Good Girl Légère

This is one of the best offerings at Ulta (in-store). I've spent a lot of time, on multiple occasions sampling their perfume section. And I would say there's only maybe 6 (feminine) perfumes there worth buying (according to my tastes), being: Ariana's Cloud 2.0, La Belle, Burberry Her Elixir, Black Opium Extreme, Billie Eilish #2 (#1 is a nice fragrance but have no lasting power on me), and possibly Armani Code for her too... There are some other brands available online that I own some faves from (namely Ellis Brooklyn and Lake & Skye). This is my favorite out of the Good Girl line though and probably the only one I really need to own, since I'm not huge on many Designer fragrances. I want my fragrances to have a little something different or unique or just plain yummy lol... I love the lactonic quality in this perfume. It is a warm sweet floral gourmand. I am usually not crazy about citrus notes on their own, but this doesn't come off as citrus-forward. The citruses are more to give it a certain brightness and counterbalances all of the creamy warmth & sweetness in the base and, and it works really well here. This is non-offensive and may be seen as a little "deeper" - for a designer frag**, but I wouldn't call it dark or deep. I could see wearing this on just about any occasion, probably wouldn't reach for it on super hot days though when i prefer to wear something more musky or fresh. Great for date nights, but I would also wear to work because the projection is just right IMO. You just be smellin like a SNACK 😋 I bought the 2.7 FL OZ version (brand new) for $60 on Mercari. I wouldn't pay even near what Ulta is charging for it. Happy to have it.

I took the risk and blind bought it because I was really curious about the notes, even though I don ́t own the og (or any of the previous flankers for the matter) and I wasn ́t really sure of what I was gonna get. I ́ve tried some Carolina Herrera ́s fragances in the past and wasn ́t impressed with the quality so I was a bit ecceptic. Needless to say I was wrong on this one! The opening is SHARP, I ́d say almost masculine, maybe it ́s the Ylang-Ylang. But then you quickly get the white flowers notes, and the dry down is to die for. I disagree with dulce de leche being the most prominent, on my skin, I get tonka bean the most. I also don ́t find it that sweet. Either way, it ́s a complex, well pull together fragance. A compliment getter for sure. In my opinion, suitable for different ages and versatile enough to wear it all year around, even summer evenings since I don ́t find it heavy. It ́s special and sexy to wear it on a first date but friendly and safe even for work. The longevity is great, and the sillage moderate, but I don ́t mind. I HIGHLY suggest you to try it, even if you ́re not familiar with the previous Good girl like me. However, I ́m not sure if they ́re similar enough and if it ́s worthy having both if you already own the original. Will definitely re purchase! ♡

Upon first testing: The opening notes I get a delicious caramel-like scent with some hints of chocolate. I personally don't get the citrusy notes at all actually. The dry down is quite similar to what the original good girl smells like. It feels like a sweeter version of the original good girl, and is also very gourmand. It is creamy and sweet, yet slightly dark and quite classy. Personally, I have more of a preference to sweet, fruity scents, but this is a good break from my usual type of scent. I don't always feel like wearing something so sweet and fruity, I think this would be a good change from my usual. It's sweet while not being too overwhelming. Overall, I love this. So far I've only spray tested once, to test for longevity and silage, but I think this will join my regular rotation of perfumes. It's a pity that it's gonna be discontinued. Edit: now that I've used it a couple of times, I can get the citrus notes in the beginning. It still smells good, and the citrus isn't overwhelming and it feels kinda fresh and sweet. The dry down is still that delicious muted creamy caramel/vanilla smell. The longevity is great, lasted me a full 12 hours, however the silage is terrible on me, can only smell it when I bring my wrist up to my nose.

