Baiser Vole Lys Rose

I love the original Baiser Vole for it's green unadulterated lily. The whole flower, stem and all lily. I bought a full bottle this year as my spring/summer scent. I wear it quite often, though I like to change it up a few days because the pure lily can be quite linear and I get bored of it after a few days in a row. The raspberry addition sounded interesting, so I added it to my monthly scent subscription. I am not always drawn to the raspberry scents. They can be quite cloying to me in the Texas heat and bring unpleasant memories of my MK Very Hollywood asphyxiation experience a few years back. After that, almost everything with raspberry reminds me of MK Very Hollywood. Fortunately, this not the case with BV lys Rose. The raspberry is not overly sweet and somewhat over powered by the original BV lily scent. It just can't compete. While this flanker is a little more sweet, it's still very close to the original release. So close to it, that I can't see the point of owning a full bottle of each at the price. I like it, and would be quite happy with a bottle of either variation, so maybe when I get to the bottom of the original BV, I may replace it with the Lys Rose version. The raspberry addition might be more appealing to the younger women, although my daughter loves the original, like me. The sillage and longevity are similar to the original, though after a while, it was just the original lily that I smelled. I may try wearing both, one on each arm to test for the whole day. Either way, Cartier has a real winner with both iterations of the lily. Love.

Serene, delicate, wonderful , it smells and feels like sugar sprinkled rose petals with a hint of Casablanca lilies added. It is a very simple fragrance, organic and natural, lovely in its simplicity, elegant and calm. The silage is soft , more like a skin scent, lasting power low to average. It makes me think it could have been in the Allegoria line.. I don't know where the concept that it has raspberries came from.... I cannot smell anything fruity here. It is just a delicate floral , powdered with a little sugar but not exactly sweet. It disappears really fast, so be prepared to spray again and again. I totally love it, a perfect spring/summer daytime scent. Edit again: Gorgeous but NOT worth the money. Seriously, zero silage ( skin scent ) and terrible lasting power. It is like fragrant water. You spray it, you smell its beauty, it dries down and it's gone ! Puffff. Clouds of heaven . Spray again. addictive and comforting.

I got extremely excited when i received the sample, fell in love instantly but had to wait 2 weeks before it was available in the stores ! Bought a FB of 100 ml, because i just want to spray and respray without any guilt. This is the most "pleasing" version of the whole family. The rasperry softens the strong green lily opening and provides some vibrancy to this "serious and austere" perfume. Baiser Volé is in contradiction of her name,(stolen kiss) not a flirtratious perfume, it is almost an abstract " intellectual" interpretation of a classic floral. For those who cannot appreciate that austerity and dislike the more powdery version of Essence, might appreciate this lys rose version, a more versatile, brighter flanker which still remains extremely chic and sophisticated. Higly recommended for those who can appreciate lily flower in all her splendour.

I adore Lys Rose for everyday wear. It's so pretty and fresh and classy! It's a green lily with a realistic raspberry. On first spritz, I smell a realistic carnation, right on front of my nose. The lily develops, then the raspberry comes in. The drydown is just pretty and classic and elegant. Compared to the original Baiser Vole, Lys Rose is a bit lighter and more "fun" - less serious. Still the same beautiful lily with an added dose of raspberry. Not a sweet, candy raspberry, but a fresh, realistic one. Sillage and longevity are better with the original, but not bad with Lys Rose. Cartier really did a beautiful job with the BV line - I love all of them!

Another fascinating version of the original !!! As my precedent reviewer, I just have to underline that ROSE refers to the PINK COLOR, and not to the flower. The perfume has nothing to do with the scent of roses, really. So those who are seeking for a new version of a roses perfume, will definitely get disappointed. I love it and I'm already dreaming of having it for Christmas... :-) The pink note reminds me of the Gucci Eau de perfume II, another favourite of mine. Pink, but not sweet; pink in the sense of troubling, discreet femininity... Thank you again, Mathilde Laurent !!!

