Everyone’s talking about La Playa, and I totally get the hype. But the scent that completely swept me away from the brand is Bo-Bo. It’s not your typical beachy fragrance, but it’s incredibly fresh, bright, and as airy as a summer sea breeze. Before I looked up the notes, I couldn’t really pick them out, but the scent felt deeply familiar — like something from childhood, though not childish — and almost like something I’ve been searching for all along. It’s citrusy, but not sharp or overpowering — it’s softened. It’s sweet, but only just a little. It’s slightly green. It’s clean, soft, and comforting. I saw some people here saying it smells like dish soap... Either I’ve completely forgotten how dish soap smells, or you guys are absolutely nuts 😄 Yes, it has a sense of cleanliness, but it’s not soapy or detergent-like in any way. The opening with the blackcurrant isn’t 100% my thing, but the dry-down is gorgeous. I actually think it reminds me quite a bit of Valaya Exclusif in the dry down.

I absolutely love this. It's perfect for summer. I'm very sensitive to any soap in any fragrance - I don't like most MFK Cologne Forte's and 724, I don't like most of Guerlain's Aqua Allegoria's, because I feel like on my skin any soap gets amplified tenfold. With Bo-Bo it's not the case. This is the perfect clean hair smell - fresh, renewed, elevated, but very long lasting, especially on clothes. This doesn't read to me as cheap or boring at all, quite the opposite. I wouldn't call this a safe blind buy, but i do recommend you try it out. For the full experience, listen to Bobo by Mariah Angeliq and Bad Gyal when you wear this, for the complete airy, summery experience.

For me, it's a feel-good perfume. Youthful, playful, sexy. It gives the impression of sunny days, active emotions, the joy of communication and the warmth of the sun. A great summer perfume, but also suitable all year round. I have had compliments from people who say it smells like their childhood, flowers and all the happy times. Just a good perfume, youthful :) There is no drama in the perfume, just good vibes.

This perfume has Armani code (female, eau de toilette) vibes written all over it. However it’s softer, warmer and somehow a bit more cheerful - I like it more! Wouldn’t label it unisex though, as it leans more feminine. Inoffensive, good quality, seriously considering buying a full bottle.

idk what the guy beneath me is on about, this has nothing to do with pacific chill. this is clean aldehydic citrusy fragrance nothing like pacific chill, its way better imo i love it, great after shower and bed time scent.

To me this is very similar to Byredo Blanche... But better. This is what I thought Blanche would be.It's bright citrus and dryer sheets. I love it! It's super clean and very happy!

This reminds me of Sinoricci 2 by Nina Ricci, sadly discontinued. A gorgeous freshie. I've been wanting to find something like it for years. This might just fit the bill.

I forgot how much I like this one. I agree it is a warm weather scent. It has a very clean smell - the Musk really stands out. Great fragrance. I love this house.

Bo-Bo is a refreshing citrus scent, somewhat cologne-like in structure but with some non-traditional elements. It has a surprisingly salty drydown, evocative of the seaside, and a non-aldehydic soapiness throughout. Clean and unisex, it is pleasant but ultimately underwhelming, and its performance is somewhat lacking. Bo-Bo has a bright orange opening, refreshing and realistic, seamlessly segueing to the orange blossom note at the heart. Bergamot tempers it with tart freshness, followed by a nice non-sweet blackcurrant note, complementing the fruity opening beautifully. As with Costarela, the opening is the best part, and it runs out of steam as it dries down, fading faster than it should at this price point. As it develops, the aforementioned orange blossom comes to the fore, sweet and heady but not syrupy in the manner of its appearance in designer fragrances. Powdery, clean white florals round it out, providing a nice base to the citrus accord. I get some lily-of-the-valley, adding a fresh green tinge to the florals. This green undertone remains as it develops, subtle and sheer, but enhancing the citric-floral accord nicely. It is quite soapy as it dries down, watery and clean but with a chemical quality to the florals that remain - it becomes sunscreen-like here. A hint of woodiness thanks to the vetiver is evident too. A whisper of musky, salty amber is evident as it fades, alongside soft, woody vetiver. It fades fast, dully aquatic at this stage. Sillage is moderate and longevity is weak. A unisex hot weather scent, Bo-Bo is inoffensive but insipid. The drydown leaves much to be desired, and the performance is not impressive, especially given its price point. I'd choose an inexpensive classic cologne over this any day. Meh. 2/5.

Jardin D'Amalfi is stronger than this one and more long lasting, I don't like it much either. BO-BO smells like lime and orange peels with musk and slight white flowers aroma on my skin for the first 2 hours. I find it faint but screechy, not my cup of tea. I like a juicy lime, not the screechy peels. I would not reject it if I got it as a gift, it's perfect for summer and people actually like it, gets compliments. But I just... I don't enjoy smelling it myself till it really dries down. For this longevity, I rather use Pacific Lime from Atelier Cologne which is more juicy or even Light Blue Intense. What I liked about this perfume is the final dry down, after 3 or 4 hours, even if it is a very faint aroma, smells very elegant citrus that I've never smelled before. Just because of the dry down I changed my score from 3 to 4 here on fragrantica.

