212 Heroes

Still my go to summer scent. Of all the different masculine, summer-oriented scent profiles, the Pear-Cannabis-Ginger in 212 Heroes is just a thing of genius. Sharp, assertive fresh citrus with the zingy bite of Ginger and this underlying unusual green, herbaceous yet fruity accord that is addictive. Some scents with Cannabis note can come across as too funky making them a bit risky to wear out and about (Kolmaz Cannabis and Kolmaz Marijuana - I am especially looking at you 😬) but as you get with scents like Bad Boy Le Parfum, the Cannabis note adds an unusual edge that is kind of intriguing. As far as the bottle goes, yeah it is a bit cheesy but also a bit of fun too. I try not to take life too seriously but I can also understand why this bottle design might have limited its market appeal to some degree. However, what I noticed about it is that it isn't "1 Million" 😉 miles away from the bottle design of another well known fragrance that's still one of the biggest sellers on the planet today........it is essentially that same bottle in silver (rather than gold), a little wider maybe but with a 'slouch' and 4 wheels stuck on the back. Other than that its pretty much the same bottle. As time goes on prices for 212 Heroes are coming down little by little so this makes it much more accessible for more people.......I just hope the price coming down is not Carolina Herrera's way of lining this gem up for discontinuation. I do hope not.😟

I was looking for an alternative to Invictus since it's too sharp on me, I also wanted something fresh and wearable with weed in it, this also has pear and leather (love them) it also happens to be made by CH and I really like the quality of their perfumes; so this one went straight to favorites <3. Smells like crispy pear juice with a spiciness added through the ginger, the cannabis is very nice here 🍀😋 adds a slight dankness to the scent profile that makes it stand out and the leathery drydown is amazinggg. It projects very well, envelops in a comfortable scent bubble, and longevity is decent (~6hrs) I usually don't mind respraying but the only downside is that this one is a bit pricey for that 💸 I think the bottle is fine I like it, but if you don't and you still want the juice, there is a 150ml version that has a cleaner design (it's transparent with a lid) and it's a much better deal price-wise since this is kind of an everyday scent.

I adore this fragrance. The first thing I want to say is don't judge this fragrance according to others' opinions, which are often influenced by prejudices; judge it after you smell it. I didn't get any Invictus smell from it and by the way I have huge respect for Invictus but it's another topic maybe I will write my opinion about it later. 212 Heroes Carolina Herrera has above-average performance on my skin when it comes to smell and quality I love the smooth herbal powdery smell that comes from cannabis mixed with sweet pear and zesty ginger. It is versatile. overall 8/10

The bottle is big and shiny. But honestly, I kind of like it. And I like the scent. It screams off my skin for the first 1.5 hours, then that screaming, in-your-face sweetness dies away, rather suddenly, with the base just being lazy. And, I think I can convince myself of some cannabis in there, but it's like someone smoked weed 10 weeks ago and it is just barrrley on their clothes. I wish it lasted longer, but for the first 1.5 hours, I love the sugar blast. Pro tip: don't try an ollie with your glass bottle.

I was gifted this perfume during high school, one of my first perfumes ever, and yet it remains still to this day my most complimented fragrance for some reason? The cannabis pear work together in harmony here, and people just like it. A lot of people talk badly about it but for a young man, it’s actually a top choice and an excellent intro to the fragrance world with some more experimental notes compared to the axe types.

It doesn’t smell like invictus. It’s actually more enjoyable to wear and I also do not smell no cannabis. Mind you, I’m a big pot head lol. It’s fresh with green notes so I guess that’s what the cannabis would be. You could smell the pear also. It’s really good. For the comment below me... you wear whatever tf you wanna wear no matter the age 😉

Not that close to neither Invictus or Invictus Aqua. It's more like a fresh lovechild between Bad Boy Parfum and Bad Boy Cobalt. Fresh, sweet with that tart hint of cannabis. Don't let that horrible bottle fool you...it's much better than it's reputation. Clearly aimed at the younger crowd but I'm 51 and still wear it with pride.

