oh so lovely .. perfumey.. french.. takes you back to the golden era of fine french perfumery.. so fine.. like madam Rochas.. or some of the finer nicer gurlines.. or the 70 ies lady perfumes .. old school..yes.. in a great way.. smells like caron..the heart of caron.. its a characteristic.. french medley.. .perfect ..you know what i mean by it smells perfumy french perfumy.?.like the smell of how perfume should really smell like.. nothing from that new nonsense of gourmands and sweets and god knows what?! one spray and you are on your way to french royal courts.. castles.. french riviera.. Grass.. Kans..A royal french journey so romantic and memorable..so full of dreams and hopes...so pure and true.. the tuberose is the only problem i face in its dry down maybe some other white floral to they tend to become too intense for me ..but i still love it..despite its white florals because its all done in perfection ..all notes compliment each other and enhance one another as in an orchestra.. its a full bodied perfumers perfume.. a perfume that smells like perfume.. which is so hard to find those days.. with all the food and other weird scents we are destroying our sense palates with..i wish we can revive the golden famine era of true french fine perfumery.. when perfumes actually smelled like perfumes ..full of flowers.. dreams and love ..the era of romanticism.. lady caron has an engraved statute of liberty on its bottle.. symbolizing freedom of women all over the world...the perfume symbolizes freedom of speech.. for its so free.. robust.. outgoing.. and extremely feminine ..in a liberated way.. its full of confidence.. ability to express ones self.. and free.. free from all prejudice.. and pretense.. lady caron in my opinion is a timeless classic ..that should have had more opportunity and fame in the world of timeless fragrances.. but unfortunately many of the true gems are always hidden or forgotten or simply not as recognized as they should have been.. edp 100 ml pefume ratting 4.8 out of 5 bottle ratting 4 out 5 bottle cap not as nice bought from caron boutique about 120 us $ my personal liking rating 4.8 out 5

LADY CARON This is an absolutely gorgeous floral chypre. Tremendously elegant. Silky smooth and of low sweetness. Tuberose predominates on my skin without indoles, while deep red rose is richly woven through with stunning grace and richness. Lavish embroideries of non-indolic jasmine lend just a touch of subdued floral sweetness and richness. Just a hint of peachy raspberries add a trace of fresh-fruity succulence. Magnolia and neroli keep twirling throughout like a corps of ballerinas doing pirouettes, maintaining a pristine floral refinement. A very finely blended and subdued sandalwood/oakmoss base grounds everything perfectly in the most quietly earthy and dignified way. Regal and profoundly feminine, one of the most graceful scents I have ever encountered. This scent is all about lavish silken haute couture ballgowns with long trains, magnificent diamond parures, perfectly coiffed upswept hair clasped in sparkling tiaras, posh little minaudieres grasped firmly in tiny hands covered by dramatic full length opera gloves, all floating on a pair of delicate satin pump heels. A feeling of refined opulence permeates the essence of this composition from opening through full drydown. Delightfully brilliant on every level. Bravo to the House of Caron.

Lady Caron. Sigh! This one is just so pretty and so well-crafted. Chypre floral? Or how about Chypre fruity floral? I get a lot more of the fruity notes in the initial blast than the florals, except for the magnolia. The first spritz is a kind of sour/sweet fruit, with an aroma reminiscent of children's chewable vitamins or baby aspirin. From there, it settles into a delicious floral that is both feminine and sophisticated, and gradually (very gradually! the heart notes last for hours!) dries down to an oriental moss. I wore this to the office the other day and it seemed perfectly suitable. I can also see how it would work well for a romantic evening. If you're a fan of fruity florals that is ready to try a more mature, sophisticated scent, Lady Caron strikes me as a good first step. If you're a fan of classic scents, but you're looking to add some newer fragrances to your collection, you can't really go wrong with this one.

Vintage EDP. Lady Caron opens with a strong magnolia note, peach and berry, trailed by jasmine and tuberose. Its rare to find a magnolia presence. I think the magnolia takes it out of white floral bore, and adds interest. The fruit and rose give LC some substantial body and thickness to a white floral perfume. Its quality, its French, feminine and well blended like most Caron's This is definitely a past 25yrs scent, but its rich and beautiful. Its done in a way I haven't quite smelled before.I appreciate that. I can't wait to try it in all weathers to see what she reveals, but it is definitely a great perfume. Get it while its affordable. Edit: If you happen to buy a first formula its a powerhouse. I sprayed it on and after 24 hrs, it literally still hung in the air perfuming my bedroom. Thats quality.

