Kakaonun verdiği mükemmel bir nüans var. Hatta açıkça söylemeliyim ki kakao nedir, çikolata nedir; bunu gerçekten adam akıllı bu parfümle öğrenmiş oldum. Sentetik bir hissiyatı var ama bu kesinlikle rahatsız edici değil. Aksine, benim için oldukça iç açıcı bir parfüm. Sedir ağacının verdiği sıcaklık, parfüme derinlik katıyor ve insanı tekrar tekrar içine çeken bir yapı oluşturuyor. Ona eşlik eden kakao ise tende oldukça seksi duruyor. Hatta kakao kabuğunun da kullanılmış olabileceğini düşündürüyor. Zaman geçtikçe bergamot tamamen kayboluyor. Aslında kaybolduğunu ancak kuruduktan sonra fark ediyorum. İlk yarım saat için “burada belirgin bir bergamot var” demek pek mümkün değil. . . . It was one of the first fragrances I ever owned, and for me it easily sits in my top five. I bought it as a clone while carefully trying to figure out what kind of scents I truly enjoy. Over time, it became a fragrance that takes me to distant places. There is a beautiful nuance brought by the cocoa note. I can honestly say that this fragrance taught me what cocoa really is, and what chocolate truly smells like. It does have a synthetic touch, but it is by no means disturbing. On the contrary, I find it quite uplifting and pleasant. The warmth coming from the cedarwood adds depth to the composition and creates a structure that keeps drawing you back in. The cocoa that accompanies it feels quite sexy on the skin. It even makes me think that cocoa shell might have been used as well. As time goes by, the bergamot fades away completely. In fact, I only realize it’s gone once the fragrance has dried down. During the first half hour, I wouldn’t really say that bergamot is clearly present.

Few fragrances come close to the level of sexy the OG Bad Boy by Carolina Herrera does. The deep, sexy coco, tonka bean and bergamot combo, with a mild touch of peppers and cedarwood. Can't say I get much of the clary sage, but the finished product is a pure masterpiece. Opening: Peppers, Coco and Bergamot floods the senses. A fantastic vibrant opening that really sets the tone. Mid: more of the tonka bean and cedarwood comes through and the pepper disappears. Now it's full on seductive gourmand. Dry down: the bergamot lingers in the background with the tonka bean, cedarwood and coco making a mouthwatering scent. The projection is reduced a bit. But for a Bad Boy who likes to get close to the ladies, that's not a problem. If you like coco and gourmand, this is 100% a safe blind buy. And it's pretty fairly priced, with discounts and sales all the time. At the very least test it. You'll probably love it. All that keeps this from being a 10/10 is... Nothing. It's a 10/10 for me. This is in my top 10 fragrances of all time. I Pray for a true parfum version of this in the near future, with the same notes, scent and balance, but in a parfum concentrate. If longevity is an issue for you, remember that it's a eau de toalette. It's not supposed to last for more then 3-5 hours. I get more then 5 hours personally, with moderate projection. And the dry down is as good as the opening.

It has a smell within it that reminds me of a evening with summer rain after the ground has been warm all day from the heat, an earthy, ozone, almost botanical smell that is embraced by the smooth richness of the tonka and cacao. I want to say it's the white and pink pepper combined with the cedarwood that contributes to this but it doesn't smell "woody" or "spicy" it smells like a unique kind of earthyness with almost nautical energy. People say chocolate but the way the ingredients are balanced that cacao turns into a sweet earthy smell with the peppers, bergamot, and clary sage balancing it to give it something fresh and almost humid. I genuinly don't know how anyone can dislike this fragrance, it's alluring and complex. I think it good for anytime of year with more lean to cooler nights as the cacao and tonka bean just wouldn't go well with a hot summer day. Definitely a must for fall or spring and summer nights however. The longevity is decent, I would say a solid 6 to 8 hours but it does die down, silage is also moderate, 2-4 sprays and you're good. Love the design of the bottle, it's unique and different just like the fragrance. If you want something complex that isn't too overpowering and you love earthy, smooth, sweet, humid smells it's a great buy and one of my favorites.

