Good Girl Jasmine Absolute

As per usual for each of the new incoming release 1) trolls downvoting and so on 2) people complaining about trolls, some in desperation of getting upvotes to their useless complaints On an more on-topic comment (related to the fragrance itself), can’t wait for that release. • Minimum effort on design of the bottle, a shoe with little changes (some brands overpushed on the zeal of pursuing same line for what feels like already a decade). Companies make a mistake of thinking they would always be able to capitalize on the hype/fame/success they got with a first release, but unfortunately after some time, despite the made efforts the release a decent fragrance ; people might get a feeling of redundance and be less interested. So yeah that was a wink to Ysl libre, black opium lines and the Good girl one. • who is the nose behind that release? When no name is mentioned, does that mean it is the brand itself, with few members of their staff in charge that did that one? • This new release peaked my interest solely because of the name which mentions Jasmine, as if the highlight would be stronger on that specific note + toffee (Floral fruity & ambery?). Plus on their website, they placed this flanker as being the most « intense » (even though i am doubtful about that claim, something the brands do each time while no real change in intensity itself, which causes mistrust after a few times of being mislead by that manner. So yeah i hope in the incoming months, we will get few complete updates regarding these points by the members of fragrantica. I personally can’t wait to try Edit : so they added noses behind this release. Happy that Quentin Bisch is behind it again

I am a HUGE fan of the original Good Girl, but non of the flankers intrigued me so much as to really invest in them. This one however really got me intrigued. Slowly I have to repurchase my original Good Girl, and I am seriously considering going for this one instead. The thing is, I have always found the OG to be a special, not everyday fragrance that I would only wear to date nights because on me it translates quite heavy but also very modern and sexy. This one I find even deeper on my skin, and I love the underlying sweetness and jasmine accord. In my opinion you can really pick up on the gourmand character. I sprayed it on my skin in the afternoon, then I went home, went for a run, took a shower and I could still sniff it on my skin. So longevity is truly not an issue, nor is the sillage. At the same time - at least for me - it is anything but a summer fragrance! I would probably exclusively wear it at the wintertime, because as I said before, the depth is no joke. I love sweeter, heavier fragrances, they never really give me any headache or anything, I am one of those people who wears JPG Scandal to the beach. This one however would be too much in the warm weather, even for me. What I am thinking now, is that maybe I will use JC I want Choo for the daytime, because it reminds me a lot of the original Good Girl, just cleaner and more office-friendly, and instead of the original one, I will buy a 30 ml of this one, considering I would only use it for date nights and special occasions in the winter. It has "enough" of the Good Girl DNA, just heavier, sweeter and deeper. So let's see!

Sexy, sophisticated, romantic, sweet, balanced & well blended. It’s YUMMY, not in a food sense, in a -you're so sexy- I want to eat you sense lol. 😋😍🔥 First and foremost, I want to thank the nose behind this perfume, brought me such a beautiful perfume in the right time! Second, in terms of the negative reviews, there is NOTHING burned in here, are you sure you’re sitting next a fire pit & you got confused? The blend of almond & toffee creates a weird scent?! This perfume is blended & merged absolutely beautifully! In fact it prettier than I expected. I love all of those notes, and I wondered how main character Jasmine {based on the name of the perfume} would go with almond & toffee?! Wow, nothing is overpowering any other note here, it’s blended smoothly, the jasmine is not screaming & so as the other notes, it seems that most of the notes are actually divided & blended equally. If you love these notes, go for it! I nlind bought it & im very happy. However this is not a gourmand perfume in my opinion, so if you’re expecting that, you’re not getting it here. HOWEVER, it is sweet & you can kinda smell the gourmand notes from the almond for example & so as the “perfumey” notes/ aspects of it. I don’t know exactly how to describe it but all I can say is it’s beautifully & sophisticatedly made!🤩🥰💕