I took a risk and blind bought this as it’s virtually impossible to get in the UK, so I grabbed it for Xmas. Yes, it’s sweet and girly, but it’s also cheerful and uplifting and I do get the signature note of green lily within it as with all Baiser Vole fragrances. I’m really pleased with it. I now have 4 of the fragrances in this line and I reach for them often.

I've been swooning over season 2 of Bridgerton and Anthony's whispering of "lilies..." so I just doused myself in Baiser Vole Lys Rose: a gorgeous scent I scored at Marshalls for the shocking price of $14.99 for a 100 ml. I wish now that I had bought the 2-3 more bottles they had in stock, but hopefully those who bought them appreciate them as much as I do.

I love this scent and the way it transforms. On the first sprays you get a crisp, slightly spicy GREEN plant smell. After it dries down it smells like pure sugary PINK flower petals. This is also where the berry comes out. It’s very classy without being too mature. Doesn’t last super long but a guy told me I smelled good. BEAUTIFUL bottle.

A romantic lily. Not too sweet with something nostalgic to it. There are a few scents I own that seem to capture variations on my favourite word: love. This is definitely one of them. It's that moment you're opening a love letter or valentine. It's the stolen kiss of its name.

Silken elegance. Dry and cool, silky lily with a light sprinkle of powder and a hint of natural raspberry. Not quite sweet or tart. I picture a breeze at sunset, when I'm wearing a white pantsuit and giant gold hoops each time I smell this. (My inner Sade, yes? lol) Gorgeous!

Amazing sweet-spicy raspberry and lily scent aside, this has impeccable performance in sillage and longevity. All Cartiers I tried have that in common. This is one of my favourites. Love the cap on the bottle.

Nothing else to add to all your beautiful reviews, except my regret for having only a few drops in my bottle. Only a skin scent for me, soft and pleasant, but worthy enough to justify a repurchase.

Oh my God! What an essence! I am not a fan of these notes, but as soon as I tried it I felt an overwhelming feeling of happiness, sweetness. Such feminine,antipressant perfume!

I simply love it! Such a good perfume. Really essential and elegant. Definetely my favourite one among the Baiser Vole serie.

I know there is no rose listed here(though it's listed on my sample)but I can detect a hint of rose petals blending delicately with lily,which I really like,I can't get slightest amount of raspberry or anything fruity here it's a soft,gourgeous floral with delicate sweetness,very likable,silky and natural I have another rose+lily fragrance which I also like,issey miyake floral..but I find this one longer lasting and more natural because there's no musky or woodsy base here,it's just as sniffing natural lily petals and some roses among them it's a simple scent and this makes it even more appealing for me I just added it to my spring perfumes want list,it's too delicate to show it's beauty in cold weather but I'm gonna add it happily to my collection in spring ❤️❤️❤️ p.s:I can detect something like a faint raspberry note as it dries down but I'm not sure about it...it's still very pretty after an hour...though my sample is edt version it's not turned faint after an hour of application Edit: Spring arrived and I decided to find my sample of Cartier lys rose and give it another try and decide wether I really need it in my collection or not since it's not a cheap perfume and I remembered it to be very simple Here comes my decision after two full wears: I absolutely need a bottle of this beauty ASAP! Votes show that it has moderate longevity on most people but not in my case.it stays +12 hours on my dry skin!it's amazing! I think my skin which usually absorbs most perfumes keeps high quality white florals in a crazy way.sillage is moderate when first applied and slows down to soft whitin an hour but this soft,delicate scent lingers on my skin whole day as a beautiful and refreshing skin scent.lily is the strongest note here,natural,clean and fresh lily of original baisar vole but it's less crisp and more sweetness.green shades of baisar vole are replaced by pink color here and citrus notes are replaced by a very faint raspberry note I'm a newbie to baisar vole family and I believe lys rose is the best introduction fragrance for me since I can't get along well with green,citrusy scents.lys rose has a touch of sweetness and a hint of berryrose undertone which makes this fresh lily soliflores more appealing to me All in all it's fresh,luminous,clean,feminine and safe and although very soft in sillage,is incredibly longlasting on me and I willadd it to my spring and summer must have list ❤❤❤❤

