212 VIP Club Edition

Love it!😍 It's very sensual, floral and fruity but also very, very chic. It doesn't make me think of clubbing as much as walking down 5th Avenue in heels on my way to a brunch. There's an icy element to it, a bit of very mild soap underneath it all. Quite striking. It's one of my favorites.

I think there is a good composition of white flowers, musk and citruses in it. It is soapy, but in a good way. It seems to me more like a daytime scent and I don't think it's bewitching either. Just nice and clean fresh scent. A little masucline too.

Sorbet note is very intense! Mixed with musk, it makes this scent extraordinary, I mean it is clean and chic at the same time. In general, this scent is pleasant, but I also have to say that its middle notes are just too sweet for me.

I tried it quickly at the airport at the way back home.. First snif on a paper strip: Was that tee !? For clubbing? strange... I'll give it a second try another time..

I'm in love with this, I think it's chic, elegant and sensual. unfortunately it doesn't last very long on my skin!

too much parfume in parfume. really annoying .. long lasting but I feel tired while wearing this. I'm not going to buy this one

Naming this club edition, claiming inspiration from nightlife scene, the promotional picture, all is confusing. 212 VIP Club Edition is more like fragrance for days when one has no idea how, when and where their day will end, perfect daytime (even better lazy morning on the terrace) perfume. I must admit it is intriguing enough for spontaneous club visit later as the day evolves. In the very opening 212 VIP Club Edition has the scent of dry black tea leaves - aromatic, dry, almost powdery and slightly floral. Sure, that comes from citruses which all through the wear time are noticeable, but in this perfume performs as dried, candied (not sugary though) citrus, very aromatic with no glimpse of juiciness or sourness. Also patchouli is noticeable through the wear time - never heady, dominant or overly intensive, but very soft and light. In the opening also some black currant and sorbet vibes sparkle through, aromatic (greenish) and icy, almost minty. So it lasts a good three hours. Later musk appears and some jasmine is detectable, but it is not dominant. In a couple more hours only citrus, patchouli and musk stays, and stays for, oh so long. I have close to 12 hour wear of this (three sprays); also the silage is very decent (slightly stronger than moderate). Musk slowly but surely takes over and gets stronger, which is the problem for me as musk often on my skin gets disgusting, but it is not the worst in this case (very slightly sweaty polyester kind of bad). So it kind of ruins it for me, yet still 212 VIP Club Edition is pleasant and neatly done perfume. Carefree, joyful and spontaneous. Not groundbreaking or loud, but intriguing in its playfulness, almost naive.

@TheManMcessien... 'Urban'... 'club' 'AgarWOOD'... 'tree'. Anything else? Firstly, I'm gutted that this was only a limited release... I got this for my wife because I had the Men's... She doesn't often wear it but on her skin it lasts all day and I simply find the Fruit notes keep it as a wonderfully 'refreshing' and musky soft day fragrance that still goes into the evening. I would say that it 'sparkles and even though we don't go out, it would be enlivening to the senses during/after closed-in crowded clubs!

The notes above are incorrect according to the description on Debenhams website - "Full of fun and of street sex appeal. It starts with a touch of ozone ice and lime caviar, complemented with notes of wood and nutmeg. It ends with the always sensual chocolate gianduja. A dizzyingly fresh, vibrant and stimulating fragrance with an addictive sensuality." -DEBENHAMS I will certainly have to test this now to judge for myself!!

originally went in to try and buy 212 sexy as an everyday perfume over winter but this was on offer, an absolute steal at £20 for 80ml, initial smell and top notes were really good, lasted well throughout day, base notes a bit synthetic after a while but great for everyday use and top up throughout.

The review above encapsulates this cologne as one that is "bewitching, sensual and urban..." Interesting! Well for me, if you want to "bewitch" my olfactive curiousities CH, bring out something in oud for men (and concentrated as EDP in a 100ml flacon). And I'd be S-O-L-D instantly!!!

Tried it at the duty free and I thought it smelled nice but not outstanding I find it to have a bit of a synthetic edge although it smells nice It is also light so not one I need to have Too light and not great !! But nice !! I think too many flankers and the quality goes down !!?

I dont know guys .. I dont hate the fragrance and I dont love it. It has no character and nothing special about it ... just new okay fragrance .
