Forgive Me

I'm actually incredibly wow'ed that I'm making this my new signature scent. As Persolaise described it, it's a tuberose with body, white florals, with dark patchouli. Also, Monika Cioch's fiance noted that this fragrance better suits the name of 'Absolute Aphrodisiac' than the one from Initio (which I've also tried but was not a fan of) and I wholeheartedly agree with his statement. To me, if it were a color, it wouldn't be a solid one. It'd be iridescent with deep violet, burgundy, and magenta hues. The bottle's color looks like what it'd smell like. It's blended so smoothly right from the initial spray, even. Silky and dirty patchouli, but I feel that it's done in a way where it's carefully chosen. But on 30min dry down, I fell into more in love with it. I couldn't stop sniffing my clothing and my arm for the whole day. There's a tiny hint of plastic, not artificialness, but it's personally very addictive, and the tuberose and the gardenia smell hypnotic. On my sleeve, the fragrance gave off a dewy and almost misty, foggy, rain-like scent. On skin, the camphoric, sweet, and incense-like patchouli came through a bit more with it's effervescence. As in, it felt icy on skin but still warm due to body heat. :) I'm so pleasantly surprised!!!! I get a feeling that it's reminiscent of night flowers in full bloom. And as for my bf's first impression, he really loved it and even had a carnal reaction to it. Not to mention, it totally reminds me of Megan Fox in Jennifer's Body or Vanessa in The Little Mermaid LOL. It lasted all day on me and only needed like 2 sprays to begin with. Despite it's name, it's pretty unrepentant -as in, "sorry, but I'd do it again'. A sadist disguised as a saint, remorseless, divine, nocturnal, siren-esque... all those words and more! 10/10.

So beautiful, sexy and mysterious. True femme fatale scent. To me it's tuberose and gardenia with incense, patchouli and pink pepper. It has a bit of a vintage vibe which makes it even more sophisticated, but still remains undoubtedly modern and unique. If I didn't know what it is, would have thought it's something from Amouage of Chong's era. Though, disagree with the votes here that it's similar to Portrayal woman, I have and love both Forgive me and Portrayal but they are different from each other. The longevity is excellent, 6+ hours on skin and near eternal on clothes. Very feminine. It is quite pricey, but it smells and looks expensive and totally worth it for me. Could be a perfect signature scent if the price is not the issue, as it can be worn any season and occasion, depending on the amount of sprays used.

Full on white floral that achieves something remarkable by staying relatively unisex by today’s standards. Opens with a burst of citrus and orange blossom freshness into a tuberose gardenia heart a slightly tamed version of Harry Fremont’s Tuberose Gardenia for EL. Some mentholated aspects of CF onto a ever so slightly earthy and more woody patchouli base. Provençal Chic a la Chanel’s Boy. Carine’s latest two releases are moving this house into very serious territory. It might not be moving mountains in terms of creativity but it bangs aesthetics head on to nail a certain persona. I appreciate this pinpoint precision of achieving a fragrance that compliments a certain style way more than an amazing yet abstract creation.

Glad I'm not the only one not picking up on orange or orange blossom. But I love the contrast of buttery classic tuberose and gardenia with spicy pink pepper and a bold patchouli incense. This is blended so well that the 4 main characters are synchronous, not fighting each other for dominance. Leaves a sexy trail. Simply a gorgeous fragrance, and that's saying something because I'm so picky about tuberose. As it dries down more fully I get occasional light wafts of ylang-ylang, too. Like I said, there's a sexy, sexy trail on this one. I can actually smell the patchouli. Think I might need this! Heading to look at bottle prices now...✌🏻

This is the most sensual perfume on the market! It's so Tubersose (yes, it needed a capital letter), which is unusually paired with orange blossom instead of the usual jasmine. You absolutely *must* let this dry down for at least half an hour before exhibiting it, after which the orange blossom regains a bit of its power in this scent. If you want to knock folks dead with utterly sacred femininity (and you are brave), I very highly recommend layering this with Safanad by Parfums de Marly. Trust me, you will get compliments and questions. Absolutely stunning!