I find the Légère to be a softer, airier interpretation of the original Good Girl. The almond and coffee in the top notes have been replaced by orange and ylang-ylang, so it’s fruitier and more floral in the opening. The floral notes also play a bigger role in the heart of this composition. In the original, they were kind of a supporting role; in this one they are running the show. I’d say I’m smelling more jasmine and tuberose (plus that original ylang-ylang) than the rose or orange blossom. The cacao and vanilla in the original’s base have been swapped out for a really nice dulce de leche accord, but there are still a good bit of other gourmand notes in the mix (cinnamon, tonka bean, praline). There is also quite a pronounced amount of sandalwood. The patchouli and cedar give it a slight green-clean quality. Both fragrances are sexy and ultra-feminine, but this is light and fresh where the original is thick and sultry. Overall, the Légère has the Good Girl DNA with just enough of its own personality to justify my keeping both! LOL

This is honestly the sexiest perfume I’ve ever worn. The dulce de leche note is amazing, it’s sweet, but not in that overly sugary, edible way. It’s mature, rich, and just perfectly balanced. I can definitely pick up the praline in there too, and it blends so well with the cinnamon and florals, adding warmth and depth. The whole scent has this multi-dimensional vibe that evolves as you wear it, which I love. The ylang-ylang stands out for me, and is sort of tying everything together, both with the floral notes and those deeper base notes. And the citrusy opening kind of reminds me of a sweet treat with candied citrus zest. It gives the perfume a fresh, playful start before it deepens, which is exactly why it smells not overly gourmand or edible, yet very seductive. I’m seriously bummed that this fragrance got discontinued. It is the first sweet perfume I ever liked because it isn’t just sugar, it has depth and sophistication. If you’re lucky enough to get your hands on a bottle, it’s totally worth it

This is SO good. I don't like the original GG, I much prefer this flanker. It has that fresh and citrusy/zesty quality to it, but with a soft, sweet, creamy and slightly spicy background to it. It is beautifully blended as I can't really decifer one note that is particularly prominant more than another (maybe bergamot?). Anyway, if you want to smell like a delicious spicy lemon cookie this is for you. It is incredibly sexy, and I always get compliments when I wear it from both men and women. I love that it's not too strong of a fragrance either. I usually like to wear it when I go out in bars and such, but I also wear it casually whenever I feel confident and sexy. Has about an arm-lenght projection and I get around 6hrs+ of wear-time before it becomes a skin-scent which is decent for me. Overall, very sexy, compliment getter, pretty versatile and unique. I love it, and will definitely repurchase when I run out. 9/10

Smells like skinny jeans, cashmere jumper and black suede jacket kind of scent. On a cool, spring afternoon. Having vanilla milkshake while strolling through the park. First date perhaps? Seductive, playful and catching attention without being loud. On my skin it's very (!) different to original Good Girl. It's soft and creamy without heavy accords. "Expensive soap" creaminess starts in the dry down, when the cashmirwood and musk make their appearance. The scent radiates from warm skin giving that elusive, sensual "out of the shower" feeling. Longevity is outstanding! It stays 8-10 hours on my dry skin, something only few other perfumes in my collection manages (even my beloved Narciso leaves me after 4 hours max). GG Legere on the right person is a big compliment getter. It's a refreshing surprise and will definitely perform well during British spring and summer nights :)

Beautiful, creamy, and just the right amount of mature. Good Girl Légère is one of those perfumes that makes you feel like you’ve got your life together and smell delicious at the same time. There’s this warm tonka base that cosies everything up, and the creamy dulce de leche note with that praline? Stunning. Sweet but smooth, never cloying. It’s got a soft floral touch that keeps things balanced and elegant. Wore this on a date night and my fiancé gave it a full 10/10. He couldn’t stop telling me how good I smelled. It’s sexy without trying too hard. Think silky skin, dim lights, skyscraper heels clicking on the pavement. I’m honestly sad I only picked up a sample. This is full bottle worthy in my opinion. Would reach for this any time I want to feel confident, feminine, and just a little extra. Perfect for evenings, cuddles, or when you want to turn heads.

