CH Africa

I love it so much. It was an unexpected gift from a friend. This perfume is a mix of everything I like about perfume: very fresh, full of energy and sweet.

I'm so glad that i finally got my hands on a bottle of this. CH Africa opens up with a warm spicy cinnamon and rooibos tea, which is kind of strong, but then the orange sneaks up on you like a theif in the night and completely changes the fragrance. It's deceiving in a good way because my first thought upon the first spray was that there's no way in hell i can wear this in the summer. But once you smell the orange and the florals, it takes you on vacation to a warm, exotic place and you immediately understand the inspiration behind the name and the composition of CH Africa. This projects really well, but gives me about 4 hours on my skin. The bottle and charms are gorgeous. I wouldn't recommend blind buying this although i love it because i could definitely see how someone could not like it. Scent: 8/10 Packaging: 8/10 Performance: 6/10

Sooo lovely. I thought it would be really smokey incense. But I get tea and oranges and a bit of cinnamon, sandalwood too. This will be my new spring-summer-autumn multi-purpose signature perfume. The only season this wouldnt be perfect would be winter. In conclusion, I love this.

CH Africa feels like brewing a dark black tea with oranges, then saturating a khaki linen blouse in it and attempting to dry it out by laying it on dry hot sand, in the sun.. on a boiling hot desert. there's this grayish brown fume-like quality to it which I wouldn't dare denying its novelty, but it's overwhelmingly dull and... so not effervescent! the dry dusty cinnamon doesn't lighten up the mood of its incense either. very true to its name... but I just can't with it! it wears me out.. chokes me up.

Nope. Nope nope nope. I made the tiniest mistake of falling in love at first sight with a perfume I hadn't smelled before, simply judging by its notes, which all of them are some of my favorites to encounter... and in my highest hopes I simply encountered a big lot of liquid incense. This gal is simply, pure smoke and incense. In a bad way. This is offensive. Kind of similar to working in an holistic store perhaps... just no. I kinda like the powdery finish it has, but it just doesn't cut out all the smoke. Perhaps stereotipically grandma-ish.

Reminds me of original CH, but it's milder and more tolerable. Also somehow similar to amor amor tentation. If you ask me, it smells like a sour green apple, mixed with flowers,spices and a touch of sweet notes. I agree it's not that smokey, yet enough amount of incense to make it deep and original. all in all I like all CH releases and this one is no exception.
