Pasha de Cartier Edition Noire

Excellent fragrance. Yes it is somewhat “generic” for Cartier, but it smells great. It opens with a citrus aroma that is still heavier than a freshie imo. It quickly evolves into something along the lines of Gucci Guilty or Gucci Guilty Black and then evolves again into a spicier version of Guilty. After about 20 minutes it is almost a dead on Azzaro Elixir Pour Homme minus the berry notes. I love Azzaro Elixir. On the dry down it smooths out and has a Lacoste L 12.12 or Armaf Niche Platinum vibe, but creamier. Edition Noir is not groundbreaking, but it is an extremely well blended scent.. crowd pleasing.. and a great all occasion juice. It has more class than others in this vein imo. I am however, not surprised with people saying they’re not impressed. It’s a “mainstream” Cartier scent to my nose. In its defense, not every fragrance from high end designer houses needs to be revolutionary or “niche” in the sense that it breaks away from what the average person thinks is a great smelling cologne. Despite the spice it is very smooth and very like able. I can see it being casual or semi formal, since it might be a bit too sweet for a “serious” situation. Its not very floral to my nose, more aquatic than floral.. with sweetness and warmth that would be great in the cooler months. I’m not a fan of floral men’s fragrances, so I’m very happy this isn’t. It’s not mature imo, but not a high school scent either. There’s other fragrances out there that are similar, but I can see this being the older, classier brother of those. Not synthetic or harsh. Not a club banger.. though I might wear it to the club. Very versatile. Ages are college and up, day to night, casual to semi formal. Great for a date, maybe even work, or really any occasion you can think of that you’d want to smell better than your typical running to the grocery store juice. I can see the ladies loving this, and I can see it being a possible signature scent, but more mature noses might shy away from this one. Not overly masculine, and not a syrupy fruit drink. Projection is good and longevity is great. I can’t find anything I dislike about this fragrance. I really like bordering love this scent. It’s probably one of the best all occasion scents in my collection. Overall.. amazing juice. Update: the dry down is amazing. A smoother Azzaro Elixir pour Homme with citrus instead of berries. I love this fragrance.

This fragrance is a great choice for a late night out on the town, and shines more as a fragrance for those looking to be discovered rather than announced. It's overwhelmingly powdery for the first 30 minutes, and then becomes a bit mellower and sophisticated as the other notes become more pronounced, turning into some kind of abstraction, something illusory. After the dry down you’re left with a complex and interesting citrus, cedar, mint, and powdery fragrance that will have you & others detecting the evolving components throughout the night. Personally, I don’t get the pepper or amber notes, but the complements are sufficient. As far as longevity it’s a bit on the shorter side. If you like to project you might find yourself unhappy with it after about 4 hours, whereas you might feel that’s really when it comes into its own as a more subtle fragrance if that’s what you prefer. If you’re planning to be out for a long time, you might consider bringing your bottle with you to spray again a bit later that evening. I often wear this fragrance to Espace or Barcadia. Overall it’s a subtle yet great 8.0/10 evening fragrance whose components never get boring. Unless, you know; you’re into that whole Yale thing.

I simply ADORE this fragrance, i have tried all the versions of Pasha de Cartier, and at some point had all of them in my collection, and this one i have to say is my favorite, i like it even more than the original 1992 version , the sport and the Fraicheur Menthe one. Its classy, manly, refined and elegant but at the same time modern, i love the opening and the drydown, the citrus, spicy and woody combination and also the fresh vibe i get from this is the heart of this Cartier liquid jewel. The bottle is beautiful also. The Pasha line never dissapoints me. I dont consider this as many others have stated here that this fragrance is "generic" and "mainstream", i disagree with that, if you want generic go with Bleu de Chanel or the vulgar One Million and stuff like that.... This scent can be used with a suit and tie or a nice shirt and jeans, and the age group 25 and up..... Sillage, Longevity and Projection is GOOD, but not great, it lasts on my skin for about 6 hours... I give this one a 9/10.........