My aunt wears the original Good Girl, and I love how the fragrance lingers around her. As a sweet fragrance lover, I always thought, a little bit as a joke and a little bit serious (since I'm not a girl), that one day I'm gonna buy a bottle for me. Today the day came, but instead of the OG, I came across with this beautiful version Légère, with 20% discount. I tried it out and I'm immediately fell in love, (again). Its sweet, playful, creamy vibe, it's my thing. I sprayed more fragrances on different parts of my arms, and went for a long walk outside. As I was doing my things, from all the fragrances I had on me, Good Girl Légère was coming over and over to my nose making me fall more in love with its sublime sweetness and creamy white flowers smells. I didn't care to walk all the way back to the shop and finally purchase my first Good Girl bottle.

I revisited my bottle last weekend and I was reminded why this is my favorite Good Girl. The mix of white flowers is well blended, and the dulce de leche + tonka bean works perfectly on my skin. It's a very interesting gourmand fragrance, with excellent longevity (I applied it at 6:30 p.m and could still gwt some whiffs the next morning). My husband loves it on my skin. It's a sexy frangrance without being too loud. . The OG GG, although is a pleasant fragrance and I totally understand its popularity, just doesn't work on my skin, it has very poor longevity, being completely GONE in less than 3 hours (I used multiple samples, tried it from the bottle at least 3 times in different stores, just to be sure). . My GG ranking is: #1 GG Légère #2 Very Good Girl #3 Good Girl Blush (which I'm planning to buy at Black Friday this year)

I'll post a better review later but for now I just wanted to talk about the lasting power so far. Most of the Good Girl line doesn't quite smell the way I think it's intended to on me, so I haven't been inclined to purchase one but my boyfriend got me this one yesterday and I do enjoy the scent so far, it's very ~me~. I sprayed it last night before bed to test longevity as I usually do and about 12hrs later it was still a very lovely skin scent with just a whiff of it in the air. But I wanted to test a new perfume today so I tried to wash it off my arms. When I tell you I had to SCRUB AND SCRUB AND SCRUB to get this off of me. It is a bit lighter than the original (which I think gives it more versatility) but don't let the lightness of the scent make you believe it doesn't have the lasting power because it does.

Lighter version of the original, still sweet but not as heavy and dense. I can detect the citrus in here lifting it up and giving it lightness. If you found the original too heavy-hitting, you may like this one. I think this one is maybe a little more versatile - it comes across as more of a daytime scent than the original. I daresay this one may even be office-appropriate, if applied with a light hand. I still get pleasant whiffs of it though after only a couple of sprays on the back of my neck, so it does still has the strong sillage that I’ve come to associate with the entire Good Girl line. And unfortunately I think this is being discontinued in 2024, however it’s currently still widely available including at the major department stores and directly on the Carolina Herrera website.

I have bought this for multiple people in my life and this has to be my favorite female scent ever made. I collect fragrances female and male and this fragrance stands at the top of my list. This is perfect for any time and I haven’t found a single person to say they hate this. This a sweet but it has depth that gives it such a nice twist. There’s not too much floral, spice, or wood it’s just perfection. This is 100 times better than the regular good girl, it’s takes the dna and makes it stand out so much more! If you love sweeter scents, I couldn’t see anyone hating this. I’ve gifted it to about 10 different people with different tastes and they all brag about how much they love this! Give it a go for sure, you’ll regret all the time you didn’t.

Just a lovely fragrance. I’d say though this doesn’t massively differ from the original it has a few tweaks that really set it apart from the og. To my nose one of these would be the introduction of more of the dulce de leche which i love. I feel as though in first spritz this has a far more citrusy sweet vibe though as it calms and settles in your skin this beautiful light floral beams through. If i’m honest the first time i smelled this perfume i could not stand it haha. I think as i was used to the sharp coffee notes of the original this was a real shock to the system. I have grown to really love this perfume and i’d say it’s now one of my go to’s. I would say however the lasting power of this fragrance is sadly average at best on skin. :)

This is one of the sexiest perfumes in the designer market, it’s not talked about enough. The opening is very sweet and fresh, but the dry down is where the magic happens. The dulce de leche blends in with the tonka bean, creating the most beautiful creamy & gourmand base. It’s marketed as a lighter fragrance for spring and summer, but I personally find the gourmand aspect of it to be too cloying in the heat. This perfume is not light by any means, I threw on a couple sprays before work (after it macerated in my collection for a few months) and i definitely turned a few heads. It’s one of those perfumes that just smells TOO good and way too sexy, it captivates those around you. 10/10.

