Sheer Beauty

I was so very lucky to find a 1.7 ounce bottle of this amazingly beautiful fragrance on ebay for under $15 USD. It was a blind buy, but based on the notes, as well as the reviews here, I figured there was a very good chance that it would be a successful blind buy. I had no idea what an amazingly BEAUTIFUL fragrance this truly is! On my skin, from the very first spritz, I am bombarded with what seems to be the largest, most beautiful, overwhelmingly fragrant bouquet of flowers I can imagine. I'm not able to discern which flowers are in the mix, and I'm not able to smell any non-flower notes that are listed - not even the vanilla, which I usually always notice first when it is part of a fragrance's composition. This glorious perfume makes me feel like I am surrounded by this perfect, delicious, fresh, soft bouquet, like a bride on her wedding day. For me, this is the best of the best of a fresh flower scent that surrounds me and protects me from the world while I bask in the rapturous scent. I am truly in love! Highly recommended to anyone who loves flowers-only fragrances. My only complaint is the longevity. Within two hours of spraying, this fades to a skin scent, sadly. Not too sad, though, since it is available online at a great price, I just bought another, larger bottle, so I can spray it on every two hours if need be! I truly intend to keep this beauty at the front of my perfume collection for the rest of my days. 10/10 for this incredible fragrance. It is such a beautiful flower cocktail that I'm wondering if this is what heaven smells like!

VEILED Jasmine RESISTANCE. This non-perfume perfume, opens with a light, fruity burst of multi-faceted bergamot with nuances of peach-bellini, that transitions to a floral heart of peony & jasmine, resting on a musky vanilla-wood base. Additionally, on the skin I get beach-bellini and pencil shavings, and in the air I get the lily. This is overall a very light, fresh musky jasmine grandiflorum scent (not a peach-bellini scent along the lines of Heiress Paris Hilton), and the peach-bellini here is much quieter than the notes would suggest. Average performance for a light summer wearing experience. Contrast to Beauty Calvin Klein: These are different, but there is a similar DNA with jasmine. Beauty (OG) has a jasmine that's less shrouded in softening notes. Beauty outperforms. Contrast to Dior Addict EDT: These are different, but there is a similar vibe here with jasmine. DA-EDT has a deeper jasmine sambac and a bolder approach with above average performance in contrast to the light, fluffy & 'sheer' approach of Sheer Beauty. Contrast to Body by Burberry EDT: These are different, but there are similarities with fizzy peach over tea/pencil-shavings. Body EDT has a bolder approach with well above average performance, whereas Sheer Beauty has a lighter, fluffier vibe akin to Glossier You or Light Blue Dolce&Gabbama for a light summer wearing experience. Overall: Beautiful sheer scent for light summer wearing experience, this is the perfect scent to wear for a sit-in or when practicing passive resistance. Enjoy!

What a disappointment on this fragrance!... The first 5 minutes were so promissing that I thought this could be the perfect fragrance for me. Very soft lovely floral, elegant and romantic. Just perfect! The problem was, after 15 minutes it was almost gone and half an hour later there wasn't even a trace of it. It was like it never existed. I do like soft, subtle scents, but wearing Sheer Beauty or nothing it's pretty much the same thing. I think this fragrance is obscenely expensive for the time it lasts, and according to other reviewers it seems that I'm not the only one. I've worn supermarket colognes that lasted longer. Perhaps an EDP worked better... Other than that, the brief moments that it lasts, it's a lovely soft and elegant floral, innocent and inoffensive and suitable for all ages that can be worn anytime and anywhere. Edit: I received this as a gift and I have to update my review to be fair with Sheer Beauty... The 1st time I tried it was in a particularly hot day. Some notes are rapidly absorbed by our skin when it's too cold while others (especially flowers) evaporate too quicky when it's too hot- this is exactly what happened that day. This is a scent for spring, early summer, early fall, a fresh summer night, a warmer day in late winter. It can't be too hot or too cold, otherwise it won't last. In the right temperatures Sheer Beauty lasts around 5 to 6 hours. It still wouldn't hurt if it lasted a little longer, but still much better than what I previously thought.