nice piece... fruity and delicious. Gentle , classy and unique water. Well shaped in the meaning that the notes of ingredients above are not able to visualise the real touch oft it. I get more flower mix from it on a semi- warm rainy sumer day. I bet there is no mint, but instead may be a almost unnoticeable piece of vanilla. Just the citruces and the cedar are not offensive or vibrant. Delicious juice! I want to bite my hand :)))) There is no possibility to hate it as a man or woman. Not an offensive fragrance bomb, but capable enough to defend your clothes from cigarettes or cigar after-smell for example. NOIR?! No idea what is the meaning of this... I must perhaps turn off the lights and see what happens .Hi-hi! the fragrance is so sexy to me and 100% i will find somebody attracted from it to investigate its dark side. :) One more thing ... I really have no idea how somebody can create a certain fragrances , that starts smelling after a minute or two. Cartier does the job!!! UAU! :))))))))))

The sideline is lightly finished while inheriting the genes of the Pasha. The name "noir" almost misleads you, but this is not a heavy, sweet fragrance. If I were to give it a color, I would imagine blue, the blue of the ocean. It feels like the original Pasha mixed with the scent of the sea and less sweet. The base movement is the original Pasha itself, but the opening is young and airy with a predominance of sea scent and violet. I didn't even think of it as an evening scent. This feels like the vibrancy of a sunny spring to summer day. I had imagined an enveloping sweetness, heaviness, and thickness, The actual pasha edition noir is a light, slightly bitter, casual fragrance. It is strange to imagine it from the appearance of the bottle and the name, but since it reminds me a little of Armani eau de nuit, I think it is an interpretation as another noir.

This was my signature for many years. My mum bought it for me first and after I finished that 100ml bottle I bought a 150ml bottle that is now on it's dying bed. This fragrance can be worn in any season, any occasion, day/night time it just works. It's fresh but also sophisticated, citrusy and powdery, sweet and spicy. Masculine scent but not over the top masculine, very easy to wear, suitable for any age group. My ex girlfriend couldn't get enough of this smell, I used to spray this just for her to enjoy at home. Performance is average but you can always add a couple of sprays. Now that I found out about the fragrance world my aim is to explore and try different things but I'm 100% positive I'll be getting a third bottle of this classic in the future.

I was excited for my daily wear of this ever since I got sucked into buying it retail at the Duty Free shop in Heathrow. Pasha has an invigorating opening of green citruses, mint, a preview of cloves, some sort of unlisted fruit note like a berry-pear combo, and an ever-so-slight watery feel in the open. In the heart the fragrance evolves into an elegant soft cedar, complemented by the powdery floral tones of iris and heliotrope. Eventually the base comes through with a warm, slightly spicy finish of amber, black pepper, cloves, and violet. Fresh, spicy, fruity, powdery, classy almost aquatic. It's versatile enough to probably be rocked all year long except for exceptionally hot and blisteringly cold days. Love it.

I really like the smell of this. To my nose it smells like a powdery LNDL. The downside to this for me is that this is very weak. I can only smell this up close and it does not last very long. It was barely noticeable 6 hours in, and at the 8 hour mark it's gone completely. This is worth smelling, but beware of performance. Edit: I believe that the performance is better with more sprays. This has a good projection for about 1-3 hours then it begins to fade. It does last the workday on skin though. It has a good powdery clean type of scent on the dry-down.

Great Fragrance, its very versatile. Its not groundbreaking but its quite a long lasting scent. The best way to describe the opening is minty citrus. The mid is minty wood and some citrus in the background. And the dry down is sweet wood. great fragrance i have 2 bottles. BUY THE TESTERS they will run you about 30 bucks. great bang for your buck at the 30 dollar point for a one hundred ml. i think it is well blended and very well done while also not being groundbreaking. safe blind buy and an all around good scent for any weather.

