This had amazing impact before I even smelled the first spray of misty cedar and almond nectar that awaited. The bottle is, in a word, stunning! The heavy circular glass is naturally clasped by the hand, like grasping an ancient amulet. Even the spray tube looks absolutely intentional. The first spray is released as a soft mist, encircling you without noticeably wetting the skin. This is also purposeful design, for the perfume itself is enormous and eternal! Be gentle with this dragon, until you can fully expect how strong a kiss it possesses. The notes that seem to dominate the opening are almond, amber, and Benzoin, reminiscent of Amber Gold, and a touch of Exotic Essence. At first, I shrugged slightly. But then it happened. The heart moved in, taking turns with the base notes, and setting forth an amazing, powdery soft dry down. Its simply fantastic! It feels cozy and comforting, without any one chord dominating. Instead, and I know this sounds contradictory, for all its strength, the dry down shows deft restraint and subtlety. It's in this quiet time, floral notes come forth. This is a perfume that not only performs, it evolves and transcends, and reminds me of the nuance changes traveling as a child through the southwest. The desert constantly changing around us, and yet, the feeling like all was connected - the same shifting fragrances, warmed and awakened by the sun.

I have a 30ml of this and it is heaven. I call it "The Breath of the Dragon'. Worn in winter, it's got this crazy alchemy going on where, as it hits the receptors in my nose, it's morphing second by second so it feels like I'm breathing in the fiery breath of my dragon lover as they whisper sweet nothings in my ear or maybe nuzzle my neck. Magical. I don't feel this effect in summer when I prefer to wear it at night and cooler days. It's lovely year round. Very slightly powdery, deep, woody, rich, smooth, creamy, sweet and nutty. Very well blended. The amaretto accord is really nice.

My first Cartier perfume i ever brought last year. I have zero regrets I brought 100ml and it cost me way over my perfume budget but my God worth every penny. It's luxury, it's classy, elegant, the bottle is heavy and beautifully crafted and adore the thick black stalk like atomiser. I adore almond notes anyway so added with boozy amaretto, chocolate and spices it took my soul. I would defo repurchase this and always want a bottle in my collection. Thank you Cartier ❤

Elixir infused with spices, vanilla, chocolate, caramel, and woods. Lasts all day and then some, keeps its boozy facets all day but it's not overwhelming. Cold weather only, just needs body heat.

I keep telling myself that I like the fragrance, but I'm not amazed by it. It smells nice but it is a black-tie fragrance and I don't see myself attending any black tie events anytime soon (covid). The fragrance has an overload of spices like cinnamon and an overload of patchouli, with a sweeter dry-down that smells like full-on patchouli in the full dry-down I took a shower after spraying it on my skin and the sent stayed there for 6 hours after I showered! Great longevity, a great bougie black-tie fragrance and I can't wait to find somewhere to wear it to. Update: Although I still love the scent, I decided to give it to my mom. The fragrance is beautiful but it is a bit too mature when it dries down for me. The patchouli makes this fragrance a beast. Also, I can't see myself actually wearing this anywhere... I like going to black-tie affairs, but because the dry-down is not as sexy as the opening, I would not make this fragrance my first choice.