I'm not sure if this only comes in an EDT, but I'm reviewing the EDT. This is a lovely hot weather scent. It is so clean and fresh and light. The citrus notes are almost peppery when you first spray and it is quite strong when you first put it on. The sillage shrinks to a skin scent after about 3 hours but the perfume actually lingers on your skin for the whole day (Even though it's an EDT) after that. I love the bottle and smell which is addicting. The dry down smells quite different from the opening, all the citrus disappears and it is subtle, slightly sweet, and feminine. I enjoy every stage of the perfume. I do need to reapply because of the sillage, even in the heat, but it's not expensive where I live so I think it's worth it. Although I like it a lot I'm not sure if I would buy another bottle (although I'm getting through my current bottle fairly fast). I also suspect it will completely transform in cooler weather, I might update this review then. EDIT: It is not very different in the winter. It's still beautiful. It feels extra crisp and fresh in the cold.

Another blind buy for me but this time I actually waited a day before giving my review so I could see how it lasted. I have to say that I think this is one of the prettiest perfumes I’ve ever smelled. When I first sprayed it I wasn’t sure about the fruity tone but as soon as it settled in it was the prettiest floral you could imagine. I usually spray myself with perfume before bed and let me tell you I kept getting whiffs of this all night and it was just beautiful. Same thing when I was at work today. It’s light enough to not offend others at the office but I could still smell it on me all day long (although I did touch up a little here and there). It has great sillage. I definitely see this being my every day perfume. I’m definitely getting a bigger bottle as soon as possible because I see myself going through the 1 ounce pretty quickly lol.

This was a blind buy for me. I heard a great review on YouTube and decided to pick it up--this was a few months ago. My first impression was it was way too light. I decided to wear it for the first time this past Saturday. As I sprayed my skin, I thought: meh! Then, shortly thereafter, the magic happened. It became a powerhouse of a clean, bouquet of white flowers--so different from the ambery-musks that I naturally reach for. I wore this to visit my Auntie in the hospital and to an early dinner. I really enjoyed it's projection, longevity, and its ultra-feminine vibe. My husband complimented me on this fragrance, as well. I really love this! Beautiful packaging too.

After 2months since first opened *I have the silver cap bottle design, not clear.*: this truly is a sheer beauty. Such a non offensive youthful Charming casual all day summer fragrance. Below average projection and sillage but I think that's what defines this beauty. Was Lightly present on my skin for around 6h but found this works better when settled for atleast a day on clothes (smells breathtakingly divine when fully developed on bedsheets!). I like to wear this in summer especially near the shoreline, opening is quite sharp but all worth it. What a fitting name.

I agree with MegKaybeee. It is all I want from Chanel Chance eau tendre and it is much more beautiful on my skin. With Chanel Chance, I can't take the smell more than 10 minutes and it gives me a headache. I sprayed only once at the store and I can't stop smelling my wrists again and again even though I can smell it now and then. Also reminds me of Dior J'adore maybe due to how it develops on my skin. It is weird because I think Chance and J'adore are totally different! :D

Es uno de mis favoritos. En mi piel es muy floral al principio y cuando se seca es dulce y amaderado, es muy íntimo y se siente cerca de la piel. Me encanta usarlo para reforzar recuerdos positivos en primavera o verano. Amo usar perfumes de esa manera, después abres un frasco y tienes recuerdos maravillosos gratis. Podría ser un perfume inofensivo para la oficina pero ES TAN DELICIOSO que se merece más que eso.

Sheer Beauty is very lovely. It's fresh and not sharp. Peach bellini is very dominant from the first spray until the drydown plus some nice flowery smell. I sense some hint of citrus, maybe bergamot. Actually, I didn't expect much from CK since they always launch new scent every years. Sheer Beauty is an exception. It reminds me of classic flowery smell from 90's, not outdated just beautiful for every woman.

