212 Sexy

212 Sexy is a nostalgic scent I grew up smelling on my sister circa 2006-2009, I've always thought I'd get myself a bottle since I love the original 212 but I never got around to it until my boyfriend (who also takes a keen interest in my fragrant hobby) got me a 100ml pill. The packaging is unmistakable, a satin metallic cylinder to which two 50ml orbs of perfume attach at either end, a really unique way of packaging perfume in my opinion and I like that I can just take an orb with me when I'm traveling rather than taking the whole bottle, it saves so much space in my bag! This is undeniably a 212 flanker, the opening is bright, sharp and crisp with mandarin and bergamot, something reminds me a lot of the original 212 at this point which I think is the combination of mandarin and bergamot, pink pepper pops out and smooths out the sharpness from the citruses giving some sweet spikiness. By the 30 minute mark, I can smell some soft florals which I presume are the gardenia and violet with something a little bit metallic, its a similar metallic undertone thats present in the original 212, but there is some sweetness, its not sticky or sickly sweet its more airy and fresh, I think maybe its the cotton candy note. After an hour, 212 sexy turns into a fresh sweet musk which is warm but not cloying, vanilla, musk and sandalwood help to give the base some heft, but it never feels heavy or like it imposes on anyone else. I do believe 212 Sexy is the right name for this, but its not outwardly sexy, it accentuates the wearers natural sexiness and allure, its not bitchy and never screams for attention but it always turns heads and gathers compliments (I got 2 in one day when I was wearing it on the train!) The longevity is excellent with 212 Sexy lasting 8hrs on my skin, I get a moderate silage which gets noticed but is in no way choking or sickeningly sweet, if anything I find it so easy and enjoyable to wear. I'd say its suitable for winter spring and fall, maybe quite possibly also summer since it is quite light and airy, I can't see why it wouldn't work in an office setting but I think its better suited to casual wear and going out though. A fragrance that truly lives up to its name... Rosendo Mateu created a fragrance that feels timeless; something that won’t feel outdated years from now, works well in almost any setting, is versatile, and carries his own signature style. Looking at his work, it’s hard not to wonder what else he might have created for his own brand. The opening greets you with a vibrant pink pepper. The citrus notes also give a nice support to this lightly spicy and lively opening. As it develops, a luminous rose and geranium start to appear over a powdery yet airy musk base. Don’t let the cotton candy note make you think this fragrance is overly sweet or sticky. It doesn’t feel sugary; it feels more like the soft side of cotton rather than cotton candy itself. It smooths out the sharper, slightly masculine cologne-like side of geranium and starts wrapping around it. This gives the fragrance a clean yet softly sweet appeal. As it moves into the dry down, it doesn’t lose its character and continues to maintain the balance it has shown from the beginning. While musk and sandalwood create a clean skin-like scent, patchouli and vanilla prevent it from becoming too clean, leaving behind a signature that stays in your mind even after it fades from your skin. Longevity on my skin was around 9 hours and the projection was quite strong. It works well in every season, but there is something especially beautiful about wearing it during spring. If you’re looking for a fragrance that works everywhere, feels like a signature scent, and stands out without becoming overwhelming, this is definitely one to try. I used to think there wasn’t a fragrance that could meet all my expectations... until this one.

Tested this because of RositaApplebum (youtube) recommnendation, she mentioned this perfume in several of her videos and she has similar taste to me, and since I've owned VIP sexy by CH before and liked that a lot, i thought it wouldn't hurt to go smell this one too. All I can say is I have fallen head over heels in love with this, it left me literally speechless. It's the PERFECT mixture of floral, warm, spicy and musky but without being a headache in a bottle. From reading the notes I can distinguish the musk, pepper and vanilla (in that order) on my skin the most. The sandalwood also lends it a slight creamy base when its completely dried down that gives it a luscious and seamless quality. I don't detect cotton candy so i assume it's merged with the airy vanilla that I smell in this. Take my review with a pinch of salt that this is a love or hate fragrance, you have to smell it and test it on your skin to understand it. This is also probably the most lasting perfume I've smelled in a very long time too. This shockingly lasted longer on me than the Armani Prive MI. This forms a nice scent bubble around you that you will get a whiff of every time you turn your head or move your arms. i have washed the jacket i was wearing when I tried this and can still smell a faint trace of it on that jacket. in fact, when I wear the same jacket some of the perfume left on it transfers back to my skin and I can smell it again. This sticks around for a very long time and the price point is fantastic, I'm asking for this on my birthday :) Love love love love love will be moving it to my favourites shelf. smell 5/5 lasting power 5/5 price 5/5

