Animalic beast , you can smell the civet clearly

This fragrance is straight up absinthe when first sprayed on me. Then the musky notes come roaring in. Anything with civet is normally a hard pass for me. However, I adore hazelnut and leather as notes, hence the sample. As this continues to dry down, the leather becomes more prominent and the musky notes are tempered. I am personally well acquainted with what cat urine smells like having worked with rescues for years and having multiple cats share my home over the decades. And while fragrances smell different on different people, this is nothing like cat urine on me. The mature scent is somewhat musky and animalic. So, if that's not your bag, clearly this isn't for you. That, plus the slight sweetness of the incense and resins, could be mistaken for a urine-like sent on some people. My personal main complaint is that the absinthe and leathery aspects quickly fade in comparison to the musky and resinous notes over time. This means the final fragrance is somewhat flat and lacks dimension, which is a turn off for me when buying a bottle. Also, on me the hazelnut note is nowhere to be found, sadly. I know there are people who adore musk-heavy and animalic scents. I think this would be a great one for them to get a sample or decant of. If you are looking for a primarily leather fragrance or you are attracted by the hazelnut note, definitely don't blind by this.

Hmm. This is very interesting. The animalics are clearly here. I do not understand the reviews who mention them missing. It's clearly an animalic smoky amber. What I do not get(yet at least) is the leather or it's just too abstract for my nose. I do get the resemblance to Zoologist Civet but I think Meo Fusciuni's Varanasi is closer. Dirty animalic amber and smoke. Felino is a little more tame than Varanasi but it's down the same alley. You really need to love animalics to like this and you need to be really confident and somewhat nonchalant to actually wear it. It's late June when I'm writing this and the heat does not serve this fragrance well. Maybe in the colder, chillier months it will have a different aura. No blind buys for sure. Longevity is up there, sillage not so much but that's a good thing.

This is nice, good quality, but a bit too much for me! This is very intense, an ambery and balsámic juice very animalic. The civet and the leather are very strong here. The name is real...this perfume makes me think of houses where are Cats living...not un a bad way but the smell is very dirty and animalic. The performance is good. It is very intense and Deep, with very good longevity and good sillage. I think It is better for cold temperatures and maybe better for night time. I think It can be seen as a sexy scent. Not a fan of this at all. Very strong, spicy and floral with a strong animalic touch. Sickly

This is Sandor 70's plus a high dose of civet note. It's not a bad scent but I am very disapointed in the Carner Barcelona's brand house creativity. Low sillage ...

If you want to smell like cat urine, then go ahead. Since i paid alot of this 50ml, I gave it many chances, but it's just awful.

Smells like cat pee exactly - if you know the smell it’s indescribable but distinct. Gross.

Begining can be boozy, a bit pungent , very dense, no wonder, it is an extrait parfum concentration. When settling on your skin, gets more balsamic, creamy feeling , lasting long hours , only after 8-9 th starts to expose just a hint of animalic and smoky touch blended with overall warm and smooth experience. Nothing weird or skunky to be fair. Shares similarities with Carner's Palo Santo.

Very interesting and unique spicy and woody opening. As it starts to dry down after the first half hour or so, something starts turning a little bit "funky", and unfortunately not in a good way... It starts getting a bit sour, almost reminds me of salty licorice (which I really don't like). I'm still on my first impression so I'll have to see how this develops.

Please design a new website, bring back the sharp cool of the one last year. This one is simplistic, as in designed by a simpleton, and dumb, as in dumbed-down for no good reason.