First whiff i thought of Juicy Couture, but then this was more youthful and vibrant! The bellini stands out, and on the drydown, the magnolia lingers. It stays on me for 6 hours, and it is great on a cold day. On a hot day, it disappears after 2 hours, my body moisture kind of dilutes it somehow. But overall it is my go to scent. Not annoying but very lovely and classic. Im 54 and i love it.

i've got this for my second anniversary. my husband think this fragrance is very seductive and perfect for our sexy time. in my opinion, husband like it then spray it on. however this fragrance remind me of charlie white from revlon but this one is more on the softer side. if you want a cheaper version you should get charlie but if you want a better longevity you should get this one.

The first time I smelled this I thought it was a really nice floral scent, reminded me to change eau tendre. I thought it could be a safe office perfume. However I did not tested it on my skin. Fast forward a week after I bought this, I'm not getting any florals from it, just a sharp alcoholy smell. Reminds me a lot to Alfred Sung Shi which I hate.

Got this tested today and it really smells lovely and creamy. The only problem is this is too quiet and meek. Sits really close to skin, no one will notice you're wearing a perfume! Not even you! Unless you sink your nose where you sprayed this on. Reminded me of Burberry The Beat. What a waste really.

This perfume somewhat reminds me of Chanel Chance Eau Tendre for its cuteness of the scent(and the bottle). Somehow I would choose this Sheer Beauty over the Chance ET for how it is more complex, and has more depth. The longer I wear, the better the scent turns to. This is my holy grail of all time.

Sheer Beauty has many elements that I really enjoy: a light fruity tang, a hint of florals, musk, and in the drydown, a pleasantly sweet vanilla that rounds out the scent, giving it a soft, feminine feel. This variety makes it intriguing but also versatile enough for everyday use.

I pop this on to feel fresh and clean. It is light and inoffensive. It is a shape-shifter throughout the day becoming cozier near end of wear. Very much dryer fresh. When I have this on, I get whiffs here and there and think "oh my gosh who smells so good!" It lifts my mood.

Pretty close to a an idea of a perfect scent for me :) I wonder why I haven't tried it before. I blind bought it. But I love it. Fresh and sharp, but light, not offensive and not overpowering. Not "sickly fresh". For me the citrus and peony comes through. Lovely light scent.

I tried this one at a mall yesterday and I couldn't resist sniffing my arm for a very long time. About longevity, I think it easily lasted for 4-5 hours or more on my wrist. It is indeed "Sheer Beauty" . I will be gifting myself this heavenly scent very soon .

Citrus and floral. Perfect clean girl scent, easy reach for summer and spring. Has elements of the Chance range. There is nothing offensive here. It lasts a decent amount of time. I really enjoy this and for the price, I have no complaints.

So so clean, a little squeaky clean if compared to its creamy clean Beauty sister.. I don't discern any particular notes except maybe a touch of green in an otherwise clean floral. Clean and shower fresh, airy, reliable, 6+ hours longevity

Very fresh, soft fragrance yet very feminine. Never thought I'd feel so attached to this. Love it now. This is the kind of fragrance that you give the personality to it and make it special to yourself.

I'm in love. The scent is so delicate and alluring. Sweet but not overpowering. Fresh but not citrusy. I would make it my signature scent but its lasting power is terrible. Gone within an hour or so.

A very clean, slightly sour - fresh smell. It's not a strong smell - better for summer and spring. It's an everyday perfume and it will make you feel light, sophisticated and fresh. I love it!