Advice ; If you like the dry down of that one ; just try the new release of hugo boss scent for her intense (2026). They both got that same coffee note in there as if it was dropped within a delicious caramel cream with added white florals. It’s very hard to tell them apart. I even prefer hugo boss release, because while good girl increases in sourness during the dry down (if you own the edp you would know), the hugo boss one becomes creamier. And i think that the notes displayed there are incomplete, it still has the similarities with the OG good girl (which i remind yall has a coffee note also: hence you now understand my comparison with hugo boss’s one) Overall performance between both is the same (even if Good girl Jasmine Absolute is louder only in the opening)

Since I Love the Og and Both Very good Girl red editions , this I decided to give a try . And ....its a winner! OMG , this is such a beautiful sexy sweetened up version to the Og , in a beautiful chocolate kinda creamy florally way. At first when you spray it , your gonna be like umm....not sure about this " kinda reaction , then it hits you .....a beautiful better version of the Og enhanced , refined and sweeter . 10/10 love this one and the Og equally. I do not like any of the CH BLUSH pink versions on me , they are too soapy . The red heels and darker heels is where its at!! This is far from stinky ! This on my skin is so beautiful! This has kinda took the OG 's spot. Ladies , dont sleep on this one. Its def not for a man.

Honestly didn’t expect to like this as much as I did. On my skin this is not a basic sweet floral at all. The opening is slightly fruity with mandarin and blackcurrant, but it quickly melts into a creamy jasmine-almond heart. The real magic happens in the drydown — the toffee and tonka make it warm, soft and addictive without being overly sugary. It gives a very “put together, feminine, confident” vibe. Not niche, not unique, but extremely well blended and honestly... very compliment-getting. Wore this with a simple outfit and it completely elevated my whole look. Not groundbreaking, but dangerously likable.

I will start this off by saying I really do not like Good Girl, however I love Blush, Very GG and all the flankers. And I LOVE Jasmine Absolute now too! I get mostly the caramel toffee note, balanced by soft florals so it doesn’t smell like food. This also has an edgy quality that’s not *masculine* but, she’s a little dangerous! A little bit of smudged eyeliner or a tipsy cigarette. The perfect addition to separate this from the hundreds of caramel gourmands out there. In comparison to the original GG, this is sweeter, smoother, and warmer! I find GG sharp and cold. A much loved flanker!

I own both the OG and Legeré, never cared for them, they are gathering dust on the shelf as I write this. But baby, this one... My oh my, what a surprise! Now i can say i like one GG. This is so creamy and toffee forward, i tested twice on sephora and i will be purchasing a full bottle because i cant get over how delicious this one actually is! If you are a gourmand lover, this is the ultimate gourmand of this line for sure. As far as comparisons to Legeré, this one is sweeter and gourmand, while the other is more on the soapy side

I dunno why this is getting hate already and why it's ranked so low, this is a gorgeous rendition of the OG. The toffee, black currant, and almond are very prominent. I think I may like this better than the OG. This review is coming from someone who loves the OG and has most of the flankers. If you are another amazing version of good girl get this. And to the haters, I'm sorry you don't get compliments when you smell like a grave covered in moss with a single wilted rose on top. You will always get compliments wearing good girl.

This is so good. UNPOPULAR OPINION- but this smells really summery on me? Almost tropical. I think it would smell good for all seasons. It is kinda fresh on me which I didn't expect, but I love it, I think it's the jasmine. It smells like going out for a fancy dinner downtown and sitting on a patio. You are wearing blush and already have a rosy glow from the summer sun since you went swimming earlier that day. I think it can be day nd night but mostly night, but it's not by any means a dark scent. love it

This is my favorite of the Good Girl line, I don’t have them all but I’ve smelled them all and most of the others were worthy of a purchase for me until this one. I wish the longevity would be a bit better but I love the fragrance so much I don’t care, I’ll just re-spray if needed. I didn’t know who was the nose behind this and when I found out Quentin Bisch was involved in the creation of this scent it made perfect sense why I liked this one so much, I literally love every fragrance he’s behind.

