212 Heroes Forever Young

Continuing my reviews of samples I got from my purchase at CH, I am in LOVE! This is a really yummy, juicy scent. Like Berry juice dripping down your chin, paired with pink lemonade spritzers on a picnic for a first date, in a best-friends-to-lovers story. It truly encapsulates its name: Heroes Forever Young. It's the scene from The Perks of Being a Wallflower where Sam (Emma Watson) stands on the back of the truck while they drive through the tunnel, and Heroes by David Bowie plays! It's fun, it's fruity, it's playful, it's familiar, but it's not juvenile - we've grown up from our girl next door body spray to a lovely young lady's first perfume. This would make a great gift for a highschool or college gal. It's somewhat linear, but we like that, because it's comforting to know what to expect. Crisp, sharp, juicy fruitiness. I think it's a safe blind buy and easily likeable, and a good don't-know-what-to-wear grab for the warmer months. I can imagine wearing this in spring and summer for everyday or signature wear! I wish they made a smaller bottle of this, I would buy it immediately! I'm going to keep wearing my sample for now and decide if it's FBW! It was a blind purchase, I didn't have any red berries in my collection and I wanted to get a scent of that style. The reviews indicate it as an unoriginal perfume within the floral-fruity and I agree. In these first uses I really feel the sweet red fruits, particularly the raspberry, accompanied by a somewhat acidic note. When dried, this floral accompaniment of orange blossom and jasmine can be distinguished, but very very tenuous, always with a predominance of fruit. At times I can distinguish the sandalwood. It is a very jovial, cheerful aroma, but not for that reason childish, at the level of the aromas of a firm like CH. A special aroma for everyday life, especially in spring. Cheerful, very pleasant, massive taste. Until now a normal duration, about 6-7 hours with about 10 sprays. As I said, it is one of the few aromas that I have in my collection of red fruits and it has left me super happy and satisfied.

Después de mas de un año de uso, debo decir que me sigue gustando y mucho! específicamente para primavera-verano. Tengo la fortuna que tiene una duración bastante aceptable en mi (me aplico mas de 8 atomizaciones) y lo encuentro un perfume muy comodín! muy bonito, muy girly, frutal no en exceso, dulce no en exceso, amaderado no en exceso!... no huele a shampoo, es más sofisticado...de todos los aromas con esta vibra creo que es uno de mis favoritos. Un fondo de armario para mi.

Llevo más de 5 meses usando este perfume casi a diario y lo amo. Es dulce pero no empalagoso, muy frutal. Le siento bastante la nota de frambuesa jugosa con un toque cítrico de mandarina, manteniendo una base cálida y amaderada. Lo único malo es que no tiene casi nada de proyección y dura bastante poco en la piel, considerando su precio. Aun así, dura bastante en la ropa. Me gusta mucho para usarlo en verano y primavera, aunque también queda muy bien en invierno.

I found my old bottle with a little bit of this fragrance remaining and i'm still in love with how it smells. This also reminded me of its longevity and that's why i wont buy another unless it costs 15$ 😭

Love EVERYTHING about it: from it’s gorgeous creamy raspberry floral scent to the super cool skateboard bottle/80 ml sized atomizer. Great lasting power too.

OMG!! this fragance 😍😍 AMAZING, long lasting and delicious.

The first perfume I chose for myself after going shopping with my dad. After using CK One and Tommy Girl for months, and a history with Ariana's Sweet Like Candy (body mist), I yearned for a different type of perfume. This is very fresh and girly, genuinely a delicious scent; it's the type of fresh-fruity, almost shampoo like, scent that a lot of people love. Great for summer and spring, not cloying. I felt so grown-up and accomplished when I wore this, literally like a young woman who's finally settling into this chaotic world and I looooved this purchase. Now that I have more experience with fragrances I find this to be underwhelming for its price point: a bit generic, doesn't last too much, beautiful bottle though I feel uneasy when using it. If I had to compare it to other perfumes I'd say it's a bit reminiscent of Ari's Sweet Like Candy, but less sweet, and 212 is fruitier. I also got a bit of 212 vibes when smelling Valentino's Donna Born in Roma Coral Fantasy, however I find DBIR-CF to be more "rounded", feels more complex to my nose, and it has better performance. I don't think I can rate it accurately without being blinded by my feelings towards it. I've had this for almost 3 years, and now that I know a bit more about fragrance and find this to be a bit disappointing I've decided to keep it with 2 other perfumes to finish them quickly. I see no point in letting this pretty scent turn bad after neglecting it for months. I am not sure if I'd buy this again? I feel like I want to keep it as a memory, but I also would like to make space for perfumes that I'm obsessed with. Maybe in a few months I'll obsess over this just like I did the first time I wore it.

