Platinum Leather

This fragrance is outstanding, I love the aroma it creates very sweet and seductive. We have all seasons in Pakistan and I have worn this fragrance in summer, spring, autumn (fall), winter and got to know, this is not a summer or spring scent. I only wear this in fall and winter when there is no sunshine because these are the times when it performs and projects. In summer and spring, it stays for 3 to 4 hours but in fall and winter, it is always there and I can smell it on my clothes 2 to 3 days after applying. It is advised to wore this fragrance on cloudy days in fall and winter if you want to get compliments.

Another walloping scent! A gorgeous creamy leather. Missing the petrol, suede feel. Rather like plush leather in a Rolls Royce (yes it is a bit like Regent Leather from Thameen) or rather the leather after someone has rubbed leather cream protector from Autoglym. A salty vibe makes a statement early which fades and blends giving that treated painted car interior. Very nice - I think more a personal scent, different to CH Prive which I still prefer. If you like leather give this ago - I can’t think of anything exactly the same...

Mmmmmmmm.... milky, musky and dirty leather with some dried fruits and soft spices. For me it really smells sexy and a bit animalic: the first association I’ve got is something like a traditional barefoot wine stomping and this smell of old wine barrels, slightly fermented grapes and hot skin.

It is outstanding! If you are a woman, this is a fragrance for a boss woman. At first smells unisex, thanks to jasmin, but after 1 hour a more masculine character appears. Strong scent lasts about 7 - 8 h. Love it!

I love this fragrance on my skin, I get more compliments, and it last longer on me.

Airy, Floral, Bright, Unique. Leather - masculine, animalic, bold, dense are some terms that immediately come to my mind however, Platinum leather is unique as it embodies none of these characteristics that I associate with a leathery fragrance. This was one of the last bottles from the Confidential line that I bought, after much hesitation and deliberation, fully expecting to dislike it. I was curious about jasmine and leather combination but to be completely transparent, I got it because I wanted to complete my collection and the bottle really appealed to me. The opening of this fragrance almost reinforced the negative connotations I had associated with this fragrance as it opens with a very strong of note of cypriol and leather, that, after my experience with Bronze Tonka, I knew was not my favorite combination. That along with the peppery spice and zero jasmine almost put me off this scent and I had every intention of washing it off after I sprayed it on myself but I got distracted and forgot to. After about 15 minutes, I started to get wafts of an airy bright playful jasmine accompanied by a pleasant, smooth, soft leather. Honestly, that jasmine is what turned this whole experience around for me. Intrigued, I put my nose to spot I had sprayed and I was very taken with the sweet, musky jasmine and clean patchouli notes I detected, the cypriol having almost completely faded and the leather having mellowed to a soft suede. I also got hints of vanilla which I suspect helped sweeten the jasmine and was content to take a on more supportive role. Unlike others from this line, this sits closer to my skin however, the lasting power is very good and I smells wafts of it 7 - 8 hrs after I sprayed it. I'd say the opening was definitely more masculine with a strong leather and more in your face however, the dry down is feminine, more floral than leathery and softer Every once in a while in this hobby I come across something unique and special. While leather is still not my favorite note, this is a leather based fragrance I can get on board with and I really appreciate the artistry behind this fragrance. PS. Bronze Tonka is slightly animalic in nature especially compared to Platinum Leather where I don't get that at all.

The opening simply smells like a burst of classic Old Spice aftershave. Very generic and mildly annoying. The dry down is more smokey, woody, and musky. The aftershave element completely vanishes. It also has a little kick to it from the pink pepper. As far as leather goes, that's hidden way down beneath those other notes. There's also a whisper of jasmine, but the fragrance is definitely not floral overall. At the same time, there is a fresh, autumnal, outdoorsy quality to it. I really like that. While it's not what I'd consider a leather fragrance, it is a very good fragrance. It comes across as complex, interesting, slightly exotic, and unique (at least for a leather scent). It's a pleasant fragrance that you can sit and ponder.

Have a 3 * official mini collection presentation box with platinum leather, bronze tonka and gold incense... Getting hard to find some unique leathers now but this one has a bit of a unique feel to it. It's a great blend of an earthy high quality chocolatey patchouli, just a touch of creamy jasmine along with the leather (which has a touch of a musky animalic about it). Feels high quality. This out of the minis I have is the one I would consider upgrading to a full bottle, definately the most niche out of the 3.

This is actually a slightly better blended version of Tom Ford Ombre Leather, with a more prominent jasmine note. Its nice, My other half stole my decant of this as she liked it so much. I'd say this is ever so slightly feminine side of unisex. Its a good fragrance though not worthy of the current 4.8 rating.

Starts out almost oud-y. That strong, slightly animalic and rubbery facet soon fades to a surprisingly airy (musk) and lightly floral composition; it’s reading a bit femme.

It was prayer time (mid-day/dhuhr) and i was in the mosque when I noticed my bestfriend infront of me. I joined his line, he hadn't seen me yet as there was one person between us. Prayers begun and this amazing musky fragrance started getting blown my way by the wind (he was standing right by the door). It was love at first sniff. I couldn't stop sniffing and taking it in the whole time. The scent was everything you'd want in a perfume. Knowing my friend and his choice of fragrance, I immediately knew that was coming from him. After the prayers he tapped my shoulder and we left the mosque for lunch. Before that we exchanged greetings and hugged and this is when I told him I knew the perfume was coming from him. The day I got introduced to the amazing CH- Platinum Leather. My bottle arrived yesterday and I'm still smelling the first spray on both my wrists. My best buy by far. Would 100% recommend.

I got this as a birthday gift from a male friend. I once asked him about the fragrance he wore and he said he'd rather show me and not tell me. Fast forward some months and he presents this majestic bottle of a fragrance to me and i knew at once this was the fragrance he wore. Very rich smelling scent and i wear it only on important occasions like when i'm heading into a board room meeting and everybody has to notice my presence.

What i'm getting most here - regardless of notes - is moss, a mossy, seaweedy smell, earthy, a little secretions magnifiue esque, but mostly earthy and wet. Not getting the leather but I can see how this is interpreted as musky. Also patchy. Quite sweet, not overbearingly. Unless my sample is fake, I smell no leather here. All I really get is musk and patchouli. It's dusty, unpleasant and mature. Love this line but this is a flop.
