Eternity Summer 2016

Calvin Klein needs to re-release this fragrance. I own almost the entire summer line and nothing compares to this absolute beauty that is summer 2016. The Jasmine, lemon and sandalwood make such an enthralling combination. I feel like every time I have it on I have people asking me what I’m wearing, they are surprised every time I say Calvin Klein Eternity Summer as it’s such a unique release from Calvin. This is my special night out perfume and absolutely one of my favorites I own. There’s definitely a reason it held its value on resale sites unlike the other summer lines... it’s AMAZING. I would say it lasts a good day on my clothes and the same with my skin.

Adding part 2. Purchased this today. The frangapini is very strong on initial spray and during dry down. Settles into palmy musk along with the frangapini. Simplistic scent. I smell zero of original eternity in it. Not at all like past summer versions. This is the best one yet. Not very strong for an eau de parfum, I'd have guessed eau de toilette, but very beautiful. Settles close to the skin and so I'm sure this will smell wonderful in the summer heat on warm skin. Main notes are frangapini and Palm. Very true frangapini scent. A tropical without coconut. Love it.

I want this scent so bad, i can smell the palm leaves in this fragrance. I went to ross a while ago and they had this 3.4oz for $25 and i went back to see if they were still there and gone, i was so upset and i am still on the hunt to find this for $25 again online. If anyone knows where i can find it again let me know pls.

Smelled and skin tested. It's wonderful. I'm usually a bargain hunting buyer at tjmaxx, marshalls and Ross but I am splurging on this one at full retail price in the department store. Clean and very very summery. Breezy floral and green. Palmy green.

*update* just bought it today!!! I agree with the user Skittlesmells it smelled so good when i was in khols spraying this on myself, but in my room it's very floral.

If I could have a wish granted it would be to have this back along with Eau d'Eden. Absolute perfection.

Love this! Littlebit girly, but not much. Im 40 and this is definitely my next summer perfume!!

A nice fresh, green, citrusy fragrance with floral sweetness that develops more the longer you wear it. No synthetic smells and notes are well blended, if you smell up close then there is an underlying sharpness and soapiness as many "clean" fragrances have, especially from that time but it is well executed. Great for summer and the beach. I have my bottle for more than 10 years already and it still smells lovely so that says a lot about the quality. But lately I feel like it is time to move on to a different scent profile as to me this type of fragrance will be juvenile as it was my starting point in the fragrance world. Don't get me wrong this is safe for all ages but like with many things, when you grow up, you feel the wish to explore more and these clean, citrusy fragrances feel more like the past to reminisce about. I wonder if others have a similar experience with other scent types? Does everyone grow to love leather scents and french wine? To me that feels still far away. I've been wearing Calvin Klein fragrances for most of my younger years and I think this has greatly influenced my perception of fragrances in a good way. At that age I did not care much for fragrances and honestly was a bit disappointed that adults gifted me fresh fragrances instead of sweet ones but because they were gifts I used them anyway. Looking back I see all of the gifted fragrances were really nice and well blended and since I was quite the mischievous and independent tomboy makes sense I would mostly be gifted something that suited that. Why the long intro? Well I just wanted to emphasize that me and this brand go a long way and it took me a long time to come to appreciate it for what it is. In my recent serious fragrance journey I've tried quite a lot of fragrances and have come to some conclusions: 1) A fragrance does not have to be expensive to smell good or last long thus also just because a fragrance is expensive does not mean it is of good quality, tastes aside; 2) Most of the Calvin Klein fragrances that I have owned (I don't remember and are yet to add all of them to my fragrance list) are very well blended and have unique notes - to an untrained nose I can imagine all they feel from a fresh bottle is citrus or as some like to refer "cleaner" but once you let the fragrance develop (as it is with some fragrances) and learn to differentiate the notes, you can come to appreciate it better and see the unique aspects; 3) Calvin Klein fragrances are crowd pleasers - they are inoffensive and likeable, fresh and appealing which is good for not only the brand because ...sales.. but it is also a great option for those who do not want to deep dive deep into the fragrance rabbit hole or who want to start with a safe gateway and I've understood not all fragrances have to be niche, stand-out or be in-your-face. If you want such a fragrance don't look for these qualities in a place that it is not intended for but do your research and find the brand that will suit your taste. It is good to share your opinion even if you do not like something but to actually be disappointed and disrespectful just shows how little one understand about themselves and how little effort they've put into things. 4) Many Calvin Klein fragrances do smell similar but not the same and I think this is a good sign for a well developed brand, to have this unifying DNA, sometimes it is even hard to explain what is similar but I think that is the magic of a good perfumer, even with different notes they can create this nostalgia similarity effect - then the only thing one needs to understand is if they like this DNA or not. My long comment is not intended to offend anyone but more like a reminder to myself to take the time and effort to learn and appreciate all fragrances for what they are instead of what I want them to be.