I adore the original Baiser Volé, because it is so rich, natural, warm and a bit creamy. The downside of the original is that it has no citrusy freshness, no gentle sweetness to offset the green quality which is nice, but can sometimes be too much. I was anticipating that the Lys Rose version would be exquisite, since just a little bit of both sweetness and some kind of fruity freshness could make the original--which is nothing but lily--less easy to tire of. I was wrong. Lys Rose has the same raspberry candy effect you encounter in Baiser Fou--albeit not too cloying, since there is no white chocolate here. While the lily stays just as graceful, the sweet "raspberry" here just doesn't match the fresh and natural composition beneath it. It smells more pleasant as the creamy lily develops over the candy smell, but in the end I feel baffled why it loses so much magic. The fragrance is almost the same, the initial sweet burst isn't bad after I sample it again. But if this were somehow tweaked it could be truly beautiful. Maybe a dash of tart fresh lemon to offset the overly sweet meeting the imposingly green base... Nevertheless, if I had a bottle, I am sure I would wear it sometimes. It doesn't smell cheap, just doesn't stand out enough.

I approached Baiser Volé Lys Rose with caution, as I'm afraid of raspberry being too sweet and overpowering. However, Lys Rose turns out to be a wonderful dual of lily and raspberry. There aren't much green leaves as in the original EDP and EDT, while the lily in Lys Rose is the same interpretation in the Baiser Volé series. However, the raspberry really adds something different. It has enough tartness to contrast the sweet creaminess of the lily. It's also sweet in a deep way, adding a sensual depth to the romantic lily. Moreover, it's relatively dry and far from being overpowering. It feels like the smell wafts with the lily, contrary to sticking the nose into a jar of raspberry jam. The sillage is soft and the longevity is around 8 hours. This seemingly simple compostion is handled with care. It's fruity and floral, but still retains the romantic elegance of the Baiser Volé series. The deep sweetness of raspberry really adds another dimension to the creamy lily in Lys Rose. An interesting flanker in the Baiser Volé line.

I have been looking for this fragrance a long time, it is one of those scents that is familiar in which i have smelled on people but had no clue what it was. Then I picked it up and tried it in house of Fraser last week and my I feel like I have been reunited with a long lost relative. I am aware this scent has just only recently came out, but it seems familiar yet distant, i am assuming it is similar to one in which was present in my childhood. I feel like i can wear this perfume now, i feel mature enough, i feel like a grown woman. For that reason this scent makes me feel happy and sad, sad that i am no longer an innocent child and now i am a mature woman and i reminisce back to easier times. This fragrance does make me feel peaceful, accepeting and relaxed, it is a very casual, familiar reassuring scent to me. P.s. I have not commented on the notes cause I cannot really identify them individually, however they do not seem as straight forward as outlined above.

Lovely! Gorgeous! A cloud of soft floral fruity pleasure! It is a bit powdery and 100% feminine. Beautiful and noble. Surely it is my favorite lily scent. Most of lily fragrances are too harsh for me, so I think I've been very lucky to find eventually my perfect lily! All in all, it's delicate scent for incurably romantic women. Update: At first it is quite green, but soon it changes into subtle sweet & soft, quite spicy scent. Therefore, I think it is appropriate for almost all seasons, but it is better for cold season. Update2: In summery heat it has been too spicy for me, but in autumn it's perfect! I recommend to wear it in moderate and low temperatures, because then it really blooms. Update3: The cooler it gets, the more I like it!

I sprayed this on a clean cotton pad to test it and after waiting my usual thirty seconds to let the initial spray settle, I smelled it and was immediately reminded of acetone. I let it dry down for several more minutes and kept sniffing, my nose not quite able to grasp what I was smelling until about thirty minutes into the dry down. Then, I smelled a beautiful bouquet of dewy fresh lilies with what I swore were sugared pink roses, but turns out is raspberry. This smells much better than the original to my nose and gives a feeling of taking a refreshing shower with lily/pink rose soap. I will definitely be testing this out more as the summer progresses as I think it will bloom nicely in the heat.

