Rima XI

Disclaimer: This particular fragrance is a part of my personal collection, my experience with it is extensive. What an intriguing creation this is! My experience with Rima XI doesn’t quite align with many of the reviews I’ve seen on Fragrantica. Interestingly, it seems that different batches of this fragrance can vary significantly—and with my bottle, I’m not getting any gourmand elements at all. Instead, Rima XI leans heavily into woody territory, with sandalwood and cedar taking center stage. The composition is dynamic and evolves noticeably throughout the day, revealing some powdery nuances and a smooth, clean white musk base. There are no distinctive spices in my bottle either —at least not the ones commonly listed—so if you’re expecting prominent warm or sweet notes, you might be surprised. Quite frankly it’s a hard scent to pin down for me personally. Ethereal yet grounded, soft but assertive. There’s something refined and almost minimalist about the way the woods are presented here—elegant rather than overwhelming. It’s not a showstopper in the traditional sense, but it draws you in with quiet complexity. These days, you can find bottles of Rima XI for up to 70% off, and at that price, you’re getting a remarkably well-made fragrance. It might not suit everyone’s taste—especially if you’re chasing bold gourmand or spicy accords—but if you’re in the mood for a clean, woody, subtly powdery scent with a unique personality, it’s absolutely worth a try.

Rima XI opens with excellent spices, aromatic and fresh. Cardamon leads, with nutmeg second. Cinnamon bark & leaf gradually increasing as the opening wears off. A peppery and cooling nose feel skews the opening towards freshness, despite the heavy spice. In the heart, the spices become more blended and multi-faceted. A holistic cinnamon dominates. Subtle sweetness and warmth begin to appear. Cozy, creamy woods mix with soft resins to add depth to the smell. Aromatic vanilla leads the way into the dry down, creating a smoothly spiced, vanillin sweet skin scent. Performance is good. The bubble it creates lasts 6 to 7 hours. Not quite a spice bomb, but much more elegant and complex compared with designer spices. My companion mentioned that she could smell my Rima XI on her clothes the next morning, however. The 100 mL bottle is very good quality. Nicely shaped glass, a solid wooden cap which is elegantly oversized, with a decent nozzle. A statement bottle indeed. Overall, a fantastic study into spices with a fresh twist. The notes here have decent separation and fantastic definition, in contrast with most spice and vanilla scents. The nose feel is particularly rich. Definitely worth a sample at least!

This took me by suprise . i thought this would be much more spicy and less sweet . infact i was affraid of it being to spicy. but gosh was i inn for a suprise . The top notes and start of the perfume reminds me verymuch of my beloved Sensuouse Estee lauder . but this is just a short 5-10 min . then the sweetnes steps out and my smile got even broader. I found this to be very much in line of Nina ricci Belle Delice d`epices. and i love that on So jolly comforting and easy to wear. Just as this one . Nna ricci is more citrus and fruit .This is more gental spice vanilla . Almost cookie like . I cant waith to wear this on a cold autumn day . this goes straight to my love list . so happy to have a tiny bottle of it. this im sure i will get a bigger one of in short wild . I got this togehter with Tardes . This was a true winner Tardes become (at first sniff) perhaps abit to masculin on my skin . I was so sure it would be the other way around . Recomend to thouse who love a sweet soft spicy scent. cuddely and easygoing . This also lasts long on my skin even in the heat .still as strong 6-7 hours after applyed just a little amount

This is such an unbelievably weird fragrance. I keep coming back to my sample of it over and over and over, to where it's almost used up and I'm running out of time to decide, mainly because I can't decide if I actually want to smell like this or not. It's weird in like, a Le Feu D'Issey way. It's an oddball, confusing, everything but the kitchen sink fragrance. It opens to this minty-vanillic, lactonic bubblegum vibe, with some cinnamon thrown in too. And as time passes it mellows into a resinous vanillic scent, but not a luxurious one. It smells pretty cheap, honestly. But in a niche way. Does that make sense, even? Like Le Feu also smells cheap to me in a niche way. This is very complex, weird, trashy, but still compelling. Cheap instant chai latte with an opening of minty cinnamon gum. Black pepper and Splenda and milk. Bubble gum. Dry spices. Grocery store gingerbread cookies? Why is so much happening at once? Why do I love it? Why can't I decide if I want to smell like it?