Masterpiece - I got a sample and loved it, my order finally arrived yesterday, wore it today and right out of the gate, effusive praise from my barista :) This is a seductress, ideal for office and evening wear. Like others mentioned - despite the name and the bottle - I like this for Spring/Summer and the original Pasha for the Fall/Winter. For casual wear I'd go in other directions, but I will wear this when a statement is called for. I feel like a million bucks when I am wearing this scent.

Amazing fragrance! Another homerun from Cartier. When you mix Sexyness , luxury and professionalism in one bottle. Crisp citrus-amber and floral. Nice longevity I can get 7h hours and more. fair projection. Heavy compliments getter from the ladies. Very versatile but I suggest for office, formal event and dates. A mature fragrance, I don't see a man that have less then 25 years old wearing this. Spring and summer scent But Yes I do feel like a real Pasha when I wear this!8.5/10

Pasha Cartier Edition Noire somehow balances woody citruses, peppery aquatics, and sweet floral notes seamlessly into a unoffensive, long-lasting, and fresh classy scent. This is a compliment getter and has great sillage and longevity. I also appreciate how it evolves over time and is not linear, that makes it more interesting to wear for me. This seems like a warm weather scent because it comes off as fresh and light, not heavy or dark (despite what the name says).

This stuff is great. Dark and deep with an airy sweetness that tries hard to peek through. Smells like a luxurious shower gel starting off and turns into more shaving cream as it dries down. Projects above average for the first couple of hours and settles down to half an arms length for the rest of the 6-7 hours this lasts on my skin. Simple and nothing ground breaking, a good scent to own if you only want one fragrance or just want to be that guy that smells good.

I have bought a bottle on weekend, to be honest is one of the best perfumes I ever smelled, it is so different from the original Pasha. The longevity is awesome, the bottle design/color is very good. I think Cartier make a deal with this and that's the point of the flankers TO BE different from the original, NOT that ridiculous perfumes/flankers of Calvin Klein, Jean Paul Gaultier, Hugo Boss or even Paco Rabanne (the horrible Invictus).

Solid fragrance! It has an oldschool vibe to it, but it is very wearable, even for younger guys. The citrus and cedar are the main players here, and those notes are blended very well! It is a more woody fragrance in the dry down, very pleasant. I can see it worn year round, but better suited for spring. Overall, great value for the price.

I found this in a Macy's sampler pack and my word what a fragrance. Bought it soon after. Sophisticated yet sensual. Wearing this gets me compliments all the time. For an EDT it is strong enough but I will likely put some in a travel atomizer to top off. Can't wait till a cool fall date night to break this out!

This is probably my favorite cologne. It feels young and elegant and the same time and smells high quality. I feel like this could be a dior fragrance. The projection is above average and lasts a long time. The citruses kinda remind me of youthful fragrances and the woods are just so awesome here.

Tried this on a whim as I love the original and the Fraiche version that was just discontinued. The Noir moniker maybe somewhat of a misnomer as I find it light and wonderful and perfect for spring and fall, but will continue to use the Fraiche version in the summer and the original in the winter.

Great fragrance, as usual to be expected from Cartier, good projection and above average longevity. interesting scent that definitely has no chemical smell to it. For once I found a summer fragrance that doesn’t smell like a glass of juice!

woody amber and cedar accords rally grate on my skin which makes the output simply marvlous. Longivity : up to 8 hours. Projection : almost the same. Smell : 8/10. Bottle Design : 9/10. Cartier guys , thumps up & keep up the good work.

It is very closed to the sport version. I found the sport version more strong than this. Anyway they are good! Very good... compliments gater sensual and pleasant on the skin! Wow finally a great signature scent for me,

Very underrated fragrance. Its very manly, has great longevity, lingers throughout the whole day. It has a mature kind of character and can be used all year long. Great price aswell. 8/10

Smells really nice, with a powdery cedar smell with a little bit of fresh spiciness. One of my favorites but has poor performance. Only lasts 2hours for me with weak projection.

this one is classic and amazing perfume, last about 8 plus hours on skin and longer on clothes. very elegant evening parfum.

