Baiser Volé Parfum

This one feels like a soft-focus memory .. powdery, intimate, and quietly elegant. The lily here is delicate and creamy, softened by heliotrope’s almondy floral touch ... I'll come back and edit this later but I think this is really beautiful, I love it. I like "following" Mathilde Laurent on her journeys of creation, trying to see what she was aiming for, what her intention was / is. I have the same reaction here as with "Baiser Fou" which I also love and see getting bashed.

EDP and this one is totally my signature. But i much more into a perfume beacuse of its powdery are noticeable even though its sillage not a strong one

I fell in love... quickly, intensely and began to regret not having bought this parfum on sale when I had the chance. I was too stubborn, I held on too tightly to the EDP thinking that it could not be improved... this proved it could. This is a beautiful, softly sweet, powdery, creamy, white floral. On a normal fragrance day, I detest heliotrope and tonka bean notes... but somehow with that creamy lily, the three notes came together and became magic. Moderate silage creating an inviting fragrant cloud around you, and good longevity (up to 6/7 hours), what more do you need? This fragrance gives me visual images of an A-line Italian lace wedding dress, your great grandmother's lace veil, a bouquet of lilies, white satin pumps and a quartet playing Pachelbel's Canon in D. Update: I retested it and my love is fading away. It's still a like, but there is no need to acquire a full bottle anymore. I blame Narciso's musc poudrée.

I am trying out a sample of the Baiser Vole parfum, and I'm really enjoying it. I get the Heliotrope mostly on the initial spray, as if it was a top note rather than the heart note. That almond powderiness dries down pretty quickly to reveal a pleasant green lily. The green note is pretty noticeable, like the lily note consisted of a whole meadow of lilies, including the grass surrounding them. I love a good grass note in a Spring/Summer floral. I actually prefer green notes to citrus notes for my fresh-smelling fragrances, so this is a perfect development in the scent for me. I really don't get much Tonka or vanilla, but that could change deeper into the dry down...idk yet. It won't bother me at all if it doesn't, though. I haven't tried the EDP version, but I don't think I'll need to since I'm getting enough enjoyment from the parfum.

If you are somewhat on the fence about Lily or Heliotrope this is def not a scent for you. But this is an incredibly soft, intimate floral with a lot of power behind it. Long lasting and compliment getting.

So strange this is called the parfum version ! It's sharper and fresher/ thinner than the eau de parfum, (which I prefer). The parfum also smells more synthetic. I'll stick to the edp.

When I first smelt this fragrance on my skin I thought that it was a stronger and slightly sweeter version of the Baiser Volé EDP, but this perfume changed a lot through its wear on me and I ended up not liking it anywhere near as much as the original edp. Baiser Volé Parfum started out smelling a fair bit like a spicy lily perfume, but I found that after it being on my skin for more than 30 minutes that it started smelling much woodier, spicier, vanilic and slightly tobacco-like. It made me sneeze a lot too. I really don't like tonka bean and/or heliotrope in my perfumes because of this. It definitely wasn't as white floral later on in its life and I felt that it was more of a woody and spicy perfume at the end. It honestly gave me a bit of a headache. It also wasn't as feminine towards the end, though it did still remain somewhat feminine for me. It definitely feels more like a fall/winter fragrance to me than a spring/summer fragrance and it smelt more like something you'd wear at night as well. The juice from this bottle ended up lasting around 9 hours on my skin and the sillage was on the slightly stronger side for me. I don't think that it would make a good office fragrance because of this, whereas I could see Baiser Volé EDP being more work appropriate if applied with a slightly lighter hand. In total I'd give Baiser Volé Parfum by Cartier an average 6/10 score. It wasn't bad, but I don't think that I'd buy it anytime soon and I'm glad I bought a full bottle of the original Baiser Volé EDP instead.

Wow, this Parfum edition smells incredibly realistic, like you've stuck your nose an inch away from a lily compared to the other flankers! It's got a bit of that waxiness and butteryness that all the other ones lack. It even hints at the bit of spiciness and freshness that you can find in a lily when your nose is closest to the stamen or pistil (the inner center of the bloom). I'm quite impressed by this Parfum flanker. It's too bad the realism doesn't last the entire scent journey, as it manages to be so accurate with it's crisp, yet waxy texture; buttery yet softly spiced aroma. When it gets down to the deep dry down it's much more simplified, and flattened.

