Super Moon

I’m surprised at the hate this perfume is receiving. It’s a sexy strawberry Coco Mademoiselle mixed with a bit of Rouge Trafalger: juicy, slightly sweet yet fresh and clean. I get a more of a smooth strawberry with a hint of rose. Pomegranate is heavy and tart so I’m glad it is not coming across that way but instead like a strawberry that is not sugary sweet but juicy having just a tad of sweetness grounded by the patchouli. Definitely smells sophisticated, youthful and a little playful. I love when it gets to the dry down where it smells like stepping out of a hot bath where you used a luxurious body wash. It was love at first sniff for me and I had to have it! It lasted 2 days on clothes still counting. 8/10 as it has moderate protection. Definitely full bottle worthy.

Wow, such a gem! Fresh without being that tipical citrusy summer scent. Sweet, juicy pomegranate, fruity, but not sharp or cloying, perfectly blended with cassis - and a bitter woody-aromatic kind of freshness at the background. Those woods with the juicy pomegranate and the sweet flowers is like a magical, refreshing, unique scent which is hard to describe. Unisex, but leans feminine. I can see myself wearing this for any occasions. Sillage is moderate, about an arm lenght with two sprays (office-friendly🙂), but longetivity is only 4-6 hours. All in all, I am in love with this beauty. Sorry if my English is not perfect. 😇

Walked into a department store just to see what’s new and stumbled upon this. I didn’t expect to like it so much that I went to buy it immediately. It‘s my third day wearing it and I have to say I did not regret spending €65 on a 30ml bottle. It‘s a very fizzy and sweet citrus with a soft patchouli dry down. Sillage is strong even though the scent itself is quite transparent. I can imagine wearing this all year long. It‘s nothing groundbreaking but it’s familiar and envelopes you like a blanket from your childhood.

As we just experienced a Wolf supermoon in the night sky, temperatures dropped to -10C and lots of snow fell. To me, Super Moon from Carner is a superb cold winter fragrance. Combined with frosty air and high body temperature from underneath layers of wool, the balanced notes of berries, fruits, flowers, subtle patchouli and musk bring sparkly happiness that melts into a lovely body cream drydown. The red cubic container makes it a perfect visual companion for Yule and New Year too.

In the opening it's juicy, fruity and strong. Love the pomegranate note. It feels like a concentrated juice. But that fades so quickly, in just over half an hour it's a skin scent on me. It then goes into it's floral phase. The base is as described, a good balance of patchouli/vetiver/musk, but done in a very soft, feminine way. Overall longevity no more than 4/5 hours I'd say. For the price I must admit I hoped for a bit better longevity, but the scent itself is beautiful to me.
