La Panthère Eau de Parfum Edition Limitée 2021

I love this Panthera, probably an adaptation to the new times. The aesthetic of this limited edition fragrance is a beauty. It's a floral-fruity chypre, very interesting, and really well mixed. Plus, the bitter moss continues there, a little hidden but still present. This fragrance is not shy. I tried it in summer; it was too much. Now, during the cold weather, it's mellow, with the right strength and power for the cold weather.

This is nice . I instantly knew it was a chypre. At first spray , I thought it was going to be a no . Then it started to dry down a bit . It smells similar to the Fredrick merralle? Musc ravager , or the kenzo jungle elephant, mixed with flowerbomb . Sweet , earthy , a bit powdery , old school cover girl foundation smell. It’s not bad but I don’t think I’d wear it out of the house .

Ah, they couldn't help themselves. They HAD to go generic tutti-frutti. This has nothing to do with La Panthere. Why not just create a new scent, instead of ruining a perfectly good line? Too, too bad of you, Mlle. Laurent. Incidentally, I went through the entire La Panthere line and with a couple of exceptions they all have pretty much the same components as this one, even the original. This is odd because hubby gave me the original as soon as it came out (2014), and that has no fruity notes whatsoever. It's mossy, woody, earthy, but I can't smell fruits for the life of me, which is why hubby bought if for me as he knows that I hate the fruity sweety messes of today. What's going on?
