L'Eau Pure (2014)

It is radiant bright, almost glowing, and clean. This is a very light and airy concoction similar to many Guerlain colognes or 4711. This does have better longevity though, those others last maybe an hour while the Caron lasts much longer. This isn’t intended to be an all day “beast mode”, this is for times when going out in midday sun and wearing just a light white t-shirt. This is something I like to soak myself in on blazing hot summer days or when going to the beach.

Whilst I was wildly underwhelmed when I first got this (I love Caron passionately) I've finally changed my tune. Its been 30 degrees in the UK today in sweaty horrific tree surgery PPE and I'm talking extra padded nylon and sweat running down your face (we brits are not made for this). I'm now clean and half human but this fragrance is about the only thing I can stand now as I attempt to wind down and sleep. It smells of fresh breezy laundry thats maybe title 'Ocean Breeze or such. Whilst I initially hated the oceanic notes and felt it smelt like a cleaning spray its now melded well with my skin and simply makes me feel clean and calm. Surprisingly strong, it speaks with force but the message is pretty linear, which is fine. The top notes are fleeting but the woody marine notes and faint spice blend well. I think this will be coming with me tomorrow for another roasting day...

this fragrance is very easy to wear and it's not complex but,it's good for morning and afternoon time,very comfortable,clean,it will let live in a good mood. woody,ozonic notes are very clear plus Coriander,very cleaver mixture with cheap price,only USD 95.00. PROJECTION:MEDIUM LAST FOR 4 HOURS WHICH IS GOOD FOR THESE FRAGRANCES WITH THIS PRICE. OVERALL 8/10

I wonder how good this new one is? Eaux de Caron Pure 1996 version is one of my favourite fragrances of all time.
