Forgive Me

I'm actually incredibly wow'ed that I'm making this my new signature scent. As Persolaise described it, it's a tuberose with body, white florals, with dark patchouli. Also, Monika Cioch's fiance noted that this fragrance better suits the name of 'Absolute Aphrodisiac' than the one from Initio (which I've also tried but was not a fan of) and I wholeheartedly agree with his statement. To me, if it were a color, it wouldn't be a solid one. It'd be iridescent with deep violet, burgundy, and magenta hues. The bottle's color looks like what it'd smell like. It's blended so smoothly right from the initial spray, even. Silky and dirty patchouli, but I feel that it's done in a way where it's carefully chosen. But on 30min dry down, I fell into more in love with it. I couldn't stop sniffing my clothing and my arm for the whole day. There's a tiny hint of plastic, not artificialness, but it's personally very addictive, and the tuberose and the gardenia smell hypnotic. On my sleeve, the fragrance gave off a dewy and almost misty, foggy, rain-like scent. On skin, the camphoric, sweet, and incense-like patchouli came through a bit more with it's effervescence. As in, it felt icy on skin but still warm due to body heat. :) I'm so pleasantly surprised!!!! I get a feeling that it's reminiscent of night flowers in full bloom. And as for my bf's first impression, he really loved it and even had a carnal reaction to it. Not to mention, it totally reminds me of Megan Fox in Jennifer's Body or Vanessa in The Little Mermaid LOL. It lasted all day on me and only needed like 2 sprays to begin with. Despite it's name, it's pretty unrepentant -as in, "sorry, but I'd do it again'. A sadist disguised as a saint, remorseless, divine, nocturnal, siren-esque... all those words and more! 10/10.

So beautiful, sexy and mysterious. True femme fatale scent. To me it's tuberose and gardenia with incense, patchouli and pink pepper. It has a bit of a vintage vibe which makes it even more sophisticated, but still remains undoubtedly modern and unique. If I didn't know what it is, would have thought it's something from Amouage of Chong's era. Though, disagree with the votes here that it's similar to Portrayal woman, I have and love both Forgive me and Portrayal but they are different from each other. The longevity is excellent, 6+ hours on skin and near eternal on clothes. Very feminine. It is quite pricey, but it smells and looks expensive and totally worth it for me. Could be a perfect signature scent if the price is not the issue, as it can be worn any season and occasion, depending on the amount of sprays used.

Full on white floral that achieves something remarkable by staying relatively unisex by today’s standards. Opens with a burst of citrus and orange blossom freshness into a tuberose gardenia heart a slightly tamed version of Harry Fremont’s Tuberose Gardenia for EL. Some mentholated aspects of CF onto a ever so slightly earthy and more woody patchouli base. Provençal Chic a la Chanel’s Boy. Carine’s latest two releases are moving this house into very serious territory. It might not be moving mountains in terms of creativity but it bangs aesthetics head on to nail a certain persona. I appreciate this pinpoint precision of achieving a fragrance that compliments a certain style way more than an amazing yet abstract creation.

Glad I'm not the only one not picking up on orange or orange blossom. But I love the contrast of buttery classic tuberose and gardenia with spicy pink pepper and a bold patchouli incense. This is blended so well that the 4 main characters are synchronous, not fighting each other for dominance. Leaves a sexy trail. Simply a gorgeous fragrance, and that's saying something because I'm so picky about tuberose. As it dries down more fully I get occasional light wafts of ylang-ylang, too. Like I said, there's a sexy, sexy trail on this one. I can actually smell the patchouli. Think I might need this! Heading to look at bottle prices now...✌🏻

This is the most sensual perfume on the market! It's so Tubersose (yes, it needed a capital letter), which is unusually paired with orange blossom instead of the usual jasmine. You absolutely *must* let this dry down for at least half an hour before exhibiting it, after which the orange blossom regains a bit of its power in this scent. If you want to knock folks dead with utterly sacred femininity (and you are brave), I very highly recommend layering this with Safanad by Parfums de Marly. Trust me, you will get compliments and questions. Absolutely stunning!

