White Haze

Opens like Tobacco Vanille, has some interesting nuances of Initio Rehab in the drydown. I love both of those frags, TV is an absolute classic for cold days and Rehab is the pinnacle of Spicebomb DNA. Sandalwood is not listed in the notes, but the drydown has a beautiful sandalwood and cedar that smells straight out of Rehab. Longevity is good, not great: clocking in at about 8 hours with strong protection in the first 2.5 hours. Arms length for hours 2.5- 6 Skin scent the last 2. Unisex for sure, but leaning slightly masculine. This is slightly more versatile than TV as it's airy and lighter in comparison, the tea, davana, and ginger give some repose from the deeper darker notes, so I could see this being used on cooler spring days. Really high quality and blended so well. I think it's extremely overpriced at about $120-$150, they have constant bogo half of on the retailers that we'll it which tells you this should actually be a $70-$85 fragrance which I think would be a fair price for the performance you get. You could definitely do much worse if you want the TV DNA. This is definitely high quality, but the performance is a little disappointing for the price from a no-name perfume outlet "exclusive" designer label. Amber Oud Tobacco Edition is a much better value at $30 for a 60ml and it has beast mode performance. Tldr; a beautiful, high quality, more versatile interpretation of TF TV, a little lackluster in the performance when you consider the price (~$140). It would be a 94/100 if the performance was better, but I will still give it an 87/100

This reminds me of Lattafa Khamrah, but smoother. It's definitely gourmand and spicy. Almost like a chai tea latte vibe to me. Absolutely stunning smell. It's what I wanted/expected when I ordered the Lattafa Khamrah. No harsh opening that burns my nostrils out and better executed. Although it lasts a good while and projects well, I don't think it lasts/projects the way the Lattafa does. I still love it and highly recommend it though.

Wow, so yummy. I havent smelt anything like this. It smells just like a sweet Chai latte. Definitely picking this one up for the fall.

Free sample from a discounter website. Truly one of the worst in performance I have. Sprayed this on, had an hour long appointment and when it was over, it was barely a skin scent. In any event, it doesn't smell very good so I'm glad it goes away fast. It smells like moldy vanilla and cigarettes.

Full disclosure i only tried this once at a random mall fragrance shop. If you take a tobacco Vanille clone (with the vanilla notes dialed up), smooth it out, and add a very nice supporting hum of white suede/ashiness (to my nose, neither note is listed but there’s some sort of accord at play), you get this. My favorite take on the tobacco vanille DNA to this point. Unfortunately, you can get ~85% of the way there with a $15 Marshall’s fragrance. The performance on me was moderate. I sprayed it on in the evening at around 7, became a pleasant woody vanilla+honey (honey is finicky on my skin and this was nice) skin scent after maybe an hour or 2 but I did get random wafts of sillage into the next day ~16 hours later. I’d imagine applying after showering and moisturizing would very much improve its already decent performance. Can easily be worn on cooler days and evenings year round, I personally associate it with fall from the chai/rootbeer/dried fruit accord prominent in this DNA. Overall, despite not spending much time with this one, it’s made enough of an impression for me to write this random review a month later. I’m a sucker for this DNA, and I’m not sure how it gets any better than this. Unfortunately, $140 is wayyy too much for me when I can get something comparable for around 1/10th of the price. If it does hit the gray market for around $50 at some point, I’d have a hard time not grabbing this one.

Yup, this is TF Tobacco Vanille first on, with the spicy vanilla wood, then dries down to smell more like a good Tihota clone. More vanilla than TV by far and I like it much better. It’s really nice even with a suggestion of screamy woods way in the back, but the price seems kinda high for what it is. Still, considering a purchase.

If you want tom ford tobacco vanille but can't afford it, GET THIS. Not a disappointment. This is so similiar but the dry down does have a matcha tea nuance , this is so amazing guys Coming back to this, ginger and thyme really come through more with honeyed nuances 🔥