People called this invictus clone for make people hate this fragrance. This have invictus like dna 40% but also has own smell. This is safe fragrance smells very good fresh aquatic,herbal,fruity and little bit sweet. Smells good quality too. longevity also good 6-7 hours with good projection. This is more warm weather fragrance

I sprayed it all in 1 month, not even 2 months, there's definitely a 2nd and 3rd bottle, f. those antis. 8/10 Deducted 2 points because the smell fades very quickly, even when sprayed on clothes.

it is solid release from Carolina the top note may not be easy-going for most of us but its cannabis fades away almost quickly, turns into sthing bright, fresh with a bit sweet the drydown is to die for.. and this scent is super long lasting with average projection

OMG its nothing like Invictus wtf????? Its a very unique fragrance, very green a little bit sweet and in my case its amazing. But Invictus ???? Come on!!!! No way. Finally a very manly young supercool stuff. Only one problem is the price. Peace!

My boyfriends signature scent. Can't get enough of sniffing his neck, especially towards the end of the day, because I am obsessed with the drydown. The opening is a bit too harsh citrusy for me though. Overall great perfume for a young man.

the drydown is totally identical to Diesel Sound of the brave

I like this one but, the thing is that doesn't perform well. The projection with this is a bit weak, I'd say that project ok for 1 1/2 hours and then goes slightly over the skin. Also you won't feel the smell after 5-6 hours in a mild weather. In hot weather don ́t think you ́ll notice this one in more than 4 hours. It is slightly sweet but also fresh and green for the cannabis note (the sweet one is for the pear). I'd recommed this fragrance to go to school or something with air conditioning, the nice thing about the fragrance is that you can use it almost whenever you want. Personally I use this one as my blue fragrance. Ok for it's value but I bet you can get something better for the price. Even cheaper.

Fruity and fresh 7/10 Made for younger people obviously but can still be worn by an older audiences This is my first review on fragrantica as I'm only 14 but this in my opinion is a decent fragrance. The top note is mostly pear with a nice aromatic undertone. The cannabis doesn't smell smoked but rather a earthy smell. Also, the ginger gives it almost a spicy tone which I like. To me it doesn't smell like invictus, all though it is sweet it's not super bubble gummy sweet like how invictus is. I wouldn't blind buy it but I also heard it's hard to find bottles of it in the US (I bought it in Europe)

#1062 in my "Tour de Fragrance" This is very much in the Invictus category. The only reason I'm not loving this very fresh scent is the EDT potency. If they did this as an EDP I would definitely love it. But you know how fast freshies give out, even at EDP potency. The opening is great. Everything works here and the cannabis is mild enough that it doesn't come off smelling like the Tau Kappa Episilon fraternity house. But like all EDT's it's short lived. You'd definitely respray at lunch. Car pool, elevator and small office safe. It's okay for business and casual warm weather wear.

The opening is amazing just straight sour pear with freshness. It’s stays juicy for about 30 mins then drys down and you’re left with a sad shell of what the opening was and don’t get me wrong i like this fragrance ,smells good, but overtime i’ve started to dislike the fry down it’s just off putting for me do with this review what you will. Side note: I would not pay over 75$ for the 90ml it’s just not worth it at anything over that and even 75$ is pushing it for value. I just sprayed this to my hand,and the opening is really nice. Super fresh and sparkly,green herbal and tiny bit sweet. After about half an hour later,i do pick little bit that listed cannabis note. It's herbal and sweet,not marihuana smell. So far it's nice, nothing too special,little unic. That reminds me section is so confusing once again,most of those it's not similar at all. I use my little sample,and probably not going to get a full bottle ever. But it's not bad by any means.

I love pear notes, that's why I bought it. I understand some people will find this one too sweet or generic, and they ́re not wrong. But for the price tag is not worth it, doesn ́t perform well. After 2 hours is a skin scent. Pear notes + herbal makes a really good scent, I don't regret having it, but the price tag jus ́t doesnt make sense, I expect this one to have a lower price sooner than later. The bottle, there ́s nothing wrong with it, the atomizer it's great, long spray.

İts an simple fragrance that you can easyly smell around anywhere... An east compliament getter,best to be a teenager fragrances,like myself i can say that all of my friends on highschool love it,unlike my much elegant fragrances like Montale Honey Aoud, Bentley For Men İntense or evenly Ultra Male... İts not a bad beginner scent,but as the comments say its not unique,but i like the bottle a lot,people think its childisch,thats true but it has an unique style 🤠

you "everything-is-inspired-by-our-godlike-invictus" guys really need a good doctor. although i'm not sure if there is some cure for such ignorance. oh, the bottle is tacky, fok me, really? so what? the juice itself is optimistic, it's something which is finally not overly sweet (hurray!), little bit green and it even has something original. 7/10

Aromatic, fruity, a little green. Opening feels a bit soapy to me. Very pleasant. I can see how it would be compared to Bad Boy Cobalt, a fragrance I really enjoy. Not a loud scent. Moderate longevity. Suitable for most occassions and isn't likely to offend anyone.

