Vétiver Infini (2021)

A different take on vetiver, slightly smokey and powdery!! You can smell also the carrot and generelly, an underated scent. Masculine I would say with quality ingredients!!

I usually like everything immediately and I'm not picky at all whether it's leather, animalics, oud, or extremely sweet fragrances. This fragrance hit me with an opening that was very polarising, the carrot was very vegetal and realistic. The dry down is smoky vetiver with watery iris and subtle carrot in the background. It made Terre D'Hermes seem very sweet when it's not a sweet fragrance to start with. This is some serious masculine classy stuff here, you need age, status, and class to like it and pull it off, the first time I ever felt like a fragrance will wear me instead of me wearing it, I'm 26 with no significant status. The quality is amazing, you can easily feel how the notes are natural and overall it comes across as a very expensive corporate manager scent. I got it from someone who was selling Caron testers, he had a bottle of this, wasn't sold for a year and I got it for around 52 usd, for that price it's amazing but at retail, I can think of so many other vetiver fragrances that are more appealing and cheaper, but none are this special because what other vetiver fragrance combines iris and carrot?

I am not particulary impressed. It comes across quite masculine. Sharp in the opening, then the citrus notes become more prominent accoompanied by a light smokey note. A bit odd....

Opens up spicy woody and fresh, but the dry down is the part I don't like : woody, powdery carrot with a watery/ozonic twist...the powdery carrot is off puttting for me. Sample before buying.

This is a lovely masculine scent, bright and uplifting, like a clear morning. The vetiver here smells fresh and natural, the iris adds a tiny touch of sweetness. The violet leaf is prominent. The drydown is woody and very soft. I would love to smell this scent on a well dressed man. I think it's too masculine to be called unisex!