How to start.. this one is amazing, such a beautiful scent. Smells very similar with the original on me which I love it, people say that this one is not that strong as the OG but has the same power, almost like a headeache😁 It’s very sexy, fresh, but not too fresh because it’s also sweet,more lighter and I would say this one is for every occasion but seeing how it lasts and projects, for me on date nights. Not sure if i love this one more than original but I started to love it so much so I probably will😂. One of the sexiest perfumes and quickly became in my top favorites. This and the original are TOP from GG collection❤️

I am absolutely blown away by this perfume. I was looking for a sweet perfume and this one is amazing. I tend to stay away from perfumes with tonka beans in it as they tend to smell awful on me but this one suits me so well. The opening is very floral and that's when the tonka bean is the most potent but the dry down smells really sweet and warm. To me is smells like sweet milk and coconut with a hint of spices and musk. It lasts a decent amount of time on the skin i'd said up to six hours but its stays for literally days on clothes. To me this perfume as a similar vibe as La nuit Trésor nude just way more likeable.

This may be one of my most favorite perfumes I've ever tried. I grabbed this from TJ maxx last night thinking it was the original, until I went online looking to buy another bottle and saw the difference between the light gradient of this bottle and the darkness of the OG bottle. This will be my new everyday scent. It's the perfect balance of floral and sweet, not cloying in the slightest, and a uniform crowd pleasing scent. I am a gourmand girl usually, but working in healthcare, having a straight monster level gourmand isn't always the best choice. Look to find it in the case at tj maxx!! I got mine for 56$.

Probably the best version of GG. Smoother, feminine, sweeter, long lasting, projection is mad! Lingers all day long and still can smell it on my clothes a few days later. If the original feels too strong or too masculine for some, this one is the way to go. Still has the GG DNA, but all the sweetness from dulce de leche, praline and cinnamon makes it more appealing and delectable, while citruses and white flowers add the freshness. Perfectly blended, an absolute masterpiece from CH House. Such a shame it’s discontinued, same with Supreme. We got generic rose/cherry substitutes instead...

I absolutely love this one. There is a lovely super addictive sweet dominant note, probably Dulce de leche, that reminds me of childhood, joy, cozy evenings by the fire, bright sunny carefree days. Such a shame it performs so lightly on my skin. I wish it was slightly stronger. The top notes are almost inexistent to my nose, the white flowers are very subtle and complement the base notes, I feel no rose. It is a very well blended perfume. For me this is definitely a super safe day time perfume, very light, creamy and sweet, inoffensive, I will be wearing it a lot at work.

I’ve fallen in love with this perfume! It’s gorgeous and delicious! I received two samples of this perfume and not knowing anything about perfumes I would just rush and throw it on before work. Every time I walked past my work fleece that was hung up at the end of the day I caught whiffs of this fragrance and it was beautiful! Plus the longevity is great! I would spray the sample before work and days after I’d catch a trail of this! It smells like airy fresh spun caramel! It’s delicious! I personally find the original boring but this is beautiful!

Good Girl Legere is a delicious, playful scent. At first you get a lot of citrus fruity notes and a blend of warm, sunny florals. You quickly get the dulce de leche which is very a distinguishable note with a creamy sweet "taste". This definitely leans more towards the sweet side along with some dry elements, but it also has a citrusy sour vibe that not everyone will love. To me it is better than the original that smells a bit dusty and heavy. The longevity and sillage are good and this can be worn preferably during fall, winter and early spring.

I LOVE how this smells! To me, the original good girl was generic, heavy floral, pungent sexy night out perfume. This one however, is more unique. The blend is beautiful, there is a slight citrusy note on the opening. There is a creamy, toffee like element to it that shows up very clear after the dry down, this creamy element tones the sweet sharp florals down and make it more rounded. Legere to me, is a yummier gourmand leaning version of the original gg. It is less sharply sweet, more complex, and more delicious!

