Mary J. Blige My Life Blossom

I think this is a warm weather fragrance. It’s currently 60 degrees just coming out of a freezing snow storm and this smells very green and unripened. The flowers are not in bloom. I’ll have to wait for the ground to unfreeze to enjoy this one. A review a few below is right on with that grassy note, which smells to me like thick stems. It’s not very sweet and is very green- so far anyways. I’ll have to try the original. It’s funny cuz others say it’s sweet and not green and then others including myself smell it as green and not sweet. I think it just needs to “ blossom” 🌼 like I said earlier.

I ordered it. I like it. I don't think I love it at all. It's very floral and green to me. It isn't bad at all but I think Juicy Couture, Kim Kardashian, and Mariah's Forever are more to my taste than Blossom is. I'm going to test all 4 of them together to make my decision. I wish I had tried her 1st one! From what I've heard, it sounds sweeter than Blossom and much more up my alley. I don't get the sweetness of the praline and vanilla that I was hoping for. I'll test it a bit more. : )

omg nice 1oz $3.99 deal at TJMaxx on this. i definitely like blossom better than her signature, easy on pocketbook and smells like a MKors dupe - which is too expensive of option for me. im determining how long sprays last before the scent fades requiring reapplication. anyway i would recommend it as a splurge - it can also be applied along with some other scent - the deal for me is not a piggy bank breaker for me and that is so cool!

Smells much better after summers hot days and into a cool down. It took me over a year to find this one’s sweet spot. It wasn’t balanced very well imo until after hot summers cooldown. Now it has a sweetness to it instead of just a sharp greenness it’s had in every temperature and season. I like it now and I’m glad I have it. I love white florals and floral sweetness so it’s very pleasing now.

The opening smells EXACTLY like the first one but it's a little lighter and it dries down sooo much better than the first. It starts off kinda tuberoseyish but it dries down to a nice, incense, kinda sweet smell to it with just a hint of Vanilla. I really like this one a lot better but I wouldn't mind getting a bottle of the first or getting a rollerball.

They have a ton of bottles of Blossom at TJMaxx for 14.99! Awesome price right?! Happy hunting everyone. : )

Sometimes you have to leave well enough alone! The first MJB My Life was absolutely my favorite...this one smells exactly like My Life; however, when it dries down it loses the praline sweetness and turns to a bitter grassy smell almost too much gardenia for my tastes. I was so disappointed and wanted to return it back to HSN; however, my mother loved it and so I gifted the fragrance to her.

I owned the first one and while I think its a nice scent, I wasn't totally wowed by it. I just blind bought a small bottle of My Life Blossom. My impression is that its fresher, creamier and sweeter scent that original. Although notes are very simular in both, Blossom is definately a good flanker because they are some simularities yet these are clearly two different scents. I agree with below reviewer who called it"creamy sweet white floral"-its an apt description. I like it better than the original, to be honest. For some reason it smells more tropical to my nose(probably because of tuberose and vanilla together) which is all to the good. The most distinctive notes to my nose are orange flower, tuberose and vanilla/sandalwood that blend quite beautifully together. If you want green gardenia scent, this is NOT it. I think that lot of people think its simular to MK but I don't find it to be the case as Blossom is much sweeter and cremier scent

It is one of my favorite perfumes. I got one in Wallmart for 25 dollars, and couple days ago I saw it in TJMAXX for 3.99. I will probably stock up. I don't go to Wallmart at all, so buying perfume at Wallmart was kind of a joke in my family. But it was the only place I was able to find who sell it. This perfume evoke deep emotional connection for me. I love marigold, and gardenia, white freesia and orange in it. I can smell it all day long. I would agree it has a creamy texture. It is somewhat oily on the skin. And this perfume does leave traces on the clothes. I can detect it on me for hours, and i enjoy it tremendously. The silage is good.

Im wearing this today I purchased a nice gift set of this last Christmas season a 1.7 oz spray and a jar of body cream 5.2 oz it is a little more flowery than the original but similar the body cream is nice very velvety and fragrant almost dont even need the perfume with it but carols daughter has a secret on long lasting fragrances that I wish she would share with other perfume companies because the lasting power of this and the original is phenomenal