I think it is a floral gourmand. I get beautiful soft florals and a powdery vanilla. My husband also mentioned he can smell cinnamon note, so spices are there, but they are soft and balsamic. The fragrance I would say falls feminine. It does sit close to skin, but previously I mentioned it doesn't last, it actually does. I sprayed it before bed and woke up still smelling it on my shirt. I think this fragrance is absolutely at its best in cold weather. It does last and projects on clothes better. Rima XI remind me a lot of Nishane Ani and also Xerjoff Dolce Amalfi but softer and more feminine and definitely more affordable too. Its very comforting, I think its my favorite so far from Carner Barcelona. Its worth trying and dosnt get enough hype imho.

I got a Carner discovery set and I've really been enjoying it. This opens wonderfully. Softly spicy and edible in a light and airy way; it's not too sweet or dense. I get a lot of cardamom and I love that. For me that cardamom note sticks around through the whole thing. The dry down does remind me a bit of Remarkable People but I wouldn't say they are perfect dupes. And the opening is very different. Remarkable People has those champagne and citrus notes. This opens more like a spiced cookie. I like them both. Other people have gotten good performance from this one but for me unfortunately it's very fleeting (or perhaps I'm going noseblind) and sits close to the skin. I love the scent nonetheless and I'm still strongly considering a bottle.

!!! Be Aware !!!, you might have the wrong fragrance. Ive seen several reviews mentioning that the perfume smells nothing like the notes shown here, but was rather a masculine aquatic freshie. Its not! My friend who also bought RIMA XI from a reputable discounter received the same fresh fragrance. It seems like something went wrong with the labelling, which is probably why it doesn't smell like its suppose to. Be aware and maybe buy directly from the Carner Barcelona house. RIMA XI truly smells like a warm spicy woody milk cookie. Its sultry, creamy, slightly sweet and does have some fresh elements with the cardamom, the mint and the coriander. Could go year round but I prefer to wear it during fall and winter. A favorite of mine.

This is so well blended that none of those initial opening notes of pepper or mint overpower. There’s a hint of sharpness if you squint, and the cardamon comes through in such an elegant and light way. Dry down is floral and warm, the clean powdery vibes die down, and you’re left with this stunning light and airy vanilla. it’s kind of weird and definitely layered, but still a very safe every day scent. It doesn’t necessarily smell like it, but it evokes the image to me of a sunlit drawing room in a big country house. The windows are thrown open to let in the smell of the gardens, and the warm summer air. It’s covered in flowers and books and paper and fresh linens. And someone has just had sex on the desk.

People rave about Tardes & Palo Santo from this house but in my opinion Rima XI might be the best. It’s spicy with cardamom, cinnamon, & nutmeg, it’s warm with a creamy vanilla and benzoin base, and it’s woody in a very smooth buttery sandalwood and cedar. There’s a tiny pinch of something that hints at citrus in this perfume in the opening but it’s too well blended to pick out. I never really comment on other people’s reviews but calling this scent “aquatic” is like calling Tobacco Vanille a freshie. Water lilies? What? But then again I don’t smell any fruit at all in Erba Pura so...

This smells very much like Omnia by Bulgari but much more complex and dense of a perfume. I prefer Rima XI by a lot as it is much more intoxicating, addictive, and complex but the 2 are very similar. I only have the Royalty Scents 8ml of Rima XI yet I have the full bottle of Omnia. I am going to try layering the 2 since they have the same DNA so that my Rima XI won't get used up too fast! I am definitely saving up for a full bottle of Rima XI and it is one of only a handful of niche perfumes that I have tried and feel are full-bottle worthy. I absolutely LOVE it! Just gorgeous.

This is warm creamy spicy chai latte minus the ginger. I’m mostly getting cardamom, amber, vanilla, benzoin, with light spice. There’s almost a gooey, buttery, baked goods smell to it. This is by far my favorite from this house so far. Although I have yet to try Ambar Del Sur, Palo Santo, or El Born. If they’re this good then my wallet is in trouble. I’m finding myself reach for this over and over in this cooler weather. It definitely has an addictive sweet, cozy vibe. This one is a lighter oriental that could be worn anytime and doesn’t bowl you over with incense and spice.