This is a surprisingly realistic raspberry note ! Very pleasant and nice combo of soft, near boozy berryful raspberry paired with a nice bright sweet orange scent !! However it lacks a certain spark, it feels like a very evening fruit scent to me, perhaps would be nice paired with something sweeter and brighter. nice and pleasant but not my cup of tea :)

I received a sample and to my surprise I liked the scent. I bought Versace crystal Noir and 😭 I much prefer this one, it smells familiar like I'm sure other houses have already some kind of version of this perfume! The bottle is just 😌

Don’t let the bottle fool you. This has depth, especially in the drydown. Very flirty, fun and femine. Skater dress, summer heat and eating fruit.

fruity and fresh with nice longevity, yet it has that generic femenine perfume smell to it. Not groundbreaking, but still very nice. 8/10

Sweet raspberry mixed with mandarin orange. And you can feel a very light white floral note. It is sweet but doesn't smell like candy.

Got it for my daughter, she loves the unusual bottle. A beautiful fresh fruit fragrance suitable espesially for girls.

Light Fresh fruity floral scent. Beautiful but not very long lasting.

I hate jasmine and mandarin orange (the strongest notes here in my opinion), but I find this fragrance fairly tolerable. With that in mind, I would assume someone who enjoys these notes would really like it! However, the sillage is poor and the longevity mediocre, and I noticed that after 30-45 minutes the scent became more soapy and sandalwood-y. I got a free sample of this with a makeup order, it isn't a perfume I'd choose for myself.

Pretty basic feminine fragrance. Floral, fruity, not very strong, casual. If you like this kind of simple smells, then it is perfect to wear to work or running errads. Not overpowering.

Pleasant. Generic. Artificial fruity sweetness, almost like lip gloss, similar to Dolce Colors by O Boticário or Lempicka Sweet, with a slight aromatic and very light floral note.

pretty forgettable, but not unagreeable. raspberry and jasmine

I received sample of this, after reading the notes I was eager to try it. What a dissapointment! It lasts a long time and projects... poor me!. This is a badly blended fruity cocktail, and artificial one. It makes me think of pineapple Kool Aid even though there's no pineapple here (well, maybe because Kool Aids smell nothing like the natural fruits). Extremely sweet and sharp, very artificial.

Raspberry with candied orange peels. A bit too sweet for my taste, headache inducing.

Smells like an annoying aunt-grandma.

I was intrigued to try this one based on the Fragrantica description of it. I don't particular like the bottle design because I am older and it seems too much teen for my tastes now (we change over time you know...). The juice is raspberry through and through and till the very end, good longevity. Like all Carolina Herrera scents is never unpleasant and I would use it if I received this as a gift. I am not inclined to purchase it for myself but I'm sure it will please the young ladies.

The best raspberry fragrance I've smelled thus far. Most raspberry fragrances give this "raspberry candy" sort of feel, but this one smells more like raspberry juice in the opening. Then it mixes with clean and light flowers. Reaaaally hard to dislike. Balanced sweetness and freshness. Really perfect for warm casual days. My thumbs up.

This opens fresh and juicy with raspberry and mandarin :) Its so nice, its easy to wear. It reminds me a bit of Burberry Her, actually. The drydown smells like Voce Viva Intensa and I Want Choo. Great everyday scent :)

Absolutely beautiful and the perfect perfume for hot weather 🥵. The one thing that I didn’t like is the bottle design it’s not very easy to use. Highly recommended it for ladies who live in hot countries.

Y2K vibes, Fruity Citrus Creamy White Floral. If you like La vie est belle eclat, Kylie Jenner cosmic, Dior Joy, Brittany Spears Fantasy..then you’ll probably like this. Very pretty scent

The perfume bottle looks so cheap that I don't want to buy the perfume😂

Pls tell me if this fragrance has a good sillage ang longevity?

A better mon Paris. Almost has a milky accord
