Carven C'est Paris ! Pour Homme

Very nice Surprise! Carven cest paris is a very nice fragrance, elegant, balanced and different from the trend of today. It starts with lemon and cypress, then i detect Rosemary, lavender, violet, a soft nutty note, moss and cedar. The overall is a clean and refined smell, a bit powdery and not so sweet. Call me mad but to me is a mix of green irish tweed by creed and gucci pour homme parfum. Carven cest paris is a bit more Woody and less fresh-grassy. This edt will not rock your world but it's definitely a pleasant smell, far from the ambroxan bombs of the current offering. Better for 25 and up, for every season and formal or casual occasions. Performance is average. I bought for a good price so im happy with that. Still in production but i didnt find it in italy. Merci carven! Carven cest paris è un profumo molto buono e poco considerato. This is a fantastic release. The fragrance opens very fresh and floral. The opening hints at the sweet heart and base notes. The lavendel and violet leaves together are a smooth transition to the base notes. The base reveals a sweet woody scent. The verginian cedar and sandal wood take centre stage. The patchouli and labdanum keep it light enough to make it suitable for summer and spring.

Bought this as a souvenir of a trip to Paris! It has a unique smell blending the lemon and lavender / green notes which shouldn't work but is beautifully blended. It has a piney feel with the cypress / moss notes. Sadly the projection is pretty poor for me and it becomes a skin scent after an hour or two. Great for running errands or work but don't expect great performance.

It's an ok fresh woody fragrance, but it has this strong lavender note that smells like laundry detergent which I somewhat dislike. Doesn't last terribly wrong or project a lot, I put on a lot of sprays when I choose to wear this.

Its really good for every season overall. nice manly scent

Imagine eating a nutty pastry in an old style Paris airbnb that is owned by an art collector on a chilly rainy Spring evening. I love classic black and white photography from the 1930s, the likes of Kertesz, Brassai, Capa. As soon as I smelled this Carven the image of Paris in those classic artist days popped into my mind. I think it is nice, romantic, even erotic. Definitely a great date night fragrance. Try to sample before a full bottle purchase. At this point I think my small bottle will last a long time, if not, I would purchase a larger one. Unique, but not mind blowing. Nice.
