Marbella

I tested this beauty in a large perfumeria today, and I think it smells marvellious!! I think "yes", this is what I imagine Marbella would smell; pure lux, sunshine, white houses, blue sea, and nais jåts, I really-really want to visit this city some day, and I would love to wear a perfume like this, the only "skjær i sjøen" is this: The black currant note, witch itches on my lips and nose, it's called cross-allergy in norwegian. Otherwise I would say: This is a safe blind buy, noboddy can be offended by this delicate perfume, it's fresh, and clean, and has this TF-vibes in it, lucky all of you who can wear it :)) 10/10

This is the ultimate summerfragrance in my opinion. I almost used up my bottle :) This is fruity, fresh, clean and soft. It is also aquatic. I cant really pick up the notes, but I imagine being somewhere by the sea. It reminds me a bit of Ocean di Gioia. The sillage and lasting power is great, this lasts on my skin for about 6-7 hours. One of my summer favorites for sure :)

The dry down of this reminds me of Valaya, but much softer and without screechiness. That's the part of the perfume i enjoy most, however although the overall longevity is ok, i only catch the dry down on my skin and not on clothes. In general a very nice scent for summer, and i would probably also say a unique one if... Valaya wasn't there first.

I absolutely love Marbella. I don't know how aquatic is not listed in the accords, but it's SO fresh. I get a lot of the peony, peach, and tea. I love that it's fruity without smelling too cheaply sweet if that makes sense.

This is a better Gucci Rush 2, without that bitter citrus note. Very fresh, clean and uplifting, love it.

Marbella is a rose-centred floral-fruity, light and aquatic, given a little lift by the nose-tickling pepper note at its opening. Sweet yet fresh, it feels very noughties in style, but is made with good-quality ingredients and has impressive performance for its scent profile. It is not my thing however - much as I adore rose, I don't care for floral-fruities or aquatic scents in general. This will appeal to plenty regardless. Despite the freshness, it doesn't bring to mind Marbella for me - I would think beachy with a spicy twist instead of an aquatic rose such as this, but I digress. Marbella opens with a dewy, green rose note, sheer and fresh but slightly harsh. A prominent blackcurrant note adds tart freshness, bringing the floral-fruity to life, while black pepper gives a spicy, albeit sneeze-inducing edge to the opening. The aquatic peony note serves to enhance the rose - in fact, the rose feels peony-like throughout. I get some sweet The tea note in the background adds a lovely damp, herbal freshness, reminiscent of the excellent Tommy Girl. The amber base is surprisingly salty, adding an unexpected beachy edge to this aquatic rose scent. It becomes cleanly musky as it fades, the rose-musk accord here reminiscent of SJP Lovely or Narciso Rodriguez for Her. Sillage is surprisingly strong (take care to not overspray) and longevity is moderate. A feminine spring/summer rose-centred floral-fruity with a musky second phase, Marbella is pleasant and objectively decent, despite not being my thing. A noughties time capsule despite being released in 2020. 3/5.

This is quite a nice fruity freshie with some depth (musk and amber at the base) I'm not usually one for freshies but this is good. Not a great love, but a definate like and will absolutely have a place in the warmer months for myself here in northern Australia. The green tea notes, discernible right from the start amongst the floral and fruity notes, are quite different. It's almost a mint or eucalyptus effect, giving a slight warming sensation to the olfactory system and the skin its sprayed on, initially. This is a yucky thought (i'm a RN so cant help it) but I can see this one being a great choice when you have a cold and want to wear something that smells great and that also penetrates the clogged sinuses, it's that kind of warming sensation, but not like vix vapour rub intense. 😉 This is long lasting and has a pleasant sillage thats moderate in my view. I've been testing it for 3 days now. Not quite a beast in my opinion but really decent lasting power. Very happy to have this in my collection. Price is way too high though and chunky bottle lid is not so much to my liking. But I'm still keeping it 😁

A nice scent but not very unique, when I first smelled it I thought of Dior Joy if I remember it properly. That or Versace Bright Crystal, somewhere in that area of a scent profile. For me it's not unique enough to have a bottle, glad I had the chance to test it from a sample. Projection is low, so is the sillage but that often happens with Carner scents, which is not a problem since they are meant to be worn in the heat. I get some fruits/citruses in the opening, so if you like black currant perfumes, I'd say these are sour currants not ripe, sweet and zesty. A bit of fresh rose (definitely not the old lady type) but very little pepper so safe from that point of view. I also like the dry-down, I haven't tried any other perfumes with peach in the base, such a nice combo with a bit of musk. Even though the bottle is blue (it does give off an aquatic vibe but not too much), to me this is a pink-smelling fragrance if that makes sense, fun and zesty. I am not sure about the price-point so probably won't get a full bottle any time soon.

Nice happy summer/ spring scent; but it isn't unique at all. I smell it many many times before. It reminds me by florabotanica by botanica, which I own and love pretty much, with a descended performance. So, it doesn't deserve that price tag. ............ عطر صيفي/ربيعي لطيف؛ لكنه ليس فريد من نوعه على الإطلاق. فقد شممت رائحته عدة مرات من قبل. إنه يذكرني بعطر Florabotanica by botanica، الذي أملكه وأحبه كثيرًا، مع أداء تنازلي. لذا فهو لا يستحق هذا السعر.