So, is this sexy... well, perhaps in a subtle sort of way, if this works with your skin chemistry and you love pink pepper. 212 begins with a blast of green patchouli and strong pink pepper, that quickly mellows out into softly sweet fairy floss (cotton candy) and smooth sandalwood accompanied by a background of florals. The florals contain something a little bit fruity and musky, and I'm not sure what the fruitiness could indicate here. The pink pepper sometimes reappears during dry-down for an edgy sort of sexiness. I like the soft, feminine spiciness that this note gives the composition, and in my opinion, it totally makes the scent. This would not be the same without it. I do like how the patchouli disappears very quickly, because it's not my favourite note, although I will be experimenting with this scent over the passage of time to determine if the patchouli will annoy me in warmer weather. So far I'm enjoying this in the cold. The overall impression is fresh, sensual and modern, and rather different from other kinds of "everyday" scents, at least in my country (I understand this is very popular in Brazil). So I suppose this depends upon where you live, but despite it's popularity, it would work really well as a staple perfume. Sillage is moderate; longevity was only for about 4-5 hours.

Back in the 2000's when I first smelled 212 Sexy I was thrilled. As a teenager my hobby was mostly to smell than buying. The market had withrawn this perfume for many years and suddenly in 2024 I found it and uploaded 1gb of all my memories and younger energy in my body. Perhaps this version is reminiscent of fragrances for men and that's what this is all about: It's sexy and unique, dfferent from many other fragrances claimed to be sexy or feminine. It's expressing exactly a creature in all facets, the ones in the past, the present and what's ahead. Powerfull, energetic, but also serious in a sexy way. These kind of scents are NOT only for men and femininity is not expressed only by flowers, fruits and powder. This creature has been there and done that, is beloved and all words are closed within this bottle! inspiration in words: "Your charm increases adrenaline. You are constantly on the move, on land, at sea, in the air. While there is alertness, with you everything flows more slowly, with quality and tortuous passion. There is a sparkle in your eyes that comes from all you've seen and experienced. You know what will happen before it even comes up. You don't open up much, because your expressions are screaming".

One of my two signature scents and has been since I smelled it on my sister as a teen and fell in love! This is the only perfume I have tried to have super lasting power while not being overwhelming and smelling truly gorgeous on skin and clothes alike. My boyfriend always comments on how much he loves it and my sister even text me once and said 'Were you over my house today? The cat smells like you'. Haha. A guy in my office also commented on how amazing it smelled. This is a perfume that works across all seasons, the pink pepper and caramel notes are warm and comforting in winter and the candy and citrus notes are fresh and pretty in the summer. The notes in this complement each other so well, nothing is overpowering and it's so well balanced. I've tried and tested no end of high end and dupe alternative perfumes over the years and this, despite being a more affordable perfume, outshines them all. I pray they never discontinue this! If you want a perfume that projects, lasts and delivers a beautiful, layered, stick your nose into your neck and inhale type of scent, this is it.