Yessss goodness! This is so sweet & candied! I love it a lot!!! I’m still a gourmand loving type of girly 50 % of the time! I love the scents by Quentin B. He’s I on this one. I should’ve known. 😍🥰 I never knew a toffee scent blended would make scent so candish lol “ candish” I love the bottle too!! OBSESSED! This perfume is So freaking gorgeous I am going to stockpile just in case they ever discontinue - on first spray it smells like the og good girl and I was about to be disappointed but NO hold your horses! It quickly dries down to a rich creamy sophisticated toffee tonka dream! I caught whiffs of this ALL DAY leaves such a stunning scent trail - honestly she’s so versatile - I could wear all year round from the office to date night - I’m so happy I found her 🥹

I just received my bottle today after blind-buying it, simply because it is a Good Girl Flanker! I am really impressed with how they managed to keep the DNA but also come up with such a bolder and much sexier scent! 😍 I am definitely going to abuse this scent in the colder months! Love Love Love it! ❤️ And also, I smell vanilla in this perfume but I noticed, it is not on the notes. Oh well...

Carolina you really need to work on your dry down girl, so many fragrances in this line turns masculine in the dry down. This is less masculine than the OG which turns in to literal old man's cologne on a newly washed pillow. However I absolutely love this! It's so rich, sweet and gourmand with nuts and florals oh my! I literally wanna lick this 😅

WOW!!! It haunts me, this scent is soooo deliciously mysterious! Tonka adds this warm hugging creaminess, while jasmine freshens and balances it out, so together it creates the most wondeful harmony I can imagine. The projection and longevity is insanely good, for me it's definitely worth the price.

This line is the only line I never get tired of. This was love at first sniff. I'm a jasmine lover and the toffee and tonka makes this such a delicious and warm scent. Unfortunately the jasmine goes away within the first hour or less. Caution is required, it can be overwhelming.

I don't like original Good girl, but this one, I am obssessed. This is way better than the original. Its more gourmand and wearable. My biggest regret is that I bought the travel size and not the full size. This perfume is so feminine, grown up and sexy. O-BSSESSED.

Feels a little smoother than the OG. An alluring sweetness. I usually get headaches from overly sweet or fruity perfumes, but not with this one. It's wearable for many occasions, seasons, and times of day. Worth the money if you love this kind of scent.

Coming from a huge hater of the OG and basically all its flankers... this one is SO sexy & warm. Jasmine petals covered in the most delicious, fresh, succulent honey. The dry down also emits this sultry smokiness that I’m just obsessed with!

I work with fragrances and I put this on my wrist at 9am yesterday, it’s currently 1am and I can still smell it clear as day. Gorgeous perfume and definitely on my wishlist. Best out of the Good Girl range in my opinion.

I smelled almost every new release in Sephora and this was the only one that completely blew me away. This is gorgeous!! The toffee and jasmine makes this so much richer and dense than the original. A wonderful release.

Gorgeous!!! Stunning!! This is one of the best flankers of this line. I adore both the original and the supreme version. But this one is adictive and people around you can notice ❤️ and let you know how good you smell.

I love this! Haven’t smelled the others in the line so I can’t compare but it’s a warm jasmine, anchored by velvety tonka and almond. The jasmine isn’t overpowering and works beautifully with the other notes.

This is the only good girl I like, or actually I love it. I dont get the top notes at all, its very toffee and jasmine in a soft generic way, yet not boring at all like everything else in the good girl- line

This is the first one from this line which I really enjoyed. I tried it at Macy’s today. Very toffee and a bit flowery, feels comfy in the cold air. In the dry down resembles the original one. Love it so far

I’m obsessed. It’s creamy without being cloying. The jasmine blends so well with the toffee - it’s feminine and soft but still a statement. I got complimented the first time I wore it. 10/10

Not as much jasmine as the name suggests. I'm still debating whether to buy it because it seems too similar to the original, and besides I really don't like the high-heeled bottle

Sultry sexy woman in a black silk gown with a hint of thigh showing....that's what this scent evokes. Creamy and floral with subtle hints of dark fruits all blended beautifully.

I don’t like any of the good girls but this is an exception. It smells like sexy cocoa butter. I wish it came in a different bottle but it could double as a weapon if needed.

