Stallion Leather Sirocco

Once again, Carolina Herrera continues to demonstrate that their Confidential Line is right at the vanguard of high end niche style designer fragrances, even if a lot of the wider fragrance community continues to somehow avoid giving it the credit it deserves. Stallion Leather Sirocco is the second flanker of their iconic Stallion Leather fragrance by Jordi Fernandez. Sirocco is a lighter, fruiter and more mass-appealing beast that reminds me very strongly of OmanLuxury's outstanding Caden. Whereas Stallion Leather and Stallion Leather Suede take a few minutes to warm up and dry down, Sirocco is an instant pulse-racing, eyes-wide, lip-biting love. The dates and saffron running free through the middle of this like wild horses out west are just so good. There are some sweet spices here too; nutmeg, some cinnamon and a hint of smoky bourbon whiskey. The rich dates are very much of the style of Abu Dhabi by MEMO but the overall feel is dominated by that toecurlingly incredible suede leather. I'd go as far as to say Sirocco is my favourite new fragrance I've gotten my nose on in 2026 and I do actually prefer it to Caden. I absolutely adore this one. This is an important fragrance. If fragrance is the great leveller then this is one of the best examples of it. Peerlessly blended, addictive, stunningly beautiful and impossibly sexy, it is an olfactory self assured smile to yourself. So you've had (another) awful week at work, money is (still) an insurmountable problem, you are (still) too much. You look in the mirror in the morning and see the familiar hollow, pale shell staring back at you with barely concealed contempt and loathing from behind nut-like eyes clouded with pain and tiredness. You've given all of yourself this week and somehow made things worse. Tiredness is a fashion choice. Nobody is coming to help you. Nobody cares. And that is fine. But you go to your fragrance collection and you spray some of this on and it makes everything just that little bit less shit. That olfactory self assured smile in the mirror is worth a million dollars. You're doing this. You got this. And you smell f**king magnificent. We all deserve to have a few fragrances like this in our lives. Layering suggestion - I wouldn't recommend layering this as it is very complex, but if you did, I'd suggest something like Patchouli Absolu by Tom Ford would be a decent base layer to push this in the same direction as the original Stallion Leather. Very sexy sweet leather fragrance with a smooth and balanced character. It’s not overly aggressive or loud, which makes it easy to wear while still feeling luxurious and attractive. The quality is impressive for a designer luxury release, with a refined blend that feels polished and sophisticated. It is a little expensive, but the scent profile and overall presentation make it worth it. Maybe not as monstrous as some ultra niche leather fragrances, but much more versatile and elegant.

Had a chance to smell this a few days ago, it’s absolutely stunning, you get the sweetness of the dates in the opening, it dries down as a warm leather scent, but what a stunner. I find it unisex however the leather was prominent on my skin still I absolutely love it. ❤️

The great leather fragrance u will ever smell it’s so amazing still the sude DNA in it but this one is so amazing it’s so perfect

I should start first by saying I ordered this directly from Carolina Herrera online. My others were from Grey market. I was surprised when the packing slip said limited edition, because I did not notice that on the website. It is Limited Edition. This starts off with a strong blast of sugary sweetness but it dies down almost instantly. It continues on Leather heavy, but transitions quickly to sweet leather. It goes back and forth leather then sweetness. It's really interesting. I do like it and I'm glad I have a full bottle. The cap was designed by some artist. This is really nice, I can see myself wearing this a lot. It's reminiscent of a middle eastern perfume from spirit of dubai.

The OG stallion leather is one of my most complimented perfumes so i had to compare this side by side , same core but with a noticable presence of fruitiness , that piece of leather is all sweetened up by dates and it stays sweet throughout the drydown , the components are somewhat "floaty" in comparison to OG which are deeper and more complex which i personally prefer for this DNA

the worst stallion leather edition. absolutely foul & i’ve never ever felt this way about a fragrance before. smells like cooking and boiling chicken in a hot pot with only salt, water, mild spices and bay leaves. absolute monstrosity. stallion leather suede is phenomenal tho

Stallion Leather with added dates !? I need this ASAP ! Leathers have been one of the challenging notes for me so I was pleased when Stallion Leather turned out to be an easy leather like Ombre Leather and now with added dates - this HAS to be a gem !!!

Straightforward a dupe of Crivelli’s Oud Cadenza. Maybe softer around the edges, but that’s it.

So wait.. why does CH need to dupe Oud Cadenza?? Is this how we are doing things in 2026?

Leather is not my favorite note but THIS! Stole my heart!❤️