After so many years giving us magnificent fragrances but perhaps for a slightly more mature audience, Cartier, the high jewelery house, was seduced by the market and launched Pasha Edition Noire after 21 years of the launch of the classic and successful Pasha (1992), this version that It comes in the same bottle inspired by the iconic pen of the firm, is it now dressed in black. But don't be fooled by its color and its supposed "noire" edition, this modernized version is an 4x4 that can be used perfectly both day and night, and although its opening is powerful (also more youthful than its mother fragrance) after its the first 45 minutes is mutating to the classic DNA but in version 3.0 and settles but does not disappear, maintaining a regular duration of 6 to 7 hours. As I said before, the opening is powerful youthful loaded with amber, cedar, some very green and volatile citrus fruits with a touch of ambroxam (or something else) that makes it a bit modern (slightly reminiscent of Nuit Issey edt just in the beginning), all this is mixed in the drydown with that DNA of lavender, mint and oak moss that gave that green-bitter to its predecessor, but here it is mixed with dark spicy notes (cloves and pepper) and slightly sweet and powdery floral (iris , violet and heliotrope). The result is a well-made, pleasant, versatile, masculine fragrance with a modern touch without giving up its mature side, it can easily be a signature fragrance, and although it does not bring us anything new, it is an updated version adapted to new generations without losing the hallmark of the house.

I tested Cartier's 'Pasha de Cartier: Noire Edition' for a couple wearings and was pleasantly satisfied with the scent. It is an easily enjoyable, dumb reach worthy fragrance that works in any weather and any situation. Basically, if you mixed Tommy Hilfiger 'Tommy' with Issey Miyake 'Nuit d'Issey', this is sort of the vibe you would get. It is also very similar to Montale 'Fougeres Marine', but a slight bit darker and with less performance. The opening blast is basically a deeper and darker Tommy by Tommy Hilfiger, but higher quality ingredients, and the base similar to Nuit d'Issey, but less intense and more natural smelling. This stuff smells very good, and while projection is not weak, its not a beast either. It is detectable, but not offensive or loud. The first hour gathers compliments like crazy. With eight sprays (neck, shoulders, chest, forearms), I get about six hours of longevity, and about one hour of solid arm's length projection. After the first hour, it sits a bit closer to the skin, but does have good sillage and is nice and heavy when up close. It does stay on clothes and fabrics for 12-15+ hours, and smells like a niche version of Tommy Hilfiger, but deeper and darker. If you enjoy classic Tommy Hilfiger or Montale 'Fougeres Marine', you will definitely like this. This takes that DNA and adds a darker, upscale base and natural ntThis is safe for the office, and works in almost any situation. The performance doesn't match the full retail price, so if you can pick it up on a discount, grab it. Definitely worth owning.

Delicate, elegant, light, classy, fresh... But enough about me. There's a bit of hate on this for being called "edition noire" and, frankly, I get where they're coming from. If this is "edition noire", the original Pasha must have been as light as a feather. That said, I like to take each fragrance on it's own merits and I like this offering. The bottle is very nice, a bit bullet/warhead shaped but there's nothing violent about the fragrance. It opens fresh, with a perfume vibe at first, smells a little "wealthy grandma". That is an indication that this isn't a typical "noire". Thankfully, that burns off quickly to reveal what the fragrance is all about. Green citrus' (noire?!) hanging from branches of discreet trees, a few streaks of sap dripping down the bark on a warm, fresh spring day. There's some spicy plants lurking about, not many and they are overshadowed by the freshness of the overall scene but they remain. I think this scent would be perfect for a day function, when you want to smell good but not loud. Its classy, not for clubbing but more a wedding or suit and tie event. Strangely, the projection is moderate but the longevity is great. So, I like this as you can probably tell (if you are still reading). I've got a bottle BUT I'm not sure if I'd buy another. That's the acid test for me. I'm not saying I wouldn't but I'm not sure. Time will tell...