I hate the OG and all the flankers are indifferent to me, but this one...wow! I love the sweet vanilla-toffee (and the signature og DNA blends in a sexy way to my nose). Yum!

Well, I ended up with an 80ml of La Bomba, a new release from CH that was just an OK in the beginning. The deal I found it was unbreakable. The problem is that Q. Bisch is my favorite perfumer and I can 'smell him' in almost all of his creations. My signature it's his, it's La Belle from JPG (that recently became less complex, the bottle looks 'cheaper' and the juice looses it's power in less than 2 years compared to the older bottles with the golden roses around the neck). Tragic. La Belle EDP from JPG, Pure XS for her from Rabanne, La Bomba, Guidance from Amouage, they share that base note and a good sillage/lasting power. It's a bitter/fresh/musky vanillic sweetness to die for but in each of his perfumes mentioned above the star is one. It could be pear, popcorn/ylang-ylang, pitaya etc. Sorry for the long introduction but I had to express it since we live in the era of thousands of new releases, lower qualities but higher prices without excuse. We go straight to Good Girl Jasmine Absolute, a part of the Good Girl family that counts so many editions already (discontinued and not). If you already have the original or the Supreme edition which happens to have both, trust me, you don't need it. If you don't have any of them and you find them 'too much' or harsh, then Jasmine Absolute might be a good option for you. I never paid attention to the discontinued Legere edition with the dulce de leche note but GG-Jasmine Absolute is like the EDT edition of the original. I don't know why so many influencers said that is too dense or very strong. To me is more airy and wearable, let's better say versatile and I did spray enough for a good test. In a few words, imagine the original toned down, less bitter or aggressive (with the good meaning), more polite, expressing the same confidence aura and with a 'toffee caramel' note hidden in the mix. It's a pass, it hasn't good longevity but since it's less complex, it could be safely used even during hot days. At least CH's perfumes have some character and the quality is guaranteed, but yeah, thank God it's a pass.

I'm at the Airport, strolling down the Duty free section and spotted the high heels display of Carolina Herrera. I was never a fan of the shape and found it rather tacky. But holding the Flakon it feels hefty, weighty and expensive. Yet None, neither the Original nor the Flankers, ever convinced me of getting a full bottle. I mean they're fine, but to me it lacked some depth. Then I saw this Jasmine Absolute version. I love jasmine, so I sprayed. Immediate regret. Merely any jasmine in my nose. I went away and wiggled my way down the terminal. Wait a minute...i get whiffs of something delectable and I could not fathom what it was, until I smelled my wrist. It's jasmine absolute! Creamy white floral with a beautiful and seductive Tonka base! It reminded me of Jean Paul Gaultier La Belle Le Parfum, which also has a fruity opening and a delectable Tonka base. The entire flight I was smelling it and the moment we touched down I went online to purchase a full 50 ml. It's a Flormand, without getting TOO edible which I like and the projection with 2 sprays is a room filling. Sillage is absolutely noticeable. My patients also love this scent and asked me what I am wearing. I'm not a gate keeper, so they all know. 😗 Longevity is great for a designer. I smell it on clothes days after spraying. On skin 12 hours. If I want more jasmine I layer it with one spritz of Alien Mugler, to make it darker and more seductive. I am surprised how much I like this. Would recommend.

Much like @Myrtthe, I'm still undecided as to whether or not I like Jasmine Absolute. :P The Good Girl DNA isn't among my favorites, but the base note combination sounded delicious and piqued my interest. As someone who loves rich gourmands, the denseness of this is still perhaps too much for me though. It is HEAVY. Imagine a cheap, gas station coffee chock full of artificial toffee-flavored creamer.... and someone sprayed OG Good Girl on the lid. Despite it being far too sweet and overbearing, you just keep drinking it anyway after ultimately deciding it's not that bad, but it's not that good either. Nevertheless, I'm going to try it again on a colder day. Stay tuned! ** Update 3/1 - Tried Jasmine Absolute again today after the weather took a significant cold turn, and I'm enjoying it way more! This is perhaps not one to wear during warmer temps or if you've been on a fresher fragrance kick in the days prior. That makes its sweetness all the more jarring! The dry down of this is nice if you're a fan of rich gourmands. The top and mid notes still clash with the hyper gourmand base notes to my nose, but that phase doesn't last for long. I think die hard fans of the OG Good Girl DNA might not be impressed with this flanker, which is understandable. If you're not a fan of the OG but love gourmands, you'll probably like Jasmine Absolute considerably more than the rest from this line.

