Bellini

Absolute vacation-in-a-bottle! Bellini is a sparkling, fun, beachy fragrance that is incredibly easy to wear. It's perfect day and night during hot weather and it can be a great antidepressant on gloomy days. This fragrance is designed for fun; it's not any kind of scent masterpiece. However, it provides bright, pure enjoyment for a very reasonable price.

Frangipani, peach and orange blossom combine to create an odd artificial coconut smell. Very pleasant but reminiscent of suntan lotion and pina coladas. Wear this to a resort bar when you plan to sweat and dance--neither subtle nor sophisticated. Meh.

My mother had this fragrance when we lived in Florida before we moved out to Malibu California. I always loved this fragrance on her but it might have more to do with the climate the humidity and warm tropical weather in Palm Beach Florida and how it makes this fragrance stand out on the woman that wears it. This is a perfume that is nostalgic for me and not too old a modern vintage with some nods to white floral tropical perfumes like Jungle Gardenia or Chanel Gardenia. This has a fruity floral body. Top notes are citruses with orange, grapefruit, along with further fruit notes of apple and peach. The freshness is like a cocktail with alcohol. There's a peach Bellini type of booze quality to it. If you've ever had a peach Bellini you'll know what I mean. So juicy and boozy, exotic, tropical. Like sitting on a chair by a pool in a hotel in the Caribbean or the Bahamas. The heart is mostly white floral with frangipani otherwise known as tiare or Hawaiian plumeria. The frangipani is very nice here and reminds me of a more mature version of Siren by Paris Hilton which also has the same notes as this fragrance! This is a delicious orange blossom and orange flower as well. The gardenia is exotic but never too cloying or too mature. It is mature only in that it is so white floral that it doesn't exude the sweetness of a young teen girl. The white florals also include freesia and jasmine. Somewhere in there there's a milky coconut that smells just like coconut's insides of coconut water and the edible part of the coconut's innards. The scent is more tropical than I could ever imagine a fragrance to smell like. The dry down is amber very nice with a teensy bit of musk. It turns into a sort of warm sun tan lotion. A getaway to the tropics, a vacation fragrance to wear on a cruise that sails through the Caribbean, a perfume to put in your handbag to spritz on in Aruba, or a Florida and California beach wear scent. This is a summer time day wear fragrance of sweet fruity goodness. I love it.I wish I could get my hands on it but by the looks of it it's been discontinued. Very sweet and soft at the same time. For woman only but I like to have this on my skin. Spring-summer scent mainly but wearing this in hot temperature is ok too. Very cheap (60$) for a 100mL! 7/10