Oh my gosh this is insane Im not believing my nose Too unique wtf Weirdly addictive I do think it does smell better on 30+ cus it smells like weddings in the Middle East The special occasions version of 212 NYC Soo powdery but not the baby powder type In the opening i get a strong blast of CARDAMOM and PINK PEPPER with hints of cituses After 10 minutes it gets sweeter along with the floral bouquet of freesia gardenia lily and rose i do actually get a lot of freesia just like 212NYC with hues of cotton candy absolutely no vanilla or caramel its not a gourmand scent With softly noticeable clean soapy white musk and a powdery sandalwood in the base this is absolutely stunning When it dries down i start to get similarities to my beloved 212 NYC but this is a spicy sweeter version of the soapy bomb 212 NYC Pretty good projection honestly the 212 NYC one projects more but all of them projects just perfect A Super unique scent a huge ( not for everyone ) type of scents that i adore Im hypnotized by the uniqueness The scent:10/10 The projection:10/8 The price:10/9 Overall:10/9,5

So, I've been following the Microperfumes.com flash sales. And if you don't know, this is where they will offer a travel size on sale for a few hours, anywhere from $3.25-$9. I've been taking advantage of it to grow my collection. I've gotten to try some expensive ones that I never normally could have afforded, from Parfums de Marly, LV, Kilian, etc. I've also gotten to sample some classic, tried-and-true fragrances. This being one of them. And I have no idea how I feel about it. Reading the description is confusing: caramel & cotton candy with gardenia and sandalwood? Excuse me? How is that supposed to work? Initial smell...it truly is one of the most unique fragrances I've ever smelled. There's nothing else out there that it reminds me of. You do smell all those elements, and it has this old-school muskiness about it that reminds me of fragrances popular in the late 80s and 90s. It smells reminiscent of something my mother once wore when I was a little girl. I want to hate it, but I literally cannot. And it very much suits the colder weather.

My mother received this for her birthday from a friend and i couldn't help but try this one out :p I thought "Well, she has a different taste and preferences, perhaps it would be lame"...but what a surprise, i loved it! I told her that I even want to buy a bottle for me. It must be the vanilla and musk that got me. That longevity is so freaking huge, man! Whenever i turn my head from left to right and move around, i feel the smell after hours... And look at that design aswell. 50 mls for both sides. That's my definition for "woman in a bottle", it's not girly and candy-ish: it's sweet in the feminine way. When i have the opportunity, i must definitely purchase it. P.s. - here it is, in my collection now, 1-2 months since the upper comment. <3 I'm definitely enjoying it. Such seduction, such sensation of sexyness, so smooth and soft. Oh wow, this fragrance is all about that "S" :D I think every woman must have "212 sexy" at least once in a lifetime.

This is sweetness done right! I didn't notice the cotton candy or vanilla at all in the first spray. I usually don't like sweet or gourmand perfumes (although I do love vanilla, when it doesn't make me smell like a walking sugar cookie), so I'm not sure I would've given this a chance had I known. I'm so glad I did! The citrus and pepper hit first, and the word that came to mind was "refreshing." The drydown was really surprising, though. That's when the vanilla and cotton candy came through, but it was just a hint of sweetness to brighten up the musk and cool off the pepper, as well as add another layer to the florals. I love vanilla when it's done like this. Subtle and warm and sultry. This definitely lives up to the Sexy name. My skin eats fragrance, but this has decent sillage and longevity. Which is so surprising for the price.

This is and has always been, one of my must have perfumes since its release. I’m never without it and buy direct from their website. I find it intoxicating. I don't class this as gourmand, even though it leans ever so slightly sweet ish. I dont think perfumes that smell of full on gourmand sweets or cakes are sexy, more motherly woman baking cookies type. But I do love them. This perfume, well, It’s a class of its own and timeless. Out of any perfume i’ve ever worn, this has given me the most compliments from both men and women. Its the one perfume I will never let go and also the only perfume in the Carolina Herrera line that I love. Good girl etc seem to have a somewhat metallic chemical strength to them that I cannot bare to be around, but this 212 sexy is exactly what it is, sexy, but also classy with a glamorous feel.

