarity but it is a little bit different. The Rhubarb note takes this in a different direction and it has a slight sweetness to it that sets it apart. I think this is a good fragrance to have if you want a cheaper alternative to Dior Homme and if you enjoy CK fragrances. I got a 6.7 oz bottle for $40 and I'm glad I bought it. This could smell really good to a woman I think but I haven't had confirmation just yet. I think you could wear this on a date. The drydown of this is nice. Don't listen to the haters on this one. This is a good fragrance. Rating- 85/100.

I bought this for only $9.99 for a 3.4 oz bottle at TJ Maxx (quite a bargain!). Not bad, especially at the price I paid. I can definitely detect the DNA of the original Eternity for Men, but this one smells a bit more updated, a bit...fresher(?) Longevity isn't the best, but unlike other reviewers, I am at least getting far more than 30 minutes fortunately. Maybe 4-5 hours longevity. I can definitely still detect Eternity Intense after 4 hours, but just as a skin scent. This slightly enigmatic scent pays a bit of tribute to original Eternity, as well as being evocative of Sauvage, Bleu de Chanel, and those types of fragrances. A definite "like," but not love, from me.

I rocked the first Eternity when it first came out, and it was a good performer and crowd pleaser. Now Intense, to me it is smoother that the original with a little less sharpness. I get almost moderate performance with it. I love fragrances with pepper. This is not as peppery as Suavage, or Modest Une but it is there for me. Anyway bang for the buck it smells good and you won’t offend anyone and you may even get a complement or two. I really like the flanker “Flame” it is pineapple base, and no....it’s not trying to smell like Aventus! Anyway I think CK has had some great hits, like Shock and some that did not do as well.

I have to say, I actually like this one. It took me a couple of applications to warm up to it, but what it lacks in originality, it makes up for in quality. Spicy, smokey, powdery. Take the most distinctive aspects of Sauvage and Dior Homme, and you have this interesting concoction. 7.5/10

This fragrance had gone within 30 minutes!! The longevity is 1 hour on my wrist.. I think should have been called "Eternity Office" It's very closed and serious environment like the office scent.

Super safe fresh spicy scent you can over spray during the day and is super non offensive. I actually like it when I just want to smell nice for an everyday type of wear.

Strange, intense but doesn’t perform against the EDP. Go with the crazy strong green EDP. Does project longer then the EDP. I figured that early.

I found hint of Bleu de Chanel and Dior Sauvage, Lasts 3-4 hours on my skin. Projection is moderate. Overall not so good but not bad either.

Really pleasant car scent (reminds me of the interior of a classy BMW)! Stayed on my wrist for 4 hours and then became a skin scent.

Very nice smell and performance the smells like “Dior Homme”. It has good projection and longevity.. 8/10

Surprisingly, this is a very nice fragrance! Smells nothing like the original, though.

Applies generic dept store men's fresh scent with a soft woody chord in almost equal amounts. Pillowy shampoo lifts everything on a soft cloud. Not too powdery or stale. Soft marine chord present but feels more of an accent. Overall, mild, even though it projects enough to be noticed. What's getting noticed is fresh school locker room. Doesn't offend or challenge. There is a dusty musk that swoops in and tamps down, making it more restrained and balanced. Classy and intriguing now. More of a sweet woody dry down with soapy blue. Even though it starts too familiar, give it a chance to dry down and re-assess. It's better than you might expect, but still nothing really new. Competently done safeness. Not offensive, but there is a lot more unique and exciting out there.

This is one of those fragrances that could've been an absolute hit but fell short in a big way. Don't get me wrong the fragrance itself is amazing, when you can actually smell anything. It's so weak and has zero longevity that you really have to put your nose up to your skin or shirt to smell it. On clothing you may get some longevity and a modicum of projection. When you actually get to enjoy it there's a crisp woody clean aura with a touch of citrus tea and pepper mingling to smooth it all out. If CK had dialed this in to actually last I'd adore it but sadly it's only a faint whisper of what it should have been.

Just got this in the mail, first impression is not very positive, to me this smells like a salty floral fragrance with no sweetness at all, not a very plesant smell but who knows some may like it, anyway i can not recommend it as a blind buy, this does not project neither does it last, to me its a failure, but do try it just don't blind buy this trust me.

