Eternity for Women Reflections

Calvin Klein is one of my favourite of all time Brands, and this being a fresh citrusy floral is right up my alley so I blind bought this and it came today! It’s very citrusy, aquatic and fresh. It reminds me of my current favourite Capri Summer by Skylar I assume from the blood orange notes, I hope It projects a bit better than I feel like it will, fingers crossed! Either way though, if you get it for a good price than who cares how often you have to reapply, that’s my take on it anyways :)

Beautiful from the Candy opening until the fade down but unfortunately it doesn’t last too long or project too well. Lovely summer skin scent though and great addition to the collection.

I love a lot of the Eternity flankers especially Eternity Moments so when I saw this going on a clearance sale online due to the box being damaged, I bought it without even knowing what it will smell like. The sweet opening shocked me because I was not expecting that at all. I was expecting something light, watery and airy. It is strong in the opening then mellows after 10 minutes but you can smell it every time you move or the breeze catches it. I can imagine how this will be by the beach or waterfront. You must never do more than 4 sprays if you don’t want to give yourself and others around you a headache. Sillage is moderate and longevity is about 6 hours on skin. It lasts longer on clothes but don’t overspray because it is very sweet and cloying. I do get some powdery feel after like 3 hours. When I layered 2 sprays of this with Lancôme Idole, it was an overload of pear and it was crazy sweet. Would I repurchase? Nope. It’s nice to have but it’s not a love for me.

Eternity Reflections reminds me of the Eternity Summer editions Calvin Klein used to release up until 2020. It’s a simple fragrance, perfect for spring and summer. The opening feels fresh and uplifting, and later it settles into a softer, sweet vibe. It’s not a beast mode scent, but it certainly doesn’t deserve such low ratings. The launch price was over the top, but now it has reached a much more reasonable range. I’m even planning to get it for my teenager, as it feels like a light, versatile everyday fragrance.

I'm looking for a very fruity (more pear/grape/black currant fruity than strawberry fruity) but deep scent which I can also wear at night. This comes closest to what I'm looking for. It's fruity from the beginning right to the end. At first spray it's very fruity (pear and blood orange being almost the same strength but pear in my case a bit more). After about 15 minutes or so it gets a bit "more complex" (I'm guessing it's the jasmine). After an hour or so it gets a little bit "deeper" (guessing it's the sandalwood). I normally reapply after the first 2-4 hours and two to three times a day - each time the scent gets a bit stronger as the longevity and sillage aren't that great but in doing so at least the longevity gets a bit longer after each application. And maybe it gets better the longer I have it. I'm not too sure about which season this perfume is best to be worn but right now (it's autumn where I am) I'm loving it - and I can imagine it being an all year scent for me but maybe a bit more for warmer temperatures.

I find this really appealing and familiar. I have purchased the entire Reflections release. The fragrance simplicity is not a negative, in fact maximalist or needlessly complex perfumes are increasingly off-putting and I find refuge in Calvin Klein fragrances. You could say marketing knows this and targeted me accordingly, but why should I mind? My interest in the brand rekindles and if they continue their minimalist aesthetic then I am happy to continue trying the new scents. I was born in 1990 for reference. Eternity original and CK One original have nostalgic impressions for me, so these new releases allow me to carry that along. I feel sorry for people who do not have the positive associations that I have and are extremely negative about Calvin Klein for whatever reason, no matter what they create. Additional Notes: I am wearing this fragrance in Autumn, I think that it would become too cloying if worn in warmer weather, but time will tell. I tend to prefer its sweetness now as it comes across slightly sedate. It still has a heady kind of effect, but it isn't fusty. I may just like it because it gives the aura of post sex with a fantasy woman.

There’s something unmistakable about CK fragrances, not a specific note, but a kind of signature chemical base that gives them all the same “CK DNA.” The moment I sprayed Eternity Reflections, I knew exactly what family it belonged to. It’s a simple, fresh summer scent, pleasant enough, but closer to a body spray than a proper perfume (think Elizabeth Arden - Green Tea). It opens overly sweet and loud, then fades fast into nothing. The dry down barely lingers, like it evaporates mid-sentence. Not terrible, this is something you’d spritz on after a shower than a scent meant to define you. Definitely body spray territory.

I bought the one for women and love it for everyday use. It's giving me Juliette Has A Gun, Pear Inc vibes, but fresher and not as sweet. I've layered them together and wish I'd bought a backup bottle of the Eternity. It also pairs well with Elizabeth Arden's Green Tea. I'm really loving the fresh, green perfs atm.

I smelled this perfume last year, the price like 119€, I liked it but it was definitely not worth the ir. One year after release I hapilly bought it for 29€. 😂 It's a simple but pleasent scent for spring and summer, I'm sure I'll be wearing it a lot.

Skin test, cold autumn day. Fresh, green, airy, fruity, clean, rounded.. Lasted a couple hours... I’d try it again on a pulse point.