This fragrance starts out with a gorgeous sweet-spicy blend of resins and spices, which would normally be right up my alley. On my skin, however, the spices fade almost immediately, and I am left smelling JUST like Bazooka bubblegum. That being said, its longevity is great, and the sillage leaves you in a sweet, cozy bubble. The opening is so stunning, and I am devastated that it doesn't work with my skin chemistry, but any cardamom lover should definitely sample this fragrance. I would caution against blind buying, just in case your skin responds to it like mine does.

I just received my decant and it lives up to my expectations. On paper, it’s all vanilla and amber. It smells just like my Voluspa Baltic Amber room spray. On my skin, I get a lot more depth and I pick up more of the notes like saffron, pepper, sandalwood, and cardamom. It’s a beautiful, spicy scent with vanilla. I suspect that the longevity is poor. That’s unfortunate for such a pretty fragrance. This is gonna be fantastic in fall and winter, but I’ll have to overspray and carry some with me. I also think it will layer well with Commodity Gold.

I'm, unfortunately not most skilled , silk tongue ,borderline poetry consumer. But I eat gingerbread and ocasionally ,when forced I drink Cola. And this is it. Not to split hair to four we've got first : well done christmas cokie with fizzy Cola like punch in between your Betty Davies eyes . After not long situation takes drastic turn and it's fizziness that is projecting ,with occasional ginger bread kick . Over all surly more feminine, than masculine. Tasty like sin and money worth as it is unique in its simplicity

Minty-fresh aquatic. Unisex, does not lean masculine for me. Invokes a still pond in the middle of a summer garden. Water lilies and jasmine can be found everywhere as you take a piece of a freshly cut watermelon. Very nice. Yes if you really dig into it you can find the spicy notes as far as cinnamon and nutmeg. But they don't stand out (as they shouldn't in this composition) and instead are just strokes that help paint this picture of sitting by the side of a freshwater pond on a cool, summer day. Love it!

Initial impression: Spice market meets bakery. I’m picking up on cardamom rolls, turning Rima XI into a delicious autumn treat. I have other cardamom scents, and Rima XI comes across more sophisticated. If you love spice driven scents, and specifically cardamom, cinnamon and nutmeg, then shortlist Rima XI. Overall it’s much softer than my favorite orientals, but there are times I don’t want a spice bomb. I immediately bought a larger sample so I can test Rima XI for a longer test drive.

I got a sample of this. I admit that at first I was not sure if it would be just a like. On the 2nd wear it has turned to a love. Im not that keen in the first five minutes but it develops and just gets better and better. Its most definitely a sweetish spicey gourmand. Ive never smelt anything quite like it. The mint and saffron add a modern twist to an otherwise typical spicey aromatic fragrance. Moderate sillage longevity.

Really easy to wear everyday. Maybe more of a daytime scent, but suited for all seasons in my opinion. This is because even if there is cardamom, nutmeg and cinnamon, the overall experience is fresh and much more light than I expected. It could be the mint and coriander that freshen the otherwise chai-latte-like composition. Currently, this is the scent I reach out to most often. Tardes was not my cup of tea, but this is.

Rima XI by Carner Barcelona is one of those rare perfumes that feels like a memory in a bottle. From the very first spray, it's soft, buttery, and gently powdery—like a tender hug. What captured me instantly was the mix of cardamom and nutmeg, a spiced warmth that reminded me of my grandmother’s Christmas cake. It’s warm, sweet, and comforting, yet never heavy.

Oh, this is good! Initially, I really get ginger and cardamon with a hint of sweetness. It is a subtle scent that mellows into a spicy, dry,almost dusty, woods. This is my ideal Fall scent. I have to agree with other reviews about the longevity. I am not sure I would invest in this, but I would love to receive it as a gift.

So here it is.......very nice spicy gourmand. It reminds me of 1899, but less strong and smoother. Nice Fall fragrance. Lots of cinnamon. Reminds me of the holidays. The florals add an almost shampoo-like quality to it, and the mint adds a bit of a bright lemony touch to it. Very unique. Worth a try!

Ohhhh....this is so scrumptious. Totally gourmand yet spicy. It smells like a spicy, sweet Christmas treat. This surprised me in the best way imaginable. I cannot wait to wear this "for real" tomorrow and not just the test spray on my arm after this fragrance arrived today :) Soooo good!

This opens spicy and the dry down is a beautiful warm vanilla that’s almost boozy but not in a way that’s inappropriate for everyday/ work. I like this one in the warmer months because the dry down is a hundred times more delicious when I’m a but warm.