I was extremely fortunate to snatch a large EDP bottle of this wonderful perfume for only $ 37, including shipping! Another beautiful and timeless classic in my collection. It's hard to compare it to anything else, as it is quite unique, but is very along the lines of Patou Sublime. So if you like the complexity of Patou fragrances or Very Pretty by Cartier, you absolutely have to try this one! I was wearing it today during the day, and I must admit this fragrance is way too sophisticated for casual wear, by which i mean if you decide to wear it to work, you'd better be dressed up. The sillage and lasting power are wonderful, strong enough to make a statement, but in a subtle, unobtrusive way.

I have tested both edp and pure perfume. I LOVE the perfume, but not the edp, because I can smell the alcohol, and I do not like to smell that in my fragrances. So, I don't get the fruits in this one, just the flowers, and that's great! When I wear this I feel like a rich young beautiful lady. The only thing i would like it's a better sillage.

Not bad at all, probably the only scent I own where I can sense the emergence of the magnolia note.

I have to admit I am a sucker for anything that comes inside the shagreen flacons by Caron. Let me say- although these bottlings are marked edp, or occasionally edt, I am certain they are of parfum concentration and were created with the highest quality of ingredients. While I am generally not a fan of the Fruity Floral genre, this perfume- along with a scant few Patous from the 90s- has my attention. In "Lady Caron", the (of recent) ubiquitously popular Tuberose is corralled within a composition of polite fruits and other white flowers. Despite the categorization of "Chypre", I detect little outright oakmoss, but am certain of its presence by the dampening effect it has on the other potentially obnoxious notes of tuberose, raspberry, and peach. The sandal also plays second chair to the white flowers and fruits, but, honestly, with the volume turned up this loud, there was no room for it anyway. For certain, "Lady Caron" is a classically composed perfume that epitomizes pyramidal structure. The top is a piercing aldehydic magnolia, with jasmine fast on its heels. Neroli places third, and arrives wearing a tiara. Then, straggling in, come the fruits and tuberose, not to be outdone. They, too, cheer their own arrival and unabashedly announce their presence. Amidst this fracas, however, there is tranquility on the horizon...about 20 minutes later arrives perfection. The tart of fruit, the faint lingering of indoles, the earthiness of oakmoss, and- best of all, a splash of ocean! That's right, if you wait out all the fireworks, you will arrive at a soft ocean breeze of indoles and spice. I daresay there might be some synthetic ambergris in there. While I love many things about "Lady Caron", I won't reach for it that often- likely only early to mid-summer. Nonetheless, it has a permanent seat on my vanity. Sometimes a work of art, irrespective of our personal taste, deserves a space on the wall.

It is a great perfume that I miss so much. I bought it last year, but I sold it for personal reasons, but this year I bought it once again. It is a great perfume based on tuberose, jasmine, magnolia and peach. I couldn't detect any rose. All I can smell is the combination of the notes I mentioned (jasmine + tuberose + magnolia + peach). It is moderate in case of longevity and sillage. Fortunately there is no musk here, as I am sensitive to musk (especially animalic musk). This perfume is a kind of borderline between vintage and modernity. I like it so much. این عطر بسیار خوشبو هست و حالتی مابین سنت و مدرنیته رو میشه در اون حس کرد. رایحه جذابی از گلهای خوشبو در ترکیب با هلو رو شاهد هستیم. پخش و ماندگاریش خوبه و شیشه بسیار زیبایی هم داره که مجسمه آزادی روی اون حکاکی شده. این عطر اصلاً باعث سردرد و واکنش‌های آلرژیک در من که حساس هستم، نشد و کاملاً حس آرامش ازش میگیرم و یاد دوران زیبای گذشته و کودکی‌هام می‌افتم. از اینکه چنین عطر کمیابی رو در کالکشن خودم دارم، خوشحالم. یک خرید عالی و رضایت‌‌بخش 💛🧡

Lady Caron is a smooth, creamy, warm fruity floral. Reminds me of warm sunlight glittering on a golden ocean. What a nice golden blast on a cold dreary New Year's day. Unlike other Caron's I've tried that have an odd discordant note (Parfum Sacre with cardamom and Aimez-Moi with mint), LC is blended to smooth perfection. The fruity notes are perfectly in tune with the creamy florals. Tuberose is not overwhelming and plays nicely with the rose and magnolia. This is a great pick-me-up for the dead of winter, when you need to be reminded that the sun will eventually shine again and actually be WARM. Has well-behaved sillage and the longevity sticks with me for about 4-5 hours, which I find acceptable. I so wanted to love Parfum Sacre and Aimez-Moi and I couldn't. I came across this one completely by accident when I received a sample along with a gift certificate. I'm so glad I did.