Dear reader's, ♥ I was given this perfume as a birthday gift bywhich I loved receiving a Cartier gift for my birthday. But to my surprise my b-day gift wasn't the original Pasha but a new Pasha and a Noire . After I sprayed it in the air, I noticed the scent was youthful and light than the big 80's version. Pasha Noire has the sophisticated and cool Cartier gene but the aquatic woody notes. This reminds me of relaxed. classy gentlemen who enjoys beauty in people and his surroundings and an aura exclusivity. The perfume on me: the silage of Pasha Noire stood within my body, and its staying power of was like a late summer love affair, crisp and casually sexy but short lived. Although my chemistry brought out more aquatic and citrus woods in the drydowns .. Both Pashas share the same Cartier gene of assertive character.sophistication,exclusive beauty .If you enjoy a more alpha male/ king fragrance than get 1980's Pasha,specially when you go out in the night time. Pasha noire is sexy and fresh-personally I think I will use Pasha Noire as a day signature and Pasha for the night. Both Pashas make a great gift for yourself or a special refine man in your love life, makes a great gift and the scent if sheer class and made to win ♥

#710 in my "Tour de Fragrance" I think this scent deserves a better rating, but I think it's probably being marked down on it's moderate performance, something I've experienced with other Cartier scents. They're nice scents, but the performance of the EDTs isn't great. Can't be that most people aren't liking this scent itself, which is very good, pulling off some nice floral notes (especially love the iris), without coming off feminine. The mint, pepper and clove together brings an herbal-wintergreen vibe that reminds me of my favorite chewing gums as a kid: Wrigley's "Doublemint" and Beeman's "Clove." It's comforting and evokes memories of the little league diamond. I put this in the same sort of category as Issey Miyake's Nuit d'Issey, Gucci's Guilty EDP. Boss The Scent. It doesn't smell the same, but it's the same sort of safe, versatile, reasonably priced office wear. Best for cooler weather. Fine for the car pool, elevator, tight spaces. Might even work for date night. I like it, and it definitely motivates me to try the Pasha de Cartier Noire Absolu next, the one remaining Cartier men's scent I've yet to try.

Preface: I am not well versed in perfumery and the olfactory experiences like a lot of the others here, this is purely an opinion from an average man who is slightly more informed than average about fragrances and perfumes. Hopefully my reviews might relate more to the average audience. It's a freshie, that's for sure. The opening has this synthetic watery smell, but it's very inoffensive for me, in fact it is pretty pleasant. Definitely not a Noire, dark smell as the name implies. For an EDT, it has surprisingly decent longevity with average sillage. While I agree that it is a bit generic, it is absolutely by no means a bad perfume in the slightest. It is very flexible to use anytime of the day. It smells... professional. Like a simple, clean, powdery smell that you can use in the office or at the gym. The price is a bit high for my taste to use daily, however, but that's just me. It might not be your favorite, but it can be your reliable, clean scent to use if you don't feel like thinking too much on what to wear.

Some people have problems with some notes. Including Violet (flower and leafs), aquatics, shower gel, and sometimes mint, to name a few. This is a really nice fragrance and girls would love it because it smells like a freshly showered man. The problem is that the violet is very proeminent and, for many people, violet is associated with windex and almost every scent with violet leaf is usually lablelled as "generic". That's a fact that i've been noticing since i started this job years ago. Guys, generic is every single sweet fragrance that comes out every year. The Invictus flankers, 1 Million flankers, The newer Le Male's (specially Elixir), Valentino born in roma line..... Those are the generic stuff that every young guy likes. and they all smell alike. This is just a nice fresh masculine scent. Nothing wrong about it. Doesn't remind you of any other fragrance. It has a shower gel-like of smell but it's nice and smells good. It's not a 5 stars fragrance, but it's nice and unique.