Spa-like, sweet/sour, tart - pink lemonade derivative perfume, it has a "just out of the shower"- freshness about it. This is a perfume which resonates as youthful but not juvenile. I agree with some of the other reviews, this doesn't smell exactly like the Chanel line of fresh scents -- but it is still in the general genre of softer, less intrusive perfumes which can be worn in the heat without it feeling as if it is something that is overly cloying. This perfume is a non-linear perfume that "evolves" - it moves from one fragrance, into several other fragrances as it moves into the dry down phase. The dry down phase to this perfume is AMAZING! I wish that this stayed in this same range during the whole process, but I love the unfoldment, witnessing the way that this evolves over time. The dry down of this perfume is actually better on me than even the original Beauty by CK (which I have recently fallen in love with - for spring/summer wear, the jasmine in that perfume is really fabulous - particularly when it is warm outside - or wearing while exercising). Don't prejudge this perfume - it takes awhile to blend on the skin. The first hour of wear, is not as good as the dry down. The dry down of this is truly fabulous. ------------- The very first minutes of this, the reviews are right, this smells like a chemical fog (never make the mistake of judging a perfume by the first 20 minutes after you spray, always give perfume a chance to blend into your skin and see how it evolves). About 10 minutes into this -- this starts to have some really nice soprano notes that begin lifting from the skin, giving this even more life than the original Calvin Klein Beauty. So far, so good. ------------ Surprisingly based on the other reviews, this has pretty good performance and this lasted 5-6 hours without needing a refresh of any kind. As this wears on my skin, this became much sweeter... gone was the first bog spray smell. However, this has a couple of notes in it which reminds me of Calvin Klein's Obsession perfume (when I figure this out, I'll let you know) - and that is not blending in with my chemistry. I like certain aspects of this perfume, but the overall fragrance chord is turning into something that is giving me a headache in the early stages of the dry down. This could just be me, there are a lot of people that really like this perfume. ------------- The final phases of Sheer Beauty are quite nice, this has a lovely sweet floral chord which does a really great job lasting on my skin through the final phase of the dry down. There is something about this perfume that pulls it out of the category of "pink lemonade derivative" perfumes. The peony is not over done in this perfume, it is more well blended than a lot of other "pink-girly" perfumes. I like the final phases of this perfume, but I'm not sure that I can handle the Obsession perfume notes that pique out the beginning of the dry down phase through the middle of wear. This is where the perfume goes a bit more "spicy"... than "sweet". I have not tried this side by side with Estee Lauder Pleasures, but this is in a similar "family" as Pleasures. Calvin Klein Sheer Beauty is a bit less floral than Pleasures -- there is more of a sour/fresh type note in CK Sheer Beauty than Pleasures. Pleasures has more aldehydes in the first hours of wear -- it is more floral and feminine than SB. Sheer Beauty is more neutral -- more in line with a perfume that is refreshing, clean, just out of the shower -- and yes, more "pink lemonade". Sheer Beauty is slightly more feminine and "pink lemonade" than CK's Beauty - which leans more like a fresh, just out of the shower - cedar/birch spa smell. I like both perfumes for different reasons -- and they could be worn to different events depending on your mood. ---------- Overall, I much prefer CK's Beauty, that blends really well with my chemistry. What I really DO LIKE about CK's Sheer Beauty are the high notes which cause this perfume to lean more in the direction of a soprano perfume, with still some grounding alto notes. (This is a slightly higher octave than Calvin Klein's Beauty - and Estee Lauder's Beautiful. If you haven't tried Calvin Klein's Beauty, you really should - it is really GREAT ON! Sheer beauty has some very nice moments - and I really like the way that it ends in the dry down phase. I can see why so many people like this perfume! ------------- For those that wear CK's Obsession perfume really well, you may actually enjoy the mid-note spicy notes. Just because it doesn't work with my chemistry may not mean that it isn't good on yours. This is why you should always try perfumes on, wear them awhile, then figure it out! ------------ Analysis of the Mid Point that smells like Obsession by CK - Ingredients of Sheer Beauty: Sheer Beauty was launched in 2012. Top notes are Bellini, Bergamot and Red Berries; middle notes are Peony, Jasmine and Lily; base notes are Musk, Sandalwood and Vanille. Ingredients of Obsession: Launched in 1985. The nose behind this fragrance is Jean Guichard. Top notes are Vanilla, Basil, Bergamot, Mandarin Orange, Green Notes, Peach and Lemon; middle notes are Spices, Sandalwood, Coriander, Oakmoss, Cedar, Orange Blossom, Jasmine and Rose; base notes are Amber, Incense, Vanilla, Civet, Musk and Vetiver. Ok, the common notes are: Jasmine Vanilla Sandalwood Musk Midway through the wear, something is going on within this part of the blend that is going too "spicy" - exactly the same base notes in Obsession that doesn't work with my chemistry. ------------ Verdict: This perfume is in such a beautiful bottle - looks lovely. I love the dry down of this, but I can not make it through the mid point where this turns into a lighter version of CK's Obsession for about 30 min to an hour. This part doesn't agree with my chemistry, it gives me a headache. There is an after-shave note in this that makes this lean more masculine. I don't like that for my personal perfumes, it is too masculine for me to wear as a perfume. There is something in this that reminds me of Elizabeth Arden's perfumes in the Untold line which were inspired by the Chanel Chance line. That was not a good blend with my chemistry either, after sampling it for a longer time period. --------- The final hour of this dry down is such an amazingly fresh smell. I truly LOVED that part of this perfume. If this perfume were more linear where it started exactly like the final phase of the dry down - and ended there, I would probably like this as much as the original Beauty by Calvin Klein, and possibly more. This perfume has potential. I truly LOVE the dry down to this, it is a total WOW! This perfume lost me when the Obsession notes and more masculine aftershave type notes started to make an appearance - in the middle of wear (I like aftershave notes on men, but I do not like wearing perfumes that have any type of aftershave ingredients in them. I'm over perfumes that lean so unisex that they are confused with men's colognes. I still want to smell like a lady, even though some of my preferences for perfumes are strong with presence. The aftershave notes are not my scent profile, but I don't mind them on men - as long as they are not over done (For an example...Old Spice is OVER THE TOP... a hard pass). I liked the pink lemonade quality of this perfume - but when the Obsession notes surfaced, this was just WAYYYYY too much for me and even gave me a headache. This would definitely be a perfume to try if you like a perfume that leans slightly masculine, but ends feminine and fresh. This perfume is basically "just out of the shower - fresh" with the pink lemonade vibe. The dry down to this was heaven on earth! Truly fabulous. You are ONTO SOMETHING with that! I'd love to see more fragrances in that general profile. This is definitely a clear cut direction to explore further.