It took me a couple uses to really start liking and appreciating this fragrance. I finally pulled the trigger on a bottle. What I really like about this fragrance is that it leans towards the deeper darker side of things but the fresh and soft spices keep it lively and very wearable during warmer months . The extreme version doesn't do that for me . The white and pink pepper give it that zing with the light citrus that keeps it nice and fresh. The sage gives it an herbal twist before the wood tonka and cocoa come in. Aside from the top notes everything else comes on in a somewhat dry musky way. The tonka and cocoa don't come on thick so it's not overly sweet and everything can play it's part. While it's not super complicated it's pretty unique in my opinion. Especially the way this fragrance balances the notes and makes what most would think would be a cold evening fragrance into an almost anytime anywhere fragrance. This doesn't project that much and doesn't have great sillage but the performance isn't bad. Light projection for just over 2 hours. Minimal sillage. But it sticks to the skin. You'll smell this close up for a good 6 hours . Not bad at all for an EDT. I feel this can be worn anytime of day and season. Maybe not 90 degrees heat but everything else is fine. 7.5/10

I hate the name and I hate that I love this as much as I do. I know a guy who wears this. He drowns himself in it, I could always know when he was behind me or when he would enter a room because this smell radiated. Which suited his personality: overbearing, attention seeking. The name fitted too, because he tries very hard to present himself as a bad boy. I ended up really loving this fragrance. The dry down is where it’s at— it’s intoxicating. Every time I would get home from his place, my clothes and hair would smell like this until washed. It smells like leather somehow, or at least a man wearing a leather jacket. It IS generic and mainstream but I still love it. The chocolate, tonka and sage are special though. That’s what makes this scent. The top notes are a bit obnoxious, like a man who you hate when you first meet because he’s loud and abrasive and says things just to get under your skin, but there’s something that keeps you smelling it, and then as you get to the dry down, the sweetness and warmth, you’re in love. And then you’re in trouble. You‘ve fallen for a bad boy and have to shell out $120 for the big lighting bolt bottle. I bought a decant for myself to keep me from making bad decisions. I can just smell like this myself.

Ahhhh...loving loving loving this!! I actually had this frag 2 years ago and I couldn't appreciate it back then. I was expecting a dark chocolate scent only and as it doesn't give that...I wound up giving it away to a friend and moving on. I smelled the "Bad Boy Extreme" in Boscovs earlier this year and thought it wonderful...picked it up but the wife said it was too strong and gave her a headache. Wound up sending it off to a younger cousin of mine for wear. So I went back to Boscovs and smelled this one, it had the same scent-feel...but far less punch! SOLD! Brought it home today and wearing it with no headaches for the wife! Honestly, it's not as strong as the "Extreme" but has the same sillage somehow. This is a much more calm, smooth and scentually pleasing version of the DNA...to me. Definitely will become my daily driver for this spring...layered with "Bianco Latte" or "Eclaire". So far, the longevity and push is amazing! With only 4 sprays it gives a HUUUUGE scent bubble and sillage trail! This is completely unexpected for such an untalked-about fragrance!! If it improves over time, this will become backup-bottle worthy. Heck...it might already be...I'm loving smelling myself wearing this. RATING: 10/10 <3

Pleasing Citrus–Spicy opening with a mellow Woody Cocoa dry down nicely adorned with that light Sweet Green quality, I don't get much of the Clary Sage, but having the essential oil, maybe that's a good thing. Definitely one for the cooler nights. Smells like an attractive Junior Executive, which is not at all bad. It manages to be both interesting and energising so it's a 4/5 for me, if its opening lasted longer than 10 minutes and the heart longer than 1 hour (but our acid skin is blessed that way), it would be a full 5. Edit: Turns out I'm allergic to cacao and it gives me a mild rash on contact, however I endure this, maybe it's artificial, so we're good my fellow allergics! One other reason to be joyous, it is free from artificial dyes. Edit #2: Sadly, the refill bottle has Violet 2 which is ever present in today's fragrances, unnecessary in my book, but they have doubled down on the attractiveness of color even when it's been proven extensively to be allergenic and toxic.

Bad Boy EDT is delicious, semi gourmand, and quite chocolaty/cacao. Love the smell, nothing special or innovative in perfumery but quite addicting. I have the EDP now and these two are completely different; yet to try Cobalt. This is more of a love making fragrance than going out with friends, etc. Sits closer to the skin than the EDP (which does indeed project much more and for longer). I'd compare this to a refined chocolate deodorant with more mystery and sensuality. Does not bring me to a more juvenile aspect, but rather mature sexy. Definitely more versatile than other sweet fragrances being wearable during the day and year-round (aside from Summer imo). Sure buying this after testing, but never paying full retail, only through discounters.