I would describe this as smelling fresh water for the first time after winter, when everything has just finished melting, it's ULTRA fresh. Plus bug spray, but Rich - like bug spray in St. Tropez. It's a very specific smell, but I have a 15ml bottle and I'm glad. This is nice, but not safe for blind buying imo, even if you like freshies

Love this! I hardly smell any rose, it's mostly peony/tea. It's so fresh, airy, schick, flawlessly blended. Musc in the drydown is absolutely gorgeous. Surprisingly long lasting for a freshie. I'm so thrilled that it doesn't smell like everything else currently on the market, yay!

Lovely and fresh spring/summer scent. Great lasting power and quite strong sillage. I generally don't like floral perfumes, so I was surprised that I like this as much as I do. The florals have an aquatic character joined by a tea note, blackcurrant and peach. Beautiful fragrance.

A joyfully summery scent, especially in its floral opening. It transitions to a skin-close scent rather quickly and is delicate. Wearing it, along with its brightly colored bottle, brings delightful summer emotions.

Fresh, green & a bit strong but still smells good. Rose & green tea are the most prominent notes for me. For a brief moment I thought about Tommy Girl (is it the black currant?) too, but this is much more mature.

This is a really sparkly, green, fresh floral with a touch of tea. I love it. It's not for me, personally, (a bit too strong), but it's a beautifully crafted, spring-y, flowery fragrance.

I don't get the green tea. I mostly get the peony and the rose.

Light rose and peony with a hint of fruity sweetness. I get the "tea" note, that never actually smells like tea, but instead is a watery green. I also get a tiny bit of fruit, more peach than currant. It's delicate and light. Very good for warm weather. Unfortunately there is a some soapiness that reminds me of hand soap. It does last all day if that is your thing, but is a skin scent.

Slightly soapy, slightly aquatic fruity-floral. On a mouillette, the opening is strikingly reminiscent of L'Eau d'Issey, but the aquatic aspect is significantly toned down on skin. In the beginning I get a sticky, syrupy rose with sharp-green blackcurrant, more leaf than fruit. There's also a slight scratchy floral-piney-musky nuance: if there's pepper here, it's subtle and it's pink. The character steadily leeches out of the rose and fades into some nondescript, chlorinated florals in the middle. After a while, the fragrance eventually gains a second wind as a stronger warm peach-musk base develops. The structure here is a bit baffling. Why start out cool and aquatic to end up warm and amber-musky, with very little transition? Why is the middle so weak and uninteresting? It doesn't help that the whole perfume reminds me of functional fragrance, variably recalling spray hair detangler, room spray, and lotion. Maybe some people enjoy those references, but this one's ultimately not for me.

This fragrance has a distinctly summery vibe. It takes me back to my grandmother’s house, where on warm summer afternoons I used to sit on the porch, with the air filled with the scent of blooming peonies and blackcurrant bushes from the garden. Marbella opens with a delicate rose and tart blackcurrant, before gently developing into nuances of peony and aromatic green tea. In the base, a creamy peach emerges, the type you often find in body lotions, enhanced by a subtle touch of musk. Overall, the scent is pleasant and unobtrusive. On my skin, it lasts for around three hours and sits close to the skin. Marbella is best suited to hot summer days, when it can softly radiate from sun warmed skin

I discovered this fragrance by accident and instantly fell in love. The drydown is pure magic. I ordered it online right away, but while waiting for it to arrive, I went back to test it in store. At first, I thought, “Hmm... maybe it’s not that good.” But then the drydown hit again and I remembered exactly why I fell for it. It feels like a blend of tart Delina with a softer, more airy take on Valaya. Effortlessly chic, fresh, and summery it’s the kind of scent that gets you compliments while you’re sipping a cocktail by a marina, with the sea breeze in the air.

I’ve had this fragrance for a couple of months now and I’ve made serious dent. It’s a fresh easy reach that feels refreshing and light, but has great longevity. It’s not beast mode, but it definitely lasts in the heat. It must project well, too because twice I’ve had women chase me down in garden centres looking for the flower that smelled so nice. You need to smell this on the skin and in the air because it behaves in a very ethereal way compared to on a blotter paper. This is a solid summer no-brainer!

I don't know why but all I can smell- is black pepper. Like literally I sprayed myself with liquid black pepper. I don't smell any floral or fruit notes at all. I am reading all reviews and wish I picked up any of them lol. Unfortunately, no for me. Glad I only have travel size.

Love this for a couple of hours, its like being in a posh hotel lobby smelling the gardens drifting in through open doors.. then it begins to drift into hairspray territory, it gets too warm somehow, like they switched off the aircon.

Imagine enjoying the spanish sun on a yacht and a fresh salty breeze runs through your hair. This is what Marbella smells like. Like a rich woman on a yacht enjoying her summer in marbella. Very lovely fresh aquatic scent

I absolutely love this... can't wait to get a full bottle for the summer! Fresh crisp opening and Dry down is stunning! Carner is one of the niche houses that are actually good without being overpriced!

Fresh blue scent reminiscent. Lining toward the feminine but can be worn by a metrosexual man.Remindss me of bo-bo. This is fresher, a summer version of bo-bo. For a man I would recommand Bo-bo.

This smells so similar to Gucci Rush 2 it's shocking! Marbella is just a little less white floral.