I just had to try this new Cartier! The bottle is lovely and the scent is equally pleasant, not too original but nice, simple, elegant and easily wearable. I like the fact that it's still a floral, not a fruity one, because the fruit is gentle and not overpowering. I guess there is more than just Lily and Raspberry going on here. Note lists sometimes are funny. It's a light perfume with a delicate feminine touch, yet high quality and quite persistant. It's clear that it's a flanker because it keeps the main note of Lily but it blends it with a gentle twist. It's Baiser Volee with Lily and powder and a touch of pink. Perfect for warm climates.

I enjoyed this scent a lot! It started out with a rich but bright raspberry note mixed in with a surprisingly indolic lily and a powdery, barely noticeable rose. A bit later on I got a light shampoo-like vibe before it turned into raspberry scented powder. It’s surprisingly similar to Insolence EDT by Guerlain, but not as sweet. I wish it lasted a bit longer; I got maybe seven hours of wear time before it vanished although it turns into a skin scent after about two hours. I would definitely recommend this a great casual warm weather scent for someone who likes lilies and tart fruity scents.

Like MarjaV, I received my sample on an official Cartier card that mentions there's rose in the fragrance. So, no, I don't think the name just refers to the color. That and, well, you can smell it. It's gentle, feminine and modest. This is the kind of floral you can wear at the office without leaving a trail of sneezes behind you. The raspberry adds a nice hint of sweetness. My only gripe is that it disappears far too soon even for an EDT. You basically have to press your nose to your skin to smell it after about 3 hours. That's too bad because this is a very pretty, nearly aquatic floral.

Delicately beautiful. I love this perfume. This scent is very light. Lys Rose sits close to the skin but lasts quite a long time on clothing. I wore it before bed and could still smell it on my clothing the next morning. I smell lily, raspberry fruity sweetness, delicate rose petals, and a hint of mint. It's slightly less cold than the original and it is certainly the best representation of spring of the 3 Voles I have (OG, Essence, and Lys Rose). The flip top bottle design and ombre colour are both gorgeous. The sprayer is sometimes awkward. All the bottles in the Vole line are lovely. -

I think it's a very nice scent. My first association is that it smells like a very good flower shop. It's cold (and aren't these places usually cold?), the main note is lily (don't they always smell like lilies?), high end (in a very elegant shopping mall), but after all - it's just a shop, not an art gallery, not a temple... nothing too complicated. Anyway, I find it very very pleasant, light and feminine, perfect for spring. I might even get a fb this year.

Simple but very, very well crafted. The raspberry avoids being sickeningly sweet fruit juice and I'm pretty sure I smell a subtle rose petal in the heart. Still, the lily is the real star here. Flankers usually don't do much for me, but this is a pleasant enough one. The original is better, but this is different enough to not seem like a blatant cash-in. The only downside is that it doesn't last terribly long.

On my skin just a very green, fresh rose, no lily. It's serendipitous that it's exactly the rose I was looking for - in a lily perfume. A lot of other roses are overpowering, whereas I want one that is actually as faint and fresh as a real rose. There is just a hint of sweetness here. Overall it is a very short-lived and low-sillage perfume but with a lovely scent, great for hot weather.

I found this at Marshall’s for $15 which was a steal because it’s so good. It’s very berry heavy, all I smell is berries and the Lilly plays second. There is also a cool note like spearmint but it’s not listed as part of this fragrance. I have the eau de toilette and it wears for a long time like 6-7 hours. This would be a nice layering perfume with another berry based scent.

This one is my favorite of all "Baiser Volé" perfumes, Probably because it has this sweet vibe. You can definitely smell the raspberry, well mixed with floral lily which is making it easier to enjoy for my nose. The pink bottle is very nice and classy. The smell is clean, sweet and floral but is not too much, very classy perfume I would say.