This was one of my first buys over a year ago (feels like a lot longer in this journey lol) and my opinion has really changed on it. I remember this fragrance as being spicy, similar to the BB Extreme, but without that super punch of cacao. Now it reminds me of Eros, but toned down. A more mature version. A more well blended profile. A little sweet if you dig deep. I think it's the vanilla that is used that is the same. I like it though. I think it is under-rated and slept on for a "crowd pleasing" scent. Nobody will dislike it. It is kind of dark and sexy, but never too much, which can be difficult to find in a scent like that.

After many years of fragrance purchases and trying many different styles of scents, this is one of the best for the price and one of the most complimented I’ve had. Bad Boy is the first fragrance that really projected and blended perfectly on my skin for hours. Used it daily at work and also to go out at night and it has a lot of character, gets noticed and feels very masculine and sexy. My second favorite fragrance, I'm trying to finish my other perfumes and go back to this one, it was simple and got the job done at a very fair price. The performance is the best out of any EDT I have.

It's an interesting, yet generic fragrance. Spicy at the beginning, overtime gets sweeter (with fruity notes) and more woody. When applied moderately, radiates around you, but is not overwhelming. Applying too much changes the smell into an unpleasant mess. Lasts a fair amount, perfect for an evening out, and on clothes a faint hint of it stays even for a couple of days. May be too generic for some, but that makes it a safe option if experimenting with more unique compositions is not viable. Personally, I find this fragrance great for my needs, especially in colder months. 9/10

Bought this for my boyfriend who is coincidentally an electrician... It's corny but it works. Smells amazing. A spicy vanilla cocoa scent, but don't be deceived, it's not just "simple and gourmand". Throw on the pepper and woodiness and you have a more masculine, mature equivalent of Good Girl - but for men. I love wearing GG while my boyfriend wears BB, it's cute. I also steal it when I want something beautiful and non offensive with good longevity. Also this is half the price of GG in Australia. I am happy to wear it as a 30yo woman.

I really loved this since it came out. I always disregard the inevitable hate that cringey fragrance snobs pour on popular designer fragrances, but the other day I bought CHBB Secret Garden thinking excitedly that it was an intriguingly named flanker and discovered that it is just the same again in another different coloured bottle with "secret garden" in the title this time. This chafed me a bit and now, coincidentally¿ I am starting to think that the cacao is a bit too cacaoie.

I rarely do put age reccomendations into reviews as I think anyone should wear what they like... But the other day that I tried this after some time, and it totally struck me that this fragrance just personifies a teenager going to the club. The scent is not bad, but as someone over 20 I just would be a bit ashamed to wear it. Does not suit mature guys at all. I hope that you don't find this review offensive, but it just totally struck me as a teenaager scent.

This was meant to be a cheap fragrance for early fall since I only spent ~$50 on it. It opens with a blast of bergamot, which dries down after half an hour, but it's nuclear with its projection, I've had people tell me they can smell me from rooms away with a few sprays. Longevity: Depends on the weather, if it's cool and dry I get around 6 hours if it's warmer I get around 4-5. Top notes; Bergamot, Pepper Middle notes: Creamy, Woody Base notes: Cacao, Tonka

My second favorite fragrance after Creed Silver Mountain Water. It feels expensive and refined. In my opinion, it is a very beautiful composition. Suitable for evening wear. I would call it unisex, as it does not feel harsh, but rather gentle and velvety. Many girls like it, and you can hear compliments about it. It also has excellent performance for an eau de toilette, and you can still feel it on your clothes the next day.

I tested the white bottle, (Superstar), so peoples said is the same so i will writhe the review here. Its smells Great and Modern can be wear all year around i think, coz got freshens in it, and yes its remember of Eros but Better in my opinion, Yes its little bit youngfull and night out scent. The rate of 3.5 if not justified, this is much better. Also give me little bit of Chanel Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme vibes.

I honestly don’t understand why Bad Boy EDT by Carolina Herrera is rated so low — it’s ridiculous. The fragrance itself is incredibly appealing. While it has broad mass appeal, I wouldn’t call it generic. Think of a “blue” ambroxan-based scent, but the cocoa note is what really sets it apart from other boring blue fragrances. It’s sweet, clean, youthful, and undeniably sexy. I absolutely love it.