Very unique opening. It's something about the spices mixed with mint and saffron that makes me think of ripe bananas. But in the best possible way :) As it dries down it's more of a soft creamy and woody vanilla with a dash of cardamom and nutmeg.

I wish they made an extrait or intense version of this. It’s my go to in the winter month.

Wow. This one is super interesting, and borderline weird. It's maybe the most non-linear scent I've ever tried. The person below who said "warm spicy woody milk cookie" is right on, at least in the initial opening. Cardamon, nutmeg, vanilla, cinnamon are strong out of the gate, with a bit of coriander, benzoin and cedar to sophisticate and elevate the sweet edibles and spices. So my first thought was - "gourmand!" But no. The freshly baked, extra fancy spiced sugar cookie smells fades as the resins and woods strengthen and mix with the spices, becoming less sweet and more powdery. "Oh, it's a woody oriental!" But also no. By 10-15 minutes in, jasmine takes control and steers this firmly into creamy floral territory. The spices are still there, the woods, the amber, the vanilla - but they are all backup now for the jasmine which is absolutely beautiful on this oriental/gourmand base. The drydown is drier. Saltier as some below have mentioned. Although I get absolutely zero mint or pepper on my skin. But all in all, what a ride! Schizophrenic, maybe, but each stage was beautiful. This is the kind of thing I need to live with for a while to see if I can take the early whiplash, but it's probably worth it. To me this seems quite feminine though and I can't see it working for most men. The longevity could be better - if anything stops me from getting this it's likely to be how quickly it goes to a skin scent and begins to fade, although it does last a few hours if I press my nose against my skin. I honestly wonder how a perfume this strange not only gets to market but stays in production for over 10 years. It must have a fanbase. By the way, the website describes this perfume thus: "Rima XI celebrates the romantic glory of the 19th-century Spanish poet G.A. Bécquer. Just like the poet’s muse, Rima XI is mysterious and sensual: warm and spicy notes of Cardamom and Black Pepper are covering the burning heart of Cinnamon and sensual Jasmine, leaving you with a memory of sweet Sandal Wood and Musk. The hidden power of destruction under the radiant innocence, impossible to conquer." It definitely starts out sweet and innocent and then changes into something more seductive! (ps. anyone saying this is a citrus/aquatic/freshie must have the bad batch of discount bottles/samples that @rozzzisonfire mentions below. This is definitely not that!)

The most beautiful featherlight langue-du-chat biscuit laced with beautiful sweet Indian spice ... which crumbles to a rather more ordinary vanilla-amber aura for a few hours more. The opening is absolutely lovely, a kooky non-edible cookie redolent (on me) of toasty wheat or grain, while the gorgeous aromatics waft about deliciously ... it verges on Bois de Farine territory, but much classier and almost-floral in the arrangement of the spices than you may think from looking at its pyramid. Saffron, nutmeg, coriander, cinnamon and vanilla all in there batting bravely, with the vanilla particularly vigorous. I get no mint at all and I'm very grateful for that. Yet somehow (ignore all my blithering about food) it is very much NOT a gourmand, more a warm and sophisticated femme scent of comfort, rather than of challenge or command. Though, I guess, if you're a man into sweet-spicy-amber comfort scents, this may yet satisfy. The first hour is straight-up gorgeous; the odd waft even conjures a distant cousin of Mitzah or Tauer LADDM - high praise indeed. But yet again this is a Carner which goes limp on my skin and simply can't back up its undoubtedly seductive proposition with decent strength. Worse yet, it doesn't only die back fast, but gets much more generic and basic as it retires. So I can't make up my mind to stay impressed with its lovely first impression, or throw something at it in irritation because of the poor performance. It's so pretty. But just does not stay the course. Frustrating.

