Euphoria Men Intense

So, I came across this uninspected as they were a great deal and I quite like the wording "Euphoria" so I go ahead blind buy. Upon initial usage, It seems like I found another cheapie gem that I really like a lot, almost can say, love. So, it shares characteristics of my other favorite fragrance YSL L'Homme without citrus. It starts where YSL L'Homme left off with Cedar and Vetiver in the middle note. It shares Warm Spices & Fresh spices like Ginger, Basil and Pepper. and utilizing Amber and Patchouli to increase the stronger silicate and long-lasting. I would say if YSL L'Homme decided to go down with the Amber route instead of Lavender Aromatic you could probably get this one. The first blast - I get a sweet smell tricked me to think of Watermelon but it is not a very fresh one. I think it is because of the Amber + Fresh Spice. when it starts to dry down the freshness is almost gone leaving the sweet smell with mild silvery woody aromatic. It lingers in this phase for quite a while before turning into darker deeper smell of sweetness almost chocolatey. However, when it becomes a skin scent it fails quite flat all it gives is mild dark mushy wood with a tint of sweetness. Given the name intense, This works more like normal EDT. Quite strong (6-7 hours + ) with moderate silicate (45 cm. from a person). I see the versatility of use in a lot of cases. It can become one of your staple or dumb reach easily if you like darker-sweet seductive woody spice aromatic fragrance. It can be wared from Day to Night, Casual. It has a unique profile that reminds a of the smell in the modern day. However, I would not choose this as a specific purpose frag as Professional fragrance (a tad too sweet but workable). Nor a Club frag (Too shy to announce but dark enough) or Summer frag (a bit too heavy, Ambery). It fit a unique profile like the Casual & Day to Night scenario, workable in others but has much better options. It will be given you a more refined youngster fun playful guy, a master of the plan. Alluring but still somewhat good. In my honest opinion, I think it is quite worth a sniff. Maybe you might get another budget-friendly frag. Solid 8/10, like it a lot almost love it. ===== Edit 1 (Dec 16, 2022) I write this review early on the journey, for now I feel like I start to fade away from this euphoria. There is strong woody-amber here, the top is pretending to be sort of melon but I think it just strong Amber and some ingredients trick me to remind me melon. I think the part I start to feel that it effected the fragrance the most in not a good way is Black basil like it's kinda have nasty smell to it. I don't really know how actual oud smell like, but I realize I don't like the feel of wood in the dry down (I starts to know my taste that I prefers tonka, sandalwood, teakwood or vetiver). It's so bazaar just a few months in the journey could change the way you smell a thing. Current score 6/10 Personal preference 5/10

A fresh spicy scent with a sophisticated, mild, fruity sweetness. The spiciness is that of black pepper, ginger, & basil. A bit sharp, a bit herbal. The fruity sweetness smells like a woody mango accord. I believe that is the amber-ginger friendship here. As it dries down, you are left with a woody spicy (minty) scent with a touch of ambery sweetness. It reminds me a lot of Hugo's Just Different, despite the different notes. Like one could be a flanker of the other. A lot will find it redundant to own both. And yet again, no oud. Zero. Yet, it is still voted as the top 3 note. Not the first fragrance to suffer from this, not the last. A lot of people on this website vote for notes they do not know how they smell. Do not try Euphoria for the oud because it does not exist here. Back to the fragrance. Bluntly saying it, you don't think of Calvin Klein fragrances when you think of sophistication. They smell nice but are not formal event scents.. ..Euphoria Intense is the exception to that rule. Still, like all of Calvin Klein's, this suffer performance-wise, despite the "Intense" label. You'd get ~2-3 hours of decent projection, then it is a skin scent for a few more hours. The scent is versatile but cool nights seem to be its ideal time. Euphoria Intense remains a very good scent at a very affordable price, that is worth trying. "Love"

So I was really thoroughly surprised with this one. It has one of the best openings that I have come across from any of the cheaper designer brands, and even including some higher end designer brands this holds it's own. I also don't have any issues with performance as I've read on so many reviews below. I got a solid 7 to 9 hours every time I've worn it so far. I really, REALLY liked it the first time I wore it. I enjoyed it even more the second and third times I wore it. However, the last time I wore it, and I also experienced it just now while applying the fragrance, the artificial oud that's used in this can come across as body odor. And this last time it even started to give me a bit of a headache, and that's not a problem that I normally have with fragrances. Now I'm an oversprayer admittedly, and maybe that's why I picked up the body odor issue, because it's only during the first 20-30 minutes of wear that I pick it up. Everything smoothes out thereafter and on the whole I think this is a very solid fragrance that doesn't smell the least bit dated even though it's closing in on being 15 years old. Maybe it truly was ahead of it's time because if this were released today it would be above average, especially compared with most releases from the past year.