Surprisingly nice from a brand I generally avoid. Sparkly clean opening, no realistic citrus, more so bergamot compounds that give an ethereal bright opening with some sweetness in the mix. Underneath a very clever assortment of linen like floral compounds and clean soapy white musk. However it never goes into full on fabric softener territory, rather stays in the less overpowering and airier freshly hung clean white laundry vibe. Good longevity, which makes for a very effective cleanly experience for those looking for a fresh out of the shower vibe that doesn’t smell like spray deodorant. Surprisingly something I may pickup if I can get a good deal on it.

love when people say it smells like _____ and it smells nothing like it. someone said that it smells like imagination in the dry down which is so far from the truth. also the "smells like dish soap" is wild too. as soon as something smells remotely clean its also got to smell like dish soap or cleaning spray... as someone who buys only clean/fresh fragrances this is a really nice scent although it doesnt blow me away and is pretty weak. i probably wouldnt purchase a full bottle but i will gladly use the sample!

Bo Bo is a great summer, fruity citrus scent. I mainly get mandarin, orange flower and some black current. For me musk is there in the background and softens the citrus notes. I bought this specially to layer with Mandorlo by Via Dei Mille (as noted by the previous review, Bo Bo isn't exactly unique) but layered with Mandorlo it smells absolutely divine. The only downside is that wear is low to moderate and it becomes a skin scent very quickly but I suppose during summer heat that isn't necessarily bad.

A very soft floral-citrus. A little soapy. Very easy to like. Unisex, but leans just slightly feminine. A spring scent. Very light, and puts you in a good mood. Does certainly not stand out as unique, but if you want an uncomplicated lovely spring-scent that's very versatile, I think this is a very good choice. Coming back to edit four years later. Who am I kidding? I love this fragrance. Such a clean and optimistic spring scent. I love this.

Must be me, right? Imagine my disappointment when after enjoying a bright, citric, juicy and addictive opening, another 3 sprays were needed within 3 hours! One of the most gorgeous openings that is a huge compliment getter but based on the feedback on Frag, my dry down experience is uncommon - at least among those in this particular base of wearers. However, if the longevity were improved, this frag would achieve legendary status.
- em inglês
The initial spray is very nice, refreshing citrusy sweet but as it dries down it turns more and more into dishsoap. I am not sure I would want a FB of this.. it smells like I just cleaned the house so it's not bad but would I want to go out of the house smelling like this? Not sure
- em inglês
Blind buy after seeing some reviews.. It is fresh but sadly it feels a bit generic fresh to me.. Not bad just nothing special in this. A pleasant smell.
- em inglês
Fresh, a little salty/sunscreeny in the dry down. Like a mixture of washing powder and sunscreen, with the salt from the sea.
- em inglês
Clean, citrusy, floral. Similar vibe to Pacific Chill by LV.
- em inglês
The drydown is reminiscent of LV Imagination's

I also agree this is underwhelming for Carner, especially not at this price point, so glad I only got a sample. It's not very unique, none of the notes stand out and it is well-blended but overall to me it smells like fresh shower gel and not much else, I think it was meant as a crowd-pleaser but it's way too generic. It does not project, sillage is poor, it kind of reminds me of D&G Light Blue Forever (not the OG, it's more green and aquatic than that one) so it's just a nice fresh fragrance. In some was, it is similar to Carner's Sal Y Limon which is currently my number 1 perfume ever, so save your money and get that one instead.
- em inglês
Again something underwhelming from Carner. Some bergamot & white florals, which are just not my jam. It's refreshing for hot weather I guess, but cannot get over how generic it is to me. Drydown is quite soapy, and it smells like a regular soap, not the fancy one. In this vein I'd rather go for Jo Malone's colab with Zara freshies (Vetiver Pamplemousse, Fleur d'Oranger etc ) - which have more zest to them, there is something about Bo-Bo that reminds me of this collection, so I think price wise it's better to choose one of those.

Gift sample from bloom perfumery Covent Garden. Thankyou. One spray on hand as have a cold and headache. Lasted hours on hand. For me it’s good, unisex but would like to smell this on a man. It’s vetiver heavy to me. Reminds me of my guerlain nerolia vetiver forte except this is lighter and fresher whereas that is more intense and earthy. Carner fragrances are always safe. I wouldn’t buy it as it’s not a love but will see how this develops over time.

