Narcisse Blanc

Orange blossoms, neroli, lilac and sandalwood. If you paired down narcisse noir to its bare accord, bleached it whiter.. its this. I think they went too minimalistic on it esp regarding the price point.

smells very green to me, very sharp at the opening but dries to something soft and pleasant...and since I love the smell of cut grass and fields of hay, I enjoy this very much.

I'm rather surprised by this. It's not the cheap white floral I assumed I was getting, it's actually kind of horsey... Now bear with me, I do actually like it! Basically it smells almost leathery, barnyard ish and horsey on me but in a great way. I suspect it's got some para-cresyl phenyl acetate, which is used I believe to make the narcissus accord but also is a bit horsey (I have the pure stuff and it's very horsey). It's similar to its darker compatriot but I do feel like they are siblings and it's far more sophisticated than I expected (especially judging by the fact they turned Infini into a fruity floral etc). Longevity and sillage is ok, I'm glad I took a chance on this!

Surprisingly, I like it very much. Was expecting a bit of that “pissy” narcissus from the name, but what I get is a green, “crisp” neroli, backed by - I would say a leather accord - that is a bit barnyard-y but very tolerable. Very well blended too. Will try and get my nose on the original if possible

This is a gorgeous scent. I surprised me how beautiful it is! Sweet narcissus, neroli and some balsamic and leathery notes. Very feminine and elegant. I don't have the original version and now would love to sample it. Need to get full bottle and back ups ASAP.