So a lot of things has been said about this juice. I can only give my opinion to my surroundings and experiences in regard to it. My first experience was when just browsing some scents in a store with a friend. I asked her to smell a few card and give her opinion. The first few she smelt and wasn't overly excited about. When she hit this one her eyes lit up and she told me to get this. A few months later I did manage to get it and I haven't looked back since. To me this a magical fragrance that captures something in women that still surprises me every time. I've asked a few ladies of varying ages 19-45 what they have thought if it and the replies I have make me smile and laugh all the time. "You smell delicious", "i can stand here smelling you all day" was from my boss, she never compliments my smell and she wanted a bottle for her husband. My fav one was a one word answer from a lesbian "f*ck". It's a powerhouse of a fragrance it lasts all night when I take it out, lots of compliments, and it has never failed me. Only downside is when it's really hot it will evaporate pretty quick. 10/10 for me.

Got a sample of this from Sephora simply because I had never seen it before. I had NO IDEA this fragrance would be so creative, quirky, playful, sexy, seductive, unique, and quite literally... outstanding. It lasts for at least 12 hours, and its projection is perfect. Oddly enough, upon very first spray it smells rather generic (I'm glad I never spritzed this on paper), but then, moments later, the wearer is treated to a deep, intense marriage of chocolate-coated strawberries, tropical melon and yes, perhaps... even peaches; all with a woody, masculine, delightfully restrained spiciness lying beneath. This is the scent of seduction. And YES, it IS quite euphoric. Overall: 9/10 Truly a diamond in the rough and a rare, hidden gem in designer perfumery. Far and away Calvin Klein's best "male" offering, and a unique and special treat for the wearer as well as those around him... or her. I'm so glad my fiancé picked a bottle of this up for me for our anniversary yesterday. We've both adore it, just not nearly as much we adore each other. :)

The definition of understated elegance & charm! Finally, A seductive masterpiece by CK! Its the sexier brother of the original euphoria which IMHO is a day scent aimed for office executives. I applaud the tinted amber bottle design which creates an aura of the mystery man. The befuddling effect it has on ladies continues to baffle me. The opening notes remind you of blissfully sweet & rich fruity muskmelon with subtle spicy tones that captivate your senses. The dry down is pleasantly woody and dark chocolate. It may appear very sweet but it is not at all feminine. Don't douse yourself with it though. It has an amazing projection and great sillage. I have no issues with the longevity either (6 - 8 Hrs). It's primarily an evening/night scent and shall definitely work better in winter/fall.

Just received my first bottle of Euphoria Intense this morning ! first impression : Scent : 9/10 , lovely scent by CK, for me.. it's the best fragrance from CK's house till now. nice amber opening with slight note of gingery vibe there (in a positive way) Mature yet sweet but not to sweet at the same time. superb ! Longevity : 8/10 , still easily can smell the notes on my skin (6hours ++) Silage : 9/10 , soft yet so sophisticated. I mean, this might offend other people if you use it during funeral event / any other event that requires "calm" surrounding. so use it wisely :D overall : 8.6 ! that's an A in college. from today onward, totally a "must there" in my collection. if i'm running out a bottle, i'll definitely going to purchase another bottle ! This is one of Calvin Klein's best. It is a mysterious and alluring fragrance that boasts powerful amber notes. Where Euphoria is subtle, light hearted, and pleasing, Intense Euphoria is dark, ambient, and full of sex appeal. Imagine an upscale hotel room with dark wood furniture, stainless steel accents, and dim lighting. On the floor is a trail of clothes, a fancy suit jacket, pants, and tie. Carelessly draped at the edge of the bed is a little black dress, and a pair of stockings thrown over the lamp. The occupants of the hotel room appear to be absent, but you can hear that the shower is on. A fine cigar smolders in an ash tray near the bed, and an unfinished glass of scotch is leaving a ring on the night stand. This is the essence of Intense Euphoria.

This was another gift I received. I hadn't had much experience with this one until recently and I must say, I do like it. Upon first application I find it's a strong woody/fruity combination. I think what gives it this fruity characteristic is the amber and ginger combination. At the price point, this is a great fragrance. Performance is ok. I got this in a gift set with the aftershave. You can forget about the longevity on the aftershave. It's like 30 minutes. Actually, I just got a compliment on this as I'm writing this. A female co-worker just walked into my office and said, "It smells so good in here!". The scent and the price are great, the performance is average. Nothing but good things to say about this stuff.

I loved the original for several years. I finally got the hard-to-find Intense and was able to wear it. It is interesting. It retains the basil note of the original, but the pepper is gone and replaced with a melon-like note. It also contains even a black orchid-like sweetness, and the solid and bitter that was present in the original is thin. I did not get oud on my skin. I also don't get the bitter-chocolatey stuff. What I get on my skin is sweet melon, basil, ginger, and amber. It's great how they created a deep sweetness and darkness without completely destroying the spiciness of the original. If you like this, I also recommend Pasha noir by Cartier. I think you will like it very much.

