La Panthère Etincelante

I am writing second review on this instead of editing the first, for who knows what reason. Anyways, took me 3 good years to find this and I finally scored a bottle dirt cheap on ebay. Even though my previous review is criticizing this flanker, I have to add that I wanted this edition purely for collecting purposes. After wearing it for a full day, this is, in fact, a regular La Panthere, but holly Jesus!!! It does not have a slight shimmering effect like Carat does, this is full on glitter, and quite possibly the best smelling gold glitter you will ever put your nose on! I was quite disappointed in how subtle shimmering edition of Carat is, but this one makes up for it threefold. Very good longevity compared to regular La Panthere too, it could be the fact that this particular bottle had some time to mature. Yes, this is worth losing your *hit over. I can admit when I am wrong!😌

This is nostalgic for me. It reminds me of my best friend’s mom growing up. She had all these face creams and lotions and every time I went into their pink tiled bathroom (this was 70s/80s) it just smelled ultra feminine and fresh like a lady had taken a shower with a mix of beautiful scents. On the dry down I get a soft, fruity/rose scent mixed in with the oak moss and patchouli. I really like this scent. Yes, it’s vintage but I think because it’s soft, it can hold up to today and still be very wearable. I’m glad I have it in my collection and who doesn’t want this badass bottle?

Today I saw it in meysam perfume shop and didn't hesitate to try it.I only have la panthere legere and had tried original la panthere a year ago.comparing the limited black version to what I have in my mind from original la panthere,I'd say that they seem the same.the same silky gardenia,sweet musk,oak moss and soft,luxurious leather.but here I can't detect much tart fruity notes.maybe my nose is tricking me.I can't say for sure until I test them side by side. Great longevity and radiates very well

This smells RICH! Filthy rich! It’s such a beautiful scent (and gorgeous bottle) - the notes are blended so masterfully that is hard to pick them up individually. I get a perfectly spicy and powdery fragrance with a bit of sparkly pear and rhubarb to make it breathable. This is not an every day scent - this is elegant, all black, high heels, fur coat and solid gold jewellery type of scent!

According to Cartier's website, this is nothing but the original La Panthere EDP, with added shimmering effect. Exact same formula....So, i am confused as to why is everyone losing their *hit over it, comparing it to original La Panthere. It is, literally, La Panthere in a limited edition bottle.🙄

This is a really unique smelling perfume. I agree with others saying it seems confident and rich. Very strong, to me it could only be worn at night while dressed up.

It reminds me of when I used to go to the mall back in 2016 when testing those perfumes at macys but in a good way.. its sweet not too much, it does smells like dried fruits and maybe a little bit of rose I dont get too much of it, there is some leather.. mmm Im not sure how to properly describe it but thats what I get, I just got my bottle today so maybe will update later if I get something new. Edit: I would describe this as sweet fruity leather

I always thought they should have made the bottle black since panthers are black just makes sense. Lovely bottle and must have in my collection even if it's the same fragrance.

'Etincelante' means sparkling. What a lovely name for a scent. And the bottle is gorgeous. I love my original La Panthere, but I would certainly like to try this one.