Legere is my favorite Good Girl from the line.....with Suprime being a close second. Love them both way way more than the original. I don't totally hate the smell of the OG but a certain aspect of it leaves me nauseous. Legere is all about those base notes but especially the dulce de leche. This note reigns high in this scent imo. It's lighter(hence the name) for appropriate daytime use but strong enough to be wonderfully noticeable. Moderate longevity and projection. Would 100% buy again. :) 9/10 rating

I got this perfume today and I was not going to review it but I have been re-spraying this through the afternoon and night. And not because of poor performance but because I swear this has to have something addictive. I don't even like Good Girl that much and this smells very similar but better, if that makes sense. I think it is closer to GG Supreme. I'm not sure if this is discontinued or not but I am very glad I got the 80ml. I really wish they don't discontinue this. IMO it's better than the OG.

Good Girl is my husband’s favourite on me and although I love it I prefer soft creamier notes of Légère, especially the dulce de leche. I think the Good Girl range is possibly my all time favourite range of perfumes I have loved all of them so far and each are so different from one another. Contrary to popular opinion I am a huge fan of the Good Girl shoe I think it is unique and as distinctive as the juice it contains, they sit proudly at the front of my perfume wardrobe

Smells delicious and I can't stop sniffing! It's slightly spicy, sweet but not cloying. While being sweet it is also fresh in a way, the citrus balances the sweetness perfectly. I find this has the best execution of the ylang-ylang note as it has a tinge of tropical sweetness without being overbearing. Great for anyone looking for an easy to wear and interesting gourmand. I'd say this is a safe and comforting fragrance but might not impress the more adventurous sniffers.

GG Légère, a true beauty! I finally have this in my collection and as a gourmand girl, this fragrance speaks to my love for gourmand but makes it slightly more complex. It’s this combination of creamy sweetness and sparkling white florals. In the opening the citrusy notes shine through, but the creaminess steps in and creates such a nice blend. Definitely not your typical boring gourmand! An instant love and I plan to keep it in my collection 🤍

This is the only perfume that I have regretted reselling. I bought it before I was pregnant and LOVED it. Then during my pregnancy it started to smell different almost like Barbie doll heads (weird, I know). But I recently tested it at Ulta and it smelled sooo yummy! Mmmm everything I loved about it was back. And now I’m considering repurchasing it again to bring it back into my collection. It’s a unique designer fragrance.

Absolutely beautiful with an airiness of elegance, a softer take on the original Good Girl parfum! The original Good Girl's younger, soft-spoken sister, as the citrus and floral notes add a sense of youth yet maturity with the remaining base of tonka beans, though I wouldn't wear this out and about purely due to the mature complexity; it's definitely for formal events more than a picnic day despite its lightness.

I like the original Good Girl, but I LOVE the Legere! I find original Good Girl doesn't last very long on me, but Legere stays for hours and hours! (My husband also compliments me every time I wear the Legere!) I totally agree with @AngelBritney, that the original should have been named "Bad Girl" and the Legere "Good Girl"; Legere definitely seems like a sweeter, more innocent version of the original Good Girl.

The best version of Good Girl. Such a yummy caramel + milk + tonka beans. Sweetness is delicious and tender. Longevity and sillage are twenty for hours and more on clothes. Though many people say the bottle is ugly and vulgar, I love it! I really like this idea of a shoe form - unusual and attractive. If you like extraordinary sweet and strong fragrances and gorgeous bottles, this will be perfect for you!

I found the og gg a bit too in my face but it smelt good but just in my face. And the legere one just smells amazing!! I dont think its suited for spring or summer cos its quite strong buuuut Its winter right now so i might wear this one more often i guess yayy Addn: To be very honest, this is niiiiice. Very creamy but not screechy. Hasnt given me any headaches or dry retching moments. Perfect.