First you'll feel a special scent that like a Pretzel ! After 3 minutes that scent will less . At this moment Cinnamon,soft vanille , Cardamom who A little sour perfume and some woody notes Combined together in this fragrance there are very spices note so if you like spicy sweet , sexy and Provocative perfume it is one of the sexy and Provocative perfumes i have ever seen شروع عطر بسیار جالب و خاص هست .نمیدونم علت این نو رایحه چیه ولی خود من یاد یه نوع بیسکوییت نمکی افتادم . بگذریم بعد از چند دقیقه رایحه اولیه عطر ضعیف تر میشه و در این لحظه بوی دارچین بعلاوه وانیل که بوش ملایمه و بوی هل و یکم نت چوبی با رایحه اولیه ترکیب خواهند شد از نظر من کار ملایم و خوبیه اصلا بوی سنگینی نداره بعد از 10 دقیقه بوی صمغی شیرین ، عطر رو گرم و شیرین تر میکنه از قبل و از اینجا به بعد پخش بوی عطر بهتر میشه یکم بوی فلفل هم در این لحظه حس میشه تو این عطر کلی ادویجات وجود داره که روایح شیرین صمغی مثل کهربا و ... بعلاوه وانیل اون رو بسیار جذاب تر میکنند تازه بعد از مدتی یکم نت چوبی هم اضافه میشه به عطر که دیگه معرکه میکنه بوی عطرو پس اگر یه عطر تحریک آمیز و اسپایسی باحال می خواید این عطر رو در لیست تست هاتون قرار بدید کار باکیفیت و از نظر من خاصی محسوب میشه

So... I am very torn right now. Last month I bought a set of 3 travel sizes 15 ml each directly from Carner Barcelona website. Rima XI turned out to be my favorite one. Used almost half of my travel size and decided to get a full bottle. Landed on Fragrancenet.com which seemed to have the best pricing online. Ordered from them, and got my order today. Sprayed it as soon as I got it and...surprise...doesn't smell the same as the travel one I had. Don't get me wrong, I kind of like how it smells but it's not what my other one smells like. Put one in each arm and compared them for about 3 hours. They are not the same at all. I am wondering if I got a bad/old batch from Fragrancenet??? Anyone experienced that??? I got to say that as much as I love the smell of this, it doesn't last on me. I get maybe 2-3 hours before it becomes a skin scent and I have to bury my nose in my arm to really smell it. None of the Carner Barcelona fragrances I own last. Exeption to the rule, Tardes was a beast on me. But couldn't stand the heavy florals in there so I decluttered that from my collection.

Wonderfully delicious subtle sweet spices. Cardamom, a unique spin on a cinnamon note, vanilla, nutmeg... sweet and powdery, it smells edible. It's classed as an amber floral but I think amber vanilla is more accurate. If the note breakdown is to be believed, there is some jasmine in this, but I don't smell much of an overt floral quality. The vanilla and spices are more prominent. It smells Christmassy, but isn't very strong and it truly "blooms" in the humidity of the summer, so I'd recommend wearing this during summer evenings & in early autumn. I like RIMA XI quite a bit, but it has a chemical sort of soapy scent to it in the opening (I think it's the mint?) that lingers for an oddly long time. Due to the funny opening & soft amber vanillas generally not being my favorite, I haven't been reaching for this. I will be passing my decant along.

I think it really fits well in the same collection ("Woody", although it not complete wood notes, which would be something not for me) as i.e. Tardesyor Palo Santo, which I do truly enjoy. This one is clean, warm and comforting, like gingerbread/pumpkin spice and luxuriuos cozy creamy soap. It is spicy, but still manages to be soft and elegant. It is a true unisex, I think it compliments females and I, as one, can also wear it. But I would for a guy to smell like this too. So much, that I would give it up, as I think it would be better/more suited for sometime else than me. Also it has this expensive hotel lobby scent vibe. I wish it was stronger, as sillage is lacking and longevity is also not the best.

Wow! This is my favorite that I tried from CB so far! I cannot describe the scent itself, everything is so nicely blended, that nothing stands out to me very much. This is a buttery smooth, calming scent. Somehow it reminds me of the 90s, but it doesn't smell vintage to me at all. It smells like happy, confident and warm hearted women back then. Because of the nostalgia that I have regarding this fragrance I would say it is a bit more mature leaning but not old granny style at all. Super lovely, sweet, softly spicy! Update: I found a 100ml bottle for 54 EUR so I got it. It was over 50% off so I went ahead and bought the big boy 😊

#872 in my "Tour de Fragrance" I get the same minty freshie others are mentioning in this decant. Apparently the notes list above has been corrected. Because I am smelling exactly the notes listed and it is the same list on the Carner site: TOP NOTES: Guatemalan Cardamom, Madagascan Black Pepper, Moroccan Nanah Mint, Saffron MID NOTES: Ceylon Cinnamon, Indonesian Nutmeg, Indian Jasmine Sambac, Coriander BASE NOTES: Virginian Cedar Wood, Australian Sandal Wood, Madagascan Vanilla Absolute, Benzoin from Laos, Soft Amber, Musk This is a really nice fragrance. Completely unisex, minty and fresh and I am ordering a bottle.