Just bought a travel size of this to bring with me on vacation. This seems like it’d be a great date night/club perfume. It’s STRONG and radiates which is amazing. I don’t like many of the good girl flankers except very good girl glam that my mom uses & the elixir version (they smell even better than this one) and I suppose now this! This is a gourmand take on good girl but it still carries the original DNA (of jasmine) with the toffee added in. My only complaint is that it could probably only be used for the cooler months and also that it’s a bit too thick/dense for me, I typically enjoy more airy perfumes so that it doesn’t bother my nose. I don’t know if I’d buy a full size of this but for now I’m enjoying it! EDIT: After wearing it a bit, the toffee is too sweet for me and kind of the only note I really smell. Therefore I’d definitely not repurchase this. I think I’d like it more smelling it on someone else rather than myself.

I saw a comment under OliviaOlfactory’s review of this saying it smelt like a stale gas station cupcake got sprayed with Good Girl (Nicole.3 below said something similar) and I think that’s pretty accurate except it’s a toffee muffin. Yet I still like it??? I absolutely agree with the consensus that this can be worn anywhere and I find this particularly delightful in making me feel more sexy in my day to day life. I think perfumes can struggle to choose between being sexy and cosy and this has mastered the art of both. I don’t like it enough to buy but I am enjoying my time with it. I said in my Good Girl review I wanted to try the varieties for some OOMPH, this does deliver but is a little close to the original Good Girl for me to be in love with it.

This one is A LOT sweeter than the original and I've found that if worn when the weather isn't exactly right it can very easily be cloying -- more so than the original. Like I would only wear this in cold weather and not even try for those "kind of warm" spring or fall days cause it can easily become too much. I am a jasmine lover, so I really loved it when I first tried it last winter, but once the seasons changed to spring I started to notice the base a lot more than I did when it was colder and I quickly realized just how rich it is. I even did a side by side test with the original and this one when the seasons were starting to change and the original was able to avoid being quite so cloying as this one does.

This to me is a very sweet gourmand perfume with hints of white flowers in there. Initially it's smooth and sweet. I can smell caramel and jasmine in it, it smells like a luxurious body lotion. After it dries-down you can really smell the toffee and the bitter almond in there which balances it out a bit and gives it depth. In this stage, I can't really detect the flowery notes anymore. I think it would be very cloying during summer, but could be ideal for the colder months. The longevity is good, it still has a nice presence after 6 hours. It's too sweet and sugary for me, but if you are into gourmands, that smell like a piece of cake - like Lattafa Eclair or Bianco Latte - I think you will enjoy this.

the good girl flankers keep impressing me! i'm not huge on the original but so far i've found that all of the flankers are way more appealing to me. jasmine absolute starts surprisingly very creamy for me, almost quite nutty and lactonic. this one really feels like it goes on a journey as it develops on your skin. the drydown is where that sharp (in a good way) jasmine note comes out with hints of tonka. i've never really liked jasmine in a lot of perfumes but this might have changed my mind. it's a great flormand! longevity is great but this one seems to sit more intimately than the others do in terms of sillage. nonetheless, this impressed me and i'd consider getting a bottle in the future.

made the mistake of spraying this on a whim and it lasted all day long, eternal is the best word for its longevity. this is the first out of the good girl line that i actually like! the jasmine is VERY strong, albeit to me it reminds me more of a patchouli and frankincense type of smell. like a dirty jasmine, not your typical floral pairing for jasmine. but the tonka and toffee come out after the dry down which helps sweeten it out a bit. i don't typically like jasmine, so if you're looking for a floral or sweet type of smell this isn't for you. this is like good girl gone grunge imo