Very solid and refreshing offering from Calvin Klein. The ginger and pepper pairs well, aromatic and inviting opening. The cedar, sage, basil and vetiver in the middle is a combination that provides maturity with sensuality. Finally on the dry down the myrrh and labdanum add complexity and a bit of uniqueness. I think this is a crowd pleaser, can be dressed up or down. A bit mature, but not so much for someone in their mid-twenties like myself. Longevity could be better, but the projection is fine for the majority of its life. A cheapie that's as good as more expensive offerings. 7.5/10

This is an improvement on the original Euphoria and I like this very much. It performs well but it's not a monster. It smells sweet, a little powdery and a touch of woodiness to it too! This is a compliment getter that everyone come close to it will appreciate it. It's far from being offensive and overwhelming and I can be worn by anyone at anytime. I think it will perform better in the summertime. I give this a 7.5 out of 10 which is my par for the course when it come to Calvin Klein Fragrances as in most cases performance is average to slightly above average! A lovely scent though!!!

Smells very good. A spicy dried-fruit scent that isn't overwhelming and tart, but rather subtly sweet and comforting. Unfortunately, it's relatively weak in terms of projection/sillage. I can douse myself with 6-8 sprays, and it doesn't seem to get picked up by others. I will say, the longevity is pretty good; you can detect hints of it on your neck for the whole day. Really deep and natural smelling. Sweet but fresh, slightly aromatic, slightly herbal amber oriented fragrance. Consider layering l'occitane Eau De Baux with Boss Bottled.. But this one is much more transparent. Suprisingly high quality. It would be among my favorites, if not for the relativelty weak performance. But don't be discouraged, Dior Homme Parfum is my signature, so anything that I can't smell whole day is weak for me :) Performance of this will satisfy you if you like light, refreshing, and sweet fragrances.

That one was my first love to Amber note (DG the one was my second) they are very similar in my opinion but this one is more fun and youthful it's ginger opening is so cheerful.. Kinda reminds me of that bubble gum sweetness trend in modern perfumery - acqua di giờ absolu for example - But overall I love this one over the one, the ginger and patchouli add deepness and class to it.. And since both are mediocre performs then euphoria is a winner for me Also.. How the hell do u smell oud in that guys?? 😄

I own both Euphoria and now Intense Euphoria and judging by the opening this blows the original out of the water. I almost think this is what the original Euphoria should have been or that it could have been the Eau or Eau Fraiche version to this. Both are good in my opinion and this one is for sure an intense version to the original. This one is sweeter in the opening, overall darker and lasts longer. This would be great for date nights and for attracting women. I give this a 9.3/10

This is a mysterious perfume I think, a lot of different notes in the dry down as It evolves, I think the Patchouli and amber work really well and I like that the pepper smell isn't dominant because a lot of males perfumes have a very peppery smell and I don't find that very attractive where as this is the complete opposite. A big thumbs up for me its different refreshing and has a deep scent that continues to evolve. Each note does its part in contributing to this CK fragrance.

This is a very sexy Fragrance. Dark, smooth, velvety come to mind as well as sweet, powerful, gorgeous. It is one of Calvin Klein's best. I spent a long time at Macy's counter when deciding whether or not to purchase this against a whole bevy of nice colognes. I wanted something different but dark, strong, velvety -- think burgundy and leather, a nice glass of red wine and some jazz...some Spring rain and nighttime...this screams evening comfort...it's nice.

Smells like Halston Man Amber with lots of sweetness added. The myrrh and Amber stand out, with hardly any of that beautiful ginger from the original. I do not like it. I was hoping for a more powerful version of the original, which I love, but is way too weak. Sadly, this one isn't for me. That being said, this isn't a bad fragrance! I'm actually surprised it's not more popular among the snobby part of the community. It has a nicheness about it.

Went to a store and tried for about 6-7 perfumes, i chose the one with the best opening impression. Well this is the one! Long lasting on clothes and simply decent in projection dry down i excellent too...definitely give this a try,spray on air and sniff this one directly with your nose,so elegant... NOTE:my first perfume,i only bought 50 ml cause now i just want to try a whole lot more perfumes.I maybe even re buy this one .

I have to say I love this. It is a notch up from the original, both in quality and in depth. There are those who probably reach for the myrrh, ambergris, labdanum, and oud in this... and there are those who probably relate to it as Cherry Chapstick. No matter. I think the more you wear it and get to know it, the more you discover its depth. It's a great everyday go-to when my favorites would seem a little too heady.