The splash of citruses and piquant pink pepper open this chapter. It may not sound sexy at first, but if you are willing to wait for a drydown, there comes your reward. Vanilla hugs the pink pepper note and cotton candy seconds to it. The musk gets very prominent. I don't get powdery notes at all. Some may say this doesn't smell sexy. Well, I can see the point. It doesn't smell sexy in an obvious seductive way, but it's more like a provocative offer for a cuddle and who knows what next. Soft, incredibly sensual, mysterious and unique creation. Edit after one week: I ordered a bottle. I just wish I could bath myself in it. Edit after three weeks: I ordered another bottle cause I just wanna feel safe having a backup of this heavenly juice. To me 9,5/10.

I smelled this perfume when I was working in the coffeeshop (2007), one of our regulars, she's warm and cozy and talked to us staff. Because she smells great, I asked her what perfume she's wearing, it was 212 Sexy by CH. The perfume itself was actually loud, I mean the scent is screaming through my nose. I think she sprayed it all over her body TBH. It was a cold weather so it was ok, maybe if it is during summer, I'll have a headache. She's so kind to spray on my wrist that time because I complimented her scent. The scent for me is musky & powdery sweet which I love. I went to a perfume shop to ask for the price, it was expensive for me that time, I couldn't purchase it. I really wanted to buy though.

many reviews hate the bottle but i find the bottle design very clever and practical. i adore the scent on the other side, it is both soft and relaxing. nicely surrounds you when applied and that nice bubble stays with you at least 2 hours without a change. the phase of 212 sexy which i love most is the one right after the puff. after a few hours it becomes plain and dull to be honest but the first two hours it is very lovely and comforting. the scent itself is both caramely and vanillic and reminds me of a fluffy cake without icing. a cool but sympathic woman with a plain but chic dress. no extra ornaments, simply beautiful, effortlessly. maybe this is what makes this scent so adorable ...

Uurrrkay, alright. I like this. I usually prefer sweet, heavier scents with a hint of depression, but this is a bit lighter and fresh. I would definitely wear this. Seems like it would work for all seasons, but it gives me a spring or winter vibe. It seems like something that would be in the Juicy Couture line. I don't get the cotton candy note, but maybe powdered berries with a bit of caramel and musk. It's very pretty. The bottle is awkward. Like, what is this giant pill haha. It's double sided (lil bottle of juice on both ends). You kinda have to insert the little round bottle and twist it around to fit back in place. 10/10 for me

This is one of those fragrances that I wear when I just want to smell nice and approachable. It's a simple sweet and soapy scent with a hint of pepper. There's nothing complicated about it. Having read other reviews about its good performance I suspect mine is a reformulated one because it barely projects at all and disappears from my skin in about 2 hours. The first time I tested this I had Musc Ravageur on my other wrist which made the difference in quality painfully obvious. Regardless, it's a great everyday fragrance - I can't imagine this offending anyone. I wish the bottle and the name weren't so tacky though.

This perfume actually morphs on me! I love it in warm weather. When I'm in the house 212 sexy smells like a sweet , cotton candy with a little musk but as soon as I step outside it smells so different! Outside it is a clean sweet rose and has a green bitter fresh note...i don't know what it is. Its not patch...its possibly iris a very green bitter iris mixed with sweet rose and musk a little pink fluffy cotton candy. Its so strange to me that this greenness appears outside and smells so different than worn in the house. It lasts forever on my clothes and skin and sillage is incredible. I love it!

Sweet, feminine, sexy, sultry. It is a great perfume for those who like sweet perfumes but are sensitives when is about sweet smells or perfumes in general. I use this for years and didn't have a problem in feeling sick from it. I smell mostly the cotton candy with vanilla and sandalwood with a little wax in it but not in a disturbing way ( the same wax I feel in Very Irresistible from Givency). It's definitely great for an romantic date night. Always this perfume will be special for me because I wear it the first time I met the love on my life so I consider somehow that brought me luck, lol.