This scent is a good value if you get from discounters. By far one of my favorite openings in a fragrance. I love the cacao and I wish it dried down to that scent but does move into a more tonka scent. I’ve gotten a few compliments stating that I smell “sweet” and someone always mentions chocolate. I wouldn’t suggest to blind buy this but it is a great scent!

Badboy Extreme is one of my top three so I already love this DNA. This version can be worn all year except for days above 22 0c. After that it gets a bit heavy but if you're in an air conditioned office, go for it. Extremely attractive scent. I have a number of Codes and Badboy does the Tonka dry down far better. Playful yet smooth and sophisticated. Love it.

A very majestic scent from Carolina Herrera usually a bit over looked.this mysterious scent consisting of chocolate and Tonka as well as a masculine musk is perfect and I even find this scent somewhat versatile Wich is odd for a scent like this.I recommend this for anyone looking for a somewhat more diverse yet distinguishing scent.

At first when I bought it, it smelt very generic and Axe-like (Temptation I think it’s called). However after not wearing it for a bit, I actually love this scent. It’s nothing groundbreaking but very pleasant to my nose. Longevity is moderate, but sillage is very loud for the first couple hours

Ladies LOVE when i wear this. This fragrance is very nostalgic to me, reminds me of the days of being in high school and over spraying axe dark temptation after practice. It is potent, long lasting, affordable; and out of all the modern sweet youthful designers, this is definitely my favorite.

My absolute favourite men's fragrance. I have a sample and considering buying it even though I pretty much only wear women's perfumes. It's heavenly and not too strong. I'm a fan of almost all the Good Girl perfumes and apparently CH hits the nail on the head for men's scents as well. LOVE.

Strong, sexy, smooth chocolate, its beautiful as winter spice , irresistible, always pick it up and wear it on my nights out, does project nicely as well, it starts mainly fresh spicy but drydown is nice chocolate along with the fresh, a must have in a collection

warm spicy amber, but also slightly floral. maybe some sweetish chocolate as well. very well balanced, fresh and refreshing.. initial hit is fresh, but develops to more complex bouquet in 45 minutes. great for all year scent. lasted 4 hour strong on my skin

One of the most underrated perfumes out there. Bashed by frag snobs, niche aficionados... To them, you need to learn to appreciate more basic, mainstream, but good perfumery. Not everyone wants to smell like civet urinated on a 300 year old coffin.

Works very well off my skin. Really good projection for 4-5 hours and lasts with slightly less projection for 8-10 hours. Good bang for buck. I personally think it smells different than the other “generic” mass fragrances too.

cleanish opening, little bit chocolatey/coffee kind of scent in the dry down its really nice, then a salty kind of musk smell which lasts on skin for sooo long, very versatile scent just not the best in terms of projection

This stuff on a CLEAN man is just....SEXY!! Makes me want to dive into their necks. Fellas this is the pantydropper frag, do with that as you may! I want it for myself as well, just too goooodddd.

I would honestly prefer this over invictus? smells more masculine while still having a fresh youthful undertone. Unfairly rated... should be rated around 4.05, the drydown is really intoxicating.

Definitely a nighttime fragrance. Very warm and comforting scent to it, I don’t pick up on the harsh synthetic notes everyone else talks about. Fairly well rounded and signature worthy.

I dont understand all the hate on this fragrance, IT SMELLS GOOD! This is one of those fragrances that i love spraying just to smell, i dont get sick of it! plus my wife likes it

Honestly i think this is just overhated because it works? it gets compliments, ladies and so on. It's just the niche snobs and jpg glazers that don't like that for some reason.

This is far too overhated, the dry down is godlike and it’s super mass appealing. It’s like a mix of a blue fragrance and a sweet one (like one million) and it just works 10/10

It's good, sweet but not annoying what I have noticed that it smells more fresh in summer and smells like a summer fragrance in summer but in winter it's strong

I wear this to school and pretty much every I ask loves it. People say it’s “generic” but it works really well for any situation in the winter.

I love this fragrance a lot, one of my favorites. I love to apply it with a black leather jacket. I get quite good longevity and projection.

Of course Fragranticans would most dislike this, it doesn’t smell like a diaper so it’s not challenging enough for such sophisticated noses

Very cacao. Surprisingly sweet. I'd say it's unisex. it smells ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!! Absolutely perfect for cold weather.
