Euphoria Solar Elixir

I received a sample of this perfume from my mom, I tried it out and wow, the mango is very strong! After a while, the vanilla starts to become more apparent and smoothens out with the mango, as well as the orchid. But I love the smell all the way through until I can't smell it anymore. It's definitively a tropical sent, and I can see why everybody says that it is. I decided that I had to buy a 30ml bottle, and it was very worth it for me! I think this is the first perfume that I can truly say with confidence that I love. I originally didn't really like the Euphoria bottle design because of the color combinations, but I think it fits very well in yellow! the lid is also strongly attached onto the spray, which makes it feel more secure. I really recommend this perfume!

This is a beautiful Solero scent which has surprising lasting power (I say this as someone who finds that perfumes don’t last). It may be basic, but it’s delicious. I was expecting to enjoy the others in the range more - this is my winner. It bears absolutely no relation to the original Euphoria. I don’t know why they’ve launched these under the Euphoria banner. However, I am actively considering a full bottle of this as we approach summer. EDIT: somehow managed to purchase 100ml of this. No ragretz, etc. EDIT 2: this doesn’t last as well as it should for the price CK are charging for it. 90 mins tops. It’s too basic and others do this concept way better. I’m gifting the last half of the bottle to a friend.

The negative reviews this new trio receives continues to surprise me! Scent is highly subjective, of course, but all 3 perfumes are pretty damn great to my nose. Definitely try them out yourself before writing them off. ;) Solar is a such a no-brainer summertime scent! Fame's dry down leans soapy and dated to my nose, whereas Solar offers a more consistent, albeit somewhat linear, wearing experience. The mango note doesn't disappear, nor is it overly sweet/synthetic. It smells more like an upscale beach side boutique vs. sunscreen. Love it! ** Update 5/22 - All 3 scents layer beautifully with one another as well. Today I'm pairing Solar w/Bold, and it's a delicious combination.

This has been such an easy reach for me! And I like it better than all of the "Reminds Me" section too. It's a warm cozy summer vanilla+orchid+mango. Not super fruity but enough to give some flava. Admittedly when I first smelled this I thought it was nice but not impressive. But tell me why I can't stop wearing it?? Creates a fantastic scent bubble. Very cozy for a summer fragrance. Sweet floral vanilla.

tried this at ulta and the mango note was very strong at first. i don’t normally like super fruity scents but gave it a chance anyway. the dry down is a sort of musky vanilla that i really liked. i layer it with other scents and it’s a huge compliment getter. feels a little too heavy sometimes for hot summer days, and a little bit goes a long way. lasts almost a full day on clothes and all day on skin.

My favourite of the trio travel sampler (close second being the Bold Elixir, purple one)! The orchid is beautiful, it is a smooth, sensual fragrance that I would wear during the day going into a date night. Great projection and moderate longevity. I'm definitely buying a bigger bottle!

This is the best fragrance from the Euphoria line so far. It's more unique than the others, and it lasts and drys down to a soft powdery floral scent. I'd class this as a unisex scent.

This is a very summery fragrance with a strong focus on mango. From the opening to the dry-down, the mango note remains present and continues to be the star of the composition. On clothing, the longevity is around 6 to 7 hours, although this may vary depending on weather conditions and fabric type. Some people compare it to Lattafa Yara Tous, but in my opinion they are not the same. Yara Tous blends mango with coconut, creating a creamier and more tropical scent profile. This fragrance, however, has no noticeable coconut note. Instead, it features a very sweet, rich, and juicy mango that feels more like mango syrup or an amber-infused mango. If you enjoy sweet fruity fragrances with a prominent mango note, this one is definitely worth trying.

Fun, uncomplicated summer fragrance. Easy to wear in hot weather, I get a blast of mango and I am rather surprised at the staying power! It’s been 2 hour since I sprayed and the mango is still prominent, the vanilla makes it a little creamy and pleasant. Some of these reviews have me seriously questioning y’all’s body chemistry, this is a great, juicy, fruity frag!

Mango-vanilla elixir blended with golden orchid and cedarwood essence for joyful energy. 28%+ ultra-concentration for amplified impact and lasting power. So much for advertising on sample card. It is a vanilla with abstract juicy floral note. Does not have much presence on me. Up close it is a warm vanilla glow, but nothing special.