If there is any fragrance that has a perfect name, this will be the one. Every last drop of this frangrance is very dangerously sexy. I remember wearing it every single day in my 18s, it was such a statement at the time. It can be a bit sharp at first, but if you give it some time to settle and mix with your skin, the magic begins. Sweet, musky and intoxicating. It has a unique sultry vibe. Very bold and extravagant. Projection is good and lasting power is very good as well, +8 hours on my skin. This is pure perfection. This is everything I ever want in a perfume! It has the perfect combination of sweet, spicy, creamy, and powdery notes. I get mostly pink pepper, cotton candy, gardenia and vanilla. None of them is too overpowering, they actually combine together to create the most divine smell ever. It's very unique and it smells like nothing I've smelled before. I have received many compliments while wearing this. Perfect for autumn and winter, I can't imagine wearing this during summer. Shame on you CH for discontinuing such a gem!

I thought I would be in love with with this scent. Cotton candy and caramel in conjuction are a magical treat. Sadly, I expected alot. I can not really smell anything girly or pretty about this fragrance. I remember going to congregation with my fellow Jehovahs Witness and always catching a sniff of this very peculiar scent. It just smells very mature, confident and dare I say, sexy? It's a beautiful rose gold bottle which should emulate on its pretty, airy and sweet scent but sadly I think I'll stick to Aeropostale Tokyo Darling for now.

This is a nostalgic fragrance for me. It reminds me of weddings and fancy nights out I attended with my mother as a child. It was her signature perfume, and she represented a mature kind of elegance and femininity to me. I find it a bit strong at first, with an obvious peppery note that fades after a while, leaving a musky, powdery, and mature scent that is only lightly sweet, but perfectly balanced for a fragrance of this kind. It feels confident and sexy, and is ideal for special occasions, but not for daily wear in my opinion.

There is a definite harshness to the current formulation, when this was first released, it was somehow much prettier. The opening is a little abrasive, that pink pepper note is a little harsh, I just remember it being more polite, more refined. Fortunately as it dries, it gets much nicer, a white floral musk. The cotton candy note eludes me, but the gardenia comes through, and that is beautiful. It needs a rebrand, she may have been sexy in 2004, but now she's a bit more subtle, more refined. Very nice. Longevity is very good.

I see why `sexy` is an addition to the name of this one - there is something dirty about this scent, it`s like sweat on a scent..I can`t decide if I like it but it is definitely interesting. Male feedback is positive, so it is sexy. But the sweaty powderiness is something a bit too much for me, I have the same with JPG`s Classique also - nice, but either doesn`t match with my skin or the powder upsets my nose..I do recommend it tho, especially if you really want to be sexy - wearing this without knowing it, you will be..

For the past 3 years, I have had a client come in for her annual appointment and each time, I asked her what she was wearing. FINALLY I wrote it down and bought some. It smells EXACTLY as the title would suggest. Everyone compliments me, telling me I smell luxurious. My mom complimented me from across the table, so it has decent throw. Also, her compliment came the day AFTER i wore it (it lingered on my cardigan). So longlasting, which means a little goes a long way and justifies the price.

It's difficult to define 212 Sexy, because everyone has a different idea of what "sexy" is (not to mention what it should smell like). With that being said, I personally think that 212 Sexy TOTALLY smells sexy! Powdery, clean musky fragrances are my favorite and the only type I wear. Why? Because when I "go for powder" it works every time without fail. Regardless of the occasion or the time of day, this perfume is always wearable and very agreeable in any given setting. Love it!

Another one that comes from the era when fragrances used to have more than 3 notes and is still very modern. Used to be my signature and for it I left my first review here on Fragrantica, back in 2010. It was love at first sniff. The only reason I no longer own it is because the market is so diverse and I kept exploring other options over the years and my wishlist is a rollercoaster and I try to keep in line. It was my first gourmand and it will always have a place in my heart.