Got it at a really good price and blind bought it, knowing that I love lily. Unfortunately the raspberry is too prominent for me. The lily comes better through in the dry-down though. I like it but should have gone for the original Baiser Vole which is more pure lily. It is rare to find a good lily scent and here it is done very well.

So disgusted with my skin chemistry! All I am getting from this fragrance is soft, elegant powder. No sweetness, no spiciness, no raspberry, no greenness, nothing but powder. :( I'm not giving up though; I'll try this when it gets hotter here in another month and see if I can at least get the raspberry to come out...

This is very easy breezy light and yummy lilies. Lilies with a touch of sweetness to it. not green fresh lilies. Instantly lifts my mood each time i spray it. Too bad it doesnt last long on paper/sweaters ... and even last shorter on my dry skin. i love it nonetheless and am on the look for a full bottle!

I am dieing to try this one . Seing the notes listed is only Lilly and Raspberrys. it got me pussled , i found this notes online aswell "Contains notes of pink lily, rose, raspberry, galbanum & vanilla " sounds wonderfull and more inline of how people are describing it Hope to own this real soon

I can't believe it's just lily and raspberry. The two notes I sometimes am suspicious of. This composition is not bad at all. Just enough fruity and just enough floral. Not too sweet or synthetic. Smells like summer in a bottle. Perfect for sunny summer days. Lovely.

Definitely a skin scent, no sillage at all. Personally I can smell only lilies and I hoped for raspberry scent. Nice perfume but nothing extraordinary or "must have" for me.

Finally a lily perfume I can wear! Probably because it's more rose than lily, but I can still smell the lily. Overall, it's sweet and refreshing at the same time.

Delicate and very pleasant. Unfortunately, after an average bottle get tired.

Lys Rose means Pink Lily in French. There is NO rose in this perfume.

I like this fragrance. It's very floral but not too heavy. You can spray on quite a lot without becoming nauseated, which is ideal during the summer. The raspberry note balances well but the lily definitely steals the show.

Not a fan of this Baiser Vole flanker. It has a similar powdery, musky quality, but I do not enjoy the rose here at all. It doesn't even really smell like rose. It smells like some kind of floral with some synthetic musk. Not particularly sweet to my nose, which is a good thing in my book. Sillage is pretty good too, to my surprise, for a perfume that is not cloying in nature. I just think this perfume is kind of bland and doesn't really bring anything to the table. A pale shadow of Baiser Vole in a prettier bottle.

This smells like a female hair removal product. A raspberry scented Nair hair removal product. Absolutely horrible.

This is a sweet delicious fruity floral I'm not familiar with Baiser Vole and I realize this is a flanker and probably nothing like Baiser Vole but whatever I love it! I was surprised when I first smelled it on a test scent strip. I thought it would be a bit sophisticated and heavier as most of the Cartiers are more complex Lys Rose, French for "Lily Rose" is just that a fine mixture of white lily and pink rose. The liquid is pink and smells more like a pink rose than a white lily. I can still detect a soapy white lily but it's bigger on rose and the fruit candy scent provided by raspberry. Sweet and delicious, airy, feminine and soapy, a pink perfume for women who like their florals sweet, without musk or patchouli. This is a pleasant scent and a breath of fresh air because it's such a sweet perfume compared to some of the other Cartiers. I love raspberry and rose. This is a good pairing of both scents and can easily be worn by younger crowds, including even a schoolgirl ages 14 to 19. Downside is it's linear so you get the raspberry and rose scent and that's about it, but it does have decent longevity. I was wearing it on my way to my boyfriend Stephen's place and it was still on me when I walked into the door. He liked it on me. The price is ok, I purchased it at about 50 bucks. This is not a bad scent if you like sweet florals.