Having not been familiar with the original Pasha before encountering this flanker, it was an affable discovery nevertheless. A fruity fresh clean that, while not exactly exceptional, is certainly respectable enough. Some may complain that the black and silver domed semi-phallic bottle and packaging are misleading given the arguably light and fresh fragrance. I'll admit that the scent proper didn't necessarily seem "Cartier-esque," though the conflicting presentation didn't really bother me either. Longevity proved above average, and projection average, on a hot, early Fall, southeastern day. Detectably similar to Michel Germain's Sexual Steele. A tad steep at the list price, and I don't know that one has to pay the full retail price for the 100ml EDT ($110). But, given the current trend of masculine spicys on the market, this was a nice departure, and seems easily obtained in the more reasonable $45 to $60 range. ★★★ (out of ★★★★).

This has to be one of the least inspiring offerings from Cartier. I'm not a huge fan of the brand but I respect that their fragrances possess a degree of quality and focus. For example the bravery of a luminous rose scent for men or a cardamom heavy, spicy citrus but this is not what Edition Noire is about. It opens with light citrus which seems quite pleasing then the monotony begins. It's a accord of light amber and woods which doesn't inspire me at all. It's generic, fresh, reasonably enjoyable, wearable but without feeling cheap. (well maybe a little) certainly not the worst release in recent times. Yeah so a little bit boring I'm afraid, shame really because the original Pasha is a real favourite of mine. I don't know what's more disappointing? This fragrance... or the fact that I actually agree with Wes for a change?

Biraz daha koyu biraz daha ağır olabilse üstünde taşıdığı markanın en iyi erkek parfümü olabilirdi. Kötü değil, popüler yada designer markaların ürünlerinden bir adım yukarda ama o kadar. Belki çok az ama çok az deri ve labdanum ile yukarda olabilirdi. İlk açılış çöl keyifli. Yaklaşık yatım saat sonra vasat çizgisine doğru iniyor. Ama dediğim gibi kötü değil. Sisesi ise çok başarılı bir tasarım. Kalıcılık fena değil. Koku dağılımı ise ilk 15 dakika kuvvetli ama sonra tene yakın kalmaya başlıyor. Aslında niş ve popüler ürünlerin tam arasında bir yerde duruyor. Genç ile olgunluk arasındaki yaşlar için çok uygun. Çünkü tam oralarda geziyor. Fiyat ve sundukları bakımından gayet iyi. Çok sıcak havalarda dışında her zaman uygun.

Good scent. Very versatile. Possible everyday or signature scent. Not really a "noire" scent. This is a cedar scent. Cedar is prominent from start to finish. Citrus is there in the beginning to lighten things up then goes away and the powdery Iris starts to accompany the cedar too. The mint helps freshen/sweeten the already fresh (and I would also say sweet) cedar. The amber helps tone down the brightness of cedar and mint. It's well balanced. Somewhat simple and fairly linear. If you like cedar, and don't have an ambery powdery cedar in your collection, then this is a very safe blind buy. Not too pricey either. Not necessarily exciting or unique, but, then again, that's ok for a daily wear.

Although well-blended and unlikely to offend anyone (as long as you don't overspray), this perfume takes no creative risks and is therefore unlikely to attract any diehard fans. A safe choice for office wear, reminiscent of a high-quality shower gel. Very much the smell of an airport duty-free shop, at least at first. A loud, sparkling citrus and mint opening dries down to a fresh and powdery violet-cedar scent, eventually warming slightly but otherwise not changing significantly. On me at least, the spice and amber notes are not at all discernible in cooler weather, but add more interest and warmth to the fragrance once it heats up outside.

