Good Girl Velvet Fatale

I have the original scent and like it so I blind bought this flanker. Love the citrus and almond opening! It quickly dries down on my skin briefly to white florals then settles into a pleasant almond fruity chocolate scent with hint of woods. No coffee, musk, or other notes show up on me. This projects well the first hour then fades to a skin scent for about 5-6 hours. I love the bottle!

My favorite bottle out of all the Good Girl range! I think it smells the same as the original but somehow the lasting power is not as good as the original bottle. If you don't really mind of the bottle's appearance or the 'limited edition' title, just buy the original bottle.

I haven't tried the original yet, so don't know how this compares, but they're supposed to be the same. The sweetest and sexiest perfume in my collection, hands down. My go-to date night perfume, love it.

I weared the original in Vietnam during summer, this is similar to it..wearing it in Spring time and love it..its beautiful

I've wanted to buy the original Good Girls for a long time, but decided to go for the Velvet Fatale. As others have said, this pretty much smells like the original, but less heavy on the white florals. It's warm and sweet with the base notes being more prominent on the dry-down. I don't get too many florals, personally. I used this today and will definitely not be reaching for it again in hot weather. This will be a winter/cold weather perfume. It can become cloying especially if you use a heavy hand. I love the bottle and like the fragrance but I don't think I'll repurchase it since it smells like a few other perfumes I own.

I wanted this perfume bottle since day one when I saw it for the first time on Fragrantica.com! Thanks to a co-worker returning from his European honeymoon I can now add Carolina Herrera's Good Girl Velvet Fatale to my collection. Fair warning this limited edition is only available through United Arab Emirates airlines, not sold in Duty Free! Co-worker literally purchased from stewardess ON the airplane!! Same scent as original Good Girl, only the bottle is different.

A citrusy floral with a warm, nutty dry down. Pretty, quite boring, a bit too sweet for me, also the citrus with almond and praline combination is headache inducing. It's nice, definitely not something I would chose for myself though, but maybe it will grow on me. I do think it's a nice alternative for people who like gourmand fragrances but they are often too heavy or nauseating for them, this is a fresher and lighter version.

A cute red shoe. This smells like dark chocolate, tonka bean, almond and vanilla to me. No coffee, not so floral or fresh either. A sweet, spicy scent, suitable for autumn or night-time. It's nice, but I'm not too crazy about it.

This perfume reminds me of chocolate coated plums. I don't know why. It's nice, warm, sweet and comfortabele! If you like Dior's Hypnotic Poison, this could be something for you too. It does smell luxurious.

This is the og just in different packaging. The opening smells like white flowers to me, then it transitions into a really sweet vanilla scent. I absolutely love the dry down to this fragrance!

I like the scent, it's sweet without being gourmand. I do not wear it because it lasted 30 minutes on me the day I tested it at Macys. it's a shame because I enjoyed the opening.

i don't see it similar to the original one one at all i have both they are totally different for me this is more sexy, warm,elegant and very sensual it is a master piece.

The original good girl is better but this one is very good also

With all of the all the sweet notes listed a expected something gourmand sweet but was disappointed i prefer the original one more doesnt last that long on skin or clothes the original one is more soapy floral

I dont know why but the smell is terrible :(, probably just wasn't for my taste, but guys it lasts for a long time I could barely get it off of me

Velvet Fatale is the same Original Good Girl fragrance in a collector's bottle. Regrettably Carolina Herrara does that a lot, they release a whole range of collector bottles and don't make it very obvious in their ads that it's in fact the same fragrance. The notes are identical. Here an excerpt of the promotional release article for Velvet Fatale from fragrantica: "The new limited and exclusive perfume (available at world airports) contains the original Good Girl fragrance composition, presented in a "more sensual and provocative manner." Whatever difference people may think to be perceiving is most likely due to psychology of the different look of the bottle (that actually can make a huge difference) or of difference between batches. If you were to buy a Velvet Fatale bottle and a Good Girl Bottle filled at the same time batch you'd have the exact same fragrance. There's no use hunting it down unless you REALLY want the velvet bottle.

For me, men 45, this flanker and the original smell much better than those "Manly" and bubblegummy scents for kids, the fact the bottle is very feminine doesnt make the smell femine, for me its a unisex gourmand, anyone with niche unisex sweet fragrances might know that this one is quite neutral. My review for Good G and GGVF, i love the scent on a woman, altough on my skin it grows a lot in a non feminine way, perfect scent for intimate moments and both can wear this. love the gourmandish side of this scent, coffee, cardamom combo, just a tad flowery and a lot of sweet chocolate, tonka and woods on the base make this a perfec unisex fragrance. I have to wonder if Nishane had made this with better quality ingredientes would be something close to a masterpiece crowd pleaser, and surely unisex 9/10 great sillage, projection and long lasting on any skin i have smelled this, great buy ( Review for both GG and GGVF)

I know original GG since 2017 so I can compare this flanker to it. There is no difference at all. The fragrance is pretty but it's not *girls night out* vibe to it (in my opinion, of course). If it was only for the bottle design, I'd avoid it like the plague - but fragrances are for the nose, not for the eyes, right? It's very cosy, comforting scent for winter, not for special occasions but for normal cold days when you crave dopamine. It's not heavy on gourmand notes - 100% loud, floral quality almost like LVEB. Where is the praline, where is coffee? But I like it in the winter, I spray it into my coat (inside, into the faux fur) so I'm covered with a cosy cloud. I just thought Velvet Fatale would be ... different than GG... but I should have checked the notes first:)