Apparently an unpopular opinion but I really like this! I smell mango on the dry down even hours later, and this wears very nicely on me. A bit linear but a fun spring/summer scent. Not the strongest sillage but wears 6+ hours without reapplication on my skin.

This is beautiful. I smell coconut even if it doesn't say. Good lasting power, 5 6 hours. Sillage is great, ppl could smell me. Love the bottle color. It's a good reflection of is smell. Not close to the original euphoria DNA at all. Safe blind buy. Love it.

This opening is actually beautiful. A ripe juicy mango. But that note doesn't last that long. I am curious on if this will develop and become longer lasting... If so I would definitely buy it.

Kind of smells like if a sunscreen had a beautiful smell. It's a bit basic but it's nice, very summery and fresh.

i wouldn't call it mango, but definitely a hint of something bright, solar, and slightly fruity.

I bought a tiny sample to test it on my skin because it sounded like a nice combination of notes. Well... I am not a big fan, unfortunately. CK Euphoria is a little heavy, but still pretty. However, this Solar flanker smells kind of bitter (?) on me. Overall, it reminds me of Coach EdP, that one with a black leather pendant. Sadly, I don't get the sunny experience I was expecting, and I can't imagine wearing this perfume on a warm or hot day - it would make me feel sick. Maybe the impression would change in the cold weather but now this is not for me since I would like to find a nice spring/summer fragrance.

This Solar Elixir is unquestionably a summer fragrance! Right from the first spray, the mango immediately comes through - it’s an exotic, creamy scent, simple but pleasant. Of course, it won’t revolutionize the world of the many exotic fragrances already on the market, but it will do very well for anyone looking for a straightforward, tropical scent that works perfectly for vacation.

Loved it at the first spray, you get nice fruity - fresh scent, like cutting a ripe mango, but 20 minutes later you are left with nothing but vanilla sugar smell with a woody undertone i just don't like. Reminds me a lot of Yara Tous in the drydown.

It's a fun, non serious fragrance. Great summer vibes, the mango is sweet and fresh. The dry down is vanilla but not overly sweet, on my skin at least. It's ok... not very original but fun.

Travel set of Bold, Magnetic and Solar Elixirs. I'm a Euphoria fan for the most part but this time I was disappointed. Solar was my least favorite. It felt like the stronger notes were just stomping all over the softer ones here. Mango wasn't creamy at all but rather unripe and sharp. I was thinking: What the heck were they doing here??? Mango is not always my friend so maybe it would be nice on someone else. Not me. I'm hoping these need to sit awhile otherwise I wouldn't bother re wearing them.

Disappointment, unfortunately. I LOVE solar fragrances. Love mango fragrances. On paper I thought it was worthy of a skin test. After 30 minutes, it was making me nauseas. I had to find a public bathroom to scrub it off. I was going to blind buy this, I'm so glad I didn't. This is not PR Fame. More like Yara Tous, which I also didn't like.

Initial spraying is a solar note with just a hint of mango and vanilla. Then it transforms into a sharp sour-sweet fruity thing with pencil shaving undertone, like what da heck?😳🤣 The rest of the drydown is an undefinable, but cheap sweet drogerie fragrance for a chunk of money. It didn’t make it through the test phase.

on me is way way too sweet, not very fruity mostly overwhelming vanilla, in the first 20 minutes it’s nicer and more complex but only up close /: to me it could be its own perfume bc it has nothing to do with the original euphoria

Sickly sweet candy scent. I honestly didn't get any mango or fresh / fruity notes. Powerful sillage, I would avoid in hot weather or closed environments. It does last for at least 5-6 hours with good projection.

I don’t think this smells like Fame or Alien Goddess at all. Not even close. Alien Goddess is gorgeous, this is not. To my nose this smells like a cheap body spray.