A sweet wet linen fresh laundry smell.

Eternity Intense is a complete misnomer because it certainly doesn't last an eternity and there is nothing intense about this fragrance; it is a lighter/fresher type scent that disappears in 30-60 minutes. Not good... In a nutshell, Eternity Intense does not remind me of Eternity in any form or fashion (which I respect, but now smells dated to me) and, in fact, that iris accord reminds me quite a bit of Dior Homme. On a positive note, it doesn't smell as bad as DH and, to be honest, the fact it is such a weak performer is good news. It lacks originality, does not smell good, and is not very well composed IMO. Overall, shame and disappointment await anyone who samples this less-than-stellar fragrances. The only Eternity worth considering is Eternity Aqua on the men's side IMO. On a positive note, I got to sample CK One Summer 2018 and I'll be picking-up a bottle when it hits the deep-discount market.

Not a great fragrance for me. Opening has fantastic peppery citrus and floral notes. It seems promising. This quickly fades away within minutes and I am left with a sort of mixed floral mess on my skin. The residual smell isn’t that pleasant to my nose and tends to linger. Let me explain...my late mother once asked me to grab a tissue out of her handbag for her. After searching around the bottom of her bag I was left with a fragrance similar to this on my hands...a mixed floral scent that wasn’t that pleasant. Basically it’s a mixture of makeup and spilled floral scents with a bit of saturated cloth thrown in. Not something that I want to smell on my skin. That Iris note is not for me with the combination of the other scent notes. I wouldn’t buy this again.

My coworker fragrance bro let me borrow his bottle. This is some pretty awful stuff. Maybe some iris/florals over a kind of vetivery, peppery wood. Everything here is compressed, artificial and screechy; extremely generic. Performance was pretty weak but it lingered most of the day on me. Headache inducing. Even with the dirt cheap price this one isn't worth it. I liked the original Eternity but how may flankers are there? This should be called Calvin Klein Eternity: Bargain Bin.

Tried today at Macy's. Sales lady thought I should buy it after smelling a card. It was ok at best but I told her I don't buy unless I test it out for a few days to see how it performs overall. She said "Then spray some on and try it now". By the time I left the store, the smell was gone. Boo!!

It is a joke. Gone in 20 minutes. It is all about iris root + some citrus and wood. Great scent for an office with "no perfume" policy. Smells ok but does not last at all. Skin scent. Overpriced. Safe blind buy (wont offend anyone). I have an official sample from Macys.

An Eternity of Intense Horror. I can tolerate this scent as an anti-perspirant deodorant. And that's it. Probably the worst thing i've owned. Compared to this pathetic entity Allure Homme Sport and Chrome Intense are true epiphany. *(****)

Had to do an actual review on this. A few comments below i said this smells like a right guard deodorant i wore 20 years ago, as an insult and a dismissal. That was a few months ago in much cooler weather. This scent is an absolute let down in the cold months, even if its note base and scent profile read otherwise. So today, I'm just in the mood to buy a fragrance. Im at the mall, trying to convince myself to get Dior homme eau. Love the original, but have balked at homme eau. It is "too much" to me. Too much iris, and way too sweet in its presentation, especially when it is considered a warm weather fragrance. Ive tried to buy it but just cannot. I then thought of eternity intense, its poor performance, its note breakdown, and then thought: "it has iris in it but is not an overpowering iris, nor is it sweet. Perhaps it makes sense in the heat of summer". Put a few sprays on, walked around for a bit, and ultimately bought a big bottle. I know this thing is getting its teeth kicked in by reviewers, but i am going to make a case for it for those interested. Powdery iris and citrus, smoky in the opening,nice spice, floral, you get a sense of the original for a moment or two. Citrus burns off and the iris, bit of smoke, woods, and soapiness, and that is where the scent sits for the duration. Where i found homme eau to be a bit obnoxious, intense is calmer, more wearable, and very versatile. Just a really nice fresh, clean, soapy scent that does not over project and will not offend anyone. I have actually gotten a few compliments wearing it already. I paid full price but I am sure you can wait and get it for much less. I'm okay with paying full price for this. I can wear this at my job, my wife loves it, i cannot overapply, and it deviates from fresh citrus and isn't part of the ambroxan army (although i love ambroxan scents) and sits very comfortably in my summer wardrobe and will become a dumb reach. I just dig it. Give it another try, wear it on a hot day and i think it may surprise you. Calvin Klein is very hit or miss, much more miss than hit, but now i will go ahead and buy a bottle of the original eternity. These both serve as nice counterpoints to one another.