I got this as a gift, absolutely loved the scent and herbal notes. However, the bottle itself is horrific, cannot stand holding it and spraying with its poor atomiser and unnecessary design. If you don’t mind the bottle itself, its an absolute safe blind buy

so what if the bottle design is tacky?? It's meant to be, it caters to young generations (15 - 24 years old). I honestly think the scent is good for what it is. y'all so called fragrance enthusiasts just hating on it for no damn reason chill

Perfume muito bom, cheiro leve mas com um toque sofisticado e nada exagerado, sua nota de pera é evidente e se complementa com o gengibre, o canabis não afeta no seu aroma negativamente, traz somente um toque herbal no perfume

I like it. Very pleasant and fun scent for warmer weather. Safe and easy going. Casual and works for office as well. Very well blended so there is no note in my opinion that overpowers another note.

Ive starting to like this scent a lot more. To me I get the pear and some what of green apple too. Nice fresh scent and i like the skateboard too lol. solid 7.9/10

Not everything you smell is Invictus. It's clearly less sweet/bubblegum and more fresh herbal and green. There is nothing wrong with the bottle.

Pear juice 🧃 and lemon haze 👀 Is a sweet, fresh and fruity fragrance. I like it and would recommend it.

212 Men Heroes is not a flanker of the 212 Men VIP line, but of the 212 Men line, whose original fragrance was launched in 1999. What is not clear, although it is a big possibility, is whether this launch will start a new pillar. On the skin, the fragrance has a delicious and fresh start, with a lot of citrus content and sweetened facets. This time, it's not the pear that dominates, but the ginger and the cannabis Lemon Haze, as both carry many lemon facets. For those who don't know, Lemon Haze came from the crossing of Lemon Skunk and Silver Haze species. It is used for medicinal purposes, as it helps to reduce anxiety and depression, as well as for culinary purposes, because of its sour-sweet taste. It is full of terpenes such as limonene, which is very common in citrus fruits as well as aromatic herbs (rosemary and mint, for example). In the first moment, one spray of 212 Men Heroes guarantees the sale with ease. The citrus smell, which seems trapped by a plastic bag, as if we had forgotten a bag with citrus fruits on the kitchen counter, after a trip to the market on a hot day, has a different side, which I had not yet felt in a fragrance. It's a positive point! The fragrance starts from a succulent and captivating state and moves towards a citrus-plastic stage, which is not afraid of appearing artificial. So far so good. As I mentioned before, it seems intentional and somewhat innovative. In fact, it's a completely different approach to cannabis, in case someone keeps thinking they're going to feel a smell similar to the one left by someone who smokes the weed. The problem, in my opinion, is evolution. 212 Men Heroes becomes sweet and characterless, like much of what has been released in recent years. We see leather in the description and don't feel it on the skin. What's left is a drying full of coumarin and musk, bringing a warm signature that goes to the oriental side and combines with nightclubs. I found the change very sudden, although I understand that it is part of the product's target audience. Durability is good, but, oddly enough, I was disappointed with the projection of this fragrance from Herrera's brand. 212 Men Heroes quickly loses strength and gets very close to the skin. That said, I couldn't end this review without commenting on the bottle. Since it started appearing on social media, the word I heard (or read) the most about it was “tacky”. Of course, I can't help but remember a very similar situation, which occurred when Invictus (Paco Rabanne) was released. Coincidentally, both brands are licensed by PUIG. However, what seems clear to me is not the manufacturer's lack of taste, since there is innovation in design and the history of perfumery is marked by bottles that somehow stand out. The problem is how (and by whom) the product is rated! 212 Men Heroes is consistent with its concept, as is Good Girl's shoe, Le Male's torso, or Invictus' trophy (as I explained in my review). It is not a perfume made for men over 30 years of age, but for young guys between 15 and 24 years old, approximately, who represent the generation that will define the purchasing power of the coming years. And truth be told, I would love to have a bottle like that on my shelf when I was still in this age group.

i have a sample of this--- i like it, but i wouldn't wear it, and frankly i wouldn't be amazed it someone else was wearing it. it smells fine but it really just smells rather generic to me and after a while it gets a bit overwhelming. i really wish i could pick up on the notes, cause on paper they seem really fun and interesting but they just sort of merge together and don't really make anything that special. underwhelming, was really hoping to like this one cause the bottle is super fun looking; i'd love to have it on my shelf.

as the bottle represents, it smells like a 14 year old skater boy its just ok, i feel theres better options for spring summer fall, if youre into the cannabis just get bad boy le parfum, that one is miles better than this one with a similar leather dry down. i was really hoping for a more juicy pear but its mainly just the freshness of a pear and just slightly sweet if you really dig it, all the more power to you, but i wouldnt like this in my collection, just returned my bottle.