Really sophisticated fragrance - don’t think the name is appropriate tbh. Smells sweet at the beginning but dries down to this mildly spicy scent (yet very feminine). I’ve tried this on my hair too but this way the smell stays more linear. It develops quite well on my skin though! Perfect for the office according to me! Was a risky blind buy but worth it :) got the 100ml version which is actually two 50ml mini bottles. Good size to keep in your bag for top ups :)

This is out of my league but smells amazing. I love it. This smells like perfume. And I love those which smell like perfume. Honestly I'm happy with this blind buy. I can see myself wearing it. Its a perfect floral scent. I won. I don't find it sweet. It is very very less sweet compared to the recent perfumes. it is fruity, but not sweet. This gives me some kind of nostalgia. Maybe my mom had similar perfume in the past.

FINALLY. After hearing the rave about this perfume for so long from women and men alike, I finally got the EDP off of ebay for around $39. Authentic or not, it smells AMAZING. It smells soooooo good and heavenly. Definitely a gourmand scent and the red pepper is definitely there, but I love it. I sprayed it on my brother and I can smell the perfume from feet away. Vanilla, peppery and sweet; womanly and seductive.

This has been one of my favorite perfumes since I first got it 10 or 11 years ago. "Sexy" is truly the perfect name for this. I definitely get the pink pepper and musk, but it is the smoothest pink pepper and musk ever. The cotton candy and caramel add that beautiful sweetness, but I take it one step further and layer this with Sweet Like Candy for the most delicious, sensual, musky cotton candy scent.

I just bought this to my wife and I can't stop smelling on her! She has never tried it before and loves it. The projection and longevity are both very good, and the notes that we both get are pink pepper and Vanilla, however the dry down is all about the cotton candy. Projection: 9/10 Scent: 9/10 Longevity:9/10 Overall: 9/10 Its a fantastic fragrance!

Love this perfume, it's warm / sensual & makes me feel comforted (& sexy); a scent that I'd wear on a date night or with a cosy jumper. Its sweet but not in a sickly way, classy, perfectly balanced. The sillage is impressive, I can smell it on jackets I've not worn in a while & it still smells amazing, reminding me to wear it more often.

That is also really Good beautiful flanker obviously not better than the original 212 NYC EDT but this one also pretty the opening is a pink Pepper nuke but i start to get similarity to the NYC one in the drydown with the littlest sweet scent i mean if 212 NYC is a everyday scent 212 Se$y is wonderful on special occasions 8.5/10

THIS is what Pink Sugar Sensual should smell like! Definitely a sexier, grown up version of cotton candy deliciousness. The pink pepper and gardenia add a touch of spicy freshness to the warm vanilla sweetness. For those who like Pink Sugar but want a more dainty, everyday version of it, 212 Sexy is the way to go!

I have wanted this perfume since it came in the shops, about 2004, and now finally it's mine! I absolutely love it, it smells so wondeful on my skin, and all of you have already described it, all/only the positiv comments, and, is it sexy? -Yes, it most defently have that magic "I put a spell on you.."-vibe in it!

When I use this perfume, I think I have the duality of being both fragile and strong. The sugary sided 'damsel in distress' vibe from flowers and cotton candy becomes distressing, as notes of musk and patchouli begin to emerge. Loved to wear this, I come back to this perfume from time to time.

These 212 bottles are so interesting to me! But especially this one it is a rose gold color (which is my fave color as well) and the pink pepper and vanilla blend makes it smell like a sweet cinnamon smell to me! I have never had a scent that smells like cinnamon, can't wait to buy this!

My favourite perfume! Love it, always using it when I’m going to parties or celebrations because it’s pretty intense. The smell reminds me of cosy winter nights, it’s really warm and classy. Smell is really sweet, I wouldn’t recommend for people who likes fresh smells.

Perfection in the bottle! It's sexy, a little fresh, floral and musky. Not too sweet either just perfectly balanced. Great lasting power as well. I just hate the bottle though, but still it's a love at first sniff.

It smells really nice really pretty girly! It's not as sexy as I imagined but more of a beautiful scent. Pretty is the word that suits this fragrance best. "212 Pretty or 212 Girly" they should have called it.
