CH Insignia

This started off a very solid westernized oud/rose/saffron combo. Now that I’ve had it for about a year it’s much heavier on the leather. There’s still a decent sweetness to it but this is by far the heaviest leather womens fragrance that I own. No complaints from me. I paid about $50 for 100ml and still enjoy the smell and the longevity! I would move it out of the feminine leaning column and into the unisex masc leaning column now.

I really wanted to know about how does this perform I cant.find a scent that stays and projects would anyone recommend this one?

Quite interesting!! It absolutely shares the same DNA of the original CH, but it is more on the woodsy and floral side! I’m not sure if the roses here are Bulgarian or not, but the rose note is the prominent note I get along with a lovely warm spicy note! The type of roses that are used in here is not the grown up or heavy unbearable rose, not at all, it’s soft and lovely. Incense and leather are playing in the background, but they don’t show up very welI, I can't feel the bergamot at all neither the patchouli! A nice fragrance for the fall, it is indeed a darker version of the original, but nothing risky. 8/10 Edit 4/5/2019: So now after using the fragrance more, I would say it is a solid OUD and Rose fragrance that is so similar to many middle eastern perfumes, I find some similarities with Wisal althahab by Ajmal, and many others, I also can smell a burnt Incense more clearly, with TONS of saffron, and I would say I changed my opinion about the fact that this edition shares the same DNA with the original version, now I can't point-out to any similarities with the original CH, the more it dries down it gets sweeter and the rose note pops out more clearly.

Notes of this one resemble some creations of niche perfumery.