I definitely do see how people get toilet spray from this but only in the initial spray, after a few minutes the dry down is softer and warmer and reminiscent of some cheap playboy stuff I wore in my teens, it’s a very safe perfume and would be a safe gift for a young person, it’s playful and soft without being grossly sweet like most perfumes targeted at teens. I got this as a gift and didn’t think I’d like it at first because I usually steer clear of white/fresh and citrus fragrances, and cheap perfume in general. I better suit and am drawn to soft floral, and sweet, warm, fruity scents (even better if they’re all combined) that are a little pricier and this perfume is none of those things. Sadly my favourite perfumes all smell terrible in the heat and I’ve had so much trouble finding a summer fragrance I like. I’ve found this perfume is a lovely medium for summer, it’s safe, soft and light, not overwhelmingly citrus/fruity, it’s a true white fragrance but not too sharp or too powdery. Longevity isn’t anything special and neither is the overall depth but for $20 for the bigger bottles you get your money’s worth. While I feel a little old for this perfume it will definitely do me over until I settle on a nicer summer staple.

I can't decide about this one! While I do like it, it's a little bit sharp, citrus, and bathroom cleanser-y up front. But, on the other hand, it's very refreshing -- almost sparkling -- and on the edge of yummy (belini!), with plenty of bergamot and peony. I almost feel like I smell grapefruit or yuzu or some other very sour/tart citrus, as opposed to bergamot, and I definitely don't smell lemon or citron. Within half an hour, the sharpness up top dissipates and you're left with a really pretty, almost creamy, drydown -- like orange creamsicle, but with a more sour citrus like yuzu or grapefruit. If you're a fan of the grapefruit note in Coco Mad, and enjoy Bright Crystal, you may really enjoy this one (I actually don't own either of those but still like them). I'm going to live with Sheer Beauty longer before I make a choice one way or another, but I have a feeling she may grow on me and be especially lovely come summer... Edit: Yes, I've really grown to like/love this one...!

I do like Sheer Beauty better than the original, although I definitely don't like it enough to buy a bottle. It's basically a simple, light jasmine scent brightened a bit by tart fruit and anchored by warm musk and sandalwood. Surprisingly, it isn’t sweet. I was expecting, from the bellini and red berry notes listed, that this would be on the sugary side. But the bergamot and peach bellini actually add some nice tartness. The jasmine is still the most prominent note, as it was in the original Beauty. Many CK scents have a slightly masculine, cologne-like feel for me, and this is no exception. While I have to agree with the majority here that this fragrance isn't anything exciting, I do think it's better than the original Beauty (which I found to be extremely bland and screechy). Sheer Beauty has a citrusy bite and slightly masculine drydown that make it a hint more appealing.