CK's Euphoria Intense is an underrated gem. CKEI smells absolutely brilliant: I get Amber, Ginger, Patchouli, and it smells really smooth. Mostly Amber. Performance is an issue and it lasts about 6 hours for me with so-so projection. With that said, you will definitely get compliments in the first few hours. Everybody likes the smell of this one. Great fragrance and would be perfect but for performance. 9 of 10.

I am a big fan of Calvin Klein fragrances. I have many of them. But unlike the others, I can say that Euphoria Intense is a sophisticated and sensual fragrance at a time. It is perfect to go to social events at night and also suitable for work. The best of Euphoria Intense is that it has a sweet fragrance, but intense at the same time. And finally, passing the hours, the scent gets better and sweeter.

I like to look at this one as a hidden gem. Euphoria Intense actually keeps the original fresh Euphoria DNA, but with amber to make it sweet, and oud to make it rich. a good 2 sprays makes it wearable in the summer, and a full dose of 5 is perfect for the fall and winter. A very versatile fragrance with 8-10 hours on my clothes. I do believe that CK fragrances are overpriced though.

I was lucky that I got this beauty, at discounted price, too. Masculine and very elegant with great longevity, and surprisingly it is office appropriate which I appreciate. Air conditioned environment, mild cool weather and cold weather staple. It's not a beast mode and will not offend anyone, it just sticks with you and completes your elegance.

This was my signature scent for a long time. It used to read a lot richer than it does now. Still, I received a lot of compliments on it. People often asked what it was. It has a lot of deep amber character beneath the oriental notes. I still find it deep and unique, if no longer rich. This one has always been overlooked and under appreciated.

It's funny how Calvin Klein has a bad reputation about their perfumes. The thing is they make a lot of bad and regular perfumes but then they make some jewels like Euphoria intense, Euphoria gold, Obsession, One,Shock,etc. Euphoria intense is sweet, dark and a compliment magnet, woman love it, is cheap on price, you can't ask for more.

A mysterious scent.. You can easily fall in love with it. It lasts long, sensual and fascinating. OOh how sweet,sexy and spicy! Got a bottle a couple of months ago, but never opened it. Until today.. Really love the sweet and spicy ginger and woody fragrance! Two of my co-workers turned their heads and said :wow, you smell good today!! I guess that says it all. Love it! Fragrance: 8/10 Projection: 8/10 Longetivity:7/10 GO get it!

I do not really know how to describe the notes on this bottle. But what can I assure is the smell almost are exactly like the fragrance counter. Personally I really like the smell. But the downside about this fragrance are the longevity and silage at average side even though I sprayed it 5 times.

Lol OMG! This is so great! At start its like 'cigar' with chamomiles. Later it becomes more rich, I can catch caramel- like note if I smell close to skin. It's really nice, a bit sweet and comfortable. I recommend it. It doesn't have too much sillage tho. But stays quite long. Lol @ guest xD

Spicy, sweet, and comforting. This is my go to winter scent that pairs well with many warm scents. I get a nice spice upfront and a mild sweetness on the back end. It's warm but inviting, I love it, my wife loves it, so I'm happy. Scent: 9.5/10 Projection: 9/10 Longevity: 9/10

Grate , Grate , Grate freg , very good projection ( specially when i spared the last few drops in my wore drop , it lasts for 3 days ) , very good longevity also , very good scent , deep , heavy than the original which i had a year ago. P.S. i have a norther bottle !

I believe I left a review when I first got this cologne, not too positive or happy about it. I havent really worn it since I bought it, but these past 3 weeks, I find myself wearing it allll the time, I love it. it has this sexy tint to it. One of my favs now!

Absolutely love this one. I blind-brought this for my father because I loved the notes and so did he. It's just so spicy and smokey, it's classy and sharp but still a little rugged. Love it, will buy it for him again when it runs out!

Euphoria Intense has one of the sweetest smell and notes. I love it, and I think anyone would love Euphoria Intense. But what makes me sad is its longevity. If Euphoria Intense lasts for more than 2 hours I will love it more.

Gold of Fall. One of the best scent by CK. Very elegant and sweet, lovelly scent for fall and winter with blast of amber. My complements factory. Longevity: 5 hours+ Projection: moderate (skin scent) Rate: 8/10.

Currently wearing Euphoria Intense, TF Oud Wood, SL Santal De Mysore, Bond No. 9 Brooklyn and Comme des Garçons 2 Man and Euphoria Intense is the clear standout. I'll just leave that right here...

Sweet, sexy, fruity mixed with dark chocolate(not listed) one girl crossing my way asked me "is that you the one smelling like that?" she smell at me and said "wow it is you, delicious!"

Peach peach peach peach amber amber vanilla etc It's amazing, reasonably sweet, beautiful scent, and is long-lasting enough but sillage could be better. 8/10!

Very Sweet and sexy. No doubt this is the best from Calvin Klein. Smells expensive and extravagant. Love it!!
