I've tried couple of samples of Caron discovery sets and I this one is a transport to the old times. It's quite old fashioned, giving the 80s vibe, mainly because of indolic jasmine that is hidden in middle notes. Nothing I would want to wear myself, but I guess it would be a safe gift for 60+ ladies for a summer, as it is quite light and fresh for a day.

This is pathetic and weak. Again, what the hell happened to Caron?! This is not a larger-than-life floral fragrance like they used to produce. This is weak, the florals smell like they have been drowned in water. No projection, no life! So sad right now, I loved Caron back in the day. This smells like so many other dull and lifeless fragrances on the market now, fragrances we just don't need in our lives. Edit: 12/21/21 This perfume smells like hairspray. The 1st test was super weak. I shook the sample and tested it again and now it smells like hairspray. I think it settled in shipping because it was super weak yesterday but after I shook it and tested again it smells like a bad old-fashioned hairspray. I preferred the watered-down smell of yesterday.

Floral bomb, soapy and uber feminine. Vintage smelling like Anais Anais. Pretty but old fashioned. I like it.