What’s with all of the hate guys? This is not the first time I’m seeing a lot of you reviewers crap on colognes. You guys need to be careful with that. Too much negativity makes me wonder things that normally wouldn’t ever cross my mind. Fake reviewers, people who are toxic, and to be honest all of this negativity is now giving me vibes of reddit. Reddit has the worst reputation for toxic people and their comments. If you guys are going to trash a scent, try and give your explanations in an adult manner. Don’t just put something unintelligent like “ ugh this smells like puke and cotton candy”, I’ve literally seen a comment like that on another review, this kind of stuff makes me scratch my head. I understand that people are allowed to have opinions but too much negativity starts to become a little strange. I’m not a white night hero for Calvin Klein, and I get that they have had their fair share of hits and duds, but 12 reviews on poor longevity? 16 reviews for poor silage? Come on guys... This stuff if oversprayed has the ability to clear out a room and I’m not joking. Something isn’t adding up here. I’m now skeptical when I see the lot of you guys crap on a scent with such low scores, makes me wonder if half of you just hate Calvin-Klein based on bad experiences from previous purchases and now hate just to hate, or are the competition. Anyway, I get shades of Christian Dior Homme, but in the dry down that’s where things start to change. This is a beautiful scent that does NOT deserve the hate it gets in here. On my skin I get 6-8 hours and the silage is moderate, but go easy on the sprays. I get Iris, lavender, wood, grapefruit, geranium, and Cashmere as the dominant notes.

This should have been called "Eternity Office". There is nothing intense about the fragrance whatsoever, and I really have to wonder what they were thinking when creating and naming it. That being said, it works very very well as an office scent for me. There is a somewhat unspoken no-fragrance policy where I work, and I've actually been sent home by my boss to shower off my fragrance before. Eternity Intense is so powdery-light and unoffensive, that I have been wearing it to my office the last three days and no one has said a word. I'm not sure if they can smell it, but I get whiffs off it every so often. I don't mind having my own personal fragrance bubble at work, and then spraying on some more serious stuff when get off. So while the name is absolutely bizarre, the fragrance itself is pleasant to me and is serving a great purpose. If you want something similar but with bigger projection, more longevity, sweeter iris, and more complexity, check out Eternity Intense for WOMEN. It's everything I originally wanted from the men's version, and is absolutely unisex. **5/15/18 edit**: Welp, so much for all that. Two sprays on the chest and one on each hand this morning. Boss walks into the office and flips out on me saying I'm smelling up the whole place. I can barely smell it. One co-worker confirms she can smell it well throughout the office. Weird.

CK was close to having a very solid Eternity flanker with Intense... You can tell that they were onto something, but it does end up falling a bit short for me. I will say... I like the fragrance. But with the note breakdown and being an "Intense" flanker, I was expecting something richer, spicier and more... Intense. I like the White Pepper, Grapefruit, Black Tea opening... It's spicy, masculine, very aromatic. The Iris and Rhubarb make an appearance and along with the Lavender take the scent over. As it reaches the deep dry down you're left with the light woody notes that make up the base. After about 2 hours, it just becomes a little nondescript... It's fresh, slightly spicy and woody, with small hints of the Iris. But the notes that make the fragrance somewhat unique, are just gone... It doesn't retain the notes you would want and it also doesn't develop. Again, I do like it... It's a solid office scent, nice change of pace once in a while. Just wish it would have been crafted with the same approach CK took with Eternity EDP.