My boyfriend bought me this perfume as a gift and I am absolutely amazed at how versatile it is. This could easily be a daytime or evening, work or date night perfume depending on how much you spray. It is feminine with the florals, playful with citrus, and still very sexy with the musk and cedar notes. It dries down to a very lactonic and creamy scent. I absolutely love this!

This is the best Good Girl and one of my favorite designer fragrances. It is a softened creamy but airy sweetened floral. It has some of that Good Girl DNA without being cloying. I find a lot of designer fragrances can get cloying but this strikes a nice balance. For those who enjoy sweet florals, bordering on floral-gourmand but not quite that gourmand. Lovely date fragrance.

I’ve been using this perfume for YEARS. My only Carolina Herrera favourite, going to do my best to describe it as if it’s the first time. ❀ Sweet - fruity with a touch of spices, LACTONIC PRESENT. ❀ Doesn’t really lasts, the longevity is weak (2-3 hours) , but when you spray it, it’s strong enough. Very light and girlie fragrance, the best from the collection so far.

This is really growing on me as one of my favorites. It's a lovely sweeter and lighter version of the OG- well blended and soft. It's becoming my go-to work perfume as a barista because the scent blends nicely with the smell of freshly brewed coffee at work while not overpowering it. Very glad to have taken the plunge on a discounted full bottle of this.

Creamy, delicious, sweet... yum!!! this is such an original fragrance. The top citrus notes with the creamy sugary base notes. OMG what a combination! I am so in love with this scent. This scent is incomparable to the other good girls. This scent makes me feel HOT. I wear this at the office and every time I smell it I am rejuvenated. 24 - female.

This is my absolute favorite perfume, it could be for personal reasons, but this is also my most complimented perfume. This smells divine on my skin for some reason, and I’m so upset they discontinued it! This is the best GG in my humble opinion. It smells so delicious and sexy yet elegant and girly

Wow, I am kind of surprised I really like this perfume. It’s tremendous fun and reminds me of big hair, spike heels smoky dance clubs. Good Girl holds up in these venues. It’s also a lot different than most perfumes I have in that it is unapologetic and just screams let’s go out and party.

This is sooo yummy . I never cared for the original . With this one I that laconic creamy vibe that I completely ADORE. I can't stop smelling my wrist. Im not too familiar with the original , but this one is a bit warm and I definitely get the florals , almond & Tonka. Love love love!!!

Love this! If you’re looking for a nice spring fragrance, this is definitely it (although it is perfect to wear year round). It contains the OG Good Girl DNA with some freshness and citrus notes. If you like Good Girl (or any of the GG flankers) but find them a bit too sweet, try this.

Everything about this scent is perfection, the complex notes, the longevity, the mature to sweetness ratio. Even the gorgeous bottle is perfect as a decoration. It really is an amazing perfume, the only thing is, it can be really strong so I only spray half a spritz.

I own quite a few Carolina herrera’s and this one is by far the best I have. She will always be in my collection Everything is blended so perfectly. The citrus floral And Tonka beans are amazing and that hint of cashmir woods just tops it off. So perfectly made

To me this smells like a spicy lemon cookie, or a lemon poppyseed muffin right out of the oven. Heavenly. Compliment getter, lasts and projects. But I don't even really care about that to be honest, as long as I can smell it all day (which I can), I'm happy.

You know how the original leans more on the floral side? Well, this one feels completely different, it’s richer, warmer, and has this sweet creamy vibe to it. Honestly, it’s much stronger too, so it really makes an impression when you wear it.

Whyyy oh whyy is this discontinued??? This is the best Good Girl flanker imo and the only flanker of the line I can stand in warm weather. The dulce de leche and praline are sweet without being overly cloying. Ugh this is so devastating.

Well I always thought Im not the biggest fan of the good girl collection.. but maybe I actually am. I love this smell so much. I will definitely buy it in the future. Playful and sexy.. but in a mature and JUST DARK FEMININE WAY

its like the daytime version of good girl since its much lighter and lacks the heaviness that makes good girl come off as so mature. its also really really light so i would probably have to overspray to make it detectable.