Interesting but somewhat unexceptional Floriental creation which showcases a central vanillic amber with some floral and spicy elements. The perfume opens on a spicy aromatic note with cardamom, mint, pepper and saffron. The heart is mainly jasmine with some cinnamon, nutmeg and coriander. The perfume quickly settles into its dense powdery base of vanilla and amber surrounded by hints of musk, benzoin, cedar and sandalwood. The perfume has a pleasing moderate to strong projection, sillage and longevity and leans slight feminine. Recommended for lovers of mild Orientals. Enjoy!

When I saw the notes, I thought this is going to be something spicy, sharp, musculine leaning. It couldn't be further from the truth. This is a very delicate, soft, smooth and buttery scent. I see that a lot of people marked this as being similar to jeux De Peau, which is in my personal top 5 of GOATS, and I can see why. While they are not exactly alike and barely have any notes in common, they share a similar vibe - calming and peaceful. Rima XI is a lovely whisper of a fragrance, half gourmand, half spicy. It is very very light and fleeting.

On my skin I mainly get a blend of dry spices (as per the notes), vanilla and a hint of sandalwood (no florals even though it's described as a floral oriental). It also slightly leans gourmand too because of the vanilla. I think if you like spicy sandalwood fragrances like Tom Ford Santal Blush, Rima XI is a great alternative. I was tossing up between buying a full bottle of Rima XI and El Born but I went with El Born as it has better performance. I may purchase a full bottle in future.

This smells savory to my nose in the opening. The dry-down is smoother and kind of...smoky? I thought there may be some leather or vetiver in this, but it's not listed. Slightly peppery, definitely spicy and very subtle. Interesting to say the least. And while unisex, can also see it categorized as masculine leaning. First sniff of the brand, and I'm intrigued to try more.

The opening as well as first hour of this scent is delicious and addictive. After one hour it dries down to a more sweet/powedery scent that reminds me a bit of Acqua Universalis of MFK. Not a bad thing but I just wished the mid note would last longer.

The opening smells like spiked eggnog in a very pleasant, yummy way. The dry down leans more into a more simple sandalwood with vanilla.

This smells exactly like Gamesa's Ricanelas cookies, dipped in milk. It's a shame this has no sillage on my skin, very intimate.

On my skin Rima XI is an intimate creamy vanilla, with moderate longevity. Cozy and pleasant.

A nice sent but after just a few hours I can no longer smell it. So disappointed.

Reminiscent of ELDO's Remarkable People with a bit less cardamom

I have now given this a couple of wearings to figure out whether or not I like this and I think I ultimately do not really do so. The opening and middle are quite nice; Rima XI spicy, light gourmand, a genre I normally do not care much for, but kind of enjoy in this case. It does feel edible (there is almost a cake-like, fluffy texture to the opening) but not too much; it's subtle. But in the dry down it becomes this kind of formless, slightly cheap-smelling, powdery vanilla/sandalwood thing that I just find quite uninteresting. A friendly fragrance, but it lacks a bit of personality when it comes down to it.

This looked like such a promising fragrance. As noted, this is an amber-floral scent. This does have a gourmand quality and yes, it does remind me of a spicy chai tea latte. However, there is this soapy aspect and bland aspect to this, that does not make it full bottle worthy. On my skin, I get the cinnamon, cardamom, nutmeg, coriander and a whole lot of pepper. I am disappointed to see that the vanilla, benzoin, amber and the gooey gourmand quality to this scent never comes through. This is far from my gourmand on my skin.

I get a spicy sunscreen vibe from this. First impression was I felt neutral, then I didn't like it, then I did like it, and now I'm back to neutral. The cardamom is strong throughout, and in the drydown the nutmeg, jasmine, and cinnamon really shine. I get something cherry and woody too. Definitely getting an old wood chest smell from the cedar. Not something I'd reach for.

I was looking forward to try Rima a lot, and I can smell all the spices, really nicely blended. Coriander, cardamom, nutmeg all are here however I am not really impressed. Sillage is very intimate and it just lacks personality. Despite its ambery, spicy nature it is somewhat soapy in the drydown. I'm not a fan, but I imagine there are people who will like this a lot.