I bought this one at my local retailer at a discount and here is what i think of it: Pros: This scent is perfect for a very closed and serious environment like the office. It is inoffensive and not cloying at all therefore no one will complaint of headache. It has a soapy smell like dior sauvage and i can say that it is a mixture between Dior Sauvage and Dior Homme Eau. The poor longevity and projection is also not a problem for me during work. Cons: I will never wear this to any evening occasion. The smell is just too boring and 1 dimensional. It is not seductive, exciting or playful at all. And the poor longevity and projection is a problem when I’m out and about in the evening Conclusion: i would not call this a bad fragrance. I just think that it is not versatile and only serves for work and not anything else at all. For me there is no such thing as a ‘bad fragrance’. Every fragrance has its own strength and purpose.. well.. except for Secretion Magnifique..

Walking through Carsons yesterday, decide to walk over to men's fragrances just to see if there's anything worth looking at. Immediately assaulted by a sales clerk that I managed to shoo away with a stare. Saw Eternity Intense sitting there and figured I'd see what this new concoction is from CK, "hey maybe they made something worth sniffing," Sprayed some on the arm and right away thought, "hey this is pretty nice actually, but let's wait a few minutes and see what the drydown is like". Walked out of the store and had my wife smell and she said " I can't smell anything". Huh? I put my nose to my arm and it was gone! Completely! 10 minutes later! A sad testament to the current state of CK. An absolute joke of a fragrance.

Gone the days of CK being creative, innovative and leads the market. After the released of Eternity Night, now comes Intense > a smokey "Night" version wt a splash of peppery and cirus woody scent for the base. Any good? Longevity. 3-4 hours on me. Any bad? The scent is pretty flat, last 3 hours on my skin and honest speaking it is very ordinary smokey warm winter scent. Any Eternity influences? Little bit - the lavender and some flowery notes lingering behind the smokey scent. Any more? No. It is a big let down - CK obsession wt the flankers now officially turned to complete madness. 2/10 from me, sorry fans, CK need to do much more in near future!

I had bad experience with CK fragrances,got collection of 5 different CK fragrances and none of them last longer then 10 minutes with ZERO sillage,,To me Chinese fragrances last longer then any of the CKs...I don't care what ever they make now i will never ever buy it...Recomend to all not to buy CK,save money for something you never tested before,there is millioins of fragrances we never tested...

i sampled this because i love the note iris but my god this has to be one of the worse fragrances i have ever smelled. Every once in a while CK house surprises me with a semi well made fragrances but you can tell that absolutely no thought quality or care has gone into this piece of garbage of a fragrance. i fee like CK owes me money for intentional infliction of emotional distress.

Woah, Sampled it today and just waaay too much Iris. So much Iris, like WTF is it with everyone putting Iris in mens cologne. It is the epitome of girly. It was fine with Francois Demachy did it in Dior Homme to break a little more ground but enough already. Prada, YSL, etc, everyone stop putting Iris in mens cologne. If you wear this one you might as well just grow a vaj.

I like this scent and its got nothing on the original Eternity. Intense has its own characteristics and personality and I agree with the above this scent relying upon the Irris! The open is unusual too and I'm not sure I like it yet but the best part of the fragrance is the middle section which is very plesant indeed! I give this 6.5 out of 10.

It is a pleasant fragrance, a very safe to be around everyone without being cloying. IMO this has absolutely nothing to see with any of the Dior Homme and its flankers. It has a character of its own as the iris is undetectable you won't be getting that kinda lipstick vibe like you'll expect from the noted ingredient.

Smells not even remotely close to joop!! It smells like he Eternity Night Flanker they had last year with something else added. It's very spicy and not something I would ever wear unleaded I had a super hairy chest and wanted to burn a hole through a door with my fragrance . Major pass!

The very first blast smells like Denatured Alcohol only for about 5 minutes and then settles down into a Mr. BURBERRY/ OLD AFTERSHAVE COMBO. I kid you not.... Do not blind buy...... You'll thank me later... STAY CLASSY AMERICA.....!!!

Disappears fast. Doesn't smell bad. Spray on your clothes and it will last longer. Compared it to Dylan blue, Dylan blue was detectable 12 hours later, CK intense lasted a few hours.

I like CK fragrances, generally. But, why oh why do companies produce fragrances that don't last. Not just CK either. I'd rather they didn't bother. It's a pet hate of mine.