The sillage when worn on clothes is long-lasting and will leave a soft, personal impression. I can’t wait to try the other fragrances in this new line. Without at all looking at the notes beforehand, I had the fun of testing Solar and its siblings at Ulta today. The trio is colorful in aspect and rather shiny - the formulation is quite shimmery for the first few minutes and seems to be moisturizing. None of the three is a huge powerhouse such as the original Euphoria. All of them are clearly related. Of the three, Solar lasted best on my skin and therefore seems worth reviewing. It's also (IMHO) the prettiest, though Bold Elixir (the purple bottle) seems a runner up. I don't prefer Magnetic Elixir (the pink bottle), and in looking at the notes this is not surprising. Ambrette and I often don't agree - it's somewhat 'fresh' and harsh smelling to me. The only scent I can compare to Solar is the (admittedly more unique, more interesting, more sweet) GOLD SUGAR, now discontinued. But Solar - esp. if you have nothing like it - is not to be sneezed at. No aquatic notes - just warmth and slightly tart/sweet ylang ylang and florals and amber..... Orchid makes sense, even though that wasn't my impression, because I love the note in general. If you enjoy ylang ylang or a yellow orchid type of scent, Solar might be your treat. Though quiet now, hours later one spray still lingers nicely on my scent eating skin. Again, an enjoyable testing experience. :)

I wouldn’t say this has a fresh or slightly tangy mango in the slightest. The mango in here is sweet, there is no hint of green-ness, it’s similar to the scent of an Asian honey mango, but just the pulp inside, not the skin. The mango lasts for about 2 minutes (although I wish it lasted a bit longer) then a floral-vanilla floats, that makes this scent feel less ‘gourmand’ to me and more like a sweet floral. The Cedarwood anchors the vanilla, just stopping it from becoming too sickly. As somebody who doesn’t usually enjoy vanilla gourmands, I think this is decent. Would actually consider wearing it, maybe at night on a summers day, when it’s not too hot, and there is a cool breeze in the air.

This is a basic fruity fragrance but in the best way. The mango is very well done, and absolutely the major note in this scent throughout. It is very fruity but this is balanced with a woody (almost ever so slightly incense-y) scent to me, with some slight creamy sweetness from the vanilla. Definitely not too youthful. I really don’t get any orchid which I am thankful for. This is a great summer scent but honestly, it’s an all rounder that you could wear at any time of the year. It’s basic enough to be part of a great layering combo in all seasons, day or night. A genuinely nice fragrance.

I had the chance of smelling this today at Boots. It is very fruity, you get a hit of mango when you first spray but then it dries down into a vanilla which is nice. This is definitely for the daytime and it fits right for the spring season. It definitely smells similar to Kayali vanilla candy rock. I don’t usually check for Calvin Klein fragrances but this fragrance got my attention. And I can still smell on my wrist 4 hours later.

Mostly synthetic mango. If I wanted a good mango fragrance, I'd rather reach for Miu Miu or the new MM Replica Chasing Sunsets. What I get here is a very sweet, fruity, candy-like fragrance. Despite the name, I don't get much in the way of sunny or solar notes, so if that's what you're after, you'll be disappointed. For me, it's a pass. After trying several of them, I've realized the Euphoria line just doesn't have my name on it.

If the opening of Magnetic Elixir made me think of sugared cranberries, Solar Elixir has "tropical fruits on the beach" opening. It does not smell like Mango specifically. Overall, both are fruity florals, with slightly muddy Musk that also has the notes of shampoo, artisanal wool sweater, sweaty skin on the beach and salty solar notes. Not memorable at all. This is my favorite of the new line up. OG Euphoria is so sexy- these are def for a younger crowd, but I find the solar elixir is the only one with a teeny bit of that euphoria funk! Maybe it’s just the mango, but behind the wall of sweet sweet vanilla is this slightly dirty accord. Maybe the mango has been sitting in the sun for a while. It’s pretty delicious, albeit conventional and safe

Starts off with sunny, juicy, and uplifting mango and citruses, and that's the part I love the most. 🤤 There's a hint of tuberose in the background, which is nice also. Unfortunately, it dries down to some generic, JPG Scandal sweetness and this is my least favourite part. Love the bottle colour 😍💛💛

Wow! This is so beautiful. The mango is juicy and fleshy smelling! I love it. The sillage, projection, and the lasting power are all outstanding! The orchid is creamy and brings the manga and mango and vanilla together. So addictive.

It's not unique but the burst of juicy mango is gorgeous. Dry down is generic perfumy vanilla but has great lasting power. Reminds me of 00s Escada, sometimes you just want to smell pretty.

Cute juicy mango, dries down to a familiar floral vanilla. Long lasting and projects well for the first few hours, my favorite from this line.