A fresh scent that conjures up images of sunny, playful days. I wish it had more pear scent, which you catch initially but is quickly fleeting. Although not listed in the profile, I find this quite a grassy type smell (maybe that's what someone thinks cannabis smells like) Inoffensive and pleasant. Unless you have some fond memories attached to this fragrance, I cannot imagine anyone really whole-heartedly loving it.

Syrupy sweet pear, little bit of spice from ginger. Gets musky in drydown. For younger crowd it is alright. Not my cup of tea. More of daytime spring summer days.

Received my bottle today, what an absolute disappointment - it starts off with a touch of zesty Lemon but then... yes, Invictus Aqua!

Sweet, fruity, and fresh, with a strong base of clean musk. It’s Fabuloso agua fresca.

Skateboard + Cannabis = Heroes. 😂😂😂😂 This might be a fine fragrance, and I know I’m committing a serious faux pas by posting a non-review, but that description is hilarious. Who are these “creators?” Upper-middle class metropolitan execs who just found out about skateboarding through their 12 yr old watching the X-Games? And they think this is the lifestyle of young adult mavericks—not scroungy middle schoolers? For me, maybe 40% of all the folks I grew up with have been following that equation for 20 years. At this point, it’s kind of sad, there’s a lot of unemployment through ineptitude, endless strings of bad relationships, parents raising grandkids and/or kids growing up in the drama of the messy lives of their parents. Of course skateboarding can’t do that and weed is only one factor of many; but it was definitely sort of a starting point that a few of us fortunately grew out of. The rest just seemed to get lost in the culture, then relying on it (and other recreational substances) to deal with little short term problems (which somehow, sadly, created long term problems). And I mean zero offense to you skateboarders, or weed enthusiasts who are mature enough to use strict moderation to stay healthy and in control of your lives (remembering that what feels like moderation can be deceiving, and that goes for anything). The friends/family above were in their mid-late teens when they started, and I imagine that’s much of the problem. Regardless, consider it a cautionary tale from a guy who just wants the best for everyone. Anyhow, pardon the non-review, won’t happen again. 😬

So now that everyone's done complaining about everything but the fragrance itself, here's my review. This is a fresh and moderately sweet fragrance. I believe the note that stands out the most is pear; it's a nice juicy pear that you can smell from beginning to end. You can wear this in Spring and maybe Fall too. I don't think this is the best summer fragrance because of the sweetness, but it wouldn't be a terrible choice either. This is a fragrance for young men (if the bottle didn't give it away). That being said, don't expect this to be a masterpiece that everybody can use, because this was not even created with that intention in mind. I believe it's a good fragrance for what it is.

Unfortunately I think the tacky bottle design and name plays a small role in how people perceive this fragrance in a negative way. If this was put in a ‘normal’ bottle and a YSL logo was slapped on, I guarantee this would have a higher rating here on Fragrantica. I smelled this on someone else at the gym today and it reminded me that this fragrance is somewhat underrated. Not severely underrated as the scent is not groundbreaking by any means but it smells decent. Perhaps my nose is untrained but I don’t really pick up any earthy hippie smell from the cannabis note. Instead I get a fresh but slightly sweet scent due the pear mixed with the musk. 7/10

This is a pretty good fragrance to me. It's almost like a mainstream smell and a unique smell at the same time. There is definitely a green herbal vibe in the fragrance from the weed note but it doesn't smell like pot overall which is a good thing to me. The pear and herbal green thing goin on in the fragrance is a delicious combination and works well together. I would say it's like a 50/50 fresh and sweet fragrance. I use it in summer, it works well and projects like crazy in heat. And i bought a backup bottle of this stuff because it's very pleasant and get compliments from women. bottle is tacky but it's a solid fun summer fragrance.
