I didn't think I would, but I am going to give this one some serious merit. Yes, it is a little bit simplistic, but isn't everything in about the past 20 years? Once the interpretive, aquatic cyclamen gives way, the rose, jasmine, and violet floral center becomes enveloped in a classic and delicate base of powdery orris and musk, with just a hint of sandalwood that clings delicately close to the wearer, pointing with nostalgia to an age of glamour gone by. Try to catch it - and it is gone. A promise unfulfilled, but lovely just the same.

top and middle notes are fresh and exciting, but the bottom musky, amber notes make the scent a bit too masculine, the earthiness jarring with the bright fruit

Oh dear, my memory of this is not reality. I dislike this a lot, it’s dry, musty and dusty on me which is probably the orris and I get no florals at all. A definite fail for me, the only good thing is this was very cheap on eBay.

Carolina Herrera AQUAFLORE opens similarly to Moschino CHEAP & CHIC (with the same strong solvent smell...) but then morphs swiftly to a grassy/lily of the valley drydown. The grass seems vetiver-like to my nose, although vetiver is not listed as a note. I really like the middle stage of AQUAFLORE edt, but unfortunately it is far too shortlived, and for some reason the base does not effectively anchor the floral notes. AQUAFLORE is wearable enough, but not FB-worthy to me
