Vamos Leather

Similar to Tuscan Leather, but with a more pronouced Amber note. One of the best bang for buck fragrances I own. I picked it up from TJ Maxx for 12 bucks.

I had this, I have to disagree with the reviewer below me, they have Ombre Leather dupe called Mirada Shield Black Leather that smells much closer to OL than this. It does smell like Ombre Leather in the same way that Tuscan Leather smells like OL. I actually gave this one away to a friend, it had am almost metallic smokey note in it (possibly saffron) that I didn't appreciate so much when I compared this compared to Shield Black. I far prefer Shield Black Leather but I stopped wearing that after I got more serious about collecting and have gotten the real deal TF plus a back up since I got these. This is a decent little $13 Tuscan Leather clone in my opinion. It has a good scent profile but smells inferior to Rasasi Yuqawam Homme, with the trade off that this costs half as much as the Rasasi. Longevity is okay, 6 hours or so. This is definitely not a Summer friendly fragrance. I would give it a 8/10 considering the price to quality to performance ratio. DISCLAIMER: These RVL Brands: Camara, Mirada, Monarch, Amaran, Mouj, BPI (it's all the same company, you can tell by the RVL Brands sticker on the bottom of the bottles), they are very hit or miss. Don't believe all of the review scores because I'm pretty sure they voted up their own scores. Smell them for yourself too, because I have encountered pretty huge variations in some big batch difference from one store to another of the same fragrance.

Ok, so first off, I think the company is submitting a lot of fake reviews on longevity and the fragrance it compares to. You can see the same numbers of scores across most of their new line. This is NOT a Tuscan Leather clone. I have Tuscan Leather and love the scent, but not the price and am always looking for a close and inexpensive alternative for day to day use. This is WAY closer to Ombré Leather. That’s not a knock, Ombré Leather is a great scent and this does a good job mimicking it. Tuscan has a noticeable raspberry note, and there is no hint of that in Vamos Leather. Now as I compare it to Ombré Leather it definitely smells as such on the initial spray, but boy this stuff fades FAST! Like dollar store scent fast. I applied 5 sprays, and it smelled good. Then it started fading away. Thought I was going nose blind at first. Then after about an hour my wife came home, and I asked her what she thought. From 3 feet away she said she couldn’t smell anything. I had her smell my arm and she said it was faint but she could smell it. So yeah, this stuff doesn’t last. Then sprayed this on tester strips along with Tuscan and Ombré and she agreed that this was much closer to Ombré. It’s not a bad scent. It’s not a bad presentation. Just understand what you’re getting. If I were you I would save my money.