I’m rating this ok because I’m not a powdery girl, but really this is rated much higher for me because it’s one of the perfumes my mom wears, especially when we go somewhere fancy. It’s definitely warmer and more comforting smelling on her. It’s a little mature but very unique. I could see myself liking this on me more when I’m older, or buying to have something special and nostalgic

Lily, heliotrope and tonka should have been a warmer more decadent version, but this parfum is greener, sharper and fresher (thinner) than the EDP which I used to enjoy. It smells like a champagne bubble bath as it has a synthetic chemical soapiness. Not enough lily and too sharp and green for me.

I tried baiser vole essence in 2014, it smelled like real lily. This one only has a green sharp note. That's it. Disappointed.

If you bought this thinking it'd be similar to the original EDP, or a hybrid between it and the Essence de Parfum, you'd be sadly mistaken. I accidentally received this instead of the EDP that I bought and paid for, and let me tell you that it was an inexcusable difference in scent. The EDP is fresh, green realistic lily. This is a nondescript powdery soapy mess. I get no lily, barely heliotrope, if we can call it that, and not nearly enough oomph or any sweetness to try and attach a tonka bean note to this. This smells like nondescript bathroom air freshener on me. This smells like a candle you pick up to smell at Dollar General that has been sitting on the shelf untouched for years, and it's covered in dust. And to top it off, projection is laughable. I'm not sure if my scathing review is just because I was forced to smell it and wanting something else, or just knowing what Cartier has produced in the past and smelling this unrefined clusterf*ck after the fact has filled me with disappointment. Sorry to those who left glowing reviews, I can't understand what everyone else is getting from this. This is the worst flanker of the Baiser Vole line by far, and also one of the worst fragrance releases I've smelled in a while. Do better, or don't bother.

I guess I’ll be the first dissenter. I got the chance to test the new Cartier Baiser Vole Parfum a few weeks ago after much anticipation. To put my opinion into perspective, I adore the clean, fleshy lily and the cozy sweetness of the vanilla in BV Essence, and I like the cool, fresh lily in the EDP. The lily in the EDP is detectable in BV Parfum, but with an undercurrent of something warm and vegetal like a hay field on a sunny day. Also, while this has some sweetness compared to the EDP (which I don’t find sweet at all), it’s nothing like Essence. The tonka here smells more grassy/earthy so it’s sweet like how hay can smell sweet, but not at all like vanilla. I’m surprised vanilla is in the scent profile, and second only to the lily at that. It's a nice and fitting addition to the line, but of the four BVs I’ve tried (Lys Rose being another one) this is my least favorite. Sillage is about arm’s length, and longevity is around 6 hours.

Decrmber 2022 I tried this perfume first time in October at the airport and had similar experience like some reviewres below - where is the beautiful lily i so much love in the Baiser Voile line??? If i look at the notes - they check all my favorite note boxea, but when i sprayed it onto my skin - something weirdly smelling comes out. It indeed reminds me of a "warm hay" as well. Plus the projection is almost non existent as well as lasting power. So dissapointed. I retried it recently again, in hopes that in cold winter weather it will smell different, yet same case. This is not a beautiful sister from the Baiser voile line, but feels more like an ugly bastard child. Probably too rude but honest opinion. I better stick to my EDPs and hunt down s bottle of extrait, that i wanted for years now.

I ordered the EDP from a third party seller, was sent this instead. Thank heavens I was able to get a refund. What the heck is Cartier thinking? This is nothing like the EDP, and it’s downright awful.

At first sniff for first impression, i drew my nose back in disgust. I tried giving it another chance, same scrunched up nose in disdain. This perfume literally stinks, I'm so sorry. One of the worse fragrances i've smelled in a long time. I wanted to like this one as i liked La Panthere from Cartier, but sadly this is a hate. UPDATE: Now that i;'ve been under the weather for almost a week now I was bored and decided to retest it again. Now it doesnt smell so bad! (i dont know if this has anything to do with me being stuffy/sick)....BUT now it actually just smells like a mild lotion. Definitely reminds me of those little complimentary toiletries you get at hotels (lotion, shampoo/conditioner) or even a basic sunscreen. In all, reminds me of when I last went on vacation to a hotel. So now i don't love it, but surely dont hate it like i used to & gives flashbacks to good times.

I wish I liked it. I love Baiser Volé Essence de Parfum and was excited to receive this as a Xmas gift. The excitement gave way to disappointment very fast. BIG disappointment. No lily. No vanilla. Some strange green smell. Could be artificial hay. Projection under 1 inch. Lasts 30 minutes maximum. Not at all what I expected from Cartier, from the word "perfume" or for the price for that matter. I'm beginning to think I received a spoiled batch. Requested an exchange or refund from Cartier. Answer pending.

I hate this scent!!!!! Smells like a pharmacy what is this abomination!!!!