This perfume is just perfect- floral fresh, juicy and slightly naughty (I mean the presence of the Bellini). The opening reminds me Chanel Chance eau fraiche. The drydown is warm and sensual without being vulgar. The bottle is gorgeous- thick, solid, rosy glass. The shape makes me think about the shapes of women. A pure, clean design. A wonderful simplicity which reflects well this scent. The only minus- the staying power is quite weak on me. It's like a young,beautiful bride -light, dreamy, innocent and blushing, but with some very hot and naughty fantasies she would like to fulfill. In the morning she's getting married, in the afternoon she's celebrating, dancing and enjoying the life, but in the night she is showing all her love and fantasies to her beloved.

A very light fresh scent that will not drag you down as the sun grows hotter. Blasting lovely red berries and bellini it lingers on your skin for hours, blending well with your wardrobe which could be easily either casual or business. One for a woman on the go. The dry down is a clean powder that sets into the skin six hours after first spray. It still smells clean on my wrist and I tested it this afternoon in the department store, went home, washed my hands and dishes and clothes! I believe women of all ages can wear this one. It is not suggestive or overtly sexy, not a fragrance with an assertive ego of itself. It blends into whatever you want to make of it. Won't be buying this one due to the cost but hey, if you own it and love it power to you!

Got a 100ml bottle on sale at a fragrance outlet. Soon grew bored of it but still managed to make my way through the bottle. As I work in a large organisation, I use to gravitate towards perfumes that wouldn't make my colleagues feel like they had to hold their breath. Now I don't care lol. It is definitely as noted, a 'fruity floral', and a very wearable one at that. However, I would soon stop smelling it literally after spraying so I was never sure if I was spraying too much. That being said, I would get compliments on it even though it was no longer detectable to myself. Not a memorable scent so definitely not one to repurchase or yearn for after trying it, in my opinion.

I have been waiting to test Sheer Beauty for a long time now and I was excited to see it today in a store. The scent was exactly what I was expecting: soft, nice fruity floral. And as I tought from the notes already: VERY similar to Mariah Carey`s Luscious Pink. They share the notes bellini, bergamot, pioni, musk and sandalwood. The different is that LP has Tiare flower and Lily of the valley. And SB has Jasmine, Lily and Red berries. I don`t really smell the berries, so I don`t think I would separate these two easily... That beeing said, I really like this! It`s not a masterpiece or original, but very lovely and easy to wear. I might even get a bottle...

I get Bellini, watery peony, jasmine and white musk. Wore this a couple of times and both times it disappeared then returned to haunt me like a friendly ghost. At one point I thought 'who smells so good' then realized it was Sheer Beauty back again for round two. Fresh fruity florals like this one are a new genre for me because I hadn't tested any perfumes for a long time and I have to say that I'm pleasantly surprised by how much I like them. Unlike other reviewers I don't get any sandalwood or other woods from this at all. Zero. Zilch. The bottle feels like holding a large smooth pebble from the beach and I like the shape and how easy it is to handle.

I have tested it in perfume store, This perfume is very linear and simple, Pure white flowers with Musk plus a little amount of sweetness fragrance this is what I had smelled only. I think this is safe choise and acceptable to majorty of people, you can buy it blind buy. Very cozy easy to wear. very suitable to wear during the day, in Summer and Spring seasons. لقد جربته في متجر العطور، هذا العطر خطي وبسيط للغاية، زهور بيضاء نقية مع المسك بالإضافة إلى كمية قليلة من الرائحة الحلوة، هذا ما شممته فقط. أعتقد أنه اختيار آمن ومقبول لدى أغلب الناس، يمكنك شراؤه شراء ً أعمى. مريح للغاية وسهل الارتداء. مناسب جدًا للارتداء أثناء النهار، في فصلي الصيف والربيع.

