This is a Wonderful, Hidden Gem Aromatic Fougere Perfume. Fresh, Clean, Bright, Crisp and Unique. A Modern Soft Spicy Cologne with the shadow of Italian Classic Style and A Lovely Inexpensive Fragrance that has high quality composition. It opens up with fresh spicy, citrusy and green and warm spices notes in the background then dry down is slightly sweet musky woody. The Clove note is dominant in this scent, very soft and smooth. It is perfect for the spring and summer , I really enjoy it and I'm so glad that I have it in my collection. Longevity is good, It costs more than this price, Highly Recommended. Two Thumbs Up. My Husband loves this, I love this! It smells amazing. Clean, fresh, citrus spice. Very sexy on him, to me. He has two 3.4oz bottles, one with green juice that the info is stamped into the glass on the bottom of the bottle is the older one. The newer one he swears doesn't smell as good, and has the info on a sticker at the bottom of the bottle. They both smell excellent to me, and the newer bottle is almost gone so I'll find a replacement so he can save what's left of the old one for special occasion. For both of us its 10/10 and I suppose if Hubby had a signature this would be it.

I had it before. It's smells so fresh but in unique woody spicy way, it's very unique for 80s perfume. The most downgrade is the Sillage and Longevity, it's an average and even below. But it's amazingly all ages and all seasons frag, safe blind buy for all ages,

This is a great fragrance considering how cheap you can pick up a bottle for. Nothing super groundbreaking but what it does it does very well. Definitely worth checking out.

Perfect for a beach outing fits the bill 100%. Has some warmth and spice with a gourmet sunblock type smell with medium touches of green; Very nice and cheap. Made in Italy?

Maybe cus I’ve have this bottle since 2004, but this smells amazing. Smell has definitely changed throughout the years.

This is my first review on fragrantica. And this is my opinion on the Carera pour homme. Looking at the price tag of this fragrance tells you what to expect. It is pleasant, light and not abusive. The longevity is weak, the sillage is barely an arm length. It's something you'd wear at home, after a shower, at gym, short trips, and a bottle you'd keep in your car's glove box for unexpected needs. I'd recommend this if you need a cheap, nice scented edt for on the go or to freshen up. Personally: I loved it, and would buy another bottle.

Carrera reminds me of Realities (by Claiborne), but it's smoother and more laid-back. I like it better. Both of those fragrances are reminscent of black pepper to my nose, even if that’s not listed as a note. Carrera, like most fragrances, works the best on my neck's pulse points. I had some sleep to catch up on, and sprayed this on a few minutes before bed. Nine hours later, it was still detectable.

Aftershower evening wear with floral spicy touch. Nothing groundbreaking. ginger is soo prominent but ill refined. scent quality: average sillage:it surely does leave a scent trial projection: good until it dies longivity: 3 hrs -5 hrs mark casual evening wear with friends. updated: My wife the other day thought its D&G..,surely has some resemblance to D & G 'The One'

i blindbought it online for less than 500 INR. For its price, it's a pretty decent perfume lasting for about 4-5 hours on my skin. It's a good after shower perfume and can also be used for evenings.

The citrus notes in Carrera are upfront in the begining,but the dry down is very spicy anis. What's puzzling is how this manages to stay fresh and musky despite the drydown. You would think the notes would make it a fall/winter frag,but no this is strictly warm weather. Its kinda in the same vein as Moschino Uomo. Its that 1980s Fresh Spicy old school Itallian Beach fragrance. I oversprayed (11 sprays) and got a little over 6 hours. That's decent for a fresh summer,but I can see how on someone else's skin the performance would be weak. I paid about 7 bucks for it just to get free shipping on an order and its a steal. I'll think this will be my travel bottle.

Little bit of barbershop and little bit of shower gel. Projects for 2 hours and then skin scent for an hour or so then gone. That's it. I guess with the price it retails (I got for $7.49) you can't actually complain. Just have to go heavy on the trigger if you want to get something out of it and replenish once every 3-4 hours.

Normally I would understand if a cheap fragrance smells cheap, but this is too much. It’s supposed to aromatic barbershop smell but the opening is straight up chemicals. Even for the 8 bucks it isn’t worth it. Get brut instead of this, it’s for around the same price and much better quality.

Mine came leaked and the scent is not that great. Anise and Cloves dominates in a bad way. Smells like cheap clove cigarettes. Not sure if the issue is my bottle gone bad because of that 3ml leak inside the box or because it just is like this. Probably will never know

it's refreshing but so poor weak longevity the problem with this fragrance is the longevity is so poor maybe with 7 spray will stay for 1 to 2 hours only. Longevity : 9/10 Sillage : 5/10 scent : 7/10 This was a gift to me and I am too allergic on most perfumes that this is included to the list. It is too strong that I am forced to store it in my wardrobe after 3 days of using it. Surprisingly, longevity of it is too short for a strong perfume but found out later that it is not to be spray on your shirt. After a year, I tried it again out of my curiosity and sprayed it on my undershirt just to prevent my nose's over reaction to perfumes. Allthough sillage has lowered it stayed more than 12 hours and it really compliment with my natural scent on a hot day. Seems like it really depends on how you use it. First impression shouldn't last. Though I basically wear it by purely because of its longevity since only few people notice it.

Hawaiian lifestyle in a bottle, so fresh, oceanic, and tropical with a blend of florals, suits well anything related to the beach or casual summer activities.