Received a sample in a swap. I really like it. It does however have a striking resemblance to daisy eau so fresh(which I adore!) It's daisy ESF + rose. It's very pretty. The rose in this is like a dewy rose in a bouquet of flowers. I do like rose as a note, but sometimes the way rose comes across in a perfume is in a dusty kind of way? I guess that's the best way I could describe it. Lol.this is a modern rose that just emanates beauty. I just noticed that rose isn't listed in the notes.. I'm shocked because I'm sure I smell rose in this! Edit: November 2017 and I did buy a FB. i hadn't tried the original baiser vole prior to smelling Lys rose. Lys rose shares that green feel to it that is baiser vole. It's baiser vole with raspberry. Still quite lovely! My boyfriend, who only comments when he dislikes what I'm wearing, or much less often likes what I'm wearing, said that whatever I have on today smells really good. I just thought that was worth mentioning. Lol

I prefer Lys Rose to the EDP and EDT, this is still very much about lilies, but they are overall softer, more rounded, when in EDT they were real green and sharp... Lys rose also has a hint of spiciness, but all in all, this is very stylish, very feminine, pretty, and for spring just perfect!!the raspberry is more tart than sweet on me, but real close to the real thing! I like it, very nice creation, in the tradition of Cartier, subtle elegance..on me the lilies open up in the drydown, and the raspberries take a back stage. I can say this is an impressive spring fragrance! I wouldn't dare compare this creation to a Victoria Secret scent though!!

Tested twice from as reputable a store as one would expect. I have tried but i am not smelling anything much...quickly. Initially and throughout i get a synthetic nylon like material.Faint very dilute rose if any and the lily appears so abrasive to me. Raspberry in the far distance. Its all so thin and insipid, barely there. Like a little drop of weak pink powder. Ooh!..and i do understand sheer or transparent and masterfully delicate, but im sure thats not whats occuring here. I would say great in the eyes of a youth with a future becoming perfumista. The bottle is VERY nice though. But is that enough?

So to me this smelled like a rose I've been aching to smell! I've smelled a ton of rose perfumes, but the opening of this pefume by far supercedes any other. I haven't experienced such a fresh opening on any other. This does not smell old lady like, sweet, powdery, synthetic, rosewatery, or any cheap product claiming to have a rose scent. This is a very fresh rose. Love it! BUT ... the opening does not last forever ... and I wish it did. I wouldn't buy it because it dries down to a sweet, vanilla, rose. And that is not what I like in any perfume.

My first impression in first 30 seconds - chocolate and sweet raspberry cigarette (I don't smoke btw, just my imagination). Quite spicy and deep, sweet raspberry with dense white floral. It is somewhat sensual, soft, silky. Bit too spicy for me, but I would cuddle this perfume lol. This perfume is either for sexy woman who is confident or woman 40+. This perfume could fit confident, feminine woman with wild permanent wave hair from 80s. It reminds me something, but I can't really understand what, maybe something from my past.

"Oh hell no",was my first reaction when I used it on a Indian Summer Morning.It was cloying,strong,too sweet,too sharp.Shoved it at the back of my Perfume collection. Fast forward to a Cool Sept Autumn Morning.I was cleaning my Closet,saw it and thought wth,it can't kill me,let me try it again.And Bammm,wth "I loved it". All the things I hated about it disappeared.Weather plays an important role.Cool weather made it Juicy warm With an hint of Sourness.I love it it's strong, and its a sillage monster.12-13 hrs.

I am on an exploration these days. Surprise myself with comparisons I have never thought of before. Today I put on the Lys Rose and to me it smells almost identical to the Van Cleef Feerie. Which is not a great compliment because both of them are sweet fruity - flowery concoctions that will not become classics, just pretty generic. Yesterday I discovered that Baiser Vole is pretty much identical to Balmain's Balmya. I guess, all these discoveries will lead to some cuts from my collection.

Baiser Vole Lys Rose - a pink lily and nothing more. Yet not generic, not boring. I was surprised by how much I liked the smell, it smells floral green, somewhat bitter with a bit of tangy sweetness of raspberry. I was scared of a single floral plus a sweet fruity note. It is long lasting yet doesn't change much, all you get is literally a pink lily, a freshly picked one. Smell not the bloom, but the other ending, the stem of the flower, the greenish bitter freshness. Cool.
