Paris Santorin

No rating available yet? So I try to start with my first impression: summery, fruity, uplifting, fig done right. At first, I thought Paris Santorin was a scent with a single note - just a fig and nothing else. But after a few days I have to correct my first thoughts: It is a complex, living fig with a good touch of Mediterranean sun, filled with bergamot and immortelle. The scent evokes the beauty of sun-warmed islands and green leaves that are easily moved by a warm breeze. It's kind of refreshing, without being too much of anything, not too "cold", "citrusy" or "aquatic". Instead, it's all about green leaves paired with warm flowers. The fig notes change constantly - sometimes I get the ripe fresh fruits, sometimes the scent of sweet dried figs and sometimes only the leaves. This distinguishes this perfume from cheap, fruity drugstore fragrances. Since woody notes usually develop very well on my skin, I find the basenotes here quite strong. I get a lot of almost soapy sandalwood. At first I could not decide, but now I like the scent very much and it could still become love. You can clearly tell it's a high quality fragrance, and the sandalwood makes it perfectly unisex without being too harsh at any time. Edit: Changed from a strong "like" to "love" - for subjective reasons. Something in it reminds of my childhood, maybe something my father used to wear, mingled with the scent of dryed figues, which he used to bring me from his business trips. That is a happy and sunlighted memory from old times, he passed away twenty years ago. For this happy memory I will always appreciate this beautiful scent.

Santorin by Carven is a beautiful fig fragrance. You get the entire fig tree. It's classy but relaxed, and its salty, citrusy accords definitely capture the Santorinian spirit. It's opens with a sweet and slightly earthy fig, perfectly complemented by bright and zesty bergamot. It is slightly spicy, slightly sweet, with a touch of powdery, floral elegance. About mid-wear the woods come through, and in the drydown you get a lot more iris and immortelle, giving it 8+ hours of wear on skin. The drydown is a tug-of-war where the sweet and powdery accords play with the soultry woods for a beautiful sillage. Longevity: 6-8 hours Sillage: moderate

One of the most beautiful fig fragrances. It opens with morning green leaves, grass and sea and develops to a creamy accord with a fresh touch and some sweetness. To me, it sounds almost aquatic - Santorin has a sea breeze in it. This fragrance is uplifting, dreamy and easygoing. Easy to wear. Technical parameters of this eau de parfum are good. It is well-articulated, does not have heavy notes, and stays with you longer than many other summer perfumes. ps. I would prefer a smaller flacon, as Santorin would be a good companion for vacations. Also, brands should have some mercy for their clients - fragrances have become really overpriced.

Green fig leaves: juicy, slightly powdery and tart. Beautiful fig scent with some tea notes and soft woody base. Reminds we of Philosykos Diptyque a lot and a bit of Tea Tonique by Miller Harris. Huge like! Follow me on IG: scent.guide

its really the one of the most beautiful fig scents. yes its green but milky way also sophisticated. I am not a such fan of green notes but i love it