Nose Note #782 It's basically the 4711 DNA (or Neroli Portofino, if you like), but made slightly more modern and to my nose more feminine. So nothing exciting at all and not much else to add, just read the 4711 or Neroli Portofino reviews. There are so many other offerings that do the 4711 DNA, the difference is the price. The performance is barely average. 5.5/10, just OK stuff
- em inglês
I found this to be a rather light scent. Not very long lasting. Fresh, simple, suitable for spring/summer. I mainly just get the orange blossom, some citruses and a light musk. I was left underwhelmed by this scent.
- em inglês
I'm working my way through a discovery set of this brand. This is the 4th in the box and the 4th one to have this flat bottom layer of something papery and muddy. It's really jarring.
- em inglês
Purchased this as blind buy and I am in love. It is the perfect summer scent . In initial spray the citrus bomb hits you. Photorealistic as if cutting through fresh lemons and oranges while the juice sprays in the air. After 30min the citrus becomes less zesty and becomes fresh (almost salty ) . The white flowers really come into play after 30min but the citrus cuts through them keeping it fresh and light ( not like a granny floral) . Overall I find this to be more feminine leaning and definitely worth having in my collection for a fresh but elevated summer scent

When the temperature rose two days ago, my quest to find a summer scent began. The citrus notes in the Carner Barcelona Bo-Bo perfume came to mind, and I purchased a sample. I smelled a yummy orange immediately, which I liked. The green notes in the dry down surprise and intrigue me. I smell freshly cut grass and plants growing in a shallow pond. This green aquatic note is unique and will help me stand out from all the other citrus scents this summer. I find it more feminine than masculine. There is a delicious sweet tanginess -- ah! Wonderful!
- em inglês
Unexpected! To me this smells so much like powdered laundry detergent. And I kinda love it. I knew this was a laundry like scent but I thought this would be much more citrus based. It isn’t ’sharp’ at all (which is a common complaint from me for citrus based scents). This is suuuuuper well rounded with powdery laundry musks and orange blossom with just a touch of sweetness. Moderate/intimate projection, but GREAT longevity.
- em inglês
Smells a bit too much like a dishwashing soap... some kind of detergent.. similar to the liquid that you can blow bubbles with. Not a bad smell just too detergent-like to my nose. Personally I think Marbella is the most likeable offering this house has. None of their fresh scents seem to have any sillage or longevity but this is the strongest of them. Creates a small scent bubble and lasts better than their other freshies.

I'm in heaven! So beautiful, so gentle. I just unwrapped it and I can't wait to write how amazing it is. I bought Summer Moon in the summer, but it wasn't mine at all. I ordered this one and refused it twice, because of the bad experience with the other perfume. Nothing in common. It brings a feeling of purity, freshness, a very delicate sweetness. Hopefully it's durable. I'm in love!!!
- em inglês
One of the best summer scents on the market. It opens with a huge, bright orange smell with white flowers. Unfortunately for my nose, it is very heavy and strong, might be the flowers, so it's a bit hard for me to wear it, expecially in summer, and i feel like it leans slightly feminine... But that's just personal, overall this is a banger, juicy floral bomb!
- em inglês
This is in the vein of Tom Fords Neroli Portofino, but the floral aspect in this is much smoother. The dry down is this floral musk with some sweetness that’s very beautiful, a spring and summer gem. Always try before you buy. And this is probably in my top five of spring fragrances of 2022. Scent 8.5/10 Performance 7/10 Compliment factor 8/10 Uniqueness 8/10

Smells like a TEAL bubble bath WITH the rubber ducky floating around 🛁🛀🐤 It’s soapy but not too fresh, it’s scented . I like it. Something nostalgic about it. I swear when I was a kid there was a bubble bar or something that had this smell. Sweet neroli/bubbles/shaving foam/ laundry/lemons. Very complex for a clean category
- em inglês
I love the opening, juicy and bright citrusy, but after 10 minutes it turns so soapy and vintage smelling on my skin. It reminds me of the handsoap we used to have in elementary school. I dont like it :( It also turns into a skinscent very quickly. My favorites from Carner: Marbella and Super Moon
- em inglês
Really nice pleasant bergamot and orange flower dominated, musky drydown frag. There is a mild rubbery element to it for me, although my sample seems a bit old to be fair. Might also be the vetyver. Other than that, Bo bo is a fairly fitting name as it's a bit bo-boring. Nice though!

Hallo, Sole di Positano Acqua brought me here. I cherish my bottle and since it has been discontinued I' m in the search for an alternative. If anyone has tried them both and can confirm their similarities, it would be very appreciated to let me know 🙂 (you can PM me if you like)

This is a brilliantly executed Spanish supermarket eau de cologne, the ones that you buy by the gallon, but made into a perfume. It transports me to childhood in Spain. It's very innocent and cute. Surprisingly lasting and projecting power! Well done, Carner.
- em inglês
I purchased the Bobo cream which, btw, is excellent. The fragrance definitely has that citruses warming in the sun Mediterranean flair. Vetiver in the base keeps this scent from being overtly feminine. Very pleasant and well made! ✨
- em inglês
This is a subtle linen scent with beautiful florals. This is soft and beautiful. Which made it an instant love. I just want to smell like this...all of the time... Thanks “The Fragrance Apprentice”!
- em inglês
I can't remember which fragrance it reminds me of *head-in-the-wall*, but is definitely not unique. EDIT: It is very close to Atelier Cologne Cedrat Enivrant and Zara Orange Zest.

Allure Homme Sport Chanel, same notes, smell the same..