A bouquet of jasmine, magnolia, and tuberose. The tuberose here isn’t creamy or milky; it gives the perfume a slightly vintage vibe — the same goes for the peach and rose. Some people say it’s an old-school, almost resemble of religious places. In my opinion, it’s true that it’s floral and strong, but it’s not outdated or old-fashioned at all. You really need to love white flowers to enjoy it. This was a blind buy at an estate sale for me, but I'm so glad I got it. It's a white floral scent with bunches of tuberose and magnolia that have been enhanced with rose, sandalwood, peach and oakmoss. Luca Turin calls this boring. Sure, the notes come out all at once and it doesn't develop much further than that, but is that boring? Not necessarily. There are plenty of simple, linear perfumes out there that don't take you far away from their beginnings, but they smell good and that's Lady Caron. She is a well composed, beautifully balanced, feminine perfume that makes you smile.

WOOOWW. I just received my Lady Caron and this is a jewell. True Treasude. I do not find words enough to discribe this beautifull floral scent. This is something everyone need to Experience ;D One of my fawourites for sure !

Lady Caron edp was offered as a swap option to me.I accepted it hesitantly as I'm not a chypre girl and I didn't have any idea about it's scent.I asked a friend who had it years ago and she described it as a classic floral.I received it today and eventhough it's our first night together,I can clearly see that accepting it was a great decision Can we first take a minute to talk about it's packaging.what an awesome bottle.fragrantica picture doesn't do any justice to this gorgeous bottle.If I had to display only ten perfumes on my vanity this would definitely be among them.and now about the scent NabraskaLovesS is spot on.on me Lady Caron opens with a weird,tart and sweet fruity medicinal scent very much like the multivitamin syrup I had to drink as a kid.it was almost scared but fortunately in less than two minutes it settles down to something heavenly.it's so well blended still I can detect traces of all the mentioned notes.I can pickup delightfully sweet fruits,peach and raspberry which blend so well with creamy,gorgeous florals.tuberose which is more like gardenia to me,magnolia and rose standout to me.I lOVE magnolia (and gardenia)so I'm pleasantly surprised to see how beautifully it shines here.I was worried about it's woody base but there was no need for it.there's just a subtle hint of sandalwood and oakmoss to make it even more sophisticated.I love everything here Lady Caron is truely feminine,also very elegant.it smells classy and rich but not dated or old even a bit,actually on the contrary I can see a sweet,girly naughtyness hidden beneath it's refined luxury.if I was going to marry now it would be among my options as a bride perfume.I have to wear it for a while and then edit my review to add some missed points but for now I can say that I'm in heaven.I had sprayed it eight hours ago and even now I can't stop sniffing my hand.I love how moss mingles with opulent flowers sweetened by a touch of fruity honeyed syrup.by the way,are they sure there's no amber in it?I can smell an ambery sort of warm and deep and adult sweetness

Lovely, vintage white floral magnolia chypre scent. Not a huge fan of the plastic cap as it is very squeaky when removing. The Statue of Liberty motif is very unique. My bottle is marked "made in France." Fragrance is very peachy and sunny, and the magnolia note is lovely. While magnolia is one of my favorite notes, this is not a fragrance I reach for all the time. Scent is now discontinued and quite difficult to find anywhere.

This is a very classy perfume. LeoLady910 said it all. On me, however, I smelled the basenotes FIRST--tempered by a little bit of rose. Then the tuberose arrives, but I can't smell the fruits in this one. When the top notes open up to me, I can still smell the basenotes really well. How odd that the notes arrive backwards on me... It's a lovely perfume. Probably not my current preference, but classy and beautiful nontheless. This is going to sound bad, (I assure you it's not!)but it's something that makes me think of my Grandma--but in her late twenties and thirties. She is a simple woman now, but she has always had exquisite taste. When she lived in London, she got a taste of the finer things in life--which included perfumes. I can imagine her dressed in a swanky outfit and heels and smelling divine. If she had known about Lady Caron, she probably would have worn it.

Horrible stinky. I scrubbed it after 10 minutes off, before the migraine comes on. Something for very old girls with 50 million dollar account.