Fucking Cartier, they really do it best. A soft sweetness with a mysterious feel. I just quoted Jettison in the above lines. I'm knew to scents, and I fell in love with this one from first spray, I must say u can tell a lot about most scents from the initial spray. This one screams a beautiful tension of sexiness and love. A raunchy respectable potion of intrigue and delight. What more can one say except go out there and gets yourself a funky bottle of this upper class spray. Update Longevity and projection are mild, apply liberally, u may get up to 4hrs of performance. Magic smell though.

A spicy woody amber aromatically uplifted with the addition of what smells like mint. It's fairly smooth and altogether pleasant but somewhat faceless and lacking in distinction as well. You could do better (Carven L'Eau Intense, for example, or Bleu de Chanel), but this isn't bad either. I prefer it to the original at least. I wouldn't hold it against you if you picked this up on a discount but it's not particularly compelling or memorable. A perfectly suitable office fragrance or casual daytime/evening scent. Decent performance. Final rating: 7/10. Non-urgently recommended for sampling.

Not bad. No WOW! factor, but not bad. I like the fruity opening - that seems well-wrought. It dries down to an inoffensive, somewhat generic scent. I'm pretty sure I wouldn't buy this, but I wouldn't turn down a bottle if it came my way. One of those "office scents." Projection and longevity are average for scents these days, which is another way of saying disappointing. ----------- On a second wearing I have changed my opinion because I've detected a somewhat sour note in this. It is not prominent and I don't know how I missed it before, but it is unpleasant, so, no.

Pasha Edition Noire is an aromatic, spicy and woody fragrance. It has a smell very manly, is well balanced, it opens with citrus, and after two minutes immediately goes to a woody ans spicy phase. Mainly smells to a mix of amber, cedar, some powdery flowers and spicies. This fragrance is the update of Pasha classic, is modern, and stills manly. Is fragrance for use every time of year, any situation, it could be signature fragrance. Its longevity is between 6 or 7 hrs., but stays near to the skin. I like it Pasha Noire

Pleasant, versatile, mass-appealing. Suitable for formal occasions and business meetings; good for the office and school. It occupies the space between green fragrances (like Cool Water/GIT) and blue fragrances (like YSL Y/Invictus). Nothing distinct or unique here that will make you stick out from the crowd. Personally, I wear this mostly at nighttime when eating out for dinner or visiting a friend's house. On my skin, it stays for 5-6 hours with arm's length of projection for an hour or so.

Bright, uplifting citrus opening with a touch of sweetness and powdery florals. Has that sinus-opening showel gel scent profile. Almost immediately the cedar backbone is revealed, lending a fresh woody accord to the base. Moderate-soft initial projection slowly pulls into almost nothing over ~2hr, with faint whiffs up to 4hr. Skin scent for 10-12hr. Not sure about the naming convention here, this isn't very "noire." It's pleasant and versatile, if not somewhat generic.

It reminds me of the duty-free fragrances section at the international airports. It's a safe fragrance, nothing too spectacular or outlandish. Very generic and balanced; safe blind buy style. It's one of those fragrances (for me), where if I cant decide what to wear, this will cut it. I don't own a bottle and probably wont buy it because my max limit of owning bottles is 9, and I have 6 already. A blind buy gift worth style fragrance for a 45+ year old.

Fresh spicy and powdery to the core, this is a smoothly blended and well put together daytime fragrance that leans masculine. A nice easy wear option. It doesn't smell old fashioned but has a classic clean spice to it. On me it lasts just a few hours though, I wish there was an EDP version that had better longevity. This would have been an ideal office fragrance but it barely lasts half a workday.

There is very little "noire" in this fragrance. Modern "noire" fragrances have much more sweetness than this office friendly, woody/fresh fragrance. It has poor projection and a dated scent profile, but is better quality than your average cheapie. Leans more masculine and targets a 30+ demographic. All of that said, it really does smell good and most people will enjoy it. It's just not original.