Fresh, flowery scent that is like a sheer blanket of fragrance so I think they named this well and it's very affordable. - This is a great touch up spray during the day or to spray when you are fresh out of the shower. - Amazing if your office has a strict perfume policy because it can go by undetected it even when I spray generously. - Great guest perfume for your bathrooms as well so you won't have to worry about sharing your expensive bottle of perfume - Can use as a car air freshener Probably won't repurchase (due to lasting power obviously) but there are ways to make this work. I hate wasting perfume plus it's very inoffensive and pretty :)

I am pleasantly surprised with this scent, its not something I would usually go for im a gourmand lover but my mum gave me this so thought I would give it a go as first sniff didn't offend me. Wearing it is lovely it has a playful sophistication about it which I enjoy, usually any perfume with musk in it, the musk will be screaming on my skin and in this it doesn't, I enjoy the Bellini and jasmine and lime that plays together the lime cuts through the floral but just enough so that either of the notes don't give me a sore head so all in all this works with my skin chemistry really well it is a nice happy and playful but sophisticated scent.

Sheer Beauty is as it's name suggests; a sheer fragrance that is lingering there, but never loud. It somehow has a sweet perfumy menthol mouth freshener quality to it, probably from the belini (not bad in any way). The freshness comes with hints of floral and touch of fizzy fruits (mostly peachy). After some time, the fragrance develops a dry cold fresh powder quality. Best during summer; not at all suitable for winters. I feel it projects better in heat as well. Perfect easy reach all occasions type. I do receive compliments when people come close. A 'like' not 'love' ; safe gifting option.

The first time I tried Sheer Beauty earlier this winter I found it a bit too citrusy on my skin, and the sharp opening notes kind of cheap smelling. But then I received a small sample of it a few weeks ago and on the second try fell completely in love! I still find it a little sharp the first few minutes after I put it on, but after that, ohhh...so lovely. It's a soft, creamy, melts-with-the-skin scent on me. The peony note is the most apparent one to my nose. Unfortunately, like many others have said, the lasting power is not very good on this one. Otherwise it would be close to perfect.

Come on people: Vaporizes fast?! I can smell it hours and hours later. Very musky and musk has a tendency to linger hours on my skin (and to my nose). Similar to Chanel Chance eau tendre?! Never would have imagined those two connected. I have both, Can't see any similarities except the color of the liquid. If you can't smell a perfume on yourself, it doesn't mean that others don't smell you. Also, there is an old saying: If you can't smell the perfume you're wearing, it means it's the right perfume for you!

I really adored the scent of this fragrance for day wear, so I think it's both good and bad that I bought 50ml on impulse, because it just wouldn't last on my skin. I bought Sheer Beauty when it first came out and I would've repurchased if it'd lasted longer. The middle and base notes are usually a success with my skin chemistry. The vanilla didn't really come out and in Spring I didn't want that either so I was fine with that and Sheer Beauty was mainly a soft, fresh floral and not sweet on me.

Someone described this as a creamsicle, and I sortof agree. The citrus scent is more of a sweet citrus, rather than a floral one or just a pure lemon/bergamot. In theory I should like this, and I do - I don't have any complaints other than it's just a little too sweet and basic. I'm still making my mind up about it, and I'm curious to see how it does in the spring and summer. I got a small bottle for about $17 at Ross. Edit - this has been growing on me. Very light and yummy

I like this fragrance. For a blind buy with the expectation for something fresh fruity and floral its good. However, it lasts so little. The first spray its good, it put a smile on my face. For ladies who live in hot places like me, you want that out-of-the-shower, fresh scent around you that its femenine and stays. This fragrance is so soft and fleeting that if it had more power and performance it could be a daily scent but its more of a cologne to spray while I'm inside.

I blind bought this scent because of the comparisons to RL Glamourous which I miss very much, but unfortunately this is nothing like it. Not sure where the Luscious Pink comparisons are coming from either. This is far less sweet and musky. On my skin I I get fresh and gentle floral opening which eventually dries down to a scent very similar to Contradiction except it’s more airy. Overall a very easy to wear scent that goes well with any occasion and any weather.