This actually smells better when you are outdoors, in really open spaces. For some reason, when you smell this in enclosed areas, or in your room after you have freshly sprayed it, it smells like a generic white floral inspired perfume. But this is the kind of perfume that smells even better as hours pass by. It is worth the try. You wont regret it. You'll be blown away by your first sniff of this. Haha. This is a kind of perfume that is safe and inoffensive. It smells feminine and there's a cotton candy vibe to it that is not in a very sweet way, which is a good thing for me. This rather smells like a sweet flowery soap. Worth it. CK knows what they are doing. Eternity Summer 2016 is by far the best summer edition of their Eternity line.

I had this in my give away/sell pile...I've been purchasing fragrances like crazy lately and told myself I had to get rid of the ones I'm not crazy about or just don't reach for. I decided to give this one more spray and it is lovely! I get ripe juicy pear and a citrus breeze. It is very light and does not hang around very long but I'm afraid it is going back on the shelf for days I want a springy light summer scent.

With this one you will really smell like you're out of the shower! Put some deo spray and clean cloths on. Thats it ! Very clean smelling, fresh, bit floral but not offensive. I like it. I think this would be a good refreshing perfume for summer like it's supposed to be ;) or for people who simply like to smell clean. This would be a nice scent for a nurse or a doctor.

Not as good as I expected, but why not? Not the best Eternity, but will keep. Smell is veeery light unlike 2007/2008. For someone to smell this they have to be get near you. Smell floral/fresh. I not only expected this to smell better, but for it not to be so light.

A simple light floral scent, likeable enough, but not remarkable. More evocative of spring than summer to me. I will be looking for a rollerball or travel spray for office wear.

Ok I have now decided I seriously don’t not like any Calvin Klein perfumes to me it’s smells like they put the same juice in different bottles. They all smell to me like toilet cleaner Yes they are cheap but in my opinion they should be sold in Poundland. I don’t see how any one can say these and safe blind buys absolutely horrible

I love classic Eternity, but none of the Eternity Summer editions swept me of my feet. Except this one. It is really beautiful, the palm leaf, frangipani (love it), bergamot and pear blossom is an amazing mixture. I wouldn't have thought, that it could make such an exotic combination. Frangipani lasts mostly at the beginning, it is very warm as always, a little bit sweet and lovely. Then the rest of the notes are blended into fresh, breezy scent. I agree that palm leaf here is in the centre of attention. The longevity is weak and it stays close to skin. More like mist than edt to be honest, but it is slightly addictive. I love the opening and can't resist to spray it 2-3 times a day. Clean, calming, makes me think of white colour. More Cold Queen that Bronze Goddess, this is going to be a perfect addition to my summer scents collection.

I love this! I do smell the original Eternity in this (but I love this so much more...not a HUGE fan of Eternity). It reminds me of some kind of candy, but I can't put my finger on it. Of course there's the floral aspect to it, which makes it feel very clean. This is perfect for spring/summer.

So well said by @TheJester420...Totally agree. This masterpiece MUST be re-released ASAP!!! It's the most beautiful perfume CK ever created and I'm glad I still own more than half a bottle of it. So precious! Please, bring it back!

I have no words....Speechless. A perfume from Heaven. Light, breezy, shower fresh, feminine, dreamy. The perfect perfume! So glad I've found it, so sad I can't find it anymore...

When the shop assistant sprayed it on a paper, I said: "vodka"... and "melon" ! But not in negative way - it smelled very nice on my skin and I ́m thinking of a purchase...

I really dont like any of the Eternity Summer perfumes. This one, I LOVE.