When I first sprayed Forgive Me I felt it probably wouldn’t last long. And might feel a little weak. Well it lasted a good 10 hours and I kept getting sniffs of it all day. A beautiful lux perfume which you could wear when dressed up or even when it’s a t-shirt casual day to just provide that lift of something special on you. The patchouli that lingers on clothes hours after spraying is so delicious. I’m really impressed with Carine’s perfumes and I feel it’s a really special line and worth the investment.

Rich b*tch boss lady scent. When I smell this i picture Demi Moores character in the movie Disclosure. Complete opposite of my personality but I love to spray it on when I want to feel a little more powerful and a little naughty.😈 Not blind buy safe. Gotta like patchouli.

I’ve been wanting to smell this for a long time. I finally got my nose on it at Bloom Perfumery tonight. I cannot believe no leather is listed in the notes. I get a dirty white floral with leather, perhaps some of the indoles within the floral notes are giving off the leathery nuances. Either way I liked it. It is very sultry, womanly and beguiling. Nice work Carine!

White floral bouquet, with tuberose dominant as she always is. What brings this over the line beyond everyday wear is the patchouli. It's dirty, but still green. Pepper and incense are just accents. A romp in the garden mid evening!

It’s a carnal and sexy tuberose with a strong projection. It’s quite sweet and spicy, but also has a slightly indolic (dirty and animalic) nuance. I’m not a huge but it definitely smells very expensive and extravagant.

Forgive Me by Carine Roitfeld features tuberose, gardenia, and woody-resinous notes. The distinctive touch of Dominique Ropion is recognisable here. More than many other fragrances, it evokes images of nighttime and bad intentions. Perfect for those seeking a tuberose-gardenia fragrance with a hint of depth and undeniable sexiness.

Weird opening. I can't get the image of a dental clinic out of my head. A smart one where they try to keep the patients calm by some judiciously placed diffusers. It doesn't work - the patients are neither calm nor entranced, just aware that they've just spent a lot of money on some not very good cosmetic veneers. Dry down - finally some flowers come through, but they're on the turn and need to go on the compost heap. I got fragrance-reviews-on-line hyped. Shame on me.

this smells like a yassified mothball

I purchased a sample after seeing a review of how sexy this is. From other reviews below I see I'm not the only one. I was excited to try it but sadly its not for me. It has a rotting flower smell mixed with after shave. Its very strong and doesn't easily wash off. It does remind me of something I have smelled before but can't place it. Maybe something from an 80's perfume counter.

Yess to the person below!! Monica Coich? Not sure if I spelled it correctly..her bf often reviews his fav of her collection. And I really love his reactions!! I’ve bought a couple due to his reaction and I’ve loved them!! I bought blind but I’m waiting for it to arrive! Haven’t been this excited or seen notes like this in such a stunning bottle in a while! It’s giving 80s strong naughty scents and I’m here for it!

The top notes on this are near nonexistent. I get a heady tuberose and pretty immediate hit of patchouli. And my goodness it is strong and austere. The person who would wear this wants to make a statement when they enter a room, they "power dress" and demand to be taken seriously, and they never say "Forgive Me."

Forgive Me is a cool, gothic floral perfume. It smells like camphorous tuberose and ylang ylang flowers on a heavy base of damp, wet soil. The camphorous tuberose and patchouli blend (that's also found in Quattro Pizzi) is not the type of tuberose that I like, it's too earthy and dark for me.

I saw on you tube the boyfriend of a parfum you tuber describing this as the most sexy, sensual, memorable parfum he smelled and he thinks there is no man on earth do not like this on their women. I wish I could try this

Smells like frankincense. This is a simple office scent. Nothing sexy about it. It also appears to be made of modern perfume chemicals that I'm slightly allergic to. I'm not allergic to old fashioned perfumes.

smells very aldehydic despite not being listed and very much like a chanel perfume, and the orange blossom is very nice and smooth. I dont like strong o.blossom scents, and a bit spicy, and subtle ylang

Persolaise put this one on his top 10 favorites from 2023... So, its must be pretty good
