Tubereuse

It is what it says it is! A peachy tuberose that reminds me very much of the original eponymous Carolina Herrera. The peach counteracts the soapiness common to white florals, and while it is luxurious and heady, it's not oppressive, as Fracas can be at times. At least not to me. I am sure that this would be pejoratively described as an "old lady" smell, but what's old is bound to be new again, eventually! I love it because I love tuberose - the sweet, chewy kind presented here vs the more camphorous and green effect - and this is definitely made of high quality material. It's not a must have if you have many other tuberoses, but if you want to try the note and prefer it a bit sweet, then you can't go wrong here. I was a little shocked at the projection and longevity - I sprayed some in the crook of my left elbow last night under my pajama top, and was treated to lovely wafts of tuberose for several hours before I drifted off. No surprises, just plain pretty!

Fracas has cast a long shadow for following tuberose players. Some chose to deliberately eschew the path Fracas has take, making it green or camphoraceous; some...probably chose to stay in the shadow, the peachy, sweet, heady white floral shadow. After all, even it's unoriginal, it still takes some effort to copy such opulent scent.

Wonderful perfume. My new crush.

This is a thick, oily perfume and a thick oily tuberose scent. It has the characteristic tuberose scent, pink candy to my nose,; but then rich and slightly indolic, morphing into something almost minty and then the strangest tuberose-saliva note. I also has the tiniest spicy note, almost cinnamon, which reminds me a bit of the original Chloe. I thnk I lack the ability to appreciate tuberose. If you enjoy this note, Caron may work for you. It is rich, and does develop but not too much. Longevity about 4 hours. Projection fairly strong.

Amazing in every way! Too bad they don't make it anymore! It is pne of the most beautiful, dreamy tuberose perfumes I ever wore... it just makes you drunk jn love
