Sweet Candy

Fresh lemonade with candies, imagine the green & yellow ones 🍬 not sweet, but sparkling fresh It suits summer wear.

I smelt it in-store at Winners. Very few perfumes have made me go from appreciative to full-on disgusted as quickly as this one. This Sweet Candy perfume blind-sided me, and few do. The opening? A pleasant vanilla sweetness (probably the cotton candy note). I thought I was in for a treat. For five glorious seconds, I thought, “Okay, maybe this is a hidden gem.” Then Five seconds later I’m hit with a sharp double-mint + lime mojito accord that punched me right in the nose. Ten seconds later, I was frantically scraping my wrist, muttering, “What combination is this??” I generally dislike green/mint/fresh notes, but I’ve smelled perfumes that balance them beautifully. This was NOT it. The sweet and green notes clashed hard, more like a fight than a blend. With a name like Sweet Candy, I expected a variation of Velvet Candy, and I got a sugar-coated mojito gone more sour than the green skittle. This could have been a skittle scent and be better! 🤧 To those who say they even enjoy this... I’m respectfully, bombastically side-eyeing you 👀.

I think this brand house if im not mistaken is trying to dupe Kayali! perfumes?. I might be wrong who knows. And this one in specifically is imitating the Lychee! one, but with a twist with different notes. Im a guy and i finally use it and 1st day of using it it got some attention. I went to an appointment that day and after im done when im making my next appointment, the secretary next to the one who was helping me said the following: (hi there sorry to interrupt, but jesus i must tell u i think its u who smell amazing. Because ive been here all day and nobody that has walk through those doors have smell like that. Ive been going crazy trying to figure out where that smell was coming from. It must be u cause since u walk in and she open the desk window to check u in, i said to myself oh whats that smell? its soooo good. And now she open the window once again and is u standing there. it must be u. What do u have on?). I blush and laugh and i told her the name of the fragrance but i didnt remember the house brand name. So i took it out of my backpack and let her know. She said: (wait hold on im gonna go and write that down before i forget. thank u). So the perfume left its mark and did its own thing. It gave what it needed to give. And it was me for sure, cause before the appointment i put a LOT. And while i was waiting in the waiting room to be called, i once again drench myself with it lol. I like to reaplied. I think the name it suits the perfume. Is like a mojito candy mix with cotton candy.

I think this is trying to copy kayali lychee. But this is way sweeter with cotton candy. Not lychee. I got compliments ☺️. Projection is 8 hours. Sillage is beast mode. Run to winners i got this for only $23 such a steal.
